one that you may not like so much!
Once you set aside the spotlight, you'll see that there are dark corners of tinsel
town where a lot of secrets are buried.
While Hollywood wants us to view the industry as a magical world, getting hold of these
dark and ugly secrets will tell you how ruthless everything is and trust us, it won't be
a pretty site!
But if you insist on knowing the ugly truth, we have you covered.
So light up your torches and allow us to take you to the dark caves behind the glitz of
Hollywood!
Number 1.
Career boosting relationships Celebrities romancing each other is very common
in Hollywood but do these relationships always host honest feelings?
That might not be the case because of late, "showmance" has hit the scene and has
become quite popular!
Let's take the example of Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn's romance, they latest all
the way through the promotional tour of their 2006 movie The Break-Up, the movie premiere
and the DVD release - but ended swiftly after.
Very convenient!
Then there are the stars that become romantically linked just because they have a movie to promote.
The likes of Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, and Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have
been linked to this category because of their short lived affairs!
Nobody is openly accepting their "showmance" but we guess you guys will put 2 and 2 together!
Number 2.
Past in adult industry Apart from movies like American Pie, Nymphomaniac,
Wild Things and some more, we generally see a clear distinction between Hollywood and
the Adult Movie Industry!
By this we mean that we don't expect Hollywood A-listers to be featuring in erotic clips
but it doesn't stop them from trying this avenue!
Shocked?
Well, Sylvester Stallone starred in Party at the Kitty for $200 back in day when he
wasn't a big name.
He probably thought that this movie was forgotten and buried after the heat of the moment faded
but luck was not on his side.
When he became internationally famous after starring in Rambo, the movie was re-released
to cash in on his new found fame.
Ouch!
But he wasn't the only one, Cameron Diaz had previously shot a bondage movie, Marilyn
Monroe did nude photo shoots, and Jackie Chan starred in a 1970s adult movie All In The
Family.
We agree that such erotic work was done before their rise to fame but it is still shocking!
Number 3.
Unforgettable criminal past Hollywood A-listers are also humans and some
of them come with a criminal past!
You probably haven't heard much about the criminal records of the famous stars but that's
because their PR teams do a good job of brushing away such controversial stories away from
public eye!
Let's talk about the big name that is Mark Wahlberg.
When he was just 16-years-old, Wahlberg left one man blind after he assaulted him with
a wooden stick; he was sentenced to two years in prison but served only 45 days.
But the most shocking incident is associated with Matthew Broderick, who killed a mother
and daughter in a car crash in Northern Ireland.
His hired BMW crossed into wrong lane causing a direct collision when he was vacationing
with his then-girlfriend, Dirty Dancing actress Jennifer Grey.
Any guesses what came out of the case?
He was charged with careless driving and fined just $175, which the victim's family called
"a travesty of justice".

Number 4.
Starving before award night People around the globe look towards Hollywood
to know what beauty is and how to attain it, not realizing that the notion of beauty is
flawed to the core!
Why do you think Jennifer Lawrence said, "I'm starving, is there food here?" when she took
to the red carpet for the 2013 Oscars?
Simple, she was another victim who starved herself of food throughout award season so
that the media does not get a chance to scrutinize her body!
Actress Naomi Watts also confirmed the fad that has been dubbed "Oscarexia", she admitted
of keeping herself hungry!
It's not healthy and it's not right but the fake beauty standards have given rise
to a treatment called "Slim Wrapping" where you are wrapped in tight ace bandages squirted
with a mineral solution, before being forced to bounce on a trampoline for 50 minutes!
The pressure is real!
Number 5.
Cheating schedules There is no denying the fact that actors spend
a lot of time away from their family and loved ones while shooting at far off locations.
Now picture this, a group of the most charismatic people put together at a place where there
isn't much scope for contact with family and friends.
What would happen?
Love, exactly!
On the set of Stop Loss, Ryan Phillippe couldn't resists Abbie Cornish even though he was married
to Reese Witherspoon and had 2 children with her!
Oh and can we forget that Kristen Stewart was caught by the paparazzi kissing Rupert
Sanders, the director of Snow White and the Huntsman, leading to the inevitable breakup
of her and Robert Pattinson.
But the crown for being a home wrecker goes to Angelina Jolie!
Laura Dern was in a long term relationship with Billy Bob Thorton until he was cast in
Pushing Tin alongside Jolie and shortly after he got married to Jolie.
Any idea what Dern had to say about this?
She said that she was away from their home for a shoot and in the meanwhile her boyfriend
got married!
Ouch!
But this wasn't the only time Angelina Jolie broke a marriage, she started dating Brad
Pitt while he was married to Jennifer Aniston.
But the two of them divorced because Brad was accused of cheating on Jolie with Marion
Cotillard.
Well, what else was she expecting?
Number 6.
Illegal substances are included in budget Whenever a Hollywood celebrity is embroiled
in a tabloid cocaine scandal, the only people shocked are the public because for everyone
else, this just isn't news!
Now the justification is that actors are rarely the designated drivers so they can have all
the fun at the party and doing drugs is definitely a part of this fun!
They'll do it in the bathroom or even in public because hello, this isn't any secret!
The thing is that the drug problem is growing and it is all the more noticeable now because
media isn't shielding these instances.
Also prosecutors aren't star struck anymore and are willing to pursue a celeb if they
are a threat to public safety.
But what you don't know is that Hollywood tends to support the drug behavior of celebs
rather than take strict measures against it.
Take Jack Nicholson for example, he gave a controversial interview to People magazine
back in 1980, stating that drugs weren't a big deal and that he loved to get high 4
days a week, just about average for Americans!
But this wasn't the only thing, as per a rumor Jack Nicholson was so addicted to cocaine,
when he shot the Stanley Kubrick's The Shining; his "fix" was included in the production budget.
Wait, what?
