The Prophet ﷺ was once seated - was once with the sahabah

and the sahabah began a discussion.

About the dunya and the akhirah.

What is the dunya? What is the akhirah?

So some of the sahabah said that the dunya is a بلاغ

It's a conduit, it's a carriage to the akhirah

So it gives us an opportunity in the world to pray, to do good

whereby we can reach the akhirah and Jannah

So the other sahabah they said 'no'. They spoke only of the akhirah

The discussion was about the good of the dunya, about the good of the world.

So some of the sahabah said the dunya is a بلاغ It's a conduit, it's a passage

It's a means of reaching Jannah and the akhirah.

So in a way they were praising the dunya, but only in religious terms and

the other sahabah spoke only of the akhirah, not of the dunya

So when the Prophet ﷺ heard them,

the Prophet ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you the position of the dunya in relation to the akhirah?

The position of the dunya, of the world, in relation to the life thereafter, in relation to the second life

is as if if one of you..." The Prophet ﷺ said, "If one of you was to walk to the - was to go to the ocean

and dip in his finger and remove it the amount of water that is reduced from the ocean,

that is the relevance of the dunya in comparison to the ocean of the akhirah."

And that was in the context of good, not in the context of the world and the love of the world

but in the context of the Sahaba discussing the world being a good opportunity and a

conduit and a carriage to reaching Jannah and granting us an opportunity to do good in the world.

Even about that the Prophet ﷺ said, "The world is equivalent to the amount of water that is reduced

when one extracts one's dipped finger from the ocean in contrast to the ocean itself."

So our purpose is not the world it is the akhirah and that's why Allah says in that question

which ultimately is for the hereafter, it will be a question raised in the akhirah but it's relevant for us here now;

{ أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ أَنَّمَا خَلَقْنَاكُمْ عَبَثًا وَأَنَّكُمْ إِلَيْنَا لَا تُرْجَعُونَ } 115 Surah 23 : Verse

"What do you think that you have been created in vain and that you will not be returned to us?"

Everything is about us returning to Allah

What If The Purge Was Real In America For 24Hrs - Duration: 4:51.

Hey guys, I'm Court McGinley and welcome back to the most amazing top 5.

Let's jump right into our list of What if the Purge was real in America for 24 hours.

Alright, let's start off with--Double the time- well for one thing the purge is supposed

to only last for 12 hours so if it lasted 24 hours that would make it double the time

which means it would probably cause double the damage- and double the number of killings.

I mean in 12 hours you can get a lot done but imagine what you could do with 24 hours.

But then also on the other hand for the people trying to mind there own business that's

double the time they have to be trapped indoors- who wants to be barricaded down in their house

for 24 hours- I know I wouldn't.

I mean with 12 hours you can at least get a decent amount of sleep but 24 hours is just

too long.

And then that's just all this extra time that you have to be worrying about if the

people you love are safe.

Also, I feel like after 12 hours if you're purging you should've been able to get your

aggression out.

If you're going on a killing spree for literally 24 hours I feel like it would be hard to stop

the person once 24 hours is up -like they would just want to keep going because they

would now be in a rhythm with it.

Yeah to have the purge actually happen at all would be horrible- never mind expanding

it to 24 hours.

For our next point lets talk about --Merch- this one a little silly but that doesn't

stop it from being true.

In the day and age were in right now merch is made up for everything – like literally

everything.

In the movie, there's a bunch of weapons and a lot of interesting homemade costumes.

And then there's probably my least favorite thing all of the freaky homemade masks.

Yeah, apparently people are big on wearing vision blocking masks when they're murdering

people.

I don't get it but then again I wouldn't be a part of this whole thing if it were to

happen- so anywho.

So yeah I feel like the purge merch would be treated like festival merch- you know-just

all this merch And these crazy costumes would be for sale.

With the merch, there would probably be a little mascot that would be created as well.

Yeah, it would just be a huge thing.

The teens buy into anything these days so this would be a hit.

Christmas has ugly sweaters- valentines day had flowers and chocolates- the purge would

have something too.

Come purge time the drugstores would just have an aisle filled with purge themed merchandise.

--For our next point I think –Canada needs to be mentioned- Seeing as Canada shares a

border with America I can see this not ending well.

I just would see this day spilling over onto Canadian soil so easily.

Like no one's going to be guarding the borders on the US side- it would just get really out

of hand.

Canada and the Us probably wouldn't be civil after this.

And this one 24 hours long purge would cause huge problems down the line for the 2 countries.

The laws we have here in Canada would obviously still apply but I'm assuming some people would

get brave and try and see what they would get away with.

There's already enough negativity going on in this world- we don't need to add a purge-

let alone a 24-hour purge into the mix.

But on the other hand, I could also see Canadians trying to offer safe houses for those who

have families with young children who don't want to participate.

But then again the States could view that as Canada trying to mess up what they have

going on and that could end badly too.

Just too many issues.

So coming off of Canada lets talk about- Anti-Anarchy- If the purge lasted a whole 24 hours I could

definitely see people who are against it ban together into self-enforcing communities.

There are currently people who fight for injustice and what they believe is right- so I could

see that only being made stronger if the purge happened for real.

I feel like as much as the violence grew so would the attempts to stop it.

A true battle of good vs evil.

Sadly I feel in this battle evil would come out on top as they just have literally everything

they need at their disposal.

And this night would literally turn a good person bad.

As I mentioned before there are probably people out there who otherwise would never consider

killing someone.

But give them a prime opportunity-the ability to be anonymous and a get out of jail free

card and you never know what someone could be capable off

-For our next point, I think we need to talk About the--Economy- this would terribly affect

the economy if it just lasted 12 hours never mind 24 hours.

People who specifically target certain businesses- and they could literally destroy millions

or even tens of millions of dollars in assets and inventory if given 24 hours.

They could literally cause a business to go bankrupt.

Putting murder aside of the moment- there are other really destructive things that can

be done such as embezzlement- fraud- insider trading- just so many things that can be done

in a 24-hour time span that can literally wreak someone's life.

Now it would make sense that during the purge business owners would pay to have extra security

guard their business during these 24 hours- however this would obviously come at an extremely

high cost- so this huge chunk of money could really weigh heavily on their business finances-

it would even highly affect their profitability for that quarter.

It would cause a significant instability in the economy for sure.

And there you guys have it that's our list of what if the purge was real in America for

24 hours.

Thank you all so much for watching.

If you have questions or comments leave them down below so I can respond to them.

Also, don't forget to show us some love by giving this video a big thumbs up- subscribing

and checking out our other videos.

Hope you guys have a great day and as always ill catch you in the next one.

The quarter-finals stage of the World Cup is well underway, after Uruguay lost to France at the Nizhny Novgorod on Friday afternoon

ENGLAND vs SWEDEN: LIVE WORLD CUP GOALS AND UPDATES! Brazil were the next victims, as the international side went crashing out following their defeat by Belgium in Kazan

England will take on Sweden in Samara at 3pm on Saturday, July 7 followed by Russia vs Croatia in Sochi at 7pm

Whoever makes it through today's last two games will be through to the semi-final matches, which will then follow next week

When is the World Cup final 2018? Depending on who wins the quarter-finals games, Uruguay or France will face either Brazil or Belgium in St Petersburg at 7pm on Tuesday, July 10

If England win their quarter-final match, they will play Russia or Croatia in Moscow at 7pm on Wednesday, July 10

The third place play off will take place on Saturday, July 14 in St Petersburg at 3pm

And that final match, to crown the Wolrd Cup 2018 winners, will be played in Moscow on Sunday, July 15 at 4pm

The Three Lions' biggest football match in decades is set to bring the country to a standstill, with the quarter-final against Sweden kicking off at 3pm UK time

One fan, Bob Green, 53, from Stamford, in Lincolnshire, was not full of confidence that England could make it to the next round

He said: "I think it's a bit disrespectful of them to be confident because their record in this tournament is better than ours, they've played better teams than us and our record against them is really, really poor

"We've changed things on the penalties now, so it might be time we can change the scores against them

"I'm not sure we can do it, no. "It's a 50-50, 55-45 game either way the Sweden game

" But his friend Mark Heys was still riding a wave of confidence after Tuesday's penalty shootout win over Colombia

The 56-year-old, from Bridgnorth, in Shropshire, said: "It was just amazing, just a great feeling

"What else can you say - I was elated. I'm confident - but then again I always am

I've always believed and I just generally am wrong."

Banks told: Look, your systems WILL fail. What is your backup plan? - Duration: 5:41.

Banks were today told to assume there will be problems with systems and to work on their backup plans following a series of failures caused by increasing reliance on technology

In a joint paper, the UK's Financial Conduct Authority and the Bank of England's Prudential Regulation Authority said that operational resilience failures pose a risk to vital services, consumers and the firms themselves

Although described as a discussion paper, the document makes plain that regulators are considering how to update policies to force banks to improve resilience, with areas of focus listed as risk management, outsourcing, communication and business continuity plans

The paper noted that banks are facing new challenges thanks to technical innovations like distributed ledgers, customer demand for instant or mobile access, greater reliance on outsourcing, and an increase in cyber incidents and system complexity

Bodged banking bonanza  The best known failure of late is of course TSB and its week-long meltdown and subsequent PR crisis, but it's far from the only bank TITSUP blamed on IT

In June, Visa Europe screwed Friday night drinks due to a "very rare" partial network switch failure in its data centre

Later that month, traders couldn't access the FTSE 100 due to a "technical software issue"

In May, an IT upgrade at pensions biz Aegon left users unable to access their accounts, and the FCA finally launched its investigation into the financial collapse of the Co-op bank and the impact of IT

And the end of last year there was a spate of IT fails at Lloyds Banking Group – which includes Lloyds, the Bank of Scotland and Halifax – and the Royal Bank of Scotland

Taken together, this increased and changing risk means that banks now need to expect issues with systems or processes and work on plans to minimise impact on business services

"Avoiding disruption to a particular system supporting a business service is a contributing factor to operational resilience," the paper said

"But ultimately it is the business service that needs to be resilient – and needs to continue to be provided

"Boards and senior management should assume that individual systems and processes that support business services will be disrupted, and increase the focus on backup plans, responses and recovery options

"  This means focusing on the wider impact of disruptions – not just on restoring systems and processes – for instance, by setting standards for a maximum acceptable outage time for a business service and testing this with "severe but plausible scenarios"

They are also told to map products and services to underlying systems, identify how issues will impact customers and the firm's own viability, and address the speed and effectiveness of communications with users

The report comes as TSB has been slammed for the way it handled the IT meltdown in which customers were unable to access services for a week at the end of April, thanks to a bodged systems migration

The response of bank boss Paul Pester to the chaos even prompted the Treasury Committee to take the unprecedented step of writing to the bank's chairman (PDF) to question his suitability for the role

In particular, the committee was infuriated with "complacent and misleading" public communications that didn't acknowledge customers' problems after Pester went so far as to claim the migration had been a success

In this context, the paper's focus on communications and the need to address the overall impact of disruption instead of taking a granular focus on individual systems is of little surprise

Banks, trade associations and consumer bodies have been given until 5 October to respond to the paper

Neonatal nurse who was arrested over 'murder' is released on bail - Duration: 5:25.

A 28-year-old neonatal nurse who was arrested on suspicion of murdering eight babies and attempting to kill another six has been released on bail

Lucy Letby has been bailed pending further inquiries into her connection to 17 babies' deaths at the Countess of Chester Hospital during 2015 and 2016

Detectives continued to search her £180,000 semi-detached home in Chester today, although a silver Suzuki vehicle was no longer at the address

The car, with an NHS parking permit, was moved on Tuesday to the neighbouring driveway to clear space to erect a blue forensics tent, which remains in place

Police, who have codenamed the investigation Operation Hummingbird, have also searched Letby's parents' home in Hereford

She was the face of a campaign to raise £3 million for the unit, and said at the time: 'I enjoy seeing them progress and supporting their families

'Detective Inspector Paul Hughes, who is in charge of the investigation, said earlier this week that Letby's arrest as a 'significant step forward' in the force's probe

He revealed the scope of the investigation had been widened since police took up the case - and they are now examining the care of 32 babies, 17 of whom had died

Police were called in by the hospital last May after a 2016 report from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health found staffing at the unit was inadequate

Two babies died on the unit in 2013 and three in 2014, but mortality rates jumped to eight deaths in 2015 and by June 2016, five babies had already died that year

Ian Harvey, the hospital's medical director, said that he is confident that the neonatal unit is now safe and is an equivalent to a level 1 special care baby unit

A police spokesman said today: 'Cheshire Police can confirm that the woman arrested on Tuesday has now been bailed pending further enquiries

'We continue to recognise that this investigation has a huge impact on all of the families, staff, and patients at the hospital as well as members of the public

'Parents of all the babies continue to be kept fully updated and are being supported throughout the process by specially trained officers

'This is an extremely difficult time for all the families and it is important to remember that, at the heart of this, there are a number of bereaved families seeking answers as to what happened to their children

'A spokesman for the Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust said: 'We are continuing to support Cheshire Police with their ongoing investigation

'In line with the trust's current policies, the member of staff involved will not be returning to work while this matter is ongoing

We will not be commenting further at this time.'

Who was Shirley "Mum Shirl" Smith? Wiradjuri woman, social worker Shirley "Mum Shirl" Smith. - Duration: 1:54.

Today Google Doodle in Australia honor Shirley "Mum Shirl" Smith.

On July 8th Google is Celebrating prominent Wiradjuri woman, social worker and humanitarian

activist Shirley "Mum Shirl" Smith.

Today marks the start of NAIDOC week, a time when Australia recognizes the culture of Aborigines

and Torres Strait Islanders.

In keeping with this year's theme, "Because of Her, We Can!" guest artist Cheryl Moggs,

a proud descendant of the Bigambul people of Goondiwindi, created this Doodle celebrating

the vibrant spirit of "Mum Shirl."

Colleen Shirley Perry Smith was born on November 22, 1921, in Erambie Mission, an Aboriginal

community in New South Wales.

Diagnosed with epilepsy at an early age, Shirl dedicated her life to community activism that

resulted in social reform for Aboriginal Australians and other minority communities throughout

the country.

After her brother Laurie was arrested, Shirl began visiting Sydney's Long Bay Correctional

Complex to check on him and other Aboriginal inmates.

When guards asked how she was related to the prisoners she wanted to visit, she'd say

she was their "mum"—and a legend was born.

Her work was not limited to prisons, however; Shirl was a founding member of the Aboriginal

Children's Service, the Aboriginal Housing Company, the Aboriginal Medical Service, the

Aboriginal Tent Embassy, and the Aboriginal Legal Service.

Mum Shirl resided in Sydney for the majority of her life, often travelling to educate Australians

on issues affecting Aboriginal communities.

Revered for her humanitarian work, this captivating speaker was recognized as a National Living

Treasure by Australia's National Trust in 1998.

"Many people have told me they think I'm an exception," she wrote in her autobiography.

"I'm not…

There are many fine Aboriginal people who, with half a chance, would be doing what I

am now doing."

Donald Trump visits Blenheim Palace - what it is and its links to Churchill - Duration: 4:03.

</form> It's been revealed at Blenheim Palace next Thursday, July 12.  Before the dinner, 100 business chiefs will be treated to a military ceremony performed by the bands of Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards in the palace's Great Court, who will play the Liberty Fanfare, Amazing Grace and the National Emblem

They'll be serenaded by the Countess of Wessex's Orchestra and the President, finally making his first visit to Britain since his election amid huge protests, will be piped out at the end by the Royal Regiment of Scotland

Trump, who previously demanded a gold-plated carriage procession with the Queen, will doubtless delight in the pomp and ceremony of the occasion

And it gets even better - the house has a long association with wartime leader Sir Winston Churchill, a hero of Trump

So what is Blenheim Palace, how is it linked to Winston Churchill, and what has Trump said about Churchill in the past?  Here's everything you need to know… Read More Donald Trump UK visit What is Blenheim Palace?  Blenheim Palace, described by its official website as 'a masterpiece of Baroque architecture' and recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of Britain's largest country houses

Although it is called a palace, it is not the residence of a member of the royal family or a bishop, making it unique among UK buildings with this grand designation

The name Blenheim (pronounced BLEN-im) comes from the Bavarian town of Blindheim, where the Duke of Marlborough won a famous victory over the French in the War of the Spanish Succession in 1704

.  The standout part of the stately home is its magnificent State Rooms, where you can find the famous Marlborough Tapestries depicting the 1704 victory

Its Long Library contains more than 10,000 books, many of which are hundreds of years old

What is its connection to Churchill?  The owner of Blenheim Palace may have been known officially as Marlborough, but his name was John Churchill

John Churchill was a renowned military leader and served as First Lord of the Treasury, a title now held by Theresa May (though he was not PM as that position did not exist)

The man who would serve as Prime Minister during this country's darkest hour was born at Blenheim Palace on 30 November 1874

Winston Churchill, elected as MP for Oldham at the age of just 25 in 1900, proposed to Clementine Hozier in Blenheim's Temple of Diana in 1908

The man himself emphasised the importance of Blenheim to his life in characteristically witty fashion, saying, 'At Blenheim I took two very important decisions, to be born and to marry

I am content with the decision I took on both occasions.'  The property is still owned by his descendants

What has Trump said about Churchill?  Churchill has frequently been invoked not just by British leaders, but by their American counterparts too - and President Trump is no exception

One of his first acts after his inauguration was to 'return' a bust of Churchill to the White House

In fact, despite Boris Johnson's pointing to the bust's removal as evidence of 'part Kenyan' Obama's 'ancestral dislike' of the UK, the statue remained in the White House during the Obama administration but was moved from the Oval Office to a prominent spot in the Residence

Trump is also reported to have loved the Gary Oldman film 'Darkest Hour' so much that he recommended it to Theresa May over the phone and wants to see the Churchill War Rooms when he comes to Britain next time

Former US presidential candidate Mike Huckabee, now a devout Trump supporter, tweeted after seeing the film that after the US 'had a Chamberlain for 8 years' in Obama, referring to Churchill's predecessor who tried to appease Hitler, but in Trump they had a Churchill

Strangely, however, Trump was unimpressed by being compared to the wartime leader, with Republican David Purdue telling the New York Times that the President called him to complain when he made the link

'So you think I'm like Churchill?' the President allegedly said, with Purdue adding that 'he didn't think that was a compliment
