Auto news on Youtube Jul 6 2018

Hello Everyone it's me your Jisu Cosplay

and today i wanted

to talk about a topic

which bothers me since months

which some of you may have some experience with as well, but before i start

i wanted to say

in advance that

anything i am talking

is no attack against anyone, it is

my own opinion, as u have your own

which i respect, but

everything is my point of view and my opinion

so i hope that no one feels

personally attacked about what i am about to say

because thats not what i want, i just wanted to

share my general

point of view about the Cosplay Community these days

just to state some facts no one wants to talk about

i think it is a topic you should think about

a topic which concerns the whole Cosplay Community

The Topic today is

What happened to Cosplay?

Cosplay for me is, that we

create a Costume from a Character we want to make alive

we want to characterize the character

we want to make him alive because he isn't existent in this real world

and because we share a relation with that Character

I am a Gamer

i love to play Rainbow Six and my last

Cosplay have been Ela

from Rainbow Six

She's my absolute Favorite Charackter

and i spent Months for research

get things together for the Cosplay

i wanted to get every detail possible

right on her since i am a perfectionist

And i really did my best

i put my Heart into this

I lost blood cause of needles, well you all know what i am talking about !

There are so many Feelings and Emotions in this

a Relation

and then you wear that Cosplay

u have shootings

get awesome edited pics which

displays the characters nature

and suddenly someone is coming by

judging the smallest

detail on your costume

"that seam isn't right"

"that's not right, thats missing"

"That not in the right textformat" or,

The weapon

My weapon for example from Ela

has been judged pretty hard

People only focused on the Weapon in the pictures i posted instead seeing the whole

never in my life

i crafted a handgun with

foam or worbla by myself

that was my very first time (and i noted that in my posts)

and i thing i did the shape rly good at least

and i've been really proud

because it was the first time

and u can see that it is an actual gun

and thats already a good thing

My weapon only got criticized, people said,

i should get me an Airsoft or Nerf

But what do i get from that?

I have nothing from that

when i buy me a weapon, which may fits with the Cosplay

but which i didn't made myself

i have no feeling of being proud

There is nothing on that Weapon i made myself

And isn't that what Cosplay is about? U go through

the whole process yourself

Everyone can do what they want, for me it is crafting

crafting the stuff by myself

Me personally

prefer's it to do the Cosplay myself

to have the feeling that I created it

"i did it !"

Even with the biggest struggle in between the process

i did it myself !

And i think Cosplay is exactly about that, about such feelings

when we cosplay and create cosplays

the more u work on a character

and even if u only wait for a package with the bought Cosplay pieces

The more u work on a character, the more happy you get when you finish off

and see the End result

The more u get happy about being the character

i think exactly this feel

Get's Lost

because people

only judge about the smallest Details

u can be very comfortable in your Cosplay

and then people come by and judge ur cosplays on the smallest details

and you lose the fun

your cosplay loses some value

and you are not in the mood anymore to even wear it

or u start comparing yourself with others

"u didn't do that right try to look at ....., posts"

and then the comparison starts

and i think

It don't have to be like this, i dont get it why people

judge the smallest things

instead seeing the whole

It is about how people characterize the Charackter

How people show how much comfortable they feel in their cosplay

even only by looking at a picture

how much they like to be a character / present a character

and not if every detail is right

or perfect

since when did we happen to live in such a culture? i don't get it

because exactly this is what happens to lead

to a competition, You start to compare yourself

and get frustrated about it

because you are on a different knowledge lvl /skill lvl as some of them

or don't even have time or make time to improve

and craft a new piece everyday to do so

someday you rly get frustrated about it

and then the whole fun about it get lost

and thats not how it should be, we all have the same hobby

we want to bring our favorite Characters to life

we want

we want to live that character

we want

to show others

what kind of character is this,

how does that character act,

and what's special about that character

and the passion which is behind all the crafting

or even only in being the character

is exactly what makes

Cosplay Next to that

its so that your work won't get enough appreciation

it won't get appreciated in no way possible

The Photographers for example

it's totally easy to do a selfie

but it's totally hard to do a rly beautiful

optical correct picture and to edit it in a way

that it fits your characters enviroment

or dynamic

Thats much work, its hours,

or days of work from your photographer

and then i see

that selfies or people who get completly naked

are the ones who get more appreciation as the people who try to put their Cosplay

in scene

and that's a fact

because i see it on my own posts

My pictures got stolen, reposted, i got tagged

but instead of "high quality" edited pictures

they took a selfie

pictures u took on a conventions with many people in the background

while i got pictures on my instagram

where i rly put hours into the editing

to put the cosplay into the right enviroment, into the right ambiance

to put the character in scene

People messaged me

isn't it good that he is somehow promoting you?

"No!"

It's okay

to repost a picture

i got asked for permission to do so

this is about Copyright infringement

its a difference when you post a selfie on a main page with

idk

many followers

as if you post a High quality picture

there is a big difference in the quality

for me personally

selfie's do not show the work u put into a cosplay

or the cosplay in general, if you sit like this with your mobile

and you do a selfie

you only see [the shown ancle] u don't have ur full cosplay on the picture

and if rly big Pages post your picture

for me personally this has no advantage for me

it a negative advertisment like i would only show low quality content

since u do not show your complete cosplay

u worked on for months

u probably look sweaty because you are on a convention

even with filter u can see that you are somehow tired or sweaty

it is really a difference

of course through a selfie u see the person behind the cosplay in some kind of way

but that isn't the sense behind all of this

When you Cosplay you are someone different from the person you are in "reality"

And when someone posts a selfie from me on a main page

i think thats negative advertisment for me

so many people are looking at it and might think

what kind of low quality is she posting?

instead

asking to use a high quality edited picture i worked on

to put the cosplay in the right scene matching to the

Game i represent

i would be totaly okay with that, this would be much better advertisement for me

or in general

but that is only my opinion

The Main point is that the work

behind such pictures do not get appreciated at all

and that photographers get a place "Behind" the Cosplayer (like they are in the Shadows of a Cosplayer)

I find it important to tag a photographer and to appreciate his work

When you are a cosplayer, promote your Photographer

because they are the ones putting your cosplay in scene

i think its important that

if you put your heart into something that it gets appreciated

and not reduced to the smallest detail

because, this and that and this isn't right

No, how about

seeing the cosplay as a whole once

and even say "hey that looks great"

Especially for newbies its totally hard

to feel comfortable in the scene

especially because of this competition going on

or especially because of those small detail judgements

because of this Cosplay isn't fun anymore

when you only get judged at all the time

instead to say " u did great,

if you are interessted in some tips u can pm me!"

if not

thats okay too

but u don't have to rub it under someones nose [german slogan: u don't have to keep on judgding all the time at everything they do]

if someone didn't do it right for a 100%

i dont get it, because of perfectionism

the fun gets lost

And Cosplay have been an Hobby that made fun

everyone started

even to only wear wigs and makeup without the costume

only a wig and makeup, casual clothes

that's also cosplay

it's the persons character in a daily situation

its important to have fun

and thats the problem

the fun gets taken away because people won't see the whole

because people see the smalles failure only

if it doesn't look 100% like the original it's over

you are alrdy done for, for the complete community

idk

because someone else has done it better

that it what i don't get

it is just pissing me off

u don't even get constructive critics

it's

offensive criticism

and i think offensive criticism to a person

is no valid criticism, it doesn't help the person at all

it more like hurts the person and what do u get from that? i dont get it

Everyone can Cosplay what they want

even if it is

a thicker person

cosplaying a realy thin charackter

with mini skirt, idk

everyone can think about it as they like

everyone can have an opinion about it

but if the person feels comfortable

and puts the character in a good scene

and u see that the person is happy about it

"oh my god i finally can wear it and represent it"

then don't destroy it

what do u get from "bullying" a person?

the person is sad

and most of them stop cosplaying because it's only about

having the perfect body , i do have friends

saying they are afraid to cosplay

because they do not have the right body for it

as other cosplayers

and i think this is where it should end

this is the point where u really think about whats happening

it is a topic

refers to the complete Community

and which is topical and which i experienced myself

pretty often

i know i may talked muddled up

i was in the middle of a rant

but that's my point of view

and i think its time to speak up

for people to think and discuss about it

if you are involved or not

it's a topic

to think about

"is everything really working the right way?" " is everything going the right way?"

"do we want to keep it this way?"

it don't have to be like this

it really don't have to be like this

because cosplay is something that should be about fun

it's a hobby we share

even if it isn't from the same anime, game or series

the hobby is the same

the passion is the same

the heart u put into it is the same

which is behind every character and cosplay

i think this is exactly what connects us

the passion for a character

the passion

for a cosplay

for the process

and to share it with others

to help each other

thats all good and okay and the sense behind all of this

this is what connects us

u dont have to reduce people on their failures, skills or tiniest details

thats the right word

do not reduce the cosplay on it's tiniest missing detail

see the cosplay as a whole

give some positive feedback

appreciate it

appreciate it !

let's go back to the roots

put your character in the scene like

be happy about it

have fun being the character

have fun with your friends

have fun creating the

cosplay, have fun with the progress

don't think about the followers or likes

do what u like and have fun with

do not run after trends because u feel like u have to

don't set urself under pressure because of trends

like "oh my god thats IN i need to do that too to get more followers!

before anyone else is doing it before me"

please do not start like that

because this is how the competition is born

it alrdy is a competition that moment

and because of this with time

u lose interest and fun in cosplay

think about it

"Are you happy with your current situation as Cosplayer/influencer?"

or

"Are you happy with your

current cosplay plans?"

or "do u only like to do the cosplay because everyone else is doing it?"

give it a thought

i will stop now

this became a really long video

and im apologizing for that but it really was important for me to do this

to talk about it, stating my opinion

i hope everyone got the message behind all of this

and i hope that it gets people to think about it

thank you for listening, the english subs will come when i got time [here they are XD]

let's see us in the next video

Have fun cosplaying !

I love you, your Jisu Cosplay

✅ We get new images showing the Suzuki Jimny doing what it was built for, as well as fresh details a - Duration: 2:13.

Last month, we were able to publish official images of the upcoming new generation Suzuki Jimny SUV

Now, Suzuki has released a detailed mega-gallery of the boxy 2019 Jimny and some essential information on its powertrain and safety tech

The big news is that the Jimny's introductory engine choice will be bigger than anticipated, as it will be the 1

5-liter, 100-horsepower four-cylinder gasoline engine producing 96 pound-feet of torque

For the time being, no other powertrain options are available, and there's no word yet of a hybrid variant

The offered transmissions are a five-speed manual and a four-speed automatic, and 4WD mode is switchable from a separate gear lever with high and low range

Curb weight is mentioned to be as low as 2400 pounds. As for the Jimny's safety, there's now automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning combined with "Weaving Alert," and also traffic sign detection — certainly high tech for a very small SUV

But it's outside the reach of any road signage where the Jimny is designed to shine, as the image gallery shows with photos of the vehicle off-road

The Jimny's approach angle is 37 degrees, the ramp breakover angle is 28 degrees and the departure angle a nice 49 degrees

The minimum ground clearance is mentioned to be roughly 8.3 inches. Related Video:

What Child Is This Part Four - Duration: 29:50.

for many Christmas begins with the AH of that baby in a manger we've been singing

about him coming and we all realized that's where it all began we send cards

we have pictures and paintings and songs that all point to Jesus in the manger

many songs though will point to his sacrifice many songs do give us the

picture of what it meant for him to come to live on this earth and to die for our

sake and a lot of times what we may not realize because we're thinking now of

Jesus coming as a baby but Jesus grew into a man Jesus grew showing us the

love of the Father the scripture says I love the scripture in Colossians that

says he was the visible image of the invisible God that's who Jesus Christ is

so when we see him we're seeing God amen when we see Jesus we're seeing God

there's a lot of people confused in the world today about what what does God

really like well look at Jesus read Matthew Mark Luke and John see the

things that Jesus did watch how he treated people watch how he ministered

to people watch how he taught the people watch how he lived among the people the

scripture says he Jesus himself said he that has seen me has seen the father so

when we see Jesus we see God and so it's been it's awesome to me as we we come to

this season and we come to this time especially talking about the birth of

Christ and the fulfillment of prophecies concerning his coming Kevin shared a few

weeks ago and talked about the prophecies I think there were about 353

prophecies some some studies show 300 plus prophecies that hundreds of years

before Jesus came these passages of Scripture would describe who he would be

and what he would do they described where he would be born

and in the likelihood you can go back and you can study some of this or listen

to Kevin's message our youth pastor as you listen to this and you see some of

these statistics it's just incredible to think of the chances are the odds one

study a long time ago said the chances of just a few of the hundreds of

prophecy prophecies that came to pass about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

would be like filling the state of Texas with a couple of feet deep of silver

dollars and then placing one red silver dollar somewhere in the middle of the

state of Texas and then that's to honor all those Texans that are here today

Texas amen it says throw that red silver dollar in the middle of the pile a

couple of feet deep all through the state of Texas and then blindfold

someone let them walk anywhere they wanted let them put their hand in and

grab a silver dollar and it would be the red one that's the odds of just a few of

the hundreds of prophecies that came to pass about Jesus Christ coming to pass

isn't that amazing Wow the odds of that happening so it's

not happenstance it's not coincidence it's not just by chance now I want to

read from Isaiah chapter 9 I think lid was quoting this a little bit earlier so

this I want to read Isaiah chapter 9 verses 1 through 7 say nevertheless that

time of darkness and despair will not go on forever see you have to understand

some things about prophecy sometimes prophecy spoke to the time that was

there but also they had things concerning the future that was coming

forth and so never they lived in darkness and despair and so God is

describing really he's describing us without his presence in our lives he's

describing the darkness he's describing the hopelessness and he says that

darkness and despair will not go on forever the land of Zebulun and Naphtali

will be humbled but there will be a time in the future when galilee of the

gentiles which lies along the road that runs between the Jordan

and the sea will be filled with glory this is talking about the coming of

Jesus Christ the people who walk in darkness will see

a great light for those who live in a land of deep darkness a light will shine

you will enlarge the nation of Israel and its people will rejoice they will

rejoice before you as people rejoice at the harvest and like warriors dividing

the plunder now notice what it says in verse 4 you will break their yoke of

slavery and lift the heavy burden from their shoulders you will break the

oppressors rod just as you did when you destroyed the army of Midian so what

does the scripture saying there the scripture is picturing us under the

weight of slavery and the burden of being under someone else's control it's

a picture of a man or a woman a young person without a relationship with Jesus

Christ that is under the yoke of bondage under the weight under the slavery of

the devil who was the enemy the Bible says in 1st John chapter 3 for this

purpose the Son of God was manifest that he would destroy the works of the devil

amen that's why he came to destroy to break off addictions to break off

hopelessness to break off depression in oppression to break off everything that

the devil would bring that's why Jesus Christ came he came for you he came for

me verse 6 says here it is for unto us a child is born a son is given the

government shall rest upon his shoulders and he will be called here's a

description of our Lord and Savior here's a description of God Almighty

he'll be called wonderful counselor mighty God everlasting father Prince of

Peace his government or his rule and its peace

will never end how many of you know the kingdom of God

it doesn't matter what it looks like in the world it doesn't matter what the

media is saying to us today the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ is not

diminishing it's increasing and it will continue to increase until the day that

Jesus Christ comes back for his church it's only gonna get better and better

and better hallelujah the church is not diminishing and hiding somewhere in a

cave it's not necessary we're sons and daughters of the Most High God and he's

created us to rule and to reign in the earth he's created us as sons and

daughters of God to point people to the hope to point people to the light to

point people to the love of God it's only gonna increase of his this this

government his rule and his peace will never end now that's for those

especially who know him if you don't know him the world is hopeless if you

don't know him the situations that you might be facing seem overwhelming if you

don't know him there may not seem a way out but when

you know him there's always hope he's the God of Hope when you know him

there's always peace no matter what's going on all around you can be at peace

Jesus demonstrated it when he was in the boat and his disciples were on the Sea

of Galilee and a huge storm came up he was sleeping in the back of the boat

they were all freaking out we're gonna die don't you care we're gonna die and

Jesus got up and spoke to the storm he showed you and me some things that we

can do we don't have to live in turmoil we don't have to live in in fear we

don't have to live in worry and in anxiety we can live at peace this

prophecy foretold of Jesus bringing light to prophecy foretold of Jesus

breaking the yoke of slavery and bondage because the devil had been controlling

people that's his heart that's his desire that's his passion is to destroy

the work of God Jesus described that work of the devil in John chapter 10

verse 10 he said the thief comes to steal to kill and to destroy but I have

come Jesus said I've that you'd have life and have life more

abundantly amen you can have life today making

Jesus Christ the Lord of your life hallelujah

so it's right to begin with turning our attention to the baby in the manger but

we cannot keep Jesus as a baby in a manger he he showed us the way of God he

doesn't want us to live in guilt he doesn't want us to live in condemnation

of our past he doesn't want us to live in fear of the future people are so

worried about what's going to happen in the future I just read one of those

funny statements they talk about worry worries like worry does about as much as

sitting in a rocking chair you'll be doing something but never getting

anywhere that's a lot of times people do with worry

they're worried they're worried they're fearful they're anxious friend let me

tell you Jesus is the Good Shepherd Jesus is the one who's come to bring us

life and life more abundantly and he tells us we don't have to worry we don't

have to live in guilt we don't have to live in condemnation of our past our

past is forgiven by his blood that was shed yes he came as a baby in a manger

but he grew into a man and then he hung on a cross for you and for me giving his

life as a sacrifice for us listen we need to be like the woman caught in

adultery when Jesus exposed and those that are around her maybe maybe you feel

guilty today maybe you feel shame maybe you feel condemned for your sin but here

look at this story in John chapter 8 you can read it a little bit later but in

John chapter 8 these religious leaders brought this woman and they said Jesus

this woman was caught in the act of adultery

now I any intelligent person would probably look at that and go okay where

was the man why did they just bring the woman but they only brought the woman

for some reason maybe the man was one of their friends I don't know we don't know

we can only suppose but they only brought the woman and so Jesus did

something that was really cool he began to say first of all the Bible says he

wrote down some things in the ground and there's

lots of debate it what what did Jesus write down there's a verse in the Old

Testament that talks about how your sins will be written in the earth and I'm

wondering if Jesus didn't just can't bend down and write their name and write

some of their sins and the Bible says that he said you that is without sin go

ahead and throw the first stone and then that Bible says he wrote down and

stooped down and wrote again in the dirt and the sand in the ground and one by

one from the oldest to the youngest they all started to leave leaving Jesus with

that woman by himself with the crowd and and and he says woman where are your

accusers and she said no one Lord and what did he say he said neither do i

condemn you go and sin no more then listen listen friends you you have

to understand Jesus expects us to live a pure life in a holy life there's an

expectation there he says go and sin no more but listen if you've got we've all

had stuff in our life if we've got baggage and things that have come from

our past life maybe before Christ maybe after we've received Jesus as our Lord

and Savior and we may feel condemned condemned we may feel guilty we may feel

shame but I want you to know friend the blood of Jesus cleanses you the blood of

Jesus removes that guilt in that shame you don't have to live in that any

longer but the Bible also says live right amen that's a challenge isn't it

but he can help us to do it the Bible says his spirit lives in us to help us

live in a way in a manner that pleases him so he said to this woman go and sin

no more so he doesn't condemn you he's not condemning he's working to bring

change then he empowers to live out that change you might say well I've done some

pretty bad things I've been a jerk in my marriage or abusive to my kids I've

stolen things that you know we think of all the things that we may have done we

know and and the devil likes to accuse the Bible says

the devil's the accuser of the Brethren he's the one who's going to continually

bring up your fear your failure your your your mistakes your sin the things

you did wrong listen here's a great way to know if the Holy Spirit is working in

your life or the devil's working in your life the devil will always say you blew

it you're a lowlife you're a jerk give up when the Holy Spirit's working

he'll say yes you blew it but here's what you do to get right he

always brings hope he always brings a way back to God it may be repentance it

may be talking to someone and asking them for forgiveness

whatever it is repentance is going a different direction that's what the Holy

Spirit will say he'll always point you to him condemnation says you've blown it

God's mad at you God hates you that it couldn't not be anything further from

the truth God's not mad at you he loves you and he has a plan and a purpose for

your life hallelujah wow so over the last few weeks we've

been blessed to hear some messages from the pastor's centering on the theme as I

mentioned what child is this and by the way I've asked them to minister because

I wanted different perspectives on the Christmas account of Jesus coming they

didn't minister because I was having any health issues so there were there was a

couple of questions sometimes people ask questions because I was here and they

were ministering I wanted to hear what they had to say now sometimes I go on

vacation and and and I have a minister or a pastor fill the pulpit for me but I

was here hearing the Word of God because I wanted to hear not because of health

issues I wasn't preaching so anyway I just wanted to throw that out there in

case anybody was concerned and I could go now for until noon if I needed to but

I won't and actually not having preached for the last four weeks or so I've got a

lot to say so I hope the turkeys and the hams are on auto time for a shut off in

turn oh I'm just kidding so Donny brought the first message in the series

on the Shepherd's view of Jesus and and recently maybe you've come across

some of these studies but recently I've seen some Jewish teachings and some

those who knew Jewish history and studied some of the the background of

where Jesus was born there's an interesting thing when you

read Luke chapter 2 when the angels announced the birth of Christ they never

really say where Jesus is they just say you're gonna find the babe wrapped in

swaddling clothes in a manger and and some as they've studied that have said

they didn't have to give the shepherds direction because the Shepherd's knew

exactly where that was wow that's pretty fascinating now

sometimes you read things and you go ok where did they get that is that really

it true cuz it's really a cool story but so it sounds like it could work as -

sounds awesome that as these shepherds were watching the Sheep these Shepherds

were Shepherds that would watch the lambs the sheep that would be offered

for sacrifice at the temple and these Shepherds had a place it was a tower of

egg our egg dar something along those lines and there was a manger there so

when the angel said you'll find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a

manger they knew exactly where to go they didn't have to wander through

Bethlehem looking around and we know the Weizmann followed the star but the angel

didn't say anything to them about a star he just said you're gonna find a babe

wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger well there was a place that when

a lamb a sheep was about to give birth that they would bring those sheep

because the sacrifice for the temple of Jesus that was a picture of Jesus when

those lambs were sacrificed those sheep were sacrificed they could be without

blemish that means they couldn't have any scars they couldn't have any any

blemishes on their body at all so just before a lamb would be born they would

bring the mother to this tower this place of safety and when the bit when

the baby lamb was born they would wrap the lamb in swaddling clothes

so this lamb you know you just think of the prophecies and you think of the

things that God did and I think when we get to heaven we're gonna just go it's

gonna take us thousands of years just to go whoa we're just gonna be so

odd aw edie odd at God and all that he did to bring us into relationship with

him and so here's Jesus born in the very place that the sacrificial lambs would

be given and threw and raised and protected and he was and is our

sacrifice Wow something else about Bethlehem I think I think it's cool and

maybe not everybody does but Bethlehem itself means House of bread whoo Jesus

said in John chapter 6 what I am the bread of life coincidence hardly I I

very much doubt so so Jesus is our Shepherd Donny brought out the fact

about the shepherd and brought out how the shepherds protect us and provide for

us and and you know you reading in Psalm 23 David as his shepherd was talking

about Jesus and he says the Lord is my shepherd I have all that I need he lets

me rest in green meadows he leads me beside peaceful streams he renews my

strength he guides me along right paths bringing honor to his name even when I

walk through the darkest Valley I will not be afraid for you are close beside

me your rod and your staff protect me and comfort me you prepare a feast for

me in the presence of my enemies you honor me by anointing my head with oil

my cup overflows with blessings surely Your goodness and unfailing love will

pursue me all the days of my life and I will live in the house of the Lord

forever now I have to tell you this this morning just to remind us that this

passage is for much more than just a reading at a funeral it's a great

comforting scripture and and lots of times people do find comfort sometimes

it's printed on that little bulletin sometimes it's spoken somebody read

sit out but friend I want you to know that that God wants us to know that in

the middle of difficult times in the middle of challenging situations in the

middle of turmoil that you might be going through he is the great Shepherd

he wants to bring you peace he wants to bring you comfort he wants to provide

for you he wants to protect you he wants to bring salvation to you that's what he

came to do he came to set us free from the work of the enemy hallelujah so he

is the great Shepherd for God so loved the world that whoever would believe in

him would not perish but have everlasting life

Wow that's a quality of life here on earth but it's also talking about your

eternity when you leave this earth so what child is this he's our Shepherd

he's our provider he's our protector then Kevin brought the message

concerning Jesus the rock of our faith and even though Mary and Joseph didn't

fully grasp everything God wanted to accomplish for them they chose to

believe God's Word Wow think of it now we sometimes read these scriptures you

know because it's the time of the year to read about the birth of Christ and

the Angels announcement to Mary and and and so we read in Luke chapter 1 and the

angel said to Mary nothing is impossible with God would you just say that with me

nothing is impossible with God Wow Mark chapter 9 tells us anything is

possible if a person believes anything is possible

if a person believes so we see that Mary had to trust God's message through this

angel that was the Word of God God's will was revealed God's Word was brought

to her and Mary listened closely to this Mary comes

sieved the plan of god within her because she believed the Word of God

he said that was Mary know that talk that's talking about you now you're not

gonna have a baby because that's not the Word of God to you unless you're

believing God physically for a baby you've got lots of scripture to find for

that but it's going to come because a man and a woman are married amen and

they have a baby I won't go into detail because there's lots of kids in the

audience so you get did you understand but she listened she received the Word

of God you say how did she receive the Word of God and conceived the Bible says

that Jesus was conceived in her because the Holy Spirit came upon her and that

which will be conceived in you what did she do she agreed with the word God

spoke remember what she said she said be it unto me according to your word what

happened the moment she said that that was her faith being released and she

received what God had promised she received God's will she received God's

plan friend there's lots of scripture in the Word of God the Bible is full of

passages that will help you know the will of God and when you believe it

you'll receive it it'll happen in your life the Bible talks about healing God

provided healing through the Lord Jesus Christ you have to believe it to receive

it the Bible talks about provision the Bible talks about peace all kinds of

places in the word that God's will is revealed if we'll choose to believe it

will receive it and it'll become a reality in our life the Bible talks

about a purpose in life God has a purpose for your life in my

life the enemy would try to cut it short but the enemy can't cut it short unless

we allow him to don't let him cut it you stand you resist the Bible says what

resists the devil and he'll flee from you hallelujah so God's Word calls us to

trust in him God's Word tells us his plan of salvation first of all coming

into a relationship with him through Jesus sacrifice on the earth Joseph had

to trust the message in a dream that he received when the angel appeared to him

and said don't be afraid to take Mary as your wife because he was gonna divorce

her quietly privately but he had a dream so he had a choice both Mary and Joseph

had a choice to either believe what God said now that'll never happen

oh that just sounds too good to be true but they chose in the midst of their

circumstance and situation which is a picture for you and for me in the midst

of our circumstance and situation we can choose to believe and say Lord I believe

the Word of God I thank you that it's working in my life nothing is impossible

to him who believes who what child is this who is this Jesus

he is the rock of our faith and we can trust in him and then Debbie Yuhas has I

pronounced her last name incorrectly last week I don't want to put this short

on the a instead of the long on the a so Debbie you has brought the word

concerning Jesus our thirst quencher he she looked at the perspective of Mary

did you know that Mary the mother of Jesus I love the song mary did you know

most of us have heard that song all through the holiday season I love the

line in there that says did you know that when you kissed your little baby

you were kissing the face of God did you know we don't know how much they really

understood because when Jesus got lost in the temple is as Debbie brought out

to us they were frantic they were looking and they said look Jesus why

have you done this to us they were nervous I I love the way she brought out

can you imagine oh no we lost God's Son we're in trouble now

you'd be the responsible one for God's Son and you lost him holy cow that would

be bad but he said did you not know I must be they didn't have the complete

picture they they were walking by faith they didn't understand everything we

look at and go yeah they must have known look at Jesus and doubt it

Bible says that married the these people would come that Wiseman came Simeon gave

a prophecy anak and I gave a prophecy when they brought Jesus to be

circumcised and she pondered these things in her heart the Bible says that

she thought about them from time to time as Jesus was growing up she didn't have

the whole picture and then she came to a place where she realized yeah Jesus is

my son but I have to receive him as my savior he was the thirst quencher Wow

and Jesus said in John chapter 4 anyone who drinks of this water and natural

water from the well will become thirsty again but those who drink from the water

I will give will never be thirsty again it becomes a fresh and bubbling spring

within them giving them eternal life see it's that simple you and I need to open

our hearts and receive Jesus into our life by believing he's the son of God

and that God sent him that God let him live showed him how to live Jesus obeyed

the ways the will of the Father and then he died as a sinless spotless lamb for

you and for me but we have to ask him into our life he's not gonna barge his

way into anybody's life he he waits to be invited he he knocks at the door of

our heart and he waits for us to invite him in Wow he gives us that choice and

then in John chapter 6 and I'm gonna close with this before we get ready to

receive communion jesus replied I am the bread of life in John 6:35 whoever comes

to me will never be hungry whoever believes in me will be thirsty

can I say this in the midst of your situation in the midst of your question

in the midst of circumstances that you may find yourself in or having gone

through let me just encourage you stay on God's side look to him trust him you

may not understand what's going on right now there may be an attack that's come

your way there may be situations or circumstances listen friend I have to

tell you God is for you he's not against you he's for you he's not against you

and so we see that Jesus is the bread of life

What is Amazon Prime Day 2018? - Duration: 6:45.

Online retailer Amazon has announced that Amazon Prime Day will return this year, officially beginning on the evening of 16 July

It will be the fourth such promotion, and is expected to include more than a million Prime Day deals

During Prime Day 2016, buyers made purchases at a rate of 398 per second. The discounts on offer may not be on par with Black Friday, says Alphr, but it's the place to be for a mid-year bargain

What is Amazon Prime Day? Introduced in 2015 to celebrate Amazon's 20th anniversary, the first Prime Day was a one-day only retail holiday that sought to overtake Black Friday as the sales event of the year, Business Insider reports

"This inaugural Prime Day received some criticism from shoppers who weren't happy with the quality and quantity of deals offered, but Amazon has stepped up its game in both realms since, and to great success," the site says

Prime Day 2017 was the biggest shopping day in the history of the company, until it was surpassed by Cyber Monday 2017 the following November

This year Australia, Singapore, Netherlands, and Luxembourg join the list of countries in which deals are available

Amazon sites in the US, the UK, Canada, Spain, Mexico, Japan, Italy, India, Germany, France, China, Belgium and Austria will take part again

This year's event lasts considerably more than a day, extending to 36 hours. When is Amazon Prime Day? Prime Day will start on 16 July at 8pm UK time and will run until 8am on 18 July, an increase on the 30-hour sale in 2017

How do I get involved? You need to be a signed-up member of the full Amazon Prime service, which gives access to one-day delivery, Kindle books and TV, film and music streaming

Simply having an Amazon Prime Video account won't cut it. Full membership costs £7

99 a month or there's a one-off annual fee of £79. However, it is possible to get the deals without having to pay up

Amazon offers a 30-day free trial - but you must remember to cancel your account before the trial expires or you'll be charged full membership prices automatically

What is on offer? No doubt most shoppers will be tempted by the personal and home technology deals pushed by Amazon, but there's much more on offer

As well as the bargains to be found on gadgets, there are discounts on food, drink, kitchenware, toys, musical instruments, furniture and even garden sheds

Not every deal is available all day, though. Many are timed and will expire early in the day, while others will only become available at lunchtime and in the evening

The key to nailing Prime Day is researching beforehand, the Daily Mirror says. Compare prices, set a budget and look at similar spec items - especially tech goods - to figure out the best buy for your needs

Eager shoppers can check to see how prices have changed on the retailer's site using a service like CamelCamelCamel

The tool tracks prices to see if products are regularly discounted or of you're getting a genuine special offer

Are there any leaked deals available? "Amazon has released information on several deals in order to whet customers' appetites," the Daily Telegraph says

Here are some of the best so far, with many bound to be announced before 16 July:25% off selected services on Amazon Home Services, which includes carpet cleaning, oven and hob cleaning, and furniture assembly

What Child Is This Part Three - Duration: 33:43.

first of all I think we should look at who Mary is so let's just jump right

into it in Luke chapter one so if you could turn your Bibles there or touch

your screens to it in Luke chapter one verse 26

I'm used to saying okay it's like I have to hold back and say Luke one Luke 1:26

go my first one there gets twenty Bible bucks so in Luke 26 I'm just gonna read

through the story here as the angel appears to Mary so now in the sixth

month the angel Gabriel was sent by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth to a

virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph of the house of David the

Virgin's name was Mary and having come in the angel said to her rejoice highly

favored one the Lord is with you blessed are you among women now I want to stop

there in verse 28 it talks about how Mary is favored and I looked up the word

favored and it actually is the word grace and it means I'm well in the

amplified it always has in those little asset you know the parenthesis they do

not Astor's unmerited favor and I looked it up in the Strong's Concordance and it

means graciousness as gratifying of manner or act abstract or concrete

literal figurative or spiritual especially the divine influence upon the

heart and it's reflection in the life including gratitude acceptable benefit

favored gift so to me I looked at that and I was like who is Mary she is

favored well does that mean that she was really extra special and she did all you

know dotted all her eyes and crossed her T's and she did everything that she was

supposed to do probably maybe she was probably a really good girl I mean God

was entrusting his son to her right so he looked at her

but I believe because this this favor that she had this grace that she had was

a gift and it wasn't because of what she did or earned it was because of her

position and who she was in her lineage and who she was betrothed to it was

before the angel appeared to her she was betrothed to Joseph right so it was

because of her position and so I think that in Mary's mind when this angel

appears to her so let's read on in verse 29 but then she saw him she was troubled

at this saying and considered what manner of greeting this was then the

angel said to her do not be afraid Mary for you have found favor with God I

thought that was so funny when the angel appeared to the Shepherd in that video

and he was like too late and behold you receive in your womb and bring forth a

son and shall call his name Jesus he will be great and will be called the son

of the highest and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David

and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever and of his kingdom there

will be no end then Mary said to the angel how can this be since I do not

know a man and the angel said answered and said to her the Holy Spirit will

come upon you and the power of the highest will overshadow you therefore

also that Holy One who was to be born will be called the Son of God now this

point I feel like just all of this experience that Mary was having she was

she was probably in that mode that everybody else was just waiting for the

Messiah waiting for this ayat but now was the time now was it could you

imagine just that excitement that would bubble up inside of her well backing up

just just one scripture it says how can this be since I don't know a man and it

reminded me of Zacharias when Zacharias was approached by an angel just before

this just six months before saying that his wife was going to become pregnant

but both of them were were past their years of having children and so

he was he answered the angel but I thought it was interesting how the angel

answered each one of them differently and so it really stuck out to me and so

it showed me that Mary was actually a person who had faith in God she was she

was operating in her faith and I think that her her favor was because of her

faith in God and it says that in Hebrews 11:6 without faith it's impossible to

please God so I believe that that was part of that favor that was on her life

because she had faith and it showed me if you look just flip a page back in

Luke chapter 1 verse 18 Zechariah said to the angel how shall I know this well

it sounds like the same right to me as I how shall I know this or how you know

how can this be compared to Mary but when I looked it up in the Greek it was

a different word and Zacharias used the word Tata which is the word but or but

how can this be right and it expresses an opposition in how can I be sure this

would happen right well with Mary she used a different word and was actually a

series of words that I'm not gonna try to pronounce but in it the the full

expression was a positive expression and it was how is this going to come to pass

which is a faith statement so told me Mary is a person of faith right and she

also would continue reading on I don't have two pages two sides that would

confuse me and if we read on in back to Luke chapter one and we're continuing on

in her story she goes to see her cousin Elizabeth and then I'm sorry the angel

says Elizabeth has conceived also for with God nothing is impossible and Mary

said Behold the may servant of the Lord let it be to me according to your word

and the angel departed from her and it showed that she was ready to partner

with God to humble herself and submit herself to his leading so this is

telling me something else about Mary right again God is entrusting his son to

this person right and it's told you know and a lot

of the scholars that I that I've heard I didn't read anything but I've heard a

lot that she was younger she was like sixteen seventeen years old right in

there so pretty young but being full of faith and and having that favor on her

life so then as I was reading through you go down to verse 53 she goes Mary

goes through this song or this prayer after she goes to visit her cousin

Elizabeth and finds out she's pregnant and Elizabeth finds out Mary's pregnant

and the baby leaped in her womb right well then she starts stating these

things and again they were faith statements it showed her trusting God it

showed she had a heart of worship it showed that she was somebody who was

taking my notes she also oh the fear of the Lord I was

like I was forgetting something that she feared God but also in verse 53 it says

he has filled the hungry with good things and so to me it was showing that

she was saying I have this thirst I have this desire this this hunger to see God

fulfill what He has promised and his promise was salvation right so she was

like I want to see it fulfilled so then I was you know I was reading through and

I turned you know if you turn with me to the next chapter in Luke chapter 2 after

Jesus is born I'm not going to go through all of that with you today okay

because I have things that I want to point out okay going through Jesus is

life with Mary that I understood that Mary had to change her the identity of

her relationship once Jesus was born the Shepherd's came the swaddling clothes

all that kind of stuff right and this and then you know fast forward a couple

of years and no I'm sorry not yet don't fast forward in Luke chapter 2 verse 28

let's turn there and this is when they brought Jesus he was just a few days old

I don't remember I think it was 7 or 9 days that they had you know

I'm circumcised and everything and they went through all those rituals so it

showed me that she and Joseph followed the law because they were under law at

that time they were very accurate in their following of the law so they did

all those things and it shows us that they were doing that and they came to

present Jesus at the temple and so in verse 28 actually the starting 27 so he

came by the spirit into the temple and that's Simeon and when the parents

brought in the Child Jesus to do for him according to the custom of the law he

took him up in his arms and blessed God and said Lord now you've let you are

letting your servant depart in peace according to your word for my eyes have

seen your salvation which you have prepared before the face of all the

peoples a light to bring revelation to the Gentiles and the glory of your

people Israel and Joseph and his mother marveled at those things which were

spoken of him then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary his mother specifically

speaking to Mary behold this child is destined for the fall and rising of many

in Israel and for a sign which will be spoken against so to me when he was

saying that he was saying that he's Jesus is a sign but people are just

gonna say oh the sign has come this is it this is the one people are gonna

speak against it and then he goes on to say yes a sword will pierce through your

own soul also that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed the Holy Spirit

revealed to me as I was studying through this that at that moment Simeon was

telling Mary you two will have to make a decision to follow Jesus you too are

going to have that sword of the word pierce your heart just as it says in

Hebrews I'm going to turn over there really

quick I'll probably put it up on the screen here but in excuse me Hebrews

4:12 for the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged

sword piercing even to the division of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow

and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart and I believe that

as a sword that Simeon was talking about that Mary had to choose just like all of

us she was human and Jesus came to save her and we're gonna get into a little

bit more of what I think that Mary had believed of how Jesus was going to save

the world so I believe that she had to change her perspective of this little

baby instead of him being just her son that he was the son of God that he was

Messiah Savior and God Himself that she had to come to that so let's kind of

look and follow her in in throughout her life with Jesus and look at some

different encounters that they've had with Jesus discovering Jesus as her

Savior first of all she had Wiseman come to her then approximately two years old

which is why Herod had killed all the babies that were two years old and under

because you know the time frame that the Wiseman had told him and they in they

had appeared to a house so people she didn't know didn't know her but they

called you know they came to her and they said to her this is the King of the

Jews so she hid that in her heart the king of the Jews somebody she didn't

know she they didn't know her but they followed the star and God had brought

them there right so just a quick little King of the Jews so she hid that in her

heart the next one that I really want to dive into is in Luke

atchoo again in chapter 41 and it says his parents went to Jerusalem every year

at the Feast of the Passover again that tells me that they were very precise

about following the law so it was showing Jesus and it points

out to me that Mary's or that Jesus's parents you know here on the earthly

sense they were showing him the law and it says that he was perfect he followed

the law to the tee and he was under law and followed the law while he was here

on earth does that make sense and it says that he was perfect throughout his

life and that's why he could be presented as the spotless lamb as our

sacrifice so anyway so I was looking at this and in verse

let me read again they went to the Feast of the Passover every year and when he

was twelve years old they went up to Jerusalem according to the custom of the

feast when they had finished the days as they returned the boy Jesus lingered

behind in Jerusalem and Joseph and his mother did not know it but supposing him

to have been in company they went a day's journey and sought him among their

relatives and acquaintances they like oh jesus isn't here where where did he go

oh and they spend a whole day looking for him within the company that they

were traveling with right now finally they realized when they had finished the

day's is that in verse 44 but 45 so when they did not find him they returned to

Jerusalem seeking him could you imagine oh my goodness we lost God's right so

they went looking for him I can imagine them being very anxious

I just good job with the lights Luke I just have to say Bravo

that looks beautiful like how he created this glow he's been working really hard

sorry that's my son so yeah anyways if I lost

him I would be really sad I would be looking for frantically to not just this

son of God so when they did not find him they returned to Jerusalem so now so it

was in verse 46 that after three days they found him in the temple sitting in

the midst of the teachers both listening to them and asking them questions and

all who heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers so when they

saw him they were amazed and his mother said to

him son why have you done this to us look your father and I have sought you

anxiously so they were anxious and they were like we have you been why are you

treating us like this I think that's how the amplified says it why did you treat

us like this and so I love what Jesus says and he said to them why did you

seek me did you not know that I must be about my father's business and in verse

50 it says but they did not understand this statement which he spoke to them

because it was at that moment that he said God is my father that was the first

time he said God is my father nobody called God their father he was God

Jehovah right so for that for him to say that they didn't understand they're like

your father standing right here you know so it was like what does that mean then

he went down with them and came to Nazareth and was subject to them I love

that part he was subject to them he obeyed his parents so we see that he was

obedient so obedient children make Mama's happy so we know Mary was a happy

mama and she taught him and instructed him and um and was subject to them but

his mother kept all these things in her heart and Jesus increased in wisdom and

stature and in favor with God and men I love that part where she said where it

says and she kept us in her heart so that was to me one of the first steps in

her journey of discovering what is going on here now you think that you know

being of a virgin birth you know and everything that that would be sign

enough right like okay I know that happened so you know going forward just

to see these things and to know you know to wonder why they didn't understand

what he said why they couldn't see a bigger picture so it's just amazing to

me how it kind of unfolds so let's take a look at the next thing there as Jesus

grew I'm not sure where Joseph is he kind of leaves the picture but it

continues on with Mary so it's good thing we're focusing on Mary

that would be really hard with Joseph so in the wedding in John chapter 2 let's

turn over there some kind of building a case for you and hopefully I'm doing

okay my time okay I'm not doing okay my time oh my goodness okay so this is the

part where they go to the wedding um on the third day there was a wedding in

Cana of Galilee and the mother of Jesus was there that's Mary now Jesus and both

Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding as well and when they ran

out of wine the mother Jesus said they have no wine jesus said or woman what is

your what does your concern have to do with me my hour has not yet come

his mother said to the servants whatever he says to you do it in this I've I saw

Mary how many of you had you know just maybe speak I could speak to parents not

just moms I think dads have it to where you see that potential in your child but

then Holy Spirit speaks through you and set you know and you put a challenge out

to your child well Jesus is grown man here but she put that challenge out

still and it was really neat because if you fast forward the water gets turned

into wine and then when it comes to verse 11 I love this at the end of all

of that there was a positive result in the end it wasn't whoo we got the best

wine after at the end of the wedding right that wasn't the whole purpose the

purpose was this beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee and

manifested his glory so it manifested his glory and his disciples believed in

him so there was a positive result of his mother challenge putting that

challenge out and seeing that potential so that was really neat but knowing that

there was some power involved in who her son was what kind of conversations would

they have at the table I just wonder I wish the Bible would kind of tell us a

little bit more about that then later on just a tidbit Mary and Jesus's brothers

came to the or when he was ministering to a group of

people and and he was you know having a Holy Ghost time and they come there like

Jesus in town he was like and they're like your mom and your brothers are out

the door and he was like you are my mother and brothers so it showed me that

Jesus even in the the wedding that he didn't show his mother special

privileges she too had to choose him to be her Savior she did not receive

special privileges I think God might have hurt my feelings a little bit if I

was Mary I'm just saying then finally I want to show you Mary at the cross so

let's look at John chapter 19 excuse me verse 25

so John 1925 now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother and his

mother's sister Mary the wife of Clopas and Mary Magdalene three Mary's may Mary

Mary Mary just K it was very solemn during that time when Jesus therefore

saw his mother and the disciple whom he loved that always cracks me up

standing by he said to his mother woman behold your son then he said to the

disciple behold your mother this is when Jesus is on the cross he has been

flogged he's been beaten and a crown of thorns nailed to the cross and here he

is as the first born son taking on his responsibilities as the earthly son of

Mary and saying I'm passing on this responsibility to someone who I know

will take care of you so I love that behold your son and from that hour that

disciple took her to his own home and in verse 28

after this Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished sorry that the

scripture might be fulfilled said I thirst to me

I thirst to me right then in there he traded places with Mary he traded places

with all of us when he did that that thirst that she had that desire that

hunger for to know how God would fulfill and answer those questions and that

promise he did right then and there and he traded places there he took that

thirst and he gave her more than enough so I have a example that I wanted to an

object lesson that I wanted to do for you all to show you a little bit pardon

me

okay oh my goodness

thank you for your patience okay so here we have how many of you guys have ever

gotten a box of cereal you expect that box of cereal to be full right I'm gonna

bring this over here let's open to Ephesians chapter 3 let's

talk about who Jesus is and I believe who G or who Mary found who Jesus was in

Ephesians chapter 3 verse 14 he says for this reason I bow my knees to the father

of our Lord Jesus Christ from whom this is paul from whom the whole family in

heaven and earth is named that he would grant you according to the riches of his

glory to be strengthened with might through his spirit in the inner man that

christ may dwell in your hearts through faith that you being rooted and grounded

in love may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and

length and depth and height the width the depth the length well the length

weight somewhere in there and height right of his love so how many of you

guys when you get a boat um a box of cereal it's not full right so reading on

it says that you may know the width and length and depth and height to know the

love of Christ which passes knowledge that you may be filled with all the

fullness of God this is not the fullness of God right so

let me give you a better understanding of the fullness of God yes I had my

another box of cereal no not full

okay I'm getting fuller you're gonna see full this is getting can kind of see it

popping up there now that's more like it

now I probably normally eat granola not this okay I'm thinking yeah if we put

any more in there like that would be more like the fullness so let's read

that again to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge that you may be

filled with all the fullness of God oh the firmness of God I know that I cannot

fit the fullness of God in this little pea brain of mine so I'm not even gonna

try to explain the fullness except that I know that the next verse kind of tells

us a little bit more now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above

all that we ask or think according to the power that works in us to him be

glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever now

praise the Lord to me that says we're not finished yet because when Jesus left

he said in John 16 that I tell you the truth it's going to be better when I

leave because I'm gonna leave you a helper and he is gonna fill us to the

full

and he keeps saturating us the Holy Spirit and he fills us from the inside

so that it is exceedingly abundantly above this is getting really full I

almost wasn't gonna do this without the plastic and I'm glad I did

oh we could ask or think who do you see it rise it's a good thing oh I bought

two well there you go I have another one downstairs another object lesson gone

awry but there you go if I added more milk to that he is fuller and more

abundant than we could ask or think because he fills us to the full and

beyond so praise the Lord oh and how good it is I'm gonna have to go get more

milk in between services I'm just saying

so praise the Lord now I want to finish up with this I believe that Mary thought

the same thing that other people thought when she when she was at the cross she

was with Mary heard her sister I'm kind of thinking that her parents didn't name

both their kids Mary so I'm thinking it was her sister-in-law said that Mary was

the brother or the wife of Clopas and so had a little footnote so I went over

there and sure enough the road to Emmaus has a guy named Cleopas that Jesus

appeared to after he died thought that was pretty cool that it could have been

his uncle who knows Clopas Cleopas sometimes they show different

or spelled differently it could have been his uncle and it was said that I

always thought it was two guys walking down the road to emmaus and they were

downtrodden they were sad so let's look at what they said in sorry in John 24

I'm sorry Luke 24 Luke 24 says in verse 18 then the one whose name was Cleophus

answered and said to him are you the only stranger in Jerusalem and have you

not known the things which happened here in these days and he said to them what

things so they said to him the things concerning Jesus of Nazareth who was a

prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all people and I believe that a

lot of the Jews believe that Jesus came to deliver them from this earthly

tyranny that was overshadowing them constantly but Jesus came to do so much

more than that he came to take care of an eternal issue and now as to reconcile

us to God so when I look at that I think I was putting myself in that situation

like what are the earthly things that I look at right now that are keeping me

from understanding the fullness of God and who he is - the abundance of

overflowing and noticing it of course Christmas right now can be very

distracting with all the gifts and parties and things that was like oh we

have to do this and oh I have to get that star just right and you know just

all the things just right and it becomes very stressful and people coming and

going and can't think straight but how much are we practicing the presence of

God every moment it says pray continually right so that's to me we're

we're thinking about who he is right now the fullness of who he is right now and

what about daily try of car troubles trying to make ends meet

you know whatever situations would come anxiety pastor Mario prayed for it this

morning that you know I've been anxious lately maybe because I had to speak

today but it was starting to create these issues in my body and I was nerd I

was like oh yes I went into the doctor and got tested and everything was fine

you know my heart is good my thyroid is good we're good like praise the Lord but

I was still having these excited moments and you know it dawned on me God is my

peace he's the one that is my answer Jesus came to give me that peace that

fullness of who he is you know so I thought it was awesome to have the

worship that we did you know just like totally forgot that I was gonna be

teaching and I was like worshiping and in God's face but I believe that Mary

got caught up in that but I really believe that she came to know who Jesus

was and his fullness at that moment when he said I thirst

What Was Fun - Duration: 3:38.

What is something you did on the project that you thought was fun?

Hmm...

Umm... hmm...

I think one of the things I always enjoy the most is actually putting together the activities for the curriculum.

And I really loved sitting and brainstorming on the calls with our center partners.

I worked at a center myself years ago, and so it was fun just to kind of be back with the people on the ground,

and getting to share my experiences and hear theirs, that was really fun for me and kind of brought me back home.

Working with people across the country, that's been really fun

and especially

when we get to

be together in person and you get to put a face to the name and

connect with each other on more than just what you're working on and

maintaining contact with people over the course of a year-- I've been working on the project for a year

and it's been so cool to see people

grow and change and be able to share my own experiences and

just feel like we have a community that spans the country.

I got to work with one of our community partners on making a presentation about social media

and it was really fun, like we put some like

Jeopardy and like or like

Family Feud-style like quiz games into it kind of warm people up in the morning, so that was really fun

and then also I get to interview people for part of this project and listening to different people tell their stories and

everyone's so different, but at the same time

people are working on goals

and they always --

everyone I've talked to was working on something whether they call it a goal or or something else.

Going through the videos--

kind of just a really interesting

shot into different people's lives,

so I guess that was kind of fun, hearing different stories.

So, oddly, I think I had fun with the staff meetings

and I guess going beyond that I would say our when we were able to travel together

and do the in-person meetings that was a lot of fun, too

and that was beyond just our staff then with all of our development partners

and it's one of the pieces that you know created those relationships and are those

relationships developed out of just having a good time together.

It was a really good balance -- the fun part about a project like this is a good balance between the

times I have to go, say, edit a video by myself for hours

and then I get to meet with a group of people and to strategize about design and

implementation that sort of thing. But the best part is always the people you get to work with.

Seeing how excited people get about it, and how much this means to people and also

when we wrote the grant it seemed like it would be a really difficult thing to create these curriculums

and it would be a lot of work, and it is a lot of work, but the products...

Products that we're getting and the curriculums that we're writing are

so much better than I ever even imagined!

And I think that's really fun and it's really exciting and I'm excited to see how the curriculums are used in the future!

Unflinching Whitney Houston film was the therapy a grieving, damaged family needed - Duration: 15:01.

In 1999, Whitney Houston was at the peak of her fame post-"The Bodyguard."  Her first album in eight years, "My Love Is Your Love," was hot on the charts and she was prepping a tour that would take her across Europe and North America

Advertisement  Wanting to tell her story at a time when speculation about her life behind the scenes was intensifying, the pop superstar gave Austrian director Rudi Dolezal full access to trail her on tour

Onstage performances, candid backstage moments with family and revealing interviews were all captured for what was a planned documentary titled "Whitney Close Up

"  However, the project went unfinished, stalling under the singer's refusal to address the substance abuse problem she was battling that ultimately led to her death at 48

One-hundred-plus hours of footage remained unseen for nearly two decades until last year, when Dolezal was approached to co-direct "Whitney: Can I Be Me," an intimate portrait examining how race, sexuality, addiction, identity and fame affected the singer

Much like Houston's life, "Can I Be Me" was marred by controversy.  It was denounced by the late singer's estate, which revealed it had commissioned an official retrospective of the performer, titled "Whitney," which premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in May and arrives to theaters on Friday

(Meanwhile, "Can I Be Me" premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival before quietly bowing on Showtime in August of last year

)  "[The filmmakers] really didn't want to follow the proper protocol when it came to working with the estate," said Pat Houston, who managed her sister-in-law's career and now serves as executor of her estate, of last year's documentary

"Whitney always wanted to do a film about her life," Pat continued. "But it should be handled by the people who knew her best

"  The arrival of two documentaries within a year of each other speaks to the intrigue and mystery that surrounds a singer whose meteoric rise in pop music and Hollywood was eclipsed by sordid tabloid tales of drug use and a volatile marriage, and those around her who want to change the narrative, and hopefully, salvage the reputation Houston tarnished while she was alive

"We all forget she was human," Pat said. "Whitney was everyone's girl … but she had the same issues and problems like we all do

We hope [fans] get answers that they need with this."  Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Kevin Macdonald with the full cooperation of the Houston family and access to the late singer's archives, "Whitney" is an unflinching look at the superstar — and nothing was off-limits

The film addresses Houston's insecurities with her blackness and sexuality; family dysfunction; that tumultuous relationship with Bobby Brown; and the addiction that crippled a woman who was desperate to correct course for herself and her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who tragically died in similar circumstances three years after Houston

"It proved to be one of the hardest films to tackle," Macdonald said. "There was so much secrecy and, sort of, this reluctance to talk about her — even from the family, who wanted the film to be made

It took a long time to get their trust and for them to open up as they're still living with the impact of Whitney's death

" Whitney always wanted to do a film about her life, but it should be handled by the people who knew her best

Pat Houston Share quote & link  Macdonald didn't set out to work on a documentary about the singer, and he actually needed to be persuaded

"I wasn't interested," he admitted. "Here was someone we all have this opinion about; it wasn't until I learned how misunderstood she was, in certain ways, that I was interested

" Advertisement  The idea for the documentary began with Lisa Erspamer, who grew close to Houston and her family while producing the singer's tell-all interview on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" nearly a decade ago

In 2015, Erspamer pitched Pat and Houston's film agent, Nicole David, who represented the singer from 1986 until she died in 2012

David suggested they bring on producers Jonathan Chinn and Simon Chinn — who agreed under the condition that the filmmakers retained full creative control — and she convinced Macdonald to helm the film

Houston's story had been well documented: her youth in Newark, N.J.; being groomed by her taskmaster mother and formidable gospel singer Cissy Houston; her days modeling, signing with Clive Davis; and setting the gold standard for pop in the late '80s with a record-breaking career that crossed over to film

We all read the headlines of "diva-like" behavior, heard the rumors about rampant cocaine use and chuckled when her name became far more synonymous with punchlines than her once pristine career

Macdonald doesn't turn away from any of that — one gripping sequence cuts through an uncomfortable onslaught of one-liners and harsh jokes directed toward the singer — in his mission to bring some clarity to Houston's public demise

He cast a wide net for his investigation, filming interviews with more than 70 people connected to Houston, and constantly had to "crosscheck" his interviews as he discovered how economical his subjects were with the truth

It was that slow reluctance from Houston's family to be forthright that pushed Macdonald to dig deeper into her story

From left: Michael Houston, Robyn Crawford, Whitney Houston, Gary Houston and Ellen "Aunt Bae" White backstage during one of Whitney's tours

(Courtesy of the Estate of Whitney E. Houston)  Houston's sexuality (described as "fluid" by her closest friends and colleagues) and her long-speculated romance with Robyn Crawford, her oldest friend and former creative director, has long been a subject of intrigue

Macdonald provides glimpses of the tenderness between the women while also showing the vitriol their relationship was met with by the singer's family

"Robyn was a nobody. She was an opportunist, a wannabe," Houston's older brother, Gary Houston, says in the film

"She happened to involve herself with [Whitney] for whatever reasons. … She was something that I didn't want my sister involved with

It was evil, it was wicked."  "I knew what she was, and I tried to tell my sister to leave her alone

"  "He was very angry," Macdonald recalled of his interview with Gary about Crawford

"I wanted the audience see that that's what Whitney had to deal with. That's what Robyn had to deal with

That attitude, which has its origins in their religious beliefs."  Pat, who began managing Houston in 2001, rejects accusations that Houston' s family is homophobic

(Cissy made headlines when she told Winfrey it would have "absolutely" bothered her if Houston was gay and she wouldn't have condoned it

) "It had nothing to do with her being gay and everything to do with control," Pat said of the family's distaste for Crawford, whose exit from Houston's inner circle is shown in "Can I Be Me

" "Whitney was the only girl, and the baby, and you're looking at a family that is extremely protective

It wouldn't have mattered who it was. It was about her not being around them." Advertisement  When asked about the statements he made about Crawford (who ultimately declined to participate in the film), Gary said he now regrets his words: "There were a lot of opportunists around us and people who wanted to gain something from our family

People wanted to deceive you and take advantage," he explained. "There were a lot of hurt feelings going on at that time and some of that was directed toward Robyn

We had our differences, but that's all. I said things about Robyn that wasn't right

" This is really a film about a family coming to terms with their own issues. It was therapy for them

They needed this. Kevin Macdonald, director of "Whitney" Share quote & link  Gary and Whitney's other brother, Michael, proved essential to Macdonald

Both toured with their sister — the singer employed virtually her entire family, to great detriment — and indulged in drugs with her with reckless abandon

But it was Gary's bombshell allegation that he was molested by cousin Dee Dee Warwick, Cissy's niece and the younger sister of soul singer Dionne Warwick, that changed the course of the film

"It was very difficult to talk about," Gary said. "But truth is won when you have the courage to accept the pain of knowing it about yourself

Hopefully, this will open up [people's] eyes."  Macdonald suspected Houston experienced childhood sexual abuse from watching archived interviews and noticing a lack of comfort in her physicality that was reminiscent of past subjects he'd interviewed who were abused

After a year of work on the doc, Macdonald's suspicions were confirmed during the last weeks of filming when he was told off the record about Houston's alleged abuse and how it might have played into her discomfort with her sexuality and fueled her self-torture

"It made everything click in place in a certain way," Macdonald said. "It made what was already a complicated film even more complex

This is really a film about a family coming to terms with their own issues. It was therapy for them

They needed this."  "Whitney" is the centerpiece of a number of projects the estate is currently overseeing

A rarities album is expected to arrive this fall, and there are plans for a traveling exhibit, a potential hologram tour, and eventually a biopic

Because the singer didn't record a lot of music in her lifetime, the estate is limited when it comes to packaging posthumous albums

"Her legacy is music," Pat said. "And it's about preserving her legacy. We want to give the fans what they want and not just come up with anything

We're only going to do projects that make her shine, and she would have wanted this

"

What is Novichok? The Salisbury poisoning nerve agent that's more potent than VX gas - Duration: 6:29.

The nerve agent that poisoned Sergei Skripal, his daughter Yulia and now a couple in Amesbury is one of the most deadly chemical weapons ever developed and was produced in secret by the former Soviet Union

Variants of the nerve agent Novichok are reported to be up to eight times more effective than VX nerve gas, that was deployed in the assassination of Kim Jong-nam, the estranged half brother of the North Korean leader Kim Jong-un in February 2017

One of Novichok's developers - a Russian scientist Vil Mirzayanov who fled to the US after turning whistle-blower - has said one of the variants had no known cure

Scientists at the defence laboratory at Porton Down, just seven miles from Salisbury, identified the use of Novichok as the weapon used in the attempted murder four months ago of Colonel Skripal, 66, a Russian double agent who sold secrets to MI6, and his 33-year-old daughter

On Wednesday, police said tests carried out at the Porton Down had established that Charles Rowley, 45, and his girlfriend, Dawn Sturgess, 44, had also been exposed to Novichok

Novichok - meaning 'newcomer' or 'new guy' - was developed in labs in the old Soviet Union from  the 1970s through to the early 1990s

It is so sophisticated only a state would have the capability of manufacturing it - and only Russia has done so

That explains why Theresa May was able to say with certainty that the attempted assassination of Col Skripal was either ordered by the Kremlin or else the regime bears responsibility for allowing the chemical weapon to be stolen from its secret laboratory

Charles Rowley, 45, and his girlfriend, Dawn Sturgess, 44, became unwell with similar symptoms to the Skripals  Philip Ingram, a former intelligence and security officer who has studied chemical warfare, said: "Novichok is a super, fourth generation chemical weapons that was deliberately designed to avoid standard Nato detection and defence mechanisms

"It is highly lethal and can only be produced in some of the most sophisticated state run laboratories

"  Novichok's existence was only disclosed by a Russian scientist turned whistle blower who went public in 1992 in the aftermath of the fall of the Soviet Union

Yulia and Sergei Skripal  Dr Mirzayanov, who worked on Novichok for 27 years, was arrested for treason but the case was dropped because any trial would force the Kremlin to admit it had secretly developed an illegal chemical weapon in contravention of international warfare treaties

Dr Mirzayanov, who fled to the US in 1995 fearing his life was in danger, said the Russians had developed enough Novichok to kill "several hundred thousand people"

Novichok, explained Dr Mirzayanov,  is a 'binary' product that created nerve agents out of two 'harmless' substances that when mixed together created a powerful poison

The Moscow weapons lab that made the deadly Novichok nerve agent  By tweaking the structure of agents, scientists hoped to create poisons that were more deadly to the victim, but safer to those deploying them

The tweaks also meant they would not show up in standard tests for better known chemical weapons

The Russian labs  created two types of Novichok nerve agent - A-230 and A-232.  Dr Mirzayanov, writing in 2009 in CBRNe World, a magazine for scientists working in the nuclear and chemical weapons industry, wrote: "Why are Novichok agents so dangerous? First, agent A-230, which was adopted as a chemical weapon by the Russian Army, is 5-8 times more poisonous that VX

Novichok in Salisbury: How could this happen four months after Skripal attack?  "It is impossible to cure people who are exposed to it

Next agent A-232. is a phosphate, like many pesticides. Phosphates are not listed among the controlled chemicals on the Chemical Weapons Convention lists

"  Prof Andrea Sella, an inorganic chemistry expert at University College London, said the Novichok agents were designed to be made active before use by mixing two less dangerous ingredient chemicals

The two-stage process meant it was safer to prepare and deploy by the user, but it also meant it could potentially be transported or smuggled more easily, he said

Novichok: what should I do if I think I've been exposed to nerve agent?  He told the Telegraph: "You could bring two relatively harmless compounds that could be explained away in other ways

Then you mix them together and off you go.  "The Novichok programme was aimed at making sure that the compounds were less fragile and harmful than some of the other ones

"
