Auto news on Youtube Dec 28 2017

hey what is up guys my name is Rosa and today I'll be showing you how to build a

secret base now this situation the entire design of the base and not just

how to hide the entrance like many tutorials of this kind so without any

further ado let's get right into building it now for the first portion of

this tutorial I'll show you how to make a quick secret doorway which uses a

hidden pressure plate with a bow and arrow so the first thing we will need to

do is find a corner off of a hill or mountain side so once you find yourself

a corner we'll begin by removing two blocks at the side and then suit blocks

behind the corner then place in a pressure plate behind the corner and

remove another four blocks behind this next remove a block behind the pressure

plate and place in a redstone torch now place a block over this torch and add a

piece of redstone on top of it also remove two more blocks at the back right

and placing two sticky pistons at this spot and then add dirt or stone on the

pistons depending on your terrain on the outside now to get inside we will need

to grab a bow and arrow so aim at the bottom corner of the block attached to

the lower piston and then the door will open up simply go inside after we shoot

and the door will stay open until we leave the pressure plate now that we

have a secret entrance we can now start designing the base so go inside and at

the end of the pressure plate start staring out a small walkway that goes at

least five blocks into the hillside

at the end of the walkway we will now claro a 13 by 13 square with a height of

4 blocks for the base I'm not going to show me clearing out this entire area as

removing block should be self-explanatory and take only a few

minute once this 13 by 13 area is cleared out we will then add quartz

pillar blocks at each of the corners

then we will add these pillars at the center of the left and right walls

also place pillars on both sides of the entrance and then add these at the back

wall as well now we'll connect these pillars up by placing fourth pillar

blocks around the top layer next add three quarts pillar blocks at the top of

the center of each wall then we'll form a five by five square of quartz blocks

on the ceiling at the ends of the pillars we just added

next place AC lantern or any light source block at the center of the square

and surround it with leaves then we will fill in the four remaining sections of

the ceiling with trapdoors next up we will add a border of leaves around the

edge of the bottom layer

then we'll knock out two layers of stone above the back of the leaf blocks also

for the right and left sides remove an additional layer of stone above these

gaps

now place inside lanterns or glowstone along this top layer that we just made

then at the right and left sides we will place in four double chests in each of

the gaps next place two ports there's at the remaining space between the chests

now for the remaining gaps of the front and back walls we will add in furnaces

lastly for these walls we will add a quartz there above the entrance way and

at the back as well and then we can add a crafting table and ender chest at the

back gap here if you would like next we will add a staircase down to a second

layer so we'll begin by clearing a 5x5 square at the center of the floor that

is four blocks deep

now we'll add quartz blocks along the right and left edge of this gap and then

add upside down quartz tears along the back edge now add black stained glass

panes along the top of the quartz for a railing then at the front edge we will

add a quart staircase down to the bottom layer once we are down here we can start

clearing a 13 by 13 area that matches the top floor although only make it

three blocks high this time once the bottom floor is cleared out we will

start by extending quartz pillars down from the corners of the quartz that is

on the ceiling

now come around to the back of the staircase and fill in the back with

quartz blocks up to the quartz pillars then fill in the space between the

pillars with bookshelves and now turn around and add five columns of

bookshelves at the center of the back wall and then we can place an

enchantment table at the center of these bookshelves now come over to the front

up the stairs and add quartz pillars up against the wall that align up with the

pillars here next ed upside down quartz tears at the top between the pillars and

also two stairs at the front of the pillars then replace the stone on the

floor and wall between this quartz with gray wall

now place three beds on the wool floor and add five carpets in front of them

next we will add coarse pillars to each of the corners and also add two more of

these pillars at the center of the right and left sides

now go around the outer edge and clear all a layer of stone blocks on the floor

then add C lanterns are glowstone in the gaps we cleared out next add leaves on

top of light source we just added also at the sides of the staircase we will

add the same design of C lanterns and leaves lastly we will add trapdoors

along the walls to cover up the stone blocks and then that will finish up the

secret base

but that is going to be all for the secret base tutorial I hope you guys

enjoyed and thank you so much for watching if you want to see more designs

of hidden underground bases be sure to let me know and dropping it like and

I'll definitely be willing to do more but with that being said I hope to see

you guys in the next video better guys bye bye

Networking to Build a Team, What's That? - Duration: 5:00.

Good morning, good morning, good morning. I'm outside so it must be a networking

Thursday. It's freezing outside. Well maybe not freezing but close to

freezing. I think the high's like 40 today, my wife told me. So I'm getting

all set up on social media here. Alright so I got that all set up now. I

like to, I like to come outside for when I talk about networking because I have a

mentor that has a saying that says, you got to get out the house. And that's what

networking is all about. Business networking is all about getting out of

the house. You've got to get out and talk to people. You've got to mingle with

people. You've got to rub shoulders with people. You got to share your elevator

pitch. You got to, you got to talk to people. You got to get out the house. And

so I like to get out of the office and stand here on the patio and freeze my

hiney off so I can I can make a point this morning. And as we're talking about

network marketing, I had a fantastic conversation with the the CEO and

president of the northeast Tarrant County Chamber, one of the chambers in my

local area that I just began going to. And we had a great conversation

yesterday. We talked for about 15 minutes. Wasn't really intending on it but we had

a great conversation. We were talking about networking and particularly we

were talking about building a team. And I think that's one of the biggest mistakes

that new business networkers make is that they don't have a team mindset. They

maybe come from a business, a large organization, that they were on a team or

they led a team but they don't translate that into being

an entrepreneur and how that works. And so maybe they're a solopreneur. Maybe

they're the only one in their business right now and they don't have a team. And

you go and let's say, let's say you're a, you got a car washing business and it's

just you and you go to cars and you wash them. And you've got a friend that

has is a high-end oil change business where

he does high-end cars. Maybe you know European cars, something like that, German

engineered cars and you meet them at a networking event. You're like hey that's

cool man and we can talk car stuff because we're both like cars. That's

great but you never put together that hey maybe that's a potential person that

could be on your team. And what you have to do and what I want to encourage you

to do when you are at a networking event is look for people that you can

collaborate with and put a win-win proposition together. So what does that

mean? What does that look like? Well a win-win proposition for the car washing

guy, the on-demand car washing guy and the high-end oil change guy would be

that the oil change guy says, hey I want to offer free car washes to all of

my people after they get oil change and I want that to be signature

and I want it to be high-end. I want it to be nice. I want it to be a good car wash. And

you say well let's make that happen. Maybe you charge $40 for a car wash

because it's really nice, it's detailed but at cost you can do it for $20. And

your oil change guy, the guy that works on German cars he says I could pay

you $20 bucks. I can factor that into my cost and I want to add that and have it

be a bonus. And you come here on-site and you wash the cars

and I'll line up, like you know you'll have a steady stream of ten a day or

something like that, that you can wash. So you're making money. You're breaking even

but you're also gaining new customers because they only need an oil change

maybe once every three months but they need a carwash every week. And I'm

starting to shiver out here. It's so cold. They need a carwash every weekend so you

just put together a win-win proposition where he's happy because he's able to

offer greater service for his people and you're happy because you have steady

business and opportunity for more business. And that's what I want you to

think about in this new year in 2018. I want you to be thinking about what's a

win-win proposition? What, who is someone in this room that I could connect with

and I could put together a win-win proposition? Collaborate on something we

could both gain more business and more exposure and take advantage of building

a team in our business networking events? Alright I'm gonna end it there because

I'm freezing. But really I want you to be thinking about this in 2018

because this is huge and could be huge for your business. Alright I love you

guys. I care about you. I want to see your business succeed. Please like, subscribe,

comment below and tell me where you're struggling in your business

networking. I'd love to help. Alright bye.

Let's Build A Prison -- Prison Architect -- Episode 1 -- Briscarben - Duration: 23:21.

hello my fellow architects um my name is Nick today we're going to play in prison

architect and we're gonna be building our very first and medium-sized prison

um what we're gonna do today is we're gonna be doing it for a male population

with the standard warden I don't really feel like playing with the rest of the

other wardens maybe we can do that another playthrough today our settings

are gonna be the fog of war just because I like that we have to be a little more

cautious and pay more attention to our inmates for us to think are important

I'm not a big fan of dealing with lakes or other trees so what we're gonna do is

we're gonna include the failure conditions gangs events whether staff

needs and we're gonna ignore the rest so let's go ahead jump on in alright guys

so this is gonna be what we're gonna be working with today um so let's go ahead

and accept our let's get rid of the CEO let it real quick just because I don't

really feel like dealing with it so we're gonna do the basic detention

center which is maybe the holding settle shower yard kitchen canteen two guards

and two cooks as well as the administration center which is going to

be two offices a warden at an accountant so both of which are super easy but they

give us a huge amount of bonus profits so let's go ahead get those going and

then what we'll do is we'll go ahead build a foundation let's say 30 by 30

should be more than enough to get what we want

so 30 by 30 so we get that working well that's there let's go ahead toss in our

door all right speed everything up - while

we're at it let's go ahead and hire no I didn't mean to do that

whoopsie did not really intend on firing those two guys let's go ahead hire a

bunch more in require two cooks so that when we have that all ready let's speed

everything up get them working as you can see we've got 21 hours until on

inmates come in so look at these guys working and then we're gonna start

creating all of the necessary things that we're going to need to get these in

my inmates where they belong please pick the breakwall setup

all right so buildings ready let's go ahead build reception so reception is

going to be over here let's go ahead and put the power stuff down in here build

our capacitors put this in alright so while that's in there we're also going

these cables pretty I like doing this before we open up any walls just so that

we don't have to deal with it later while we're at it can I fit this in here

I can so we'll go ahead and put that in there I'll also put the whole deal with

that in a minute so let's go ahead pipe work running just so that way too

all right so the pipes are here one thing about it the capacity is kind of

high volume analysis cost a couple more in all right now we can start building

the walls so we'll leave a door right here okay we'll leave a two-spot door up

there what we'll do is we'll also let's go ahead put that in then I'll put a

staff door up here and here so that when no one else can go in so this is gonna

be reception cool so up here let's go ahead think um so we need to get another

couple things put in here when you get a holding cell a shower and so and so

forth but all right for the moment let's just go ahead plan a wall up there so

all right so what we'll do is we'll make the offices right here boom and then in

here what we'll do is we'll have a staff room so that way our staff have places

to be let's go ahead let's let's hire our wait so now we've got him we want to

put our offices over here all right put the staff room right here all right

excellent so while we're thinking about it we need to get an office chair desk

and filing cabinet let's take a look in our eye item spot up here see where we

can find any of that it's not typing chair put that there

all right office desk which way is that basic

go ahead put Tim down here back down there as well let's get the cabinet make

sure we face another direction all right and that should be enough for

that right now for the staff room we need a wide sofa and a drink machine and

we'll get a white a couple white sofas for everyone all right so now the staff

room and all that's done now we can start actually building the walls around

everything excellent right okay so now we have all of that done and ready so

what we'll do now is we've still got 19 hours until everyone else comes in so

let's go ahead and start planning the cells so it needs to be at least 3 by 2

will actually start building them that we have them because I think we need we

need 8 cells I don't mean to be very big

all right so we need to put it into a pail door we also need to put in a bed

one need to make sure that we name them

all right so we got then now we need to get them like toilets

boom alright so that's done let's check reception what else this desk chair

all right so we got the table

put chairs on the edge office desk

that way they can sit down alright what are you so that looks like it needs the

canteen at some point

oh wow all right excellent so seems as though I wasn't paying attention and we

already have our our inmates so what I need to quickly do is I need to hire in

a few more guards because I don't have the staff necessary to deal with them so

let's go ahead and do the quick bill we'll duplicate all of this stuff

all right and that should make it nice and simple to do this so that's working

which is good so now we have enough for all of those guys what I'm going to do

is I'm actually going to stop intake because right now we cannot afford to

take on any more prisoners from what we already have all right so we've got

alright so the prisoners all have a cell which is good now we need to start

thinking about what else do we need to accomplish so we need it

let's get finance working so he'll start researching that that we can get our

accountant in what we need now is we're going to need a canteen in a kitchen so

let's go ahead and I'll just put the kitchen in here we'll do the canteen

just below it alright

serving tables and benches

all right so now we've got stuff for our people actually sit down and eat

you've got the sink let's get two or three players just so

that way they have all the supplies they're gonna get that in there

all right and accidentally put in an egg cooker wax at the time big deal all

right all right so the walls are being built let's get a staff door put a jail

door up here all right utilities one although we got going on here we're

gonna get the electric up to these guys so that's in there no need to get water

line realize that we're not actually connecting some water

there we go all right so now the water is connected all that's coming together

things are looking pretty good okay so we have it incident report let's slow

things down for a few seconds so we have a family waiting to visit I don't really

care about them we have prisoners up for parole all right so there's still a lot

of things we need to accomplish

all right so that's got water all right so let's make this area

let's make this the yard and I'll come into the yard to hang out we'll make

down here hold up all right now we're now we're starting

to actually get somewhere so that's the holding cell in there

I don't know why the cooker

alright guys so I understand that I'm taking a little longer than I intended

to do

I messed up I meant to do

things let's go ahead malas these walls build them up here

that there

all right so now we've got our chart and actually get things the way it

let's put the toilets up here this planning stuff will do come here VP

everybody wait benches is that way they can actually start doing stuff all right

so that's up there let's go ahead and put a shower over here

then we're gonna want to get showered let's put greens in showerheads alright

I should be more than enough for everybody the prisoners are getting fed

I might have to make a bigger canteen soon but we'll deal with that in a

little while all right lads it's all coming together so we have seven out of

eight prisoners we just need to hire accountants

exceeds daily budget okay so let's see here what do we need to do now

let's remove two of our staff members so that way we can actually get our

accountant boom all right so that's done so we've finished up both of our grants

so let's start thinking about what we're gonna do for the next couple rounds for

grants so the cell block a what are you raise my prisoner capacity to 15 okay

that seems pretty simple let's go ahead do that all right there's a maintenance

presentation right

okay so we're going to the staff well-being just because that seems

pretty straightforward boom nailed it so that's already done

investments are so very tempting yet not very useful for us so we'll deal with

the grants and a little bit but right now let's just focus on getting our

showers up and running we will direct way to divvy alright so that's done

let's go ahead duplicate some more of these

all right so we're gonna duplicate this

well alright excellent so that worked out pretty good so we're gonna go ahead

and continue up this cellblock

mmm I think I messed up on this one over here

all right so we're gonna have to fight with that top row I think I missed that

out we'll wait and see how that turns out

to build a medical ward soon so that we can start taking care of it and I think

on the next episode what we're gonna do is kind of expand up north and I think

we'll make that into the medical ward area I'm gonna try and make this into my

low security prisoners I was thinking about putting like a maximum award over

here maybe we can do is put the rest of the media more down here and expand down

here for all of our administration stuff so right now we're doing pretty good

we're at 52 thousand dollars so we got prisoners up for release Oh edge we're

almost up to the capacity that we want it to get up to while we're thinking

about it let's just go ahead fill all the water lines up perused here what

we'll do is we'll destroy the rest of this cell a little bit just so that we

can make sure that we get everything taken care of you need to hire some

ground bar that the floors are getting pretty close

okay so let's go ahead dismantle

dismantle his bed all right so once those guys do all that and we'll be in

good shape check out the daily cash flow

all right so that's all taken care of let's go ahead dismantle as well

we'll do is we just get rid of these and then we will go ahead bill with the

correct way

all right so all of that stomachs go ahead with the bed we're long toilet

worth long jail cell where our supply is still looking pretty good and we're

losing too much power to that stuff

I think now we should have boom nailed it we have our grand alright guys well I

think that should be it for this episode I will see you tomorrow for the next

round of prison architect like I said right now we have everything basic that

we need our next step is I think we're gonna expand out this way making the

medical ward as well as all of our trade skills so we can get our prisoners

rehabilitate it and back on the streets until next time guys

'Do want to build a snowman?' NASA photo reveals Christmas surprise on asteroid - Duration: 4:28.

'Do want to build a snowman?' NASA photo reveals Christmas surprise on asteroid

The Christmassy photo was shared by NASA this week was captured by the Dawn spacecraft in 2011.

In a nod to the film Frozen, NASA tweeted alongside the photo: "Do you want to build a snowman? "Three well-placed impacts stacked this one on the surface of a giant asteroid." As asteroids fly through space they often collide with other objects, leaving them with craters of various shapes and sizes.

In a rare phenomenon the "snowman" imprinted on this asteroids surface.

The three circles are pictured on the surface of the asteroid, one on top of another and vary in size like a real snowman with the largest on the bottom and smallest on top.

The Dawn space mission blasted off in 2007 and orbited the giant protoplanet Vesta from 2011-2012. The spacecraft is now exploring the dwarf planet Ceres.

This is not the first time the space agency has revealed other novel images that appear to show recognisable objects on other worlds - such as smiley faces.

An image captured in 2015 by NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter - which has been in orbit around the planet since 10 March 2006 - revealed a face-like feature at one of the monitoring sites on the South Pole of the red planet.

This is a region where carbon dioxide ice can be seen shifting throughout the year as the Martian climate changes. The face even appears to have a nose and upturned mouth that looks like a smile.

NASA even had a spooky encounter with a meteorite that resembled a skull. The asteroid TB145 first passed the planet on Halloween 2015 will return next year with some social media users fearful it could destroy a city or cause a tsunami.

One Reddit user said: "I assume it would wipe out any city it happened to hit.

If it were to hit, there is a 71 per cent chance it will hit water. A tsunami would be the biggest concern. While another warned of an 8km "fireball" and a magnitude seven earthquake.

Despite the dire warnings from online stargazers experts are less concerned, they point out that the deathly space rock will pass at a much greater distance when it makes its comeback in November 2018.

TB145, which resembles a skull in some images, passed at a distance of 486,000km away – 1.3 times the distance to the Moon, but on its return visit it will hurtle past at 105 further away than our Moon.
