How to make a FlatArch with Virtualoon

First we need to size the workspace. In this case I know that the Aeropole I want to choose, fits in 500 cm width and 300 cm height.

If you already have a picture of a FlatArch you could upload this as a background picture and start build your arch on top of the picture. Or you just use one of the Aeropoles we have in Virtualoon.

Remember, if the menu on the left is in your way, just click the X to close the menu.

I will show you the background picture for this FlatArch

Now we choose the first balloon. As you can see there is a mark on the center of the AeroPole.

I start in the center with one of the small balloons. This is a little different to what you would do when you actually make the Arch.

With the help of a background picture it is easy to get the approximately size of the balloon.

When you duplicate a balloon you sized it sometimes is hard to make sure you don't resize the balloon.

There is a simple trick for that. After you made the balloon smaller make a double click on the balloon, but not on the sizing/moving button.

Now if you double click on it again you can't make the balloon bigger, just smaller.

Now choose the balloon for the bottom and top row.

Size them approximately with the help of your background picture (if you have one).

Otherwise size them as soon as you have some more of the inner small balloons.

To make the white smaller balloon just duplicate the rose balloon and change the color of the balloon.

This way you make sure you have exactly the same size for both colors.

Finish this.

Now we add the top row. If you don't have a background picture you can size your balloons now.

You might have to duplicate the balloon like 3-5 times and place it before you have the right size.

If you use this design as a template you only have to do this once.

Do the same thing with the bottom line of the arch.

That's it. You're done.

This took me about 20 minutes to make, but I worked slow to show you what I did.

Remember, you can use this as a template and just change the colors for your customer.

Just to show you how close this is to the actual picture of the FlatArch I enable the background picture.

Thank you for watching. If you want to learn how to make that arch with real balloons please visit www.BalloonClick.com and become a member of Ken Stillman's BalloonClick.
