Amid the ongoing trade spat between the U.S. and China,... the Trump administration is

moving to ban China Mobile, a state-owned Chinese wireless carrier, from entering the

American market,... citing national security concerns.

According to David Redl, the assistant secretary for communications and information at the

U.S. Department of Commerce,... "concerns about increased risks to U.S. law enforcement

and national security interests were unable to be resolved", despite "significant engagement"

with the wireless carrier.

Any ban would require the Federal Communications Commission's approval.

China Mobile is the world's largest telecom carrier with some 900 million subscribers.

Jeff Sessions Just Took The One Action Barack Obama's Deep State Feared The Most - Duration: 14:50.

Jeff Sessions Just Took The One Action Barack Obama's Deep State Feared The Most

After months of inaction, Attorney General Jeff Sessions has finally stepped up.

It's a day the Deep State's been dreading.

Trump supporters cheered when Sessions made the big announcement that the Deep State has

feared the most.

The Department of Justice announced that Inspector General Michael Horowitz would investigate

the DOJ and the FBI for abuses in their application to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on Carter

Page.

Horowitz will also examine the contact information between the FBI and a confidential source

– whom many believe to be Christopher Steele.

Steele was the ex-British intelligence agent who put together the Russian collusion dossier.

The Daily Caller reports:

"THE OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL (OIG) WILL INITIATE A REVIEW THAT WILL EXAMINE THE

JUSTICE DEPARTMENT'S AND THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION'S (FBI) COMPLIANCE WITH

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS, AND WITH APPLICABLE DOJ AND FBI POLICIES AND PROCEDURES, IN APPLICATIONS

FILED WITH THE U.S. FOREIGN INTELLIGENCE SURVEILLANCE COURT (FISC) RELATING TO A CERTAIN U.S. PERSON,"

DOJ SPOKESMAN JOHN LAVINSKY SAID IN A STATEMENT ACCOMPANYING THE ANNOUNCEMENT.

LAVINSKY EXPLAINED THAT "AS PART OF THIS EXAMINATION, THE OIG ALSO WILL REVIEW INFORMATION

THAT WAS KNOWN TO THE DOJ AND THE FBI AT THE TIME THE APPLICATIONS WERE FILED FROM OR ABOUT

AN ALLEGED FBI CONFIDENTIAL SOURCE."

LAVINSKY NOTED THAT THE INVESTIGATION WAS PROMPTED BY REQUESTS FROM SEVERAL MEMBERS

OF CONGRESS AND ATTORNEY GENERAL JEFF SESSIONS.

HOUSE REPUBLICANS RECENTLY RELEASED A MEMO CLAIMING WIDESPREAD ABUSE OF THE FISA PROCESS

ON THE PART OF THE DOJ AND FBI IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A SURVEILLANCE WARRANT ON FORMER TRUMP

CAMPAIGN ASSOCIATE CARTER PAGE.

THE TIMING OF THE INVESTIGATION AND THE REFERENCE TO MEMBERS OF CONGRESS POINT TO PAGE AS THE

U.S. PERSON.

THE STATEMENT'S REFERENCE TO A CONFIDENTIAL SOURCE SIMILARLY FLOATS CONCERNS FOUND IN

THE REPUBLICAN MEMO WHICH FOUND THAT THE FBI AND THE DOJ DID NOT DISCLOSE THE POLITICAL

ORIGINS OF THE STEELE DOSSIER IN ITS FISA APPLICATION AND REVEALED PREVIOUSLY UNDISCLOSED

TESTIMONY FROM FORMER FBI DEPUTY DIRECTOR ANDREW MCCABE THAT AN INVESTIGATION INTO PAGE

WOULD NOT HAVE OCCURRED WITHOUT STEELE'S DOSSIER."

This is bad news for the Deep State.

Even though Horowitz is an Obama appointee, he has a reputation for his honesty and integrity.

His investigation into the Clinton email server led to the discovery of the anti-Trump text

messages between Lisa Page and Peter Strzok.

And Andrew McCabe was fired because he misled Horowitz's investigators.

So this investigation will not be a white wash like the one James Comey led into Hillary's

email server.

The guilty parties will be found and they will be held accountable.

China issues U.S. travel warnings amid escalating trade tensions - Duration: 2:07.

Washington and Beijing.,.... are firing back and forth in different ways.

China issued a U.S. travel warning last week.... and the American government moved to block

China Mobile from offering services in the country.

Our Ko Roon-hee has the latest on the growing trade tensions between the two giants.

China's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday defended a security advisory to Chinese nationals traveling

to the United States.

This comes after the Chinese embassy in Washington issued a travel warning last Thursday….saying

public security in the U.S. is not good because of frequent shootings and robberies.

"Summer vacation is coming, and the summer is the high season for Chinese tourists going

to the United States.

I think this kind of reminder from the Chinese embassy and consulate is absolutely within

the scope of our duty."

U.S. news outlets are reporting that this move is related to the escalating trade tensions

between the world's two biggest economies... because China generally issues travel warnings

in regions affected by war.

Meanwhile, the U.S. government has blocked China Mobile, a state-owned Chinese wireless

carrier, from entering the American Market,… citing security reasons.

According to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration's post on Monday…

the U.S. Department of Commerce said "concerns about increased risks to U.S. law enforcement

and national security interests were unable to be resolved."

This all comes as the Trump administration's plans to impose tariffs on 34-billion U.S.

dollars worth of goods from China.

Beijing is expected to respond with its own measures.

And the ongoing trade-spat is not just between the U.S. and China.

Nations across the world are imposing retaliatory tariffs against the United States,... in response

to the Trump administration's tariff policy.

Canada, Mexico, and the European Union slapped retaliatory tariffs on goods produced in U.S.

The EU said the U.S. import tariffs on cars and car parts would harm its own economy and

would likely lead to counter-measures by its trading partners.

Do Republicans Actually Hate The U.S. Flag? | Prompt - Duration: 3:24.

Lately, there's been a lot of talk from Donald Trump about black athletes kneeling

during the national anthem in protest of police brutality.

If you ask us, dodging responsibility for promoting violence against people of color

by literally wrapping yourself in the flag is way more disrespectful.

In fact, it seems kind of obvious that Republicans…

hate the US Flag.

Now, I don't mean to flagsplain you, but having to stand up during the NFL's national

anthem only *started* in 2009, and it was only because the Department of Defense paid

sporting events 7 million dollars to show, quote, "more patriotism".

So if an entire nation is gonna shit it's pants over a hallowed tradition, it should

at least be older than my mascara.

And reminder: Trump doesn't give one shit about respecting military tradition.

And here's the other thing, about the Flag.

There is an actual "Flag Code", which is a specific set of rules and instructions

about how the US flag should be treated and honored, and, newsflash, Republicans and Conservatives

violate it more than anyone else in the entire world, and it's not even close.

First, according to code: quote, "The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding,

or drapery."

That means every American flag swimsuit, button-up shirt, and those douchey Tommy Hilfiger flag

shirts are, by law disrespectful.

And correct me if I'm wrong, almost every single Republican fundraising website sells

merch with the American flag on it.

Also, according to flag code: quote "It should not be embroidered on such articles

as cushions or handkerchiefs and the like, printed or otherwise impressed on paper napkins

or boxes or anything that is designed for temporary use and discard."

So basically every Fourth of July cookout ever is a giant "fuck you" to the flag.

Because it's not an Independence Day BBQ without resting your hotdog on a disposable

plate with the stars and stripes flag on it.

Also in flag code: "The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner

whatsoever."

Considering that Donald Trump literally uses the American flag, and the office of the Presidency,

to advertise his brand and make him and his family even wealthier… we're going to

have to call bullshit on this one too.

One more thing about the Flag Code: It also prohibits use of the flag as part of "a

costume or athletic uniform."

That means almost all sports team violate flag code on a daily basis by putting the

flag on jerseys and outfits.

But not a peep from Republicans.

Who, as I mentioned earlier, HATE the US flag.

Recently the NFL issued a statement that they're considering a 15-yard penalty for kneeling

during the anthem, which stems directly from comments by the President, which makes both

those rules and Trump's comments extremely unconstitutional.

It also seems like the NFL is stricter with players who peacefully protest than it is

with players accused of domestic violence and sexual assault.

I'm actually fine with the penalty as long as you also give a 100 year prison penalty

for being a Nazi or white supremacist, or ripping children from their families, or ushering

in a new age of fascism.

When white supremacists march with tiki torches and Confederate flags, The President defends

them, and calls them "very fine people" . . . but then when black football players

protest peacefully by taking a knee during the anthem, he calls them 'sons of bitches'

who should be fired?

Rosa Parks didn't protest a bus.

Gandhi didn't protest the clothes.

I don't eat at Chick-Fil-A because of the food.

This isn't about the flag, it's about focusing attention on racial injustice.

If you insist people respect the flag only the way you want them to, it is you who is

disrespecting the flag.

"My Life Was In Danger." Genderqueer Venezuelan Seeks Asylum In The United States. - Duration: 7:10.

My name is Ilo and I'm from Caracas, Venezuela.

When I was - it was 10 years ago, or something like that, I was in Venezuela.

I used to practice medicine there.

At the time, I started dating this girl who is originally from New York City.

And it was - it was really nice.

It was - I was very much in love and it was a very good relationship until a person in

our neighborhood, our neighbor, kind of started getting suspicious because she was staying

over in my house all the time.

She ratted us out to her family, who lived across the street from me.

When that happened, I - it's like our whole community found out about it.

I felt rejected in every aspect of my life.

My friends and people who were like my family asked me not to be part of their lives anymore.

Except when they were sick, they would call me.

My girlfriend's family who I grew up with, basically, and who I had as my own family,

stopped talking to me and they asked me not only to not come visit them, but they actually

asked me to move away from the neighborhood.

Added to all of this, life as a gay person in Venezuela was very hard.

People in general are not very receptive and they they make jokes about gay people all

the time.

It was also the police were a threat.

I remember one time, they - I was with one of my girlfriends and they stopped me.

There was no reason for me to stopped, but when they realized that I was gay, they tried

to take my car away.

I had to be really careful because they wanted to plant drugs on my car, just kind of to

create a very difficult situation for me.

The only way that I was able to get out of that was by paying under... you know.

And we were targeted all the time, so whenever I went out, I had to try to be with one of

my guy friends as a - what do they call it?

A beard?

A couple of months later, my girlfriend, who is from New York City, moved back.

And so I was now even in a worse place because I didn't even have her.

So I tried to get a visa to come and visit and and try to figure out what we're going

to do with our lives.

And I was rejected.

A couple months went by.

I was getting more and more desperate and one of my aunts finally reached out to me

and offered to help me with some money so that I could come here and practice medicine

and study.

So I applied for a student visa and I got it.

In three days, I got a ticket, I said goodbye, I packed everything and left.

Once in the US, it was amazing for me.

Suddenly I could hold my girlfriend's hand.

You know, for me, just that was such a difference from Venezuela.

I started as a student and I had a problem with my visa or something.

I was just studying to pass the boards and they told me that I needed to go back to Venezuela

after a year being here.

I was horrified.

It was - it's not a thing about lifestyles, because my life was actually in danger.

The situation in Venezuela had been getting worse and worse with the regime and everything

else.

As a gay person in a lawless country, it would have been fatal.

I talked with my girlfriend at the time and we decided to seek help with Immigration Equality,

which is a nonprofit organization that helps people like me.

They heard my story and they agreed that my life would have been in danger if I'd returned

to Venezuela and so they accepted my case and they helped me out.

I had to wait a couple of months before I could apply and in the meantime, I couldn't

work.

It was very hard for me because not only I couldn't work, but the money that I had saved

in Venezuela, I couldn't get out of Venezuela because the regime put all these rules and

didn't allow people to get their own money out.

So all the money that I had worked for, I had to give away in Venezuela.

It was useless here.

So I was pretty broke.

It was pretty - it was really hard, not being able to contribute and not knowing if things

were going to go through or not, it was really hard.

I was given asylum once the process started, like six weeks after.

It was incredibly fast.

One of the fastest cases, I think, that anybody has seen.

at least that I know of.

Getting asylum was a huge victory for me because, first of all, it meant I was safe.

And secondly, I could work.

Luckily enough, I found a good job, which I am still at, writing medical stuff and doing

videos about medicine and teaching all the doctors.

It's been a very amazing change that's gone little by little, but at this point,

seven years after getting asylum, I feel like, well maybe there was a reason for that or

the difficulties also have their very good side.

This year has been kind of crazy.

But I - in the middle of all these things that are happening in the world, I got citizenship,

in 4/20 of this year.

It's a reason to breathe even more and it's good to feel safe and that threat over my

head is kind of gone.

I still can't believe it but it happened.

I think before I used to live in absolutes and I had ideas about things - how they should

be and how they shouldn't be.

And now I understand that the condition of humanity is to not be an absolute and things

change.

Here I am, ten years later, and I feel like I've lived and I've learned, I think,

to have compassion, to not judge because we don't know what people are going through

most of the time, and the importance of empathy.

US Navy vs British Royal Navy - Army / Military Comparison - Duration: 9:17.

Since the end of World War II, the US and Britain have been close allies, supporting

each other through countless minor and major conflicts.

But how do the navies of these two nations compare?

That's what we'll find out, in this episode of the Infographics show, US Navy vs British

Royal Navy.

At the height of its power, Great Britain ruled over an empire so large that it was

famously said, the sun never set on it.

Through a powerful navy, this small island nation exerted its influence across the globe,

remaining on top of the world order for hundreds of years.

The US, by comparison, has historically fielded a much smaller navy, though its stunning victories

have become maritime legend.

After World War II, with the decline of the 'old' powers, the US invested heavily in its

navy, and quickly became the premier naval power of the modern age.

So how do the two navies stack up against each other today?

After the grueling wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, both nations are facing problems in the manpower

department.

For the Royal Navy though, this has meant the mothballing of two of its most powerful

ships due to a lack of qualified personnel.

Though it's 2020 plans call for a force of 82,000 sailors, it's highly unlikely Britain

will achieve this goal, as it currently only holds 32,000 seamen on active duty with 3,000

in reserve.

By comparison, the US Navy fields a force of over 319,000 active duty personnel with

almost 100,000 in the reserves.

However, though the US has not suffered from a loss of ships due to a lack of personnel,

its sailors- many of whom have been on rotating six-month deployments for over a decade- are

facing historic rates of low morale and 'deployment fatigue'.

While the Royal Navy has new ships in construction, it has also faced severe cutbacks to its budget,

which has reduced the number of total ships in its inventory to 73, of which only 30 are

combat ships, with the rest being support or patrol craft.

The US, meanwhile, has increased the budget of its navy, and not only has a new generation

of ships coming online, but is actively increasing the size of its inventory.

As it stands, the American navy fields a force of 284 ships, of which 160 are combat ships,

though new budgets call for a total force of 308 total hulls by the mid 2020s.

As the vanguards of any modern navy, the aircraft carrier is arguably the single most important

ship in any fleet.

The US currently operates 10 Nimitz-class supercarriers with 2 of its next-generation

Ford-class supercarriers coming online soon, and six more in acquisitions.

US Nimitz supercarriers are the largest warships ever built, at a length of 1,092 feet (333

meters) and a total displacement of over 100,000 long tons.

Each supercarrier hosts an air wing of 90 aircraft, though unlike any other navy, American

carrier air wings comprise a 'total strike' package of fighter, strike aircraft, early

warning, electronic warfare, and airborne refueling aircraft- making each supercarrier

a mini-airforce onto its own.

Through its carrier air wings alone, the US maintains a force of 900 total aircraft.

The British Royal Navy fields only a single aircraft carrier, the HMS Queen Elizabeth,

though a second Queen Elizabeth-class carrier is currently under construction and expected

to be operational in 2020.

As the largest ship ever built for the Royal Navy, the Queen Elizabeth comes up shy of

its American cousins at 920 feet (280 meters) and a displacement of 64,000 long tons.

It is equipped with 40 total aircraft to include dual-purpose fighter-strike aircraft and airborne

refueling.

However, due to a lack of arresting gear and catapult launch system, the Queen Elizabeth

can only launch STOVL (or Short Take-Off and Vertical Landing) aircraft which places a

severe restriction on the size of a weapons package each plane can be equipped with versus

an American plane.

As the second-most important element of a modern navy, submarines make up a sizable

portion of a naval complement.

The Royal Navy currently fields 10 total subs, with 6 guided missile submarines and 4 nuclear

ballistic missile submarines.

Of its attack subs, 3 are of its new, modern Astute class and 3 of the older though still

formidable Trafalgar class.

The United States, by comparison, deploys a total of 66 submarines, of which 52 are

nuclear-powered attack subs and 14 are nuclear ballistic missile submarines.

Of its attack subs, 34 are of the aging Cold War era Los Angeles class, which, along with

the 3 Seawolf class still in service, are being replaced by the next-generation Virginia

class of which 15 are already in service.

Destroyers make up the bulk of a navy's surface warfare component, with the flexibility to

provide both fleet defensive and offensive capabilities.

The US currently has 67 destroyers, of which 65 are of the Arleigh Burke-class, the first

ship designed around the formidable AEGIS combat system.

In service since 1988, the US Navy plans a future purchase of 24 more ships upgraded

to the Type III variant.

This leaves it with 2 of 3 planned Zumwalt-class destroyers, with any future purchases canceled.

Though currently the stealthiest surface ship in the world, the Zumwalt-class has been plagued

with cost overruns and a lack of mission focus.

This lack of focus, combined with the cancellation of specialized ammunition for its main cannon

which would have cost a whopping $800,000 a shell, has prompted America's congress to

cancel development of more ships, though the high-tech lessons learned have already been

incorporated into future ship designs.

The Royal Navy currently operates only 6 destroyers of the Daring class.

Replacing the Sheffield class, the Darings are primarily focused on anti-aircraft and

anti-missile roles, leaving them with a lack of anti-ship or land-strike capability versus

the American Arleigh Burkes.

However, their focus on anti-air and anti-missile missions has many defense industry experts

on both sides of the Atlantic considering them the best air defense ships in the world.

Unfortunately the future of Britain's destroyer fleet is in serious question, as originally

12 Daring-class destroyers were planned for procurement, only to have the number drop

to eight and then to finally only the six currently in service.

The designation of Cruiser, or Frigate, has varied in meaning over time and across navies;

it was originally the designation for scout and patrol ships during the age of sail, and

today it fits a niche that blurs the lines between different classes of ships.

Modern cruisers sit somewhere between the roles that World War II destroyers offered

as anti-aircraft and anti-submarine support and a battleship's capabilities to hit surface

ships and land targets.

Of the cruiser designation, the Royal Navy currently operates 13 ships of the Type 23

or Duke class.

Originally designed to counter Russian subs in the North Atlantic, the Type 23 still remains

primarily an anti-submarine ship, though it has shown great versatility in air defense

and land-attack roles over the last three decades.

Equipped with only 8 American-made Harpoon anti-ship missiles though, Type 23 ships remain

dependent on other escorts for protection from enemy surface ships.

The Americans, meanwhile, operate 22 Ticonderoga-class Cruisers.

At a displacement of 9,600 long tons, the Ticonderogas are twice the size of their British

counterparts, though this is due to their multi-role design.

Equipped with Tomahawk cruise missiles, a Ticonderoga can strike targets on land or

other ships while simultaneously defending against incoming air or missile threats with

its SM-2 and longer-range and more advanced SM-6 missiles.

Unlike the Royal Navy's Daring class, the American Ticonderogas are also equipped with

the RIM-161 Standard Missile 3- a high-speed and long-range missile developed exclusively

to destroy incoming ballistic missiles, though in the mid 2000s, the US Navy demonstrated

an ability to destroy enemy satellites with it as well.

With over three times the number of ships and personnel, the US Navy is significantly

larger than the British Royal Navy.

On the whole, American ships are better equipped to handle a variety of threats, making a single

American ship more threatening to a potential adversary than its British counterpart.

Yet British naval planning has for decades been focused on augmenting the capabilities

of their close American allies, not countering them.

American and British forces have for a long time trained and operated together, yet it

is their navies which are more intimately linked than any other branch of the armed

forces.

With its commitments to deterring aggression in the North Atlantic from a resurgent Russia,

and Chinese military expansionism in the South China Sea, the US Navy may be the most formidable

force on the high seas, but it would find itself hard pressed to conduct its global

mission of keeping the high seas free and open to all without its partnerships with

close allies such as the British Royal Navy.

So, which navy do you think is stronger and better?

So volatile I just I don't know who he is anymore

And then this morning he said I'm much more confident going into this rose ceremony than last week's I was like what

Something had must have happened he has some type of plan or he's feeling good about something. Yeah

So, I don't know what's gonna happen

I

Don't know yet what's gonna take place but at this point I do have nothing to lose I have only to gain

I want to show her and let her feel my passion in my heart and where I'm at as far as my head is concerned

Tonight I feel like kind of rejuvenated I'm feeling motivated and I'm feeling ready to fight

Things are about to happen

Surprise

Dress is crazy. Thank you. We sit down. I'm like

This is crazy, this is nice

I want to come talk to you. Hi

Thank you, I appreciate it. Um, yeah, so I feel like the last like week and a half

There's been a ton of distractions and it's kind of prevented me to

talk about anything besides the distractions and have been able to like talk to you about how I feel or

show you how serious I am so

tonight I feel like it's so important for me to put this on the right track because I

Strongly believe in you and I and I collegiate Emily say that I can see myself

there you at the end of this 100% I

Guess my question is what's changed?

because that's a big step to go from last week you questioning like where we are and

You being here versus now saying you could see yourself getting down on one knee

Like what brought that on? Like what's been a major factor in that? Well be huge

See see me getting down on one knee has nothing to do with me

Being upset and hurt because me not having time with you that night made me feel like I took a step back

I just felt maybe that night that you didn't care

and for me, I'm all in I

again, I don't know why you would think that I didn't care cuz up until that point I give you no reason to question or

I was in my feelings with you like I gave you

one of the very first one-on-ones for a reason and I don't know why you would go from

those great high feelings to

Being like I'm questioning everything

Does she like me I might go home

I'm not disagreeing with you at all

But I will say this I need you to like not think about that anymore like my passion and me being here right now

Should give you the reassurance to help, you know, like I'm in this and I'm not someone who gives up on something

I truly believe in. Well, here's the thing though. Like I came into this week

Donald Fagen, I wanted to leave that behind and not focus on Vegas like I don't want to talk about it anymore

because I keep want I want to keep taking steps forward and

now I

Feel like not only last night with the drama and during the day with the drama, but like it's kind of seeped into

my dates

Everyday in Virginia and that's been super frustrating

So, what do you want, I mean, I know that we've had this a little bit of adversity, but it's not

something that's

Created by you, and I it's been feigns that I blow I would beg to differ. Okay, you can disagree on that but

For me, I feel like this little adversity is not gonna stop me from what I believe in and what I want

Like I'm not gonna let it and something that I feel strongly about

And and that's where I was last week to to be honest. I feel like I still felt that and this week

I was really hoping for that. I was hoping that things would turn around

but again, like I

Have so many questions and ruts like now that I don't know if we can get there and I don't think

We can at this point

So, what are you trying to say there's

Been a lot that I've heard a lot that I've seen a

lot that I've

just felt and have witnessed like

in the past couple days not even around you but hearing things and it scares me I

Mean I didn't go into like a

Lobby with my bags and got into a shuttle and then like turn around my you did

I know that you think this way you're here

Am I not allowed to express how I feel though, but it's not even that it's not even at this point

Vegas aside that gets not the fact that you hear in questions being here. It's everything I've seen since then

And it's been a lot to take in a ninety third dance

I know if there's things been said I've been attacked for the last week and a half you have done some attacking

Again if I'm being honest my relationships and picking them apart and there are some really solid strong relationships

And I don't think that we're there and at this point, I don't think that we'll get there

And that's not fair to you to

Drag you through an entire rose ceremony tomorrow if at this point like I

know that

it's

Not gonna work out

All right

Okay, I'll walk you out I

Don't get them. I

Like it. I know I don't I'm get it seriously

I'm gonna walk you out because you deserve that and I don't need like I'll walk out

Well, I don't think you need anything, but I'm gonna give you that respect

We could just save our hair, it's fun. Yeah say goodbye Alice to do was she the best like I do

Take care

I

Am so disappointed and what just happened I mean with Chris for the longest time?

I felt good with him, and I thought that we were moving forward

But I think Chris is just a very angry person

Has proved that he's not for me

He's not somebody that I would want to spend my life

Who I would want as my partner who I would want to raise children with

He's not the guy I want in my life ever
