Putin 'Dark Forces' Conspiring To Bring Down Trump - Duration: 4:02.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that dark forces are plotting to
undermine us Russian relations and bring down president Trump we see that there
are dark forces in the United States that are willing to sacrifice Russia US
relations to promote their ambitions amid the domestic political strife in
America Putin said on Thursday information liberation reports they are
ready to sacrifice the interests of their businesses which are losing
multimillion-dollar contracts and Russian market in general as well as
jobs in the United States even though not many but still there are jobs in
place as part of cooperation with Russia he said we are talking about tens of
thousands potentially hundreds of thousands of jobs they are ready to
sacrifice the interests of their allies in Europe and the Middle East in
particular those of the State of Israel Putin said among other things we
discussed security at the Golan Heights during the operation in Syria apparently
no one is interested in it they are ready to sacrifice even their own
security transcripts by Russia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to digress
from the main subject I would like to say a few words on a personal note so to
speak we see that there are forces in the United States that are willing to
sacrifice Russia US relations to promote their ambitions amid the domestic
political strife in America they are ready to sacrifice the interests of
their businesses which are losing multimillion-dollar contracts and
Russian market in general as well as jobs in the United States even though
not many but still there are jobs in place as part of cooperation with Russia
we are talking about tens of thousands potentially hundreds of thousands of
jobs they are ready to sacrifice the interests of their allies in Europe and
the Middle East in particular those of the State of Israel among other things
we discussed security at the Golan Heights during the operation in Syria
apparently no one is interested in it they are ready to sacrifice even their
own security I would like to say that the news
our treaty will expire in 2021 generally speaking we could have lived without it
even several years ago but we took the correct step when we signed it unless we
start working right now to coordinate its extension it will cease to exist in
a year and a half we will simply not have this treaty when I spoke about
these forces you know this does not fit our political philosophy because we have
always been taught that officials working in the interests of the state of
society must think above all about and give priority to these fundamental
interests unfortunately there are forces in the United States that put their
narrow group and party interests before national ones our famous satirical
writers once wrote about such people miserable wretched people but this is
not quite so at least not when it comes to this case these are not miserable or
wretched people no they are powerful and strong people who can shove sorry for
the maulvis ton unbelievable and illogical stories in the face of
millions of their citizens yes they can really do this I am NOT saying this to
scold or commend anyone absolutely not I am saying this so that we take this into
account in our practical work in the American direction these are the facts
of modern life nevertheless Russia is open to further contacts with the United
States on an equal and mutually beneficial basis this is what not only
our people but the world as a whole need as the world's largest nuclear powers we
have special responsibilities for strategic stability and security

Kimberly Reed's 'Dark Money' turns campaign finance into a political thriller - Duration: 11:49.
The documentary "Dark Money" turns a story about campaign finance into a political thriller
Beyond that — in a veritable magic trick in these divisive times — viewers may well find themselves rooting for politicians who don't share their political views
"Dark Money," which opens Friday in Los Angeles, delves into a seemingly nonpartisan issue: the use of anonymous funds to influence political campaigns on both sides of the aisle
Advertisement Acclaimed director Kimberly Reed ("Prodigal Sons") first became interested in the topic after Citizens United vs
Federal Election Commission, the 2010 U.S. Supreme Court decision that political spending was a protected form of free speech
"I joked around for years that I was going to change my name to Cassandra, because nobody was listening to my prophecies of doom," said Reed, speaking by phone from the Nantucket Film Festival
"You could just see that campaign finance was going to get worse and worse, and I watched it happen every election cycle
" The outcome has been even grimmer than she imagined. In addition to the flood of corporate money that funded super PACs, a more insidious tidal wave started to wash over the country in the form of anonymous donations, or "dark money
" Groups with generic names like "American Tradition Partnership" began influencing campaigns without anyone knowing where the money came from
Looking for a way into the challenging material, Reed found it in the unlikeliest place: her home state of Montana
The reliably red state went for Donald Trump by 20 points in 2016. But Montana also has an independent streak, having sent Democrats to the Senate and governor's office
During the 2012 Senate race, more corporate money was spent there per capita than anywhere else in the country
"The airwaves were just blanketed" with ads, Reed recalled. She was horrified by the development, because she knew her history
A fourth-generation Montanan, Reed had first learned the cautionary tale of the Copper Kings in grade school
Industrialists who controlled the state's rich copper mines, they bought up local newspapers and politicians, openly bribing everyone to do their bidding
Outraged, the state's citizenry passed the Corrupt Practices Act of 1912, cleaning up their elections
The act protected them for 100 years. Then came Citizens United, and Montana was forced to fight for its rights
"In that process, I had gotten enough of that in my craw that I just wanted to figure out what's at the bottom of this," Reed said, so she headed back to Montana to follow the state's fate through next three election cycles
"It was a way for me to put a human face on what seemed to be a very complicated but important story," she noted
"Make it about people, not pie charts." Her longtime connections to the state helped, as did "bootstrapping it" by staying at her mother's home and using the family car
In the film, Reed celebrates the everyday heroes who are fighting the wave of corporate cash that influences elections
Folks like Montana's commissioner of political practices, Jonathan Motl — who worked to keep elections clean with a woeful lack of funding — and Republican state Legislature candidate Debra Bonogofsky — who started looking into dark money when her campaign was attacked — fight bravely against a huge, secret foe
But it's John S. Adams, a journalist diligently following the untraceable money trail, who quickly becomes the star of the film
Reed met him in the course of her research, and the two shared information, but it took her almost two years to persuade the reporter to appear on camera
"I don't even like the sound of my own voice, let alone my entire likeness on camera," Adams said, laughing
"Kim is a remarkable person, a really honest and straightforward person. I felt she would represent the subject well and responsibly, so I basically agreed to do it as a favor — not realizing at the time that I would become a primary subject of the film
" "He's definitely the lens through which we see the story develop," Reed said. "I thought a lot about 'All the President's Men,' and how that film was really modeled after following the reporters
" She followed Adams through personal trials as well. Facing a career crisis during filming, he became an independent journalist and moved out of his house to save on expenses
Reed was back home in New York the night he packed up to leave, so she asked him to record himself
"He's holding up his cellphone on one side of the garage, with me on the other side of the garage Skyping with him," Reed said
It makes for a poignant moment in the film. "I never thought that footage would see the light of day," Adams said
Advertisement What he and most of the film's other participants share is "a fundamental sense of fairness" that Reed finds common to Montanans
"I think that is rooted in the fact that we're living in a huge, beautiful, rugged state, where now and then you're going to have to depend on your neighbor to pull your car out of a ditch or give you a place to stay when your electricity goes out
When you're in an environment like that, you can't let political or philosophical divisions get in the way of treating each other with some humanity," she said
Dark money runs counter to that attitude. "If you don't even have the courage to stand up and take a different position, if you're just going to sneak around and attack people in the dark, that's not fair
" If fairness is crucial to state elections, she added, "it certainly holds true with foreign money coming into the most important election in the land
" Former Federal Election Commission Chair Ann Ravel appears in "Dark Money" to provide a depressing counterpoint to Montana's battle
"That's why it's such a good movie," Ravel said, "because Kim juxtaposes what's happening on the federal level with the hopeful side in Montana and in other states
" Ravel wasn't just surprised that the movie was so effective — she couldn't believe it was even made
Ravel had no idea who Reed was; she had agreed to the interviews "because I cared about the issues of transparency, so I don't care if it's on YouTube or wherever it is, I'll talk to anybody
" Ravel gave it no more thought until Reed told her the film got into Sundance. (It went on to win the Sundance Institute/Amazon Studios Producers Award
) "My hope is that once this film is seen by a much larger audience across the country, then it really could have the power to make a difference," Adams said
"I never would have imagined, when Kim started out, that that was something she could possibly achieve
But I think she has."

BART stabbing suspect has dark and violent past - Duration: 7:49.
Disturbing new details have emerged about the man arrested for fatally stabbing a woman at a BART Station in Oakland
Court records show that John Lee Cowell, 27, has a dark and violent past — with multiple arrests for battery and a laundry list of things he did to innocent people
At age 18, he was reportedly arrested for beating up a man and sucker-punching his daughter outside their home in Concord, California
Cops threw him behind bars at least five more times after that — and reportedly confronted him for fare-beating just four days before the BART stabbing
"He just wasn't in a normal state of mind," a former neighbor told the San Francisco Chronicle on Tuesday, citing repeated fights with his father
"He would come and would just start disrespecting his dad," the neighbor said. "His dad would try to keep it cool, and he would bring him in and let him stay the night and visit, but inevitably it would turn into something
It got physical." Cowell's family claims that he had a long history of mental illness
They told KRON4 that he suffered from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. In 2013, he was reportedly convicted of battery for an apparent attack in Walnut Creek
Cops arrested him two years later for being under the influence of methamphetamine and sentenced him to 90 days in jail
In 2016, Cowell was nabbed for petty theft, illegal possession of tear gas, possession of a smoking device, and drug possession — but the charges were later dismissed following another arrest and conviction for second-degree robbery
The robbery case stemmed from an incident at a local Lucky store, in which Cowell used a fake gun and box cutter to threaten the life of a security guard who reportedly caught him stealing
That very same year, Cowell was accused of making homicidal threats to a hospital receptionist
"Where the f— is my backpack?" he told the woman, according to court documents. "How the f–k do you not know where it is you crack headed bitch?" Speaking to the Chronicle on Tuesday, the receptionist claimed that Cowell repeatedly "threatens my life
" According to records, the 2009 beatdown in Concord happened right down the street from the trailer park where Cowell reportedly lived
His victim, 51-year-old Shane Glick, had been upset about his residence being burglarized and confronted Cowell and several other teens who were hanging out nearby
As Glick was talking to them, Cowell started pummeling him before eventually socking his daughter after she came outside to assess the situation
Glick told the Chronicle that he wasn't surprised by the fact that Cowell allegedly graduated to homicide on Sunday
"I wish he would get the death penalty for what he did to that poor little girl," Glick said
"She didn't deserve it." Cowell is accused of stabbing 18-year-old Nia Wilson to death on Sunday night at Oakland's MacArthur BART Station
He also stabbed her 26-year-old sister, Lahtifa Wilson, but she survived. Cops caught up to Cowell on Monday after he returned to the transit system and began riding an Antioch-bound train
Riders reportedly spotted him and alerted authorities. The troubled ex-con had been adjusting to life in the outside world after being released from prison in May, according to the Chronicle
He was supposed to do two years in state lockup — starting in October 2016 — but got released early for some reason
"The system has failed in this instance," Cowell's family told KRON4 in a statement
"This is in no way an excuse for this senseless and vicious attack." Sunday's BART attack was the third homicide reported on the transit system in less than a week
Straphangers were on edge Tuesday as they made their morning and evening commutes
"Maybe I should start driving to school, because I don't think I feel safe as a BART commuter anymore," tweeted one person
"All this s–t happening at BART, I'm real life scared to ever take my son on it," another commuter said
"You never know what's [going to happen]."

HiClip: The Dark Side of Dust Avalanches - Duration: 0:49.
Changes on the Martian surface
are detected by imaging the same area
more than once.
Here, we see several new dust avalanches
on the slopes of ridges
within the Olympus Mons Aureole.
These changes occurred within six years.
Dust avalanches create slope streaks
that expose darker materials
usually hidden below a lighter- toned layer.
Cascading fine-grained material
easily diverts around boulders
or alters direction when encountering a change in slope.
The dark steak in another close- up
is approximately 1 kilometer in length
that we didn't see in a previous image.
Past avalanche sites are still visible
and fading slowly as dust settles out of the atmosphere
and is deposited on the dark streaks over time.

Purple and Dark Lavender Hair Dye Tutorial - Duration: 10:03.
today I'm going to show you how to dye your hair purple as you can tell I have
colored my hair purple before and this is just like what's happening after this
is probably about like two weeks after I did like a medium to dark lavender so
I'm just like touching up and I'm gonna be using the ion color brilliance I
got two colors one is just purple and this is gonna be like for my roots because
I want darker roots and I'm gonna be using the lavender for all over the rest
of my hair
For starters what you need to do is just like brush out your hair it doesn't like
me do a super combed or whatever but just as long as it's like not knotted so that
you can get like a smooth application and a smooth like gradient from the
purple to your lavender
okay so after I did that um what I like to do I don't really section my hair I
kinda just like go I section it as I go so I just like to take down like the
first like little bottom piece and then like inch my way up from there so if you
want to do that right now go ahead
all right so this is what my hair looks like after I like sectioned it
okay so now what I'm going to do is put some coconut oil around the like
perimeters of my face and I'll on the back of my neck just so I don't get any
like color transfer just because I don't want a purple neck or a purple hairline
for a few days so I'm going to go ahead and do that right now
okay so after I do that I'm gonna just start I'm gonna start with the dark
purple because it's gonna go on our roots first and I'm gonna do my roots
all the way first and then switch over and do the lavender like I'm really
gonna try to keep it just like about right here like an inch away from my
head just because the color will bleed together and once you put on the lavender
you're gonna want to mix it so that you have like a smooth transition
okay also I forgot to tell you don't forget your gloves unless you want
purple hands I just get these at Sally's pretty much I get all of my stuff at Sally's
I think I dye my hair so much because there's a sally's like a half a mile away
from my house so it's in close range be careful with that
okay so I did decide to since my died it's so thick I'm gonna add just like
some white conditioner to it just so that it gets like a liquidy just was
easier to apply this will dilute the color a little bit but not too much that
it won't be a dark purple
okay so I did like change it up a little bit I don't know if you could tell it's
still kind of thick but it's thinner to where I like it's not gonna be like so
thick that it's like peanut butter or something this is more the consistency
of like following marshmallow fluff that's like my good consistency right
now
okay so this is what I have so far now that was saying it's just on the roots
only I try to avoid like most of the part like obviously like so I got some
little pieces in there but hopefully that mixes in and they don't look okay
so what I'm gonna do now is just empty the other two tubes of the lavender into
a bowl and just do the entire bottom of my hair and then I'll be back okay so
what we have is just our lavender into a separate Bowl I used one full tube and
then again just like I just saved the third of that one and this is just gonna
go everywhere else and kind of just mix it in just like with your fingers when
you're going through okay so once again I'm just gonna add in some of that white
conditioner just so I get the consistency that I like so that it is
easier to smooth throughout my hair
all right so this is the final product as you can tell it's like for the
most part all the same color here let me put this right here ignore the rest
my background right so this is what it looks like
my roots came out good I think like I like it because it's like subtle not
anything dramatically darker but and it's not styled
so all I did was blow dry my hair wash out the die and I use this Shea Moisture
it's vegan and cruelty free it also is sulfate and paraben free so it's good
for hair like that has been colored or treated so I use it in my hair whenever
I like dye it or whatever but yeah thank you guys for watching
I hope this was helpful I'll link everything that I use down below in the
description if you liked the video give it a thumbs up and possibly look
forward to my next hair colors comment down below
what my next hair color should be I'll probably film another video in about two
weeks doing a new hair color because this does fade out in about two and a
half weeks depending on how much you wash it so have a good day everybody
