this project is going to be a cookie you can use it as a magnet or an

embellishment for a hat and make it any color that you want to make it I made

mine chocolate I will be using this lighter color so it will be easier to

see it against the dark background and I will be using a G crochet hook we will

also be using white for the inside frosting we will make two sides of this

part of the cookie we'll start with a Magic Circle chain one pull up this will

not count as a stitch work 12 half double crochet through the circle

one pull-up work two half double crochet in the first stitch and in each stitch

around for a total of 24 so we're increasing in each stitch there's 3 4 5

will want to cut off a length of tail for sewing the three pieces together now

this will be the inside frosting and I'm going to use the magic loop chain one

through the Magic Circle and I'm going to leave this part open I'm not going to

pull it tight there's two three

21 22 23 24 I'm just going to pull a little bit not much I want to join in my

beginning half double crochet now I can cut off a small tail and this part will

be sandwiched between the two exterior pieces now we can hold it up here and

have an idea where it's gonna end up that we want it to show a little bit I

kind of like to pull mine a little bit snug so the frosting is more to the

inside you can adjust it however you would like to adjust it now we want to

knot and secure the Magic Circle Center

and weave the yarn through the stitches to hide the tail and I am working on the

inside this is the outside and this is the inside you won't be able to see this

part do the same thing with the other Center knot and secure it and weave it

through the stitches

cut off the tail now before I secure my frosting I want to make sure I have it

adjusted how I want it I still am able to move the center ring so I'm going to

tighten mine a little bit not much and even out the stitches they look a little

crooked that's a little better

I think I'm happy with that

now I'm I'm going to knot and secure my Magic Loop ring on my frosting

now weave the tail through the stitches

now we want to hide the last tale on the frosting

with the right sides out we want to align to have right this is the right

side and this was the right side we want to align the pieces together and I have

tales from both sides I'm going to put them at opposite sides just in case I

run out of yarn but hopefully I'll have enough to go all the way around but if I

don't then I have some extra yarn now I'm just going to kind of weave my

tapestry needle through the stitches here and go around to the other side

don't pull too tight or you'll be able to see the stitch just kind of a little

loose stitch now I weave through the other side and then push the needle back

through now I will weave through a couple stitches and then push the needle

back through to the other side here weave through a couple of stitches and

then push it back through you can see it secured just continue doing that all the

way around until the cookie is sewn together and you can use it on a hat or

a purse or a magnet on your refrigerator however you want to use it to embellish

give it as a gift a gag gift there's all kinds of maybe your kids want to have

some play food to go along with the crochet cupcakes

these are nice little items to sell at bazaars or Church sales because you can

sell them pretty inexpensive and people will buy these I used to sell them all

the time when I lived in Germany they're that pretty much completes our vanilla

cookie now we have two more tails to hide in

now I have a chocolate and a vanilla cookie now to finish up my cookie I have

some magnet and a hot glue gun and I'm going to cut off a little piece of

magnet and tear the sticky backing off I never trust the sticky backing so I use

a hot glue gun and what I'm going to do is run a bead of hot glue along the back

of the magnetic strip being careful not to burn myself and then just flip it

over on the back of the cookie and let it set and cool off and now that it's

cooled off I can put it on my refrigerator
