The Prophet ﷺ was once seated - was once with the sahabah

and the sahabah began a discussion.

About the dunya and the akhirah.

What is the dunya? What is the akhirah?

So some of the sahabah said that the dunya is a بلاغ

It's a conduit, it's a carriage to the akhirah

So it gives us an opportunity in the world to pray, to do good

whereby we can reach the akhirah and Jannah

So the other sahabah they said 'no'. They spoke only of the akhirah

The discussion was about the good of the dunya, about the good of the world.

So some of the sahabah said the dunya is a بلاغ It's a conduit, it's a passage

It's a means of reaching Jannah and the akhirah.

So in a way they were praising the dunya, but only in religious terms and

the other sahabah spoke only of the akhirah, not of the dunya

So when the Prophet ﷺ heard them,

the Prophet ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you the position of the dunya in relation to the akhirah?

The position of the dunya, of the world, in relation to the life thereafter, in relation to the second life

is as if if one of you..." The Prophet ﷺ said, "If one of you was to walk to the - was to go to the ocean

and dip in his finger and remove it the amount of water that is reduced from the ocean,

that is the relevance of the dunya in comparison to the ocean of the akhirah."

And that was in the context of good, not in the context of the world and the love of the world

but in the context of the Sahaba discussing the world being a good opportunity and a

conduit and a carriage to reaching Jannah and granting us an opportunity to do good in the world.

Even about that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The world is equivalent to the amount of water that is reduced

when one extracts one's dipped finger from the ocean in contrast to the ocean itself."

So our purpose is not the world it is the akhirah and that's why Allah says in that question

which ultimately is for the hereafter, it will be a question raised in the akhirah but it's relevant for us here now;

{ أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ } 115 Surah 23 : Verse

"What do you think that you have been created in vain and that you will not be returned to us?"

Everything is about us returning to Allah

Donald Trump visits Blenheim Palace - what it is and its links to Churchill - Duration: 4:03.

</form> It's been revealed at Blenheim Palace next Thursday, July 12.  Before the dinner, 100 business chiefs will be treated to a military ceremony performed by the bands of Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards in the palace's Great Court, who will play the Liberty Fanfare, Amazing Grace and the National Emblem

They'll be serenaded by the Countess of Wessex's Orchestra and the President, finally making his first visit to Britain since his election amid huge protests, will be piped out at the end by the Royal Regiment of Scotland

Trump, who previously demanded a gold-plated carriage procession with the Queen, will doubtless delight in the pomp and ceremony of the occasion

And it gets even better - the house has a long association with wartime leader Sir Winston Churchill, a hero of Trump

So what is Blenheim Palace, how is it linked to Winston Churchill, and what has Trump said about Churchill in the past?  Here's everything you need to know… Read More Donald Trump UK visit What is Blenheim Palace?  Blenheim Palace, described by its official website as 'a masterpiece of Baroque architecture' and recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Britain's largest country houses

Although it is called a palace, it is not the residence of a member of the royal family or a bishop, making it unique among UK buildings with this grand designation

The name Blenheim (pronounced BLEN-im) comes from the Bavarian town of Blindheim, where the Duke of Marlborough won a famous victory over the French in the War of the Spanish Succession in 1704

.  The standout part of the stately home is its magnificent State Rooms, where you can find the famous Marlborough Tapestries depicting the 1704 victory

Its Long Library contains more than 10,000 books, many of which are hundreds of years old

What is its connection to Churchill?  The owner of Blenheim Palace may have been known officially as Marlborough, but his name was John Churchill

John Churchill was a renowned military leader and served as First Lord of the Treasury, a title now held by Theresa May (though he was not PM as that position did not exist)

The man who would serve as Prime Minister during this country's darkest hour was born at Blenheim Palace on 30 November 1874

Winston Churchill, elected as MP for Oldham at the age of just 25 in 1900, proposed to Clementine Hozier in Blenheim's Temple of Diana in 1908

The man himself emphasised the importance of Blenheim to his life in characteristically witty fashion, saying, 'At Blenheim I took two very important decisions, to be born and to marry

I am content with the decision I took on both occasions.'  The property is still owned by his descendants

What has Trump said about Churchill?  Churchill has frequently been invoked not just by British leaders, but by their American counterparts too - and President Trump is no exception

One of his first acts after his inauguration was to 'return' a bust of Churchill to the White House

In fact, despite Boris Johnson's pointing to the bust's removal as evidence of 'part Kenyan' Obama's 'ancestral dislike' of the UK, the statue remained in the White House during the Obama administration but was moved from the Oval Office to a prominent spot in the Residence

Trump is also reported to have loved the Gary Oldman film 'Darkest Hour' so much that he recommended it to Theresa May over the phone and wants to see the Churchill War Rooms when he comes to Britain next time

Former US presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, now a devout Trump supporter, tweeted after seeing the film that after the US 'had a Chamberlain for 8 years' in Obama, referring to Churchill's predecessor who tried to appease Hitler, but in Trump they had a Churchill

Strangely, however, Trump was unimpressed by being compared to the wartime leader, with Republican David Purdue telling the New York Times that the President called him to complain when he made the link

'So you think I'm like Churchill?' the President allegedly said, with Purdue adding that 'he didn't think that was a compliment

'
