"How To Use YouTube To Become An Authority And Build A Business". In other

words, position myself as an authority and dominate your niche! Before we do so,

going to highlight the 3 strategies that enables business owners to leverage

the power of YouTube to dominate their niche. And if this is the first time you

become an authority in your niche? In simple terms it involves: 1. Following a

simple system; 2. Applying some discipline; and 3. Reaping the rewards. In

short-term gains you can make to ranking videos, generating views and so on. In

this video the first thing to understand that building an authority in any

business niche is a long term process, and leveraging the power of YouTube and

video requires building a YouTube channel

that offers tremendous value to its subscribers and viewers. Why is building

an authority so important as a business owner? Because you have to create the

content that provides and adds value for the viewer, that solves a problem for

them, that they are willing to pay you money for. That means you have to engage with

people via video, and what better platform to engage with people than

YouTube? Why video? Because people are lazy! They would much rather watch a

video than read an article. Why YouTube? It's the second largest search engine in

the world, and it's owned by the largest search engine in the world -

Google! Also, YouTube is more than a search engine - it's

also a social media site, where people engage with one another. And, the lifespan

of your video far exceeds any other social media posts. Now do you see how

powerful YouTube and video are for your business? So the 3 strategies to

building an online business authority are: 1. Boosting your ranking i.e. videos,

playlists and channel, and your authority; 2. Maintain your

ranking i.e. videos, playlists and channel; and 3. Cement your

authority. So going back to number 1. - boosting your ranking and authority.

There are steps you could take on a weekly and on a monthly basis. For

example:- (1) Produce and upload at least one video to YouTube each week; (2) Embed

your videos in blog posts - your blog posts and other peoples' blog posts. (3)

Join niche-specific Facebook groups and provide helpful answers to questions

posed by other members. 2. Maintain your ranking and authority. Again, some simple,

but very effective steps to take are:- (1) Post on the social media platforms

that are relevant to your target audience; (2) Re-post and re-position

existing content. For example, use the closed captions/

subtitles from your videos to be re-used in blog posts and articles, or as

stories. 3. Cement your authority. Once you've got into a routine of producing and

ranking videos that subsequently boosts the ranking and authority of your

playlists and channel, and then started driving traffic i.e. viewers, to your

channel via the social media platforms, you can then start cementing your

authority by: (1) Presenting webinars either by yourself or in collaboration

with others in your niche; (2) Start your own Facebook group; (3) Giving talks

such as public speaking, podcasting, workshops etc; (4) Writing a book to be

listed on Amazon; (5) Having articles published in magazines and other types

of periodicals; and (6)by producing your own digital products. Summing up then, becoming

an authority in your niche is not as difficult as it may first

appear. Bear in mind that nobody else sees things the way you do. Nobody else has

the same experiences as you do. This is what makes you and your business so

unique. Whilst you may operate in a niche where there are lots of similar

businesses, none of them will be able to offer valuable information that you can

provide because you have a slightly different take on something compared to

everyone else. There are other aspects that will help build your authority such

as the way you present yourself on film, on stage, in workshops etc Some refer to

this is building your brand. Whatever way you look at it, you are making a

statement which boils down to you being the person that others go to

because you provide the content that gives value to them, that solves a problem for

them, that they are willing to pay you money for. These 3 strategies will

work in whatever niche you're in, and the key to building your authority is to

be consistent. Consistently post value-added videos; consistently engage

on the social media platforms; and consistently discipline yourself to

committing to building your online business. And that is how to use YouTube

have you ever been on a road trip what's the first thing you do if you don't know

where you're going you usually find a map and that's what today's tip is all

about hi I'm Natasha Mitchell owner of inspire and drive and today's tip is

number 26 and it's all about creating a road map to reach your goals in the last

few videos I've been talking about creating plans I've been talking about

setting goals and today is all about creating that big-picture roadmap of how

you're going to achieve all of that the thing about going on a road trip is that

it's not always about taking the fastest the fastest route to get there sometimes

you're interested in stopping and seeing some scenery along the way sometimes you

want to take your time getting to the end destination you're not on a specific

timeline and sometimes it's just more about enjoying the journey so that road

map that you have is going to take into consideration all the things that you

want to do along the way not just what's the shortest route to get there and that

and the same is very much true when you're running your business sometimes

we're in such a rush to get that money that clients that we end up not having

fun and that is a big reason that I see business owners getting burnt out maxed

out and absolutely exhausted they're just not having fun so if that feels a

little bit like what's happening in your business I suggest that you take a step

back start with your goals start to look at those plans and more importantly have a look

at the big picture roadmap to make sure that the journey you're on is the one

you want to be on and is on the route that you really want to take that's most
