LG Electronics washing machines were praised by a U.S. consumer magazine on Friday.

According to industry watcher, Consumer Reports,...

South Korea's tech giant beat its rivals for reliability in three washer categories high-efficiency

top-loaders, front-loaders and compact front-loaders.

The results were based on over 76-thousand washing machines sold in the United States

between 2007 and 2017.

The U.S. implemented safeguard measures against South Korean washers in February, imposing

a 20-percent tariff on the first 1-point-2 million imported South Korean washers in 2018,…

and a 50-percent tariff on machines beyond that number.

of American goods.

A visible retaliatory response to Trump's latest measures targeting various nations.

According to AFP,... the EU has targeted iconic products,... including Harley Davidson bikes,

Levi's jeans, and bourbon.

The tariffs, which took effect Friday,... come weeks after the U.S. implemented duties

of 25 percent on steel and 10 percent on aluminum imports from key trade partners, including

Canada, Mexico, and the EU.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: THE U.S. HAS THE WORST IMMIGRATION LAWS IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD - Duration: 22:32.

Dart the President of the United States let's

watch hello everybody thank you very much being here it's cabinet meeting and

we have plenty of things to discuss and plenty of success we've had a tremendous

amount of success we're working however right now in immigration which has been

going on for many years we have come up with a lot of solutions but we have

Democrats that don't want to approve anything because that's probably they

think bad for the election that's coming up unfortunately there are a lot of

people suffering and that's unfortunate unrelated and before we get into that

the new employment claims recently out just yesterday show that we have the

lowest level in nearly a half a century at something that is an incredible

statistic and then half a century it's a long time and the economy is booming

it's doing really well we're renegotiating trade deals we're doing

very well in those trade deals stacked taking a little period of time we put

tariffs on certain countries and certain industries where it's been very unfair

to the United States our treasury is taking in billions of dollars and these

other countries are coming along that have not treated us well and they are

negotiating very vigorously and lots of good things are happening this should

have been taken care of a long time before my administration came into being

but for some reason for 25-30 years nobody ever looked at trade deals

they're out of control how bad they are but well

to make them very good and we're going to make them fair for both countries for

our country and for whichever country were dealing with and there are plenty

of them because they're all bad there's nothing good my administration is also

acting swiftly to address the illegal immigration crisis on the southern

border loopholes and our immigration laws all supported by extremists open

border Democrats and that's what they are they're extremists open border

Democrats if you look at Nancy Pelosi you look at Chuck Schumer you'll see

tapes where they wanted to have what borders they needed borders for security

just a short while ago number of years ago I see Chuck Schumer we must have

borders Hillary Clinton we must have borders if people penetrate our borders

we must get them out of our country now all of a sudden that big open border

people it's a whole big con job in the meantime people are suffering because of

the Democrats so we've created and they've created and they've let it

happen a massive child smuggling industry

that's exactly what it's become traffickers if you think about this

human traffickers are making a fortune it's a disgrace these loopholes forced

the release of alien families and minors into the country when they illegally

cross the border since 2014 alone nearly 200,000 unaccompanied alien minors have

been released into the United States as a result of Democrat backed loopholes

including catch and release which is one of the worst you catch them and then you

release them might as well save you time don't bother catching them and this is

what we're stuck with they're the worst immigration laws in the history of the

world the whole world is laughing at the United States and they happen for years

these alien miners were separated and sent all the way up here alone but they

really came up with coyotes you know the coyote is not good these are not good

people they were set up here with human traffickers because the Democrat

supported policies have allowed this to happen Democrats also refuse to fund the

personnel the bed space the resources that we need to house D miners now they

want us to take care of the miners and that's fine but they don't want to give

us the money to take care of because the worst everything looks they think the

better they're going to do with respect to the Blue Wave which is turning out

frankly to be a red wave if you look at the polls I think we're gonna have a red

wave not a blue wave so they want us to take care of bed space and resources and

personnel and take everybody and you know like let's run the most luxurious

hotel in the world for everybody but they don't want to give us the money so

you could ask them about that we have to house these miners that we have to have

them safely and frankly we have to house them and we should be taking good care

of them and then we should return them back home that's what we have to do but

every time we ask for resources the Democrats say no they said no to

everything they're obstructionist because they think that's good

politically I think it's bad politically for them I think it's bad politically

we'll say in addition Democrat and court-ordered loopholes prevent family

detention and lead to family separation no matter how you cut it

I signed a very good executive order yesterday but that's only limited no

matter how you cut it leads to separation ultimately I'm directing HHS

DHS and DOJ to work together to keep the illegal

immigrant families together during the immigration process and to reunite these

previously separated groups but the only real solution is for Congress to close

the catch-and-release loopholes that have fueled the child smuggling industry

the Democrats are causing tremendous damage and destruction and lives by not

doing something about this and they know that they know that better than anyone

up there with a pen if we don't close these little poles there is no amount of

money or personnel in the world to address the crisis very serious crisis

been going on so long this isn't Trump administration you look back at 2014

during the Obama administration they have pictures that were so bad they had

a judge that said it was inhumane the way they were treating children take a

look at some of the court rulings against the Obama administration they

talked about inhumane treatment I read them I looked at them they're all over

the place inhumane treatment they were treating

them terribly we have a situation where some of these places they're really

running them well and I give a lot of credit to secretary Neilson and all of

the people that have worked it's so nice is that people have seen but it's still

something that shouldn't be taking place my wife our first lady is down now at

the border because it really bothered her to be looking at this and to seeing

it as it bothered me as it bothered everybody at this table we're all

bothered by it but we need two to tango we have 51 votes in the Senate we need

60 unfortunately because we have the ridiculous filibuster rule so we need 60

and I think I'll get four or five or six from senators frankly running in states

where I won by 25 30 40 points with Mike and I think we'll get six senators maybe

we'll get seven senators that still doesn't get us to 60 so there's nothing

you can do to get there and people don't understand that when we have a majority

in the center we have a majority by one but we need 10 votes so we need 10

essentially we need 10 Democrats not going to get them they're told by

Schumer and Pelosi don't do it because we want to see if we can pick up seats

they don't care about the children they don't care about the injury they don't

care about the problems they don't care about anything all they do is say

obstruct and let's see how we do because no policies that are any good they're

not good politicians they've got nothing going all they're good at is obstructing

and they generally stick together I respect them for that that's about it

their policies stink there's no good they have no ideas they

have no nothing the Democrats all they can do is obstruct and stay together and

vote against and make it impossible to take care of children and families and

to take care of immigration we should be able to make an immigration bill that

can really solve the problem not just this this is one aspect of it this is

one very important but small aspect of it we should be able to do a bill I'd

invite them to come over to the White House anytime they want this afternoon

would be good after the cabinet meeting would be good they are invited

officially I'll let you do the inviting let the press do the inviting but we

have to do something about immigration in this country for 50 years of long

before that it was a disaster but over the last 2025 years it's gotten worse

every time they write a rule or regulation it makes it worse not better

we can solve this problem we have to hire thousands of judges no country in

the world is hiring judges like that they hire border people like you can't

come into the country in Mexico by the way is doing nothing for us nothing they

have the strongest immigration laws they can do whatever they want they can keep

people out of Mexico you have a 2,000 mile journey up Mexico they walk through

Mexico like it's walking through Central Park it's ridiculous

Mexico does nothing for us so then when people say why are you being so tough

with NAFTA and I am being tough because we it's a terrible deal for the United

States Mexico is making a hundred billion dollars a year of us and the

horrible NAFTA deal and I am being tough one of the reasons I'm being tough

because they do nothing for us at the border they encourage people frankly to

walk through Mexico and go into the United States because they're drug

traffickers they're human traffickers they're coyotes I mean we get in some

real beauties Mexico is doing nothing for us except taking our money and

sending us drugs and doing nothing they could solve this problem in two minutes

you wouldn't even have to do anything but they don't do it they talk a good

game but they don't do it so we'll see how that all comes out it would be very

interesting to see so with that I'll end by saying we had a tremendous success in

North Korea we continued to work on that Mike Pompeo has been fantastic John

Bolton working together with Mike has been fantastic I don't even know where

and there it is 31 might have gone back to North Korea

spent so much time in North Korea surprised to see you here but I think I

can speak for both of us in saying it's been an incredible experience the

relationship is very good they've stopped the sending of missiles

including ballistic missiles they're destroying their engine site they're

blowing it up they've already blown up one of their big test sites in fact it

was actually four of their big test sites and the big thing is it will be a

total depolarization which is already starting taking place and I understand

Mike that they've already sent back or in the process of sending back the

remains of our great heroes who died in North Korea during the war and that's

already in the process of coming back Plus as you all know very well we got

back our hostages are three hostages or right now living very happily with their

families and we're very happy about that so we've made tremendous progress with

respect to North Korea even since I last spoke to you what we agreed to do is

have a meeting I know that some of the media says oh they agreed to meet well

and anybody would have agreed to meet and it would not have been possible for

past administrations to have met in the way that we've met this was an

incredible important meeting all over Asia they're in love with the United

States because what we've done and Japan I spoke to Prime Minister Abbey and he

was so thrilled he doesn't have Rockets going over Japan that makes them very

happy general you know that right he's very thrilled not to see rockets going

over Japan there were plenty of them sent right over Japan and he said I want

to thank you because what you've done is incredible there are no more rockets

going and there's no thought of it now things can change I said it last night

at a speech things can change personalities can change maybe end up

with conflict maybe you don't but the relationship that mike has and I have

with Chairman Kim and his group is a very good one very strong one and I

think it's going to lead to tremendous success but the document we signed if

people actually read it to the public you'd see number one statement we will

immediately begin total D nuclearization of North Korea nobody thought that would

be possible if you remember a year and a half ago when Mike and I came into

office and when this group came into office everybody was talking about

there's gonna be a war gonna be a war with North Korea during the Obama years

it's all I heard about war with North Korea you have 28 million people 30

miles away from the border where they have thousands of massive they call them

cannons and that's what they are they're bigger than howitzers and they're all

aimed at Seoul Seoul has 28 million people and it would be not a catastrophe

of a hundred thousand people or 200,000 like I'd read from you this is a this

could have been a catastrophe at 30 40 50 million people and I think we're very

close to having that situation so if we've had some very good news even over

the last couple of days they want to get it done we want to get it done and we're

moving quickly so North Korea has been an incredible experience for me and I

we're gonna help them also get back on track

we think that it has tremendous potential

chairman Kim thinks it has tremendous potential I want to also thank as you

know Prime Minister Robby I want to thank President moon from South Korea

he's been terrific he's been really moving it along and pushing as hard as

they can but without the United States had had no chance whatsoever I also

wanted to thank President Xi of China because the border was very strong

during a very critical period unfortunately the border is getting a

little bit weaker now but that's okay and that's okay but we have to get them

to keep it tough but I do want to thank President Xi of China so with all of

that we're having tremendous numbers tremendous economic success I think

we're having the most successful period of time economically perhaps in our

country's history GDP numbers have been great but the ones that are coming out

I'm really looking forward to seeing that I think you're gonna see numbers I

just see the activity I see the business yesterday and last evening was really

that was an incredible evening that we spent that was to me

just an incredible evening a lot of you were there I see a lot of the faces a

lot of you were there and the least 15,000 people couldn't get into the

arena and the arena was big it held nine thousand people but sadly 15,000 people

couldn't get into the arena but it was a very special evening and people had a

good time but they also heard a lot so I want to thank everybody very much Mick

Mulvaney is going to be giving a little report you can do it in front of the

media would the media like to hear Mick Mulvaney x' report or would you find it

extraordinarily boring and ever not fit for camera did you like to hear

it yeah it'll be good and why don't we do this

we'll say grace afterwards Mike and will will do Mick and then we'll say grace

you don't necessarily have to do that or further the cameras okay Mick go ahead

it was not really hard to make that's not boring president mr. president a lot

of folks around this table have worked a long time almost since you took over to

show you what to get you where you are today at this meeting I call this the

drain the swamp cabinet meeting I know we talked about that during the campaign

you've talked about it since you've been here today is we were introducing the

actual actions that follow up on those words to show people what we meant when

we said drain the swamp later on after the press leaves you'll hear from Andrew

Brent Berg and mr. McMahon and I think the target on the executive order

dealing with civil service reform what I want to talk about is the government

reorganization very very briefly when we got into this one of the things we

learned was that it's been almost a hundred years since anybody really

reorganized the government at this type of scale it's been since FDR and his new

deal to where he changed the way the government work and we haven't changed

it very much since then which means we're almost 20% into the 21st century

but we're still dealing with a government that is from the early 20th

century this leads mr. president to some bizarre

results in fact the stories you don't know where to start right now because of

the Byzantine nature of the way that we regulate in this in this in this country

if you have a cheese pizza you make a cheese pizza that is governed by the

United States Department of Agriculture no the other way around I always get

these backwards if you make a cheese pizza it's governed by the Food and Drug

Administration if you put a pepperoni on it that's governed by the USDA if you

have a chicken it's governed by the USDA if that chicken lays an egg it's covered

by the FDA but if you break the egg and make an omelet

that is now by the USDA if you have an open-faced

roast beef sandwich that's one or the other but you put put the bread on top

of it it's the other one a hot dog the hot dog meat is governed

by one you put it in a bun it's governed by another one of my favorites if you

have any saltwater fish you have a salmon and it's in the ocean it's

governed by the Department of Commerce once it swims upriver it's governed by

the Department of Interior and to get there it has to go up a fish ladder

governed by the US Army Corps of Engineers this is stupid

this is just this makes no sense a long time ago when I was 15 years old I

worked in a freezer for a guy that made frozen pizzas right put yourself in that

guy's business and one day he's making cheese pizzas and then the afternoon

he's gonna make pepperoni he's got an entirely different federal agency to

deal with an entirely different process it's not done it just simply doesn't

make sense so we're gonna try and fix it I want to go through a couple of

examples today I got to sort of step aside to go over just one or two a

couple of them that made the press we talked about this later about the

Department of Education and the Department of Labor being merged we

think that makes tremendous sense because what are they both doing they're

doing the same thing they're trying to get people ready for the workforce

sometimes that's education sometimes it's vocational training some

but we're all doing the same thing so why not put them in the same place this

goes back to the work that I think Ivanka did very early on on job training

when we learned that we had in fact we don't even know how many jobs training

programs we have some people think there's 40 some of the others 46 some of

you think is 47 we get it down to 16 and we put it all in one place so that if

you're not happy or the next president is not happy with the way it's going you

don't have right now 16 different people around this table have workforce

training programs in their agencies if something is going wrong you're gonna

come to me and say Nick why aren't you doing around with oh no no that's that's

got through its falta that's that's Betsy DeVos this fall when everybody's

in charge nobody's in charge and we're solving

that by putting ed and labor together and making them responsible and them

you know two things want to talk about to my favorites and examples of how we

think we can improve things everybody Democrats Republicans local

governments state government you me from the private sector have horror stories

about the US Army Corps of Engineers they perform some absolutely critical

functions mr. president there's no doubt about it but over the course of the last

century their role has continued to creep and

creep and creep and we can do better so the proposal today you'll see make some

important changes to the Army Corps of Engineers the thing that has written

stuff there's really defense and there is there's still things that a Army

Corps does that is defense they stay there and they should the things the

Army Corps does it actually help defend the nation will stay where they belong

we'll just ask the Department of Defense but we did with the environment a lot of

what they do deals with the environment they deal with environmental mitigation

and so forth that goes over the Department of the Interior because

you're all really good at that similarly ports deepwater ports our lock system

that's that's not it used to be a military thing a hundred years ago now

it's Elaine Chao at Department of Transportation because it's a

transportation I mean if we think it's a much more efficient layout and it ties

in with what you talked about how about a streamline our permitting process and

goes along with what mr. Xing Keys doing at the DOI to try and centralize so

there's one point of contact you want to get a permit you go to one federal

agency this is going to help that down here we've talked a little bit about

that that one of food safety then right now it's an FDA USDA a couple in places

we've move all that into the USDA why because they're really good at it it's

not to say the FDA isn't but wouldn't it be nice to have one place where people

can go to to get answers to get results to get from them all right

China Just Did One Thing That Means War With The United States - Duration: 3:10.

One of Donald Trump's campaign promises was to stand up to China.

That is one promise he followed through to a tee.

But now China is sick of it, and just did one thing that means war with the United States.

Since being elected, there is perhaps no promise that he took as seriously as standing up to

China.

For many years he has been sounding the alarm about trade deals with China that have ripped

off the United States.

So in the most "America First" fashion possible, President Trump has stopped talking

and made a major threat to slap a ten percent tariff on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods.

To anyone who supports Donald Trump's economic nationalism, this is a great move that undoubtedly

would lead towards both fairer deals and further U.S. manufacturing.

For China, and the anti-Trump crowd it is disastrous.

For China, it will undoubtedly harm their economy, which is the point.

To the anti-Trumpers, they believe it will create immense harm to the U.S. economy because

of increased costs on Chinese goods.

China is so upset about President Trump's threats that they have threatened to retaliate

against Trump for launching what they believe, probably correctly, is a trade war.

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said in a statement on their website that "[t]he United

States has initiated a trade war," before threatening to fight back against President

Trump.

Fighting back against President Trump in a trade war would end badly for China.

China benefits much more heavily from trading with the United States than the United States

does trading with China.

In classic "Art of The Deal" fashion President Donald Trump knows this.

After all, he wrote the go-to book on deals.

One of the central tenets of Trump's book is "using your leverage."

And in this case, President Donald Trump has $200 billion of leverage against China.

That leverage will eventually force China to come to the negotiating table.

This is something that no other President was willing to do.

The most sure-fire way to create more jobs in the United States is to encourage more

manufacturing.

In the past, there wasn't much incentive to manufacture U.S. goods, and China had an

unfair advantage in the market.

It is hard to promote free trade with a country that has an unfair advantage.

That's why President Trump is so supportive of "fair trade," which puts American interests

first.

This is a stark contrast to the strategy by former President Barack Obama, who was fine

with foreign countries having freer trade with the United States than domestic manufacturers,

who were tacked with heavy regulations.

During his eight-year reign, China had it made, while Americans were forced to struggle

for work.

But thankfully Donald Trump was elected President, who believes the exact opposite of Obama and

is making that clear with his policies.

And the fact that the unemployment rate is at near-historic lows shows that Trump's

plans are working.

Do you support President Trump's trade policy with China?

SHAPIRO: STEELE VISITED STATE DEPT BEFORE ELECTION - Duration: 18:54.

galatea government medicine a London cancer patient was forced to crowdfund

raise his own money hundreds of thousands of dollars for a life-saving

drug not available to him under the government-run health care system dr.

Nicole Sapphire is a cancer specialist and she joins us now with moral Mesnick

old so we learned about this guy good morning this guy lives in London he has

a type of cancer his dad died when he was 2 years old the same type of cancer

as a bowel cancer he discovered immunotherapy it was very

very expensive so he decided to raise the money because government over they

are socialized medicine universal health care said we are not paying for this is

that what happened in a nutshell yes so cancer care whether you're in the United

States the UK on the moon it's very expensive there's no getting around that

but the most tangible way that we have to lower the cost is to find better

treatments to not only treat cancer but cure it so we can get people back into

the workforce this gentleman a young guy he had late stage cancer colon cancer as

you mentioned that failed some othera P radiation and he asked he said what

about immunotherapy which is a more novel treatment it's actually turning on

your own cells to fight the cancer and they said well you can request it to the

government it'll take months upon months for a response he didn't have months

upon months he ended up getting a response and they said absolutely not

this is not cost-effective you know this hasn't gone through so

many trials we're not gonna do it and so what he did was he did his own

crowdfunding and he raised the money and paid for it himself and he's doing great

now he's written a book he's doing TED talks when he was just given months to

live well is there if this happens in America if we get socialized medicine or

universal health care could that happen here people will be denied a life-saving

treatment so the UK is known for being very stringent on what it is they're

eating they they don't have a lot of money in their health system in the

United States we have a private market and therefore we have negotiating power

so Scott gottlief who was appointed under President Trump as the director of

the FDA he has recognized this and he has actually put immunotherapy many of

these medications on the accelerated pathway to get them approved he's

cutting a lot of steps saying these are working let's stop wasting our time

let's get these to our American patients they need them and so when it comes to

insurance that doesn't necessarily mean that insurance is going to pay for that

but again it's not the government making unilateral decisions for our patients

here it's the patient the doctor and we have a private system with negotiating

power to get the treatments our patients needs all right the President signed the

right to try Act which helps terminally ill patients get drugs that are not

approved by the FDA he did that in May thanks so much Nicole he being with us

well he is the British spy who put together that anti-trump dossier and we

just learned about a secret meeting that he had with the Obama administration

plus congressman Michael McCaul Newt Gingrich and Dean Cain are all live here

this morning they don't swap out the venue's when they saw the interest and I

was just talking to a legislator that was there last night the aspiring

legislator who wants to win the night district in Minnesota he says there was

a bigger crowd outside there was inside people just wanted to see on the bed on

the flat screens and of course we saw it all here on Fox News Channel and on this

Thursday morning the first day of summer we have a Fox News Alert yep he wasn't

here yesterday but he's here today we're talking about President Trump sounding

an executive order to stop family separations at the border but Democrats

still aren't happy in some respects that's right all of this is House

Republicans get ready to try to tackle immigration today a vote is presumed

going to happen Grif Jenkins joins us live from the border in Hidalgo Texas as

lawmakers are fighting over what comes next gruff

good morning guys President Trump says if your week borders like the one behind

me get overrun if you're strong you have no heart and it was the backlash against

that family separation because the president is doing an about-face signing

that executive order on family separation here's what he had to say

it's about keeping families together while at the same time being sure that

we have a very powerful very strong border and border security will be equal

if not greater than previously now the ball is in Congress's court we're gonna

have two votes today in the house the leadership bill and the conservative

Goodlatte bill it's not clear that either have any support and we had mark

Meadows chairman of the freedom caucus openly fighting with speaker Ryan saying

that the leadership bill wasn't ready for primetime but Democrats meanwhile

aren't supporting either bill and they are lashing out against the president's

executive order Senator Dianne Feinstein of California tweeting that the

executive order I'm sorry this is the statement first my house Melia House

Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi saying the president's order seeks to replace one

form of child abuse with another instead of protecting promised remote eyes

children the president has directed his Attorney General to pave the way for the

long-term incarceration of families in prison like conditions and of course I

apologize I led with Feinstein's tweet where she says this extremely troubling

and she goes on to say that it appears that this is the next step

in the administration's larger agenda to eliminate basic protections for asylum

seekers an important point in the next hour guys I will take you inside the

adult port of entry and show you how you legally seek asylum

do you see that that's a great great job yesterday we'd have a chance to tell you

but that was a wonderful package the border with a Border Patrol agent

so Griff Jenkins had three minutes after the arrow let's expand on this that's

right so Griff was showing us what some of the

Democrats in Congress are suggesting Democrats broadly want families simply

to be released into the United States together while their cases are being

adjudicated and what are they use for money and housing whatever they brought

with them presumably I don't think we give them anything a lien to that

in a package when the President signed that executive order yesterday so saying

that families are not gonna be separated I thought everyone would just be a

wonderful that's great but it hasn't been that way others are now complaining

saying that you have Bernie Sanders who was tweeting saying merely replaces one

inhumane act with another heat because he says being detained indefinitely is

not is not something that is humane marco rubio says don't even use the word

indefinitely he said that is patently false in his tweets he said there is a

hearing they go through the due process and there's a new bill that's on the

table to hire more judges to go and speed up this process but at least the

parents and the kids are back together in a safe place with the new bill it's

got to be passed by congress and we saw mark meadows fighting with paul ryan in

that video that Griff just ran apparently according to the Capitol Hill

sources apparently mark meadows thought there were things for the house freedom

caucus things they wanted in the bill they weren't there and he was a little

upset one other thing that we've been talking about is this all started when

the Attorney General said you know we're gonna go we're gonna have zero tolerance

when it comes to breaking the law zero tolerance aspect continues to this day

it's going to they will prosecute adults who try to come into the country

illegally but what it'll do is they're gonna try

to keep the families together as a unit while it's being adjudicated so they're

as we heard from the judge they're trying to speed things up they're trying

to get more judges and the president has reached out to the Department of Defense

and said could we have some of the facilities in Texas New Mexico and

Arkansas to make this happen all right so the president's state says you know

it's unbelievable that we got to try to pass an immigration reform with

Democrats who in the past we're on the record supporting a lot of the things

that are being imposed right now proposed right now the same people with

just a darker hair president Trump actually tweeted this out don't worry

the Republicans in your president will fix it so he goes at it meanwhile in the

past here are the Democrats including some very familiar faces weighing in our

immigration system is well illegal immigration is wrong plain and simple

all not only in the state's most heavily

affected but in every place in this country are rightly disturbed by the

large numbers of illegal aliens entering our country the people they should be

here are those who come legally we have to send a clear message just because

your child gets across the border that doesn't mean the child gets to stay

right so this is what the White House put out to say do you realize what I'm

dealing with I'm dealing with people who aren't even sincerely answering or

trying to solve a problem because they're on the record agreeing with me

but because I'm president or Republicans are in power they won't President Obama

had back in the day and that's why it wound up in court and that's why we are

where we are what do you mean president because when

President Obama was president that you could not keep a kid incarcerated

essentially in detained for more than 20 days and so that's what President Trump

is saying he said look my intent but my hands are tied this is the what the

judge had said and that's what the judgment of Paula tano said Jeff

Sessions has gone back to that original judge to say could you extend it past

twenty days well it's just interesting that the left supported president exact

president Trump's exact agenda years ago now they have flip-flopped and ben

shapiro says it is just an outcry from the left because they don't want to

agree with anything that this president tries to pass listen the left sort of

ones in both ways they don't want you to be able to keep the kids in prison with

the parents but they also don't want you to separate the parents from the kids

which leaves only one solution of course which is release the parents which is

really what they want out of this entire thing well they're saying all of this

about nazi policy from the right the right is actually attempting to solve

this the democrats want to say that the policy is awful it's evil it's not yes

kits japanese immigrant and in 1942 it's all of those things but we're not gonna

work to solve it because it's all on trump it seems that the left is more

interested in promulgating a particular feeling about this policy than they are

about solving it how successful has been shapiro now he's got a better set and

the Evie's got gel in his hair that's nothing cessful its podcast is

but he's right on the money here again is there any way to win this besides

getting 60 votes and just doing your own thing if you're Republicans there's also

video of Harry Reid pray that saying the outrageousness of

having a lottery system to welcome people into our country that was in

ninth in the 1990s now you can't be saying how outrageous the last system

was meanwhile let's move on to the IG report which the president theorizes is

the reason why everyone's talking about immigration they don't want to talk

about this right yesterday it was revealed during a

Senate Intel committee hearing that apparently Chris Steele Christopher

steel the guy who came up with these Trump dossier he visited the State

Department back in October of 2016 before the election and actually briefed

Obama officials on the dossier and a Victoria Nuland who was a State

Department official said she and other officials there referred the dossier to

the FBI so they took this unverified thing that had been paid for by Hillary

Clinton's campaign and they took that to the FBI and they had keep in mind it's

somebody from the State Department giving it to the FBI she's got a problem

with that well Tom Dupree is a former DOJ official and he says these new

revelations are suggesting that the State Department was more involved than

anyone knew listen to this I thought that the State Department basically said

once we got wind of what was going on with this dossier we passed it off to

law enforcement but what these new revelations suggested that the State

Department is apparently much more involved than any of us knew that they

were having meetings or gettin briefings about the dossier it's very puzzling she

also Victoria Nuland is at the center of this he says listen I don't want

anything to do with that refer to the FBI he goes really because in October

senator Burr Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee who's trying to

keep politics out of the investigation but we never get there results

said I think you were really involved in this goes yeah I intentionally avoided

the meeting that I knew nothing about really so the State Department which

also okayed a meeting for Christopher steel to meet which one of our FBI guys

in Rome was not involved but Christopher steel felt as though he had to brief

them in October the British spy when they put together a dossier of 35 pages

17 sevens 17 separate missives and who's at the center perhaps of the FISA

application process that allowed allow the FBI to follow Papadopoulos and

tap into quarter page maybe we're getting closer to figuring this whole

thing out which someone would be honest would save us a lot of money in time

great let's hand it over to Gillian about some more headlines for us hey

Gillian good morning let's get you caught up on some of your news of the

day starting with this millions of people are under the threat of severe

weather as flash flooding wreaks havoc in Pennsylvania oh my god

I cannot even believe this right now neither can I credible video showing a

car being swept away outside Pittsburgh look at that in the Midwest tornadoes

touching down several twisters reported in Iowa more storms are on the way today

a high Curtis found dead killed by an aggressive bear in the woods police

finding the body of Michael Psaltis in Anchorage Alaska

the gruesome discovery coming moments after that same bear attacked a

volunteer who was looking for solace police think it was protecting the dead

body the volunteer is expected to survive the bear is still on the loose

well he joined us on the couch a few months back and now big news for actor

Dennis Quaid he said to play Ronald Reagan in a new biopic it will explore

the president's life from boyhood through his presidency filmmakers met

with 50 of Reagan's friends confidants and cabinet members even the surgeon who

saved his life after he was shot let's look at your headlines that's I think

he's gonna have to peg his voice gotta get a little voice yeah that would be

the hardest thing and his mannerism to be able to do it he's an actor yep and a

good one all right he was great in frequency that's what he's he won me at

frequencies the first time that movie he came into this studio to talk to his

buddies one you at frequency not at hello yes all right

meanwhile straight ahead Ken the House of Representatives get an immigration

bill passed through their chamber later today we're going to talk to congressman

Mike McCaul from Texas he's new and it's the most American prom touch he'll ever

saw and it could score the student $10,000

we'll explain because we have time it's in the prompter

all right get ready House Republicans are set to tackle immigration on the

floor today after the President signed an executive order stopping family

separations at the border yesterday but will lawmakers actually be able to come

to an agreement well they say there's no rush not the president sign that

executive order joining us right now is the latest that the chairman of Homeland

Security has been with the president quite often congressman Michael McCaul

of Texas congressman I understand first off there's a fear that there won't be a

feeling of urgency now the President signed the executive order allowing

families to get back together are you worried about that - well no I Brian I

applaud the president signing that but that's a temporary sort of band-aid and

measure what we need to do is close legal loopholes and provide a legal

permanent fix and that's what our the goal at McCall bill does we have a

permanent fix so that when they come into the country they're detained and

removed and this is this one thing that the secretary has been very strong about

we've melt the Attorney General yesterday and the president says he's a

thousand percent behind this bill so when people cross they could be the best

people or the worst people they are going to be either asylum seekers or the

people looking across here illegally your knew no tolerance the the to no

tolerance is you're just getting on buses and going back well if you come

from Mexico you're detained and removed from the country

if you come from Central America you're treated differently our bill treats them

the same so we detained them we don't split the family up like it's currently

done we keep the family together and then we remove them from the country now

they do could have an asylum claim but we change that standard so it's more

difficult than just saying the magic words credible fear of persecution

understood and then we had some type of DNA so we need to make sure these are

actually related to these people so there's two bills are gonna make their

way through the house can you give me the the quick version of what they are

you got the Goodlatte McCall bill and there's another one which we could call

the president's bill that he says I'll support both but this is the more

moderate one likely to get through so tell me about the compromise which is

known as the president's bill well they're both very similar instance

they have my border security bill with 25 billion dollars of funding for the

president's wall it has the four pillars that we talked about and that also be

the Visa Lottery elimination chain migration and a daca fix it's just

slightly different on the docket piece where they're giving merit-based visa

they can apply for but also any immigrant can't apply for so I expect

majority Republicans or gonna vote for this bill and we'll get unfortunately no

Democrats supporting this even though we have a doc it's to it so what time will

the vote be and what order will they be voted on now LDS charities that I

probably got one o'clock on the first bill probably bout three o'clock on the

second bill and you know I know it's not your division but when it goes to the

Senate is there any hope there you know I would hope they would just do way with

their parliamentary procedure and get to a simple majority vote of 51 if they did

that they could pass the bill that hopefully we're gonna pass today and

real quick is that any democrat talk to you about solving this problem no I

think they are completely interested in making this a campaign issue and even

though the president resolved if the family a separation issue on a temporary

basis they condemn them for that I don't think they have any interest in working

constructively with us but rather use this in the 2018 midterm elections yeah

Senator Schumer says has too many poison pill writers chairman McCaul thanks so

much thank you Brian all right meanwhile straight ahead the media claimed this

ice agents tattoo was a Nazi symbol but it's actually his Afghanistan platoon

symbol Johnny Joey Jones met that agent after losing his legs in Afghanistan he

got a message he's going to get a message that everyone needs to hear it's

coming up plus Newt Gingrich

China Just Did One Thing That Means War With The United States - Duration: 11:48.

China Just Did One Thing That Means War With The United States

Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Turkey announces retaliatory tariffs on US goods - Duration: 0:40.

Turkey announced Thursday it's imposing retaliatory tariffs worth $267 million on U.S. goods.

The tariffs are in response to the Trump administration imposing tariffs on steel and aluminum in

March.

According to CNN, Turkey's targeting U.S. imports such as coal, paper, walnuts, tobacco,

rice, whiskey and cars.

Turkey's economy minister said the country tried to negotiate with the U.S. but that

talks failed.

The retaliatory tariffs come on the heels of the European Union's announcement Wednesday

that it will slap billions of dollars in tariffs on U.S. goods beginning Friday.
