I moved out of a small town
because I was trying to find more,
I was trying to find an adventure,
I was trying to find...
yeah, I was trying to find myself.
When I got the job, I called my dad
and was kind of embarrassed to tell him,
"I found a job at McDonald's!"
People say that there's not really a future for you
at McDonald's.
There's no ladder to climb.
I say that's... wrong.
I say that people who think there's no future at McDonald's
have never worked at McDonald's.
They want to see you grow,
as a person and an employee,
and I think that's important.
You just learn so much about yourself,
and you realize you are more capable of anything
than you originally thought that you were.
The girl that left the small town
was afraid of everything.
And the woman that I am now is...
strong and...
not afraid to take chances.
I feel like everyone that I work with believes in me
and wants me to succeed in everything that I do.
