stories. in this video I'm going to show you California substyle in American
retro so let's go
ok so right now I'm going to show you how I transfer from
Normandy style to California style. well actually one of the most profitable
styles, so right now let's switch to the American retro and let's start from the
California flooring. it's all in tiles. it actually reminds me of 1950s -60s I guess
this was the time for such interior design and I also want to pay attention
to the windows because they are so asymmetric in different rectangles
besides we have the menu and as you see right here it has the same tiles as the
windows and it works like a puzzle I think.
also let's go and see what we have
among the stands, because this is the most widely used item, and right
now I'm going to switch them all and come back to you a little later
now I have replaced every stand and it actually looks like a radio wave,
a huge one which is honestly so funny to me
we have the bar counters left and I also want to
take a look at them. I really love it how they use legs for the furniture in
American retro, as you see right here and here as well. and now let's look at the chairs.
chairs are ok actually they match the bar counters, nothing special about
them, and we also have a service table , and it actually better matches the bar
counter now it is a little bit far away from all the hustle, so I will just
place it just where it used to be. do you think it looks fine? ok I have to remove
the ice-cream from here because everyone is still sitting, they are not in the way
ok tables for two and tables for four: let's take a look at them. they also have those
skinny legs, I would say they're skinny it is actually from the 60ies
and the main colors are brown, blue, beige, yellow, greenish, so actually it's a very
good job of our interior designer I would say. why do you think? all in all,
these tables look really nice. by the way, write it in the comments
whether you would like to visit a cafe in such interior style, or you would opt
for something more modern, what atmosphere would be there in the cafe?
oh yeah, as for the atmosphere I have almost forgotten! we are going to
the simple items, and I definitely want to place the retro style jukebox, looks so
wonderful! also we have some very strange items, actually the centerpieces,
lava lamps look very strange. I don't think they should actually be placed on
the tables, however we need more tips and, okay. and we also have that lava lamp
which can stand on the floor actually. yeah, it's in the beginning of American
retro, here it is. you can place up to 10 of such lava lamps here, so I will
probably place it just in the middle. let's make an accent on it. okay, let's go
down and we have that California couch, so beautiful! I would just lie there
forever. we also have that clock - just one piece of that, we don't have any options
to place more of them. and we also have those vases of flowers, we also have
those legs, and they have red pots, and I think I have forgotten something.. I still
have those topping shelves left, so I'll probably just finish placing the vases
of flowers. I don't think we need a lot of them though we definitely need those
palm trees in California. one of the trickiest things is to place the topping
shelves, always, in any style. because sub styles are so much different from the
original styles so I would say that the topping shelves actually look okay here,
together with those pots they look alright. I would also place those vases
of flowers near the windows, so this is what we have here. and we have those
floor lamps actually they remind me of some space
explorations, maybe it's the starship or it's a rocket, and we also have those
California sconces, which actually are absolutely different from the lamps. it's
not often that we see it in different styles, guys, but actually I love it.

California Is Complaining About This New Immigration Tactic
Earlier this week, President Trump proposed a new question to add in the 2020 census form.
The question is sparking controversy as it involves questioning one's citizenship.
Now, the blue-dominated state of California is whining over this new tactic–and is going
so far as to sue.
The Trump administration vowed to include the question of whether someone was a citizen
or not on the 2020 census.
California rebutted with their decision to sue the administration.
The Attorney General, Xavier Becerra, announced the suit against the government, claiming
the question was "unlawful."
Attorney General Becerra tweeted the decision:
Fox News reported:
The Commerce Department said in a statement that the citizenship question would be added
in response to a request by the Justice Department made in December.
The statement said that Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross "has determined that reinstatement
of a citizenship question on the 2020 decennial census questionnaire is necessary to provide
complete and accurate census block level data."
Democrats have criticized the administration's announcement, saying the inclusion of such
a question amounts to an effort to intimidate immigrant communities and siphon money and
electoral power away from them.
In a San Francisco Chronicle opinion piece published Monday, Becerra and California Secretary
of State Alex Padilla wrote that the inclusion of a citizenship question would be "illegal"
and "an extraordinary attempt by the Trump administration to hijack the 2020 census for
political purposes."
"California, with its large immigrant communities, would be disproportionately harmed by depressed
participation in the 2020 census," they wrote.
"An undercount would threaten at least one of California's seats in the House of Representatives
(and, by extension, an elector in the electoral college.)"
It is likely the disapproval of the question stems from California's lost sanctuary city
policies.
Since the decennial census is required by Constitution to determine federal spending,
California's loss of funding would be devastating to the massive state.

implication for for the faith community and I think maybe this bears a little
bit of explanation is Christians do believe in they believe in spiritual

Snider with Pacific Justice Institute Center for Public Policy where I serve
as chief counsel. I address briefly the legal discussion in the bills analysis
this bill differs significantly from the law banning sexual orientation change
efforts or SOCE for those under 18. Two cases challenged that law under free
speech and free exercise of religion in Picket vs Brown and in Welch
vs Brown the court held that a prohibition on SOCE for persons under 18
survived these challenges because the law was narrowly focused on a regulation
of professional conduct but the Ninth Circuit found that even licensed
professionals could communicate with the public about SOCE. In contrast this bill
prohibits SOCE advertisements by all persons. Further, the court found that licensed professionals
could continue to recommend SOCE to patients and could administer SOCE to
adults and refer minors to unlicensed counselors or religious leaders
yet under this bill all of those First Amendment rights are
swept away. AB-2943 is not a regulation of Professional Conduct it appears under
the consumer fraud statutes rather the business rather than the business and
Professions Code. Unlike the previous law this bill stretches far beyond license
and mental health professionals. It reaches religious ministries engaged in
SOCE if there is an exchange of money for example paying for a religious
retreat a workbook or a seminar. I direct your attention to what this looks like
in an in another state two months ago a church put on a seminar that dealt with
this very issue this happened in Michigan five state lawmakers urged the
Attorney General to investigate and file an injunction against the church for
for violating the Michigan Consumer Protections Act. Mr. Chairman I
urge that the members of this body cast a no vote and I thank you for your
deliberation and for your service to the community. You know the language of the
bill I said I'd like to work on certainly tightening that to make sure
it doesn't infringe upon legitimate practices of our faith and not just
Christian faith but Muslims people of many different faiths have
beliefs that we in this body may not share a majority and this body may
not share but do we want to start down a path. I know I have a colleague who says
I hate slippery slope arguments but there's a reasonwhy we've coined the
phrase slippery slope arguments because once you start down a path other things
could come up
