U.S. intelligence agencies believe North Korea has increased production of fuel for nuclear weapons at multiple secret sites in recent months and may try to hide these while seeking concessions in nuclear talks with the United States, NBC news quoted U
S. officials as saying. In a report on Friday, the network said what it described as the latest U
S. intelligence assessment appeared to go counter to sentiments expressed by President Donald Trump, who tweeted after an unprecedented June 12 summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un that 'there is no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea
'NBC quoted five unidentified U.S. officials as saying that in recent months North Korea had stepped up production of enriched uranium for nuclear weapons, even as it engaged in diplomacy with the United States
The network cited U.S. officials as saying that the intelligence assessment concludes that North Korea has more than one secret nuclear site in addition to its known nuclear fuel production facility at Yongbyon
'There is absolutely unequivocal evidence that they are trying to deceive the U
S.,' NBC quoted one official as saying. The CIA declined to comment on the NBC report
The State Department said it could not confirm it and did not comment on matters of intelligence
The White House did not respond to a request for comment. The NBC report raises further questions about North Korea's readiness to enter serious negotiations about giving up a weapons program that now threatens the United States, in spite of Trump's enthusiastic portrayal of the summit outcome
NBC quoted one senior U.S. intelligence official as saying that North Korea's decision ahead of the summit to suspend nuclear and missile tests was unexpected and the fact that the two sides were talking was a positive step
Share this article Share However, he added: 'Work is ongoing to deceive us on the number of facilities, the number of weapons, the number of missiles
We are watching closely.'Jeffrey Lewis, director of the East Asia Nonproliferation Program at California's Middlebury Institute of International Studies, said there were two 'bombshells' in the report
He said it had long been understood that North Korea had at least one undeclared facility to enrich nuclear fuel aside from Yongbyon
'This assessment says there is more than one secret site. That means there are at least three, if not more sites,' he said
Lewis said the report also implied that U.S. intelligence had reporting to suggest North Korea did not intend to disclose one or more of the enrichment sites
'Together, these two things would imply that North Korea intended to disclose some sites as part of the denuclearization process, while retaining others,' he said
North Korea agreed at the summit to 'work toward denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula,' but the joint statement signed by Kim and Trump gave no details on how or when Pyongyang might surrender its nuclear weapons
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said last week he would likely go back to North Korea before long to try to flesh out commitments made at the Trump-Kim meeting
On Thursday, the Financial Times quoted U.S. officials as saying that Pompeo plans to travel to North Korea next week, but the State Department has declined to confirm this
Ahead of the summit, North Korea rejected unilaterally abandoning an arsenal it has called an essential deterrent against U
S. aggression.Trump said last week North Korea was blowing up four of its big test sites and that a process of 'total denuclearization
has already started,' but officials said there had been no such evidence since the summit
This week, Washington-based North Korean monitoring project 38 North said recent satellite imagery showed North Korea had made rapid improvements to facilities at Yongbyon since May 6, but it could not say if such work had continued after June 12

Trump Supporter Could Lose Multi-Million Dollar Company to U.S. Tariffs - Duration: 4:56.
SOLEDAD: PRESIDENT TRUMP ARGUES THAT TARIFFS, A TAX ON PRODUCTS IMPORTED FROM OVERSEAS ARE IMPORTANT FOR NATIONAL SECURITY AND WILL BOOST THE U.S. ECONOMY.
HE EVEN TWEETED THAT TRADE WARS ARE GOOD AND EASY TO WIN.
SAY THE PRESIDENT'S TRADE POLICY IS COSTING MILLIONS IN REVENUE AND FORCING THEM TO CUT JOBS.
AMONG THE COMPANIES WHO HAVE CRITICIZED THE MOVE IS A REALLY DAVIDSON.
THEY ANNOUNCED THIS PAST WEEK THEY WOULD HAVE TO MOVE REDUCTION OUT OF THE U.S. SAYING THE PRESIDENT'S WI-FI PERCENT TAX ON FOREIGN STEEL AND FOREIGN ALUMINUM WILL COST $20 MILLION.
PRESIDENT TRUMP TWEETED, IF THEY MOVE, WATCH, IT WILL BE THE BEGINNING OF THE END, THEY WILL BE TAXED LIKE NEVER BEFORE.
IT IS NOT JUST HARLEY DAVIDSON, THE LARGEST NAIL MANUFACTURER IN MISSOURI SAYS THAT TARIFFS HAVE PUSHED THEM TO THE BRINK OF CLOSURE.
AND AN AUTO SUPPLIER OUT OF MICHIGAN ONCE THEY WILL NOT LAST THE QUARTER.
JOINING US NOW IS MARY BUCHZE IGER FROM SOUTHFIELD, MICHIGAN.
MARY: THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME.
SOLEDAD: TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT IT.
MARY: WE ARE A WORLDWIDE MANUFACTURER.
WE MANUFACTURE PARTS NOT ONLY IN THE U.S., BUT CHINA AND TAIWAN AND WE ARE GETTING INTO EUROPEAN OPERATIONS AS WELL.
AND WE PRODUCE ROUGHLY 80% OF OUR PRODUCTS THROUGHOUT CHINA AND TAIWAN RIGHT NOW.
SOLEDAD: YOU'VE GROWN PRETTY IMPRESSIVELY.
WHAT I READ WAS YOU HAD REVENUES IN 40 MILLION DOLLARS AND YOU WERE LOOKING REALISTICALLY AT MILLION DOLLARS.
IS THAT RIGHT?
MARY: YES THAT IS RIGHT.
OVER THE LAST TEN YEARS WE HAVE COME FROM UNDER 2 MILLION DOLLARS IN SALES TO OVER 40. AND WITH OUR CURRENT CONTRACTS AND OUR GROWTH RECORD WHERE WE'RE AT RIGHT NOW WE SHOULD BE AT OVER
50 NEXT YEAR.
OUR ULTIMATE GOAL IS TO BE A BILLION DOLLAR COMPANY IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS.
WHICH HAS A NICE RING TO IT , DOESN'T IT?
MERRY: IT DOES.
SOLEDAD SO YOU'VE BEEN REMOVED : FROM THIS LIST OF THE 25 PERCENT TARIFF, WHICH I KNOW WAS KIND OF WHAT SENT YOU INTO A BIT OF A TAILSPIN THE OTHER DAY.
YOU'VE BEEN TAKEN OFF THAT LIST.
SO WHAT TARIFFS DO YOU FACE RIGHT NOW?
WHAT IS THE RISK?
MARY SO WE WERE TAKEN OFF THE : ORIGINAL LIST OF 301S.
UNFORTUNATELY ON MAY 2013 OUR ADMINISTRATION CAME OUT WITH A NEW INVESTIGATION INTO THE SECTION 232 TARIFFS STATING THAT
THEY WERE GOING TO POSSIBLY PUT A TARIFF ON ALL IMPORTED VEHICLES AND ALL IMPORTED AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENT SOLEDAD: I HAD READ THAT YOU WERE GENERALLY -- GENUINELY
CONCERNED THAT YOUR BUSINESS MIGHT STRUGGLE OR NOT LAST THROUGH THE QUARTER IS THA STILL TRUE?
YOU THINK THAT IS A POSSIBILITY?
MARY: IF THESE TARIFFS WERE TO TAKE EFFECT. ABSOLUTELY.
WE POTENTIALLY COULD GO OUT OF BUSINESS.
YEAH I MEAN THE ORIGINAL SECTION 301 TARIFFS WOULD HAVE COST US OVER 7.5 MILLION DOLLARS ANNUALLY.
I DON'T HAVE THAT KIND OF MARGIN IN MY 40 MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY.
SO WE WOULD HAVE BEEN OUT OF BUSINESS WITHIN 2-3 MONTHS TOPS WITH A SECTION 301.
NOW THIS NEW SECTION 232 IS AGAIN WE DON'T KNOW THE ANSWERS.
SOLEDAD: YOU'RE A TRUMP VOTER AND A TRUMP SUPPORTER.
HE WAS PRETTY CLEAR DURING HIS CAMPAIGNING THAT THAT TARIFFS WAS GOING TO BE NOT JUST ON THE TABLE BUT YOU KNOW HE REALLY HAD A PLAN TO GET INTO A TARIFF FIGHT WITH CHINA.
HE SPELLED IT OUT PRETTY OFTEN.
MARY: WE SUPPORT THE NEED FOR CHANGE BECAUSE YOU KNOW THERE ARE - THERE ARE TRADE DEFICITS.
THERE ARE DEFINITELY TECHNOLOGICAL- TECHNOLOGY ISSUES WITH CHINA.
BUT WE WOULD HOPE FOR A BETTER EXECUTION.
TARIFFS ARE NO MORE THAN A TAX ON AMERICAN COMPANIES. AND I DON'T THINK THAT REALLY PEOPLE UNDERSTAND THAT.
SOLEDAD: I THINK YOU'RE RIGHT ABOUT THAT I DON'T THINK PEOPLE - IT SOUNDS VERY FANCY. BUT IT'S JUST CONSUMERS PAY MORE. THAT'S THE TAKE AWAY.
KATHERINE: -- MARY: THAT IS ALL IT IS.
PEOPLE DON'T GET THAT IT'S A TAX ON AMERICAN COMPANIES AND AMERICAN CONSUMERS. IF THESE, IF ALL OF THESE TARIFFS THAT ARE IN PLACE RIGHT NOW AGAINST THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY WERE TO
ACTUALLY COME INTO FORCE. AND THEY'RE ESTIMATING RIGHT NOW, THE GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE ALLIANCE, RIGHT NOW IS ESTIMATING THAT VEHICLES COULD GO UP BY MORE THAN $6,000 PER VEHICLE.
SO AT THE END OF THE DAY THAT'S JUST THE AMERICAN CONSUMER PAYING THESE.
SOLEDAD: WHAT HAPPENS IS AMERICAN CONSUMERS DON'T PAY IT AND PEOPLE DON'T BUY VEHICLES

US Army 'fired on UFO at Los Angeles leaving 5 dead before major cover up,' claims expert - Duration: 6:45.
He has analysed a photograph of the bizarre event, that he suggests was then covered up by officials, who explained it away as a weather balloon
Mr Gleaves research has been published in the book UFO PHOTO, published by Flying Disk Press
He said: "The US Army started its constant non-stop bombardment firing thousands of artillery rounds at the unknown object, all to no avail
"The first shots rang out starting late evening on February 24 and continued well into the early hours of the 25th
"At 3.16am the 37th Coast Artillery Brigade began firing .50 calibre machine guns and 12
8-pound anti-aircraft shells at the reported unidentified object; over 1,400 shells would eventually be fired at the object in total
"US Air Force pilots of the 4th Interceptor Command Squadron were alerted and put on standby but their aircraft remained grounded
"The artillery fire continued sporadically until 4.14am when the 'all clear' was finally sounded and the total blackout order lifted at 7
21am. "Several buildings and vehicles were severely damaged by falling shell fragments and five civilians died as an indirect result of the anti-aircraft fire: three killed in car accidents in the ensuing chaos and two of heart attacks attributed to the stress of the action
"Considering the duration which elapsed and thousands of people who witnessed the unforgettable event there aren't many clear quality photographs available to analyse
"The one true detailed image available had been taken at the time by a newspaper photographer working for the Los Angeles Examiner
" The UFO expert looked at this photograph in detail for the book. He said: "Upon analysing the best quality image available in more detail using up-to-date digital enhancement software, it brings to life and enhances the never seen before detail of the object revealing its in-depth features surrounding the structure, which importantly raise more questions as to its original origin
"The photograph of the initial incident was taken over the Los Angeles area at night over an estimated area of five miles
"Standard aircraft search lights where located at strategic locations around the city because of the high threat of air raids
"Central in the original image which was analysed is a large illuminated object which appears stationary but we have confirmation from witnesses that it was moving at a steady constant speed and transit also show in the original image are multiple smaller flashes of light (exploding artillery shells) surrounding it's entirety together with the numerous searchlight beams criss-crossing across the sky possibly looking for more unknown aerial objects
"The unknown object eventually moved at a steady speed over nearby Long Beach and vanished out of view over the Palos Verdes hills as the guns finally fell silent
" Mr Gleaves said before the "cover up" the incident made front-page news along the US Pacific coast when it happened overnight on February 24 just three months after the US joined World War 2 in December 1941
He said they initially assumed they were under attack from the Japanese Air Force or the German Luftwaffe
He said: "Little did they know the object could have possibly come from a more far distant place, maybe out of this world
" Despite thousands of witnesses, a subsequent press conference played down events
Mr Gleaves said: "The event secretary of the Navy, Frank Knox called the unbelievable incident a 'false alarm,' trying to play down the event
"A few years later when documenting the dramatic incident, the United States Coast Artillery Association identified the unknown object as a meteorological balloon sent up at 1am that initially 'started all the shooting' and concluded that 'once the firing started, imagination created all kinds of targets in the sky and everybody joined in
' "Much later during 1983, the US Office of Air Force History attributed the incident to a case of obvious anxiety and 'war nerves' triggered by a report of a lost rogue weather balloon and exacerbated by stray flares and bright shell bursts from adjoining ground batteries
" Despite the research, Mr Gleaves says the case remains unsolved. He said: "Still to this day the object is unidentified I have inverted and filtered the original available source image to analysis and enhance the detail using up-to-date enhancement techniques
"

US Beaches INFESTED With Flesh Eating Creatures - Duration: 3:11.
If you live in Florida or you're planning to go to Florida, there's a nasty surprise
waiting for you in the water.
The Florida department of health has issued a warning that there is a quote, eruption
of stinging microscopic sea lice, and I'm going to tell you everything you need to know,
here for you on IO.
Welcome back to inform overload I'm Charlotte Dobre.
If you need a place to get your news on YouTube, make sure you subscribe to IO.
Do it.
Right now.
I'll wait.
Alright so…apparently there are tiny flesh eating creatures infesting Florida's coastal
area.
These creatures are nicknamed sea lice, but they aren't lice at all.
They are actually larvae of a type of jellyfish, thimble jellyfish.
The larvae, even though they are small, they shoot out the same cells that jellyfish sting
you with with their tentacles, Nematocysts.
Nematocysts actually have a barbed venomous hook.
The problem is, you can't really see these larvae with the naked eye, so if you're
swimming, you can just end up in a swarm of them out of nowhere.
A single person can be stung more than 100 times after the larvae gets trapped between
skin and bathing suits.
If you come into contact with nematocysts, you'll experience a really, really itchy
rash that should go away eventually, but for the time being, could erupt into painful blusters,
cause nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, muscle spasms, headaches and difficulty sleeping.
The treatment for these stings require you to go to the hospital for antihistamines and
medications.
Oh, and you won't be able to go swimming for at least a week, maybe two.
According to the director of Pensacola beach's public safety, they aren't very intense,
which is why we call them sea lice and not sea hornets or sea wasps.
The national institutes of health recommends applying vinegar to your skin to prevent bites.
Another preventative measure is don't wear huge swim trunks or a one piece.
Those types of bathing suits trap sea lice.
If you have swam in an area affected with sea lice, Once you're out of the water,
take of your bathing suit immediately, and shower with warm water.
Don't shower in a bathing suit that has Ben exposed to sea lice.
If you're wondering if your favorite beach is affected, lifeguards are going to be putting
up purple flags to alert swimmers.
So far, the worst affected beaches are in Pensacola, but its believed this could affect
most of the beaches along the 400 kilometers or 250 miles of Florida's southern coastal
area.
This isn't the first time the coast of Florida has been affected.
There's been records of outbreaks of sea lice for the last 100 years.
They are often found in the warm waters of the Caribbean sea and on the gulf coast during
the summer between April and July.
But for some reason, in the last 4 years, the amount of sea lice has gotten worse.

THIS COMMENT REALLY MADE US THINK!!! - Duration: 21:16.
People watch,
but we don't have a conversation. But if people make a suggestion, and we talk about it, it's like we're communicating with each other more.
That's a good point
Rather than to nourish the 9/10
Doris: Because this is something we already knew
I feel like it was there the whole time.
It's like someone telling you, drink water, it's good for you.
We are making obstacles for ourselves,
like we're making walls for ourselves.
Like, oh I don't like this, what will people think, and then we leave it.
They want us to make longer videos, because if someone likes you, they want to see more of your content.
I know some people will say, I don't want to be seen that way.
Yes, I agree with that, but what I mean is, there's negative and positive, and you want to base on just the positive
What is the worst that could happen if you were to ignore the hate?
This sister, she has 3 kids, and she's always positive
You can imagine, if someone has three kids, she's a single mom, she doesn't have much support, she hustles on her own to survive,
But still, she won't bring that negativity. The life that she's chosen for herself, she wants to be happy, so she will be.
It's not like we don't struggle with negative things, but why should you concentrate on the negative?
Why should you let the negative effect you so much you can't even do what you want to do anymore.
Look at the comment that we just got. It's not like they are just giving us compliments.
Think about it, on my side, they said, if I'm trying to explain myself, and English isn't my first language, it's fine, just speak Swahili, and translate it for us.
It's like a parent. A parent can take something from you, like you want to eat something, and they say no, and take it away, because it's not good for you.
It's not like they hate you and want to take something away from you. They love you, so they will tell you don't eat this.
If you really love someone, you can see where they are struggling.
I know we've gotten a lot of good comments, that's why we keep going.
Getting this one, it compelled us more. It was like, yes, we see you, we see how you are struggling, but it's okay, we understand.
I've tried to put myself out there more
Maybe out of 10, I've gotten half way.
And you, maybe you are still at around 2, and you're trying to get higher.

China Just Did One Thing That Means War With The United States - Duration: 11:14.
China Just Did One Thing That Means War With The United States
One of Donald Trump's campaign promises was to stand up to China.
That is one promise he followed through to a tee.
But now China is sick of it, and just did one thing that means war with the United States.
Since being elected, there is perhaps no promise that he took as seriously as standing up to
China.
For many years he has been sounding the alarm about trade deals with China that have ripped
off the United States.
So in the most "America First" fashion possible, President Trump has stopped talking
and made a major threat to slap a ten percent tariff on $200 billion worth of Chinese goods.
To anyone who supports Donald Trump's economic nationalism, this is a great move that undoubtedly
would lead towards both fairer deals and further U.S. manufacturing.
For China, and the anti-Trump crowd it is disastrous.
For China, it will undoubtedly harm their economy, which is the point.
To the anti-Trumpers, they believe it will create immense harm to the U.S. economy because
of increased costs on Chinese goods.
China is so upset about President Trump's threats that they have threatened to retaliate
against Trump for launching what they believe, probably correctly, is a trade war.
The Chinese Ministry of Commerce said in a statement on their website that "[t]he United
States has initiated a trade war," before threatening to fight back against President
Trump.
Fighting back against President Trump in a trade war would end badly for China.
China benefits much more heavily from trading with the United States than the United States
does trading with China.
In classic "Art of The Deal" fashion President Donald Trump knows this.
After all, he wrote the go-to book on deals.
One of the central tenets of Trump's book is "using your leverage."
And in this case, President Donald Trump has $200 billion of leverage against China.
That leverage will eventually force China to come to the negotiating table.
This is something that no other President was willing to do.
The most sure-fire way to create more jobs in the United States is to encourage more
manufacturing.
In the past, there wasn't much incentive to manufacture U.S. goods, and China had an
unfair advantage in the market.
It is hard to promote free trade with a country that has an unfair advantage.
That's why President Trump is so supportive of "fair trade," which puts American interests
first.
This is a stark contrast to the strategy by former President Barack Obama, who was fine
with foreign countries having freer trade with the United States than domestic manufacturers,
who were tacked with heavy regulations.
During his eight-year reign, China had it made, while Americans were forced to struggle
for work.
But thankfully Donald Trump was elected President, who believes the exact opposite of Obama and
is making that clear with his policies.
And the fact that the unemployment rate is at near-historic lows shows that Trump's
plans are working.
Do you support President Trump's trade policy with China?

U.S. urges China to maintain high level of sanctions pressure on North Korea - Duration: 2:09.
The United States is urging China to continue implementing tough sanctions on North Korea
so the regime feels the pressure to denuclearize.
There are concerns in Washington that that Beijing might be backsliding on its commitment
to keep turning the screw on Pyongyang.
Kim Hyesung reports.
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is pressing China on the need to enforce sanctions on
North Korea.
The State Department says Pompeo spoke with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi this week
and emphasized the importance of full enforcement of all relevant UN Security Council resolutions
related to the North until it achieves complete denuclearization.
It said preventing North Korea's illegal export of coal and ship-to-ship transfers of oil
is particularly critical.
At a Senate hearing this week, Pompeo also warned he had seen modest backsliding from
Beijing, saying China is not enforcing control over their cross border areas as vigorously
as they were six or twelve months ago.
Pompeo also spoke with South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha on Friday to discuss
the next steps on engagement with North Korea, and agreed on the need to maintain pressure
on the North.
China is North Korea's number one trading partner that accounts for around 90 percent
of its total trade.
Washington's pressure on Beijing to enforce sanctions comes as Pompeo plans to travel
to North Korea in the coming days to discuss detailed denuclearization plans, according
to the Financial Times.
There are concerns on the U.S. side that China's move to soften sanctions on the North could
affect its attitude to commit to denuclearization.
In fact, China and Russia have presented a proposal in the UN Security Council that would
ease pressure on North Korea.
Diplomatic sources linked to the council say U.S. officials refused to back the draft press
statement, saying North Korea's denuclearization must come first.
In a statement Friday, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Lu Kang suggested sanctions should
be modified to reflect the North's efforts to denuclearize.
He also urged the UN to mediate talks with North Korea, and called for the Security Council
to facilitate a "political settlement."

Protesters hit streets in cities across U.S. over Trump immigration policy. | News Headlines - Duration: 5:45.
Thousands of protesters across America, moved by accounts of children separated from their
parents at the U.S.-Mexico border, marched Saturday -- in major cities and tiny towns
-- to demand President Donald Trump's administration reunite the divided families.
More than 700 planned marches are expected to draw hundreds of thousands of people across
the country, from immigrant-friendly cities like Los Angeles and New York to conservative
Appalachia and Wyoming under the banner Families Belong Together.
Thousands dressed in white and gathered early Saturday morning in sweltering 90-degree heat
in Lafayette Park across from the White House in what was expected to be the largest of
the day's protests.
"What's next?
Concentration Camps?" one marcher's sign read.
"I care, do you?"
read another, referencing a jacket the first lady wore when visiting child migrants amid
the global furor over the administration's zero-tolerance policy that forced the separation
of more than 2,000 children from their parents.
Her jacket had "I really don't care.
Do you?"
scrawled across the back, and that message has become a rallying cry for Saturday's protesters.
"We care!" marchers shouted outside city hall in Dallas.
Organizer Michelle Wentz says opposition to the administration's "barbaric and inhumane"
policy has seemed to cross political party lines.
Marchers carried signs that read "Compassion not cruelty" and "November is coming."
In New York City, thousands began chanting "shame!" and singing "shut detention down!"
before their planned march across the Brooklyn Bridge.
Smaller groups came together in city parks and downtown squares in every state, a total
of 703 places across the country, and photos quickly started ricocheting around social
media.
Some carried tiny white onesies.
"What if it was your child?" was written on one.
"No family jails," said another.
Children joined in.
A little girl in Washington, D.C., carried a handwritten sign: "Honestly, I am blown
away.
I have literally never seen Americans show up for immigrants like this," said Jess Morales
Rocketto, political director at the National Domestic Workers Alliance, which represents
nannies, housekeepers and caregivers, many of whom are immigrants.
"We just kept hearing over and over again, if it was my child, I would want someone to
do something."
Saturday's rallies are getting funding and support from the American Civil Liberties
Union, MoveOn.org, the National Domestic Workers Alliance and The Leadership Conference.
But local organizers are shouldering on-the-ground planning, many of them women relying on informal
networks established during worldwide women's marches on Trump's inauguration and its anniversary.
Tyler Houlton, a spokesman for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, welcomed interest in
the immigration system and said only Congress has the power to change the law.
"We appreciate that these individuals have expressed an interest in and concern with
the critical issue of securing our nation's borders and enforcing our immigration laws,"
Houlton said.
"As we have indicated before, the department is disappointed and frustrated by our nation's
disastrous immigration laws and supports action."
Trump took to Twitter on Saturday morning to show his support for Immigration and Customs
Enforcement amid calls from some Democrats for major changes to immigration enforcement.
Tweeting from New Jersey, Mr. Trump said that Democrats "are making a strong push to abolish
ICE, one of the smartest, toughest and most spirited law enforcement groups of men and
women that I have ever seen."
He urged ICE agents to "not worry or lose your spirit."
In Portland, Sharaf and other mothers who organized the rally hope to attract 5,000
people.
Right-wing activists with the group Patriot Prayer also have a permit to march later in
the day Saturday and the Portland Police Bureau said Friday they planned to have a heavy police
presence.
Sharaf and co-organizer Erin Conroy have coordinated with immigrant advocacy groups.
"This is not my wheelhouse," Conroy said.
"As far as I'm concerned, this is a national emergency that we all need to be focused on
right now."
Immigration attorney Linda Rivas said groups have met with U.S. authorities, congressional
representatives and other leaders to discuss an escalating immigration crackdown that they
say began decades ago.
But the family separation policy has been a watershed for attracting a broader spectrum
of demonstrators, she said.
"To finally have people on board wanting to take action, marching, taking to the streets,"
Rivas said.
"It's been motivating for us as advocates because we have to keep going."
On Thursday, more than a thousand people and organizations including the ACLU, the ACLU
of Texas and United We Dream gathered in Texas to demand that separated families be immediately
reunited, the ACLU said in a news release.
They gathered in Brownsville, which according to the ACLU is one of the "hardest hit" areas
under the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" policy.
"The administration doesn't have a plan to reunite families.
But we have a plan," said Terri Burke, executive director of the ACLU of Texas.
"We are going to keep fighting.
Refugees are welcome here, immigrants are welcome here.
We won't stop until every single child is reunited."

California Reluctantly Bans New Soda Taxes In Face Of Industry Threat - Duration: 4:37.
California, the state that has passed more local sugary beverage taxes than any other, has reluctantly banned any new ones for the next 12 years after a shakedown from beverage lobbyists spooked lawmakers
The legislation Gov. Jerry Brown (D) signed Friday prevents new taxes on any groceries until 2031 but is squarely aimed at the so-called soda taxes currently under consideration in four California cities ― and at the likelihood that more cities would also take a cue from Berkeley, which sparked a trend when it passed the nation's first soda tax in 2014 to combat the health threats posed by sugary drinks
But the lawmakers who introduced the latest legislation weren't going after soda taxes; they were looking for a way to combat a ballot measure backed by beverage interest groups
In response to the soda taxes up for consideration, Brown explained in his decision Friday, "the beverage industry has circulated a far reaching initiative that would, if passed, raise the approval threshold from 50% to two-thirds on all measures, on all topics in all 482 cities" in California
The proposal alarmed mayors from "countless cities," Brown said, and forced his hand on the bill
The California Business Roundtable has since withdrawn that ballot measure, NBC News reported, State Sen
Scott Wiener (D), who voted against the tax ban legislation but said he respects his colleagues who supported it, didn't hold back in excoriating the beverage industry, whose political maneuvering over this amounts to holding the legislature hostage
In a truly vile move, the soda industry aimed a nuclear weapon at CA by funding a ballot measure to make it nearly impossible for cities to raise revenue
The ransom to withdraw the measure? Requiring the Legislature to pass a 12-year ban on new local soda taxes to protect health— Scott Wiener (@Scott_Wiener) June 28, 2018 To be very clear: The soda corporations - Coca Cola, Pepsi, Snapple, Red Bull - are now a rogue industry
They're willing to burn down the house to protect their bottom line & ability to sell dangerous products that give kids diabetes
#Karma— Scott Wiener (@Scott_Wiener) June 28, 2018 San Francisco, one of the cities Wiener represents, is one of a handful of California cities with soda taxes already in place
The legislation signed Friday will allow that taxation to continue. With the beverage industry's expensive campaigns against soda taxes in cities like San Francisco proving unreliable, techniques like the one used with this ballot measure may become more common as the soda tax trend spreads nationwide, The New York Times wrote this week
In an open letter to the governor on Tuesday, American Heart Association CEO Nancy Brown said she hoped he would prioritize the health consequences connected to soda consumption, which studies show may have a dangerous effect on the body unmatched by other sugary items
"These companies profit from sugary drinks ― the leading source of added sugar in the American diet ― and they spend millions of dollars marketing them to California kids," she wrote
"I have to tell you, I was shocked by reports that you would secretly negotiate such a deal to take away the ability of Californians to raise revenue that funds important community priorities and to help fight heart disease, stroke and diabetes

Google weeps as its home state of California passes its own GDPR - Duration: 10:29.
California has become the first state in the US to pass a data privacy law – with governor Jerry Brown signing the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 into law on Thursday
The legislation will give new rights to the state's 40 million inhabitants, including the ability to view the data that companies hold on them and, critically, request that it be deleted and not sold to third parties
It's not too far off Europe's GDPR. Any company that holds data on more than 50,000 people is subject to the law, and each violation carries a hefty $7,500 fine
Needless to say, the corporations that make a big chunk of their profits from selling their users' information are not overly excited about the new law
"We think there's a set of ramifications that's really difficult to understand," said a Google spokesperson, adding: "User privacy needs to be thoughtfully balanced against legitimate business needs
" Likewise tech industry association the Internet Association complained that "policymakers work to correct the inevitable, negative policy and compliance ramifications this last-minute deal will create
" So far no word from Facebook, which put 1.5 billion users on a boat to California back in April in order to avoid Europe's similar data privacy regulations
Don't worry if you are surprised by the sudden news that California, the home of Silicon Valley, has passed a new information privacy law – because everyone else is too
And this being the US political system there is, of course, an entirely depressing reason for that
Another part of the statement by the Internet Association put some light on the issue: "Data regulation policy is complex and impacts every sector of the economy, including the internet industry," it argues
"That makes the lack of public discussion and process surrounding this far-reaching bill even more concerning
The circumstances of this bill are specific to California." I see. So this bill was rushed through? Yes, it was
And what's more it was signed in law on Thursday by Governor Brown just hours after it was passed, unanimously, by both houses in Sacramento
What led lawmakers to push through privacy legislation at almost unheard-of speed? A ballot measure
That's right, since early 2016, a number of dedicated individuals with the funds and legislative know-how to make data privacy a reality worked together on a ballot initiative in order to give Californians the opportunity to give themselves their own privacy rights after every other effort in Sacramento and Washington DC has been shot down by the extremely well-funded lobbyists of Big Tech and Big Cable
Real estate developer Alastair Mactaggart put about $2m of his own money into the initiative following a chance conversation with a Google engineer in his home town of Oakland in which the engineer told him: "If people just understood how much we knew about them, they'd be really worried
" Mactaggart then spoke with a fellow dad at his kid's school, a finance guy called Rick Arney who had previously worked in the California State Senate, about it
And Arney walked him through California's unusual ballot measure system where anyone in the state can put forward an initiative and if it gets sufficient support will be put on the ballot paper at the next election
If a ballot initiative gets enough votes, it becomes law. There have been some good and some bad outcomes from this exercise in direct democracy over the years but given the fact that both Mactaggart and Arney felt that there was no way a data privacy law would make its way through the corridors of power in Sacramento in the normal way, given the enormous influence of Silicon Valley, they decided a ballot measure was the way to go
Beware the policy wonk One other individual is worth mentioning: Mary Stone Ross was a former CIA employee and had been legal counsel for the House of Representatives Intelligence Committee and she also lives in Oakland
Mactaggart persuaded her to join the team to craft the actual policy and make sure it could make it through the system
Together the three of them then spend the next year talking to relevant people, from lawyers to tech experts to academics to ordinary citizens to arrive at their overall approach and draft the initiative
And it is at that point that, to be put in bluntly, the shit hit the fan. Because the truth is that consumers – and especially Californians who tend to be more tech-savvy than the rest of the country given the concentration of tech companies in the state – understand the issues around data privacy rules and they want more rights over it
With the initiative well structured and the policy process run professionally, the ballot measure gained the required number of supporters to get it on the ballot
And thanks to the focus groups and polls the group carried out, they were confident that come November it would pass and data privacy become law through direct democracy
At which point, it is fair to say, Big Internet freaked out and made lots of visits to lawmakers in Sacramento who also freaked out
The following months have seen a scurry of activity but if you want to know why the bill became law in almost record time and was signed by Governor Brown on Thursday all you need to know is this single fact: the deadline for pulling the initiative from November's ballot as last night – Thursday evening – and Mactaggart said publicly that if the bill was signed, he would do exactly that and pull his ballot measure
Privy see You may be wondering why Sacramento was able to get it through unanimously without dozens of Google and Facebook-funded lawmakers continually derailing the effort, especially since it was still a ballot measure
After all, the tech giants could have spent millions campaigning against the measure in a bid to make sure people didn't vote for it
And the truth is that they had already lined up millions of dollars to do exactly that
Except they were going to lose because, thanks to massively increased public awareness of data privacy given the recent Facebook Russian election fake news scandal and the European GDPR legislation, it was going to be very hard to push back against the issue
And it has been structured extremely well – it was, frankly, good law. There is another critical component: laws passed through the ballot initiative are much, much harder for lawmakers to change, especially if they are well structured
So suddenly Big Tech and Sacramento were faced with a choice: pass data privacy legislation at record speed and persuade Mactaggart to pull his ballot initiative with the chance to change it later through normal legislative procedures; or play politics as usual and be faced with the same law but one that would be much harder to change in future
And, of course, they went with the law. And Mactaggart, to his eternal credit, agreed to pull his ballot measure in order to allow the "normal" legislative approach to achieve the same goal
And so the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 is now law and today is the first day that most Californians will have heard of it
Sausage making at its finest. Of course, Google, Facebook et al are going to spend the next decade doing everything they can trying to unravel it
And as we saw just last week, lawmakers are only too willing to do the bidding of large corporate donors
But it is much harder to put a genie back in the bottle than it is to stop it getting out

Who Is Sophie Brussaux? What to Know About the Mother of Drake's Son Adonis - Duration: 6:01.
Drake's fatherhood-sized bombshell dropped alongside his new album Scorpion, and fans are itching to learn more about the mother of his child — Sophie Brussaux
Brussaux, a French artist and former adult-film star, had made her Instagram account private as of late, but opened it back up as the baby news was confirmed
"Mother of Adonis <3," Brussaux — who lives in France and paints portraits — formerly captioned her Instagram bio
"Would love my privacy in this moment." Back in May 2017, Brussaux — who was spotted with the rapper that January following his split from Jennifer Lopez — claimed she was three-and-a-half months pregnant with Drake's child and hired two major New York City attorneys to begin the proceedings to prove paternity and seek child support, TMZ reported
She also told TMZ that she had text messages from the rapper asking her to get an abortion
"I've seen the text messages and they do exist," Brussaux's publicist Jonathan Hay told PEOPLE at the time
"If it's in fact Drake's child, which he does not believe it is, he will do right by the child," the rapper's rep told PEOPLE at the time
"She's just another woman in a long line of women claiming he got them pregnant." However Drake confirmed late Thursday that a DNA test he received the results to in March proved the son Brussaux gave birth to on Oct
11 is his child. Drake, 31, also revealed that the two don't get along as well as they could
In his new song "March 14," the rapper referenced a strained relationship with Brussaux
"She's not my lover like Billie Jean but the kid is mine/Sandi used to tell me all it takes is one time, and it took was one time/S—, we only met two times, two times," he rapped, referring to his mom Sandi Graham
Drake was seemingly concerned with his family's take on his unexpected fatherhood
His parents divorced when he was 5, and he was raised by his mother in Toronto. "Now it's rough times, I'm out here on the front lines/Just tryin' to make sure that I see him sometimes/It's breakin' my spirit/Single father, I hate when I hear it/I used to challenge my parents on every album/Now I'm embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent/Always promised the family unit/I wanted it to be different because I've been through it," he rapped in "March 14
" In the album, the rapper also admitted that he has only seen his son once — for Christmas
"I only met you one time, introduced you to Saint Nick/I think he musta brought you like 20 gifts/Your mother say you growin' so fast that they don't even really fit/But man, you know/I still had to get it for my boy though
" The rapper goes on to say he has high hopes for another visit and an improvement in his relationship with Brussaux
"They said that in two weeks you're supposed to come in town/Hopefully by the time you hear this/Me and your mother will have come around/Instead of always cuttin' each other down," he rapped
Drake's over six-month silence regarding his fatherhood was apparently to protect his new addition
In "Emotionless," which samples Mariah Carey, Drake declared, "I wasn't hidin' my kid from the world/I was hidin' the world from my kid//From empty souls who just wake up and looked to debate/Until you starin' at your seed, you can never relate
" "Breakin' news in my life, I don't run to the blogs/The only ones I wanna tell are the ones who call/They always ask, 'Why let the story run if it's false?' You know a wise man once said nothin' at all," he added
Rumors regarding Drake's son re-emerged last month when Pusha T released a diss track called "The Story of Adidon," in which he alleged Drake had a secret love child he was keeping under wraps and refused to acknowledge
" "You are hiding a child, let that boy come home," Pusha rapped, claiming Drake is playing "border patrol
" Days after the diss track came out, it was reported that Drake has been "financially supporting" Brussaux since shortly before she gave birth
Sources told TMZ that the Canadian star is making sure Brussaux "lives comfortably" by quietly giving her money
The payments reportedly started late during her alleged pregnancy. A representative for Drake offered no comment in response to the report when contacted by PEOPLE

Hillary: 'What is more uncivil and cruel than taking children away?' - 247 news - Duration: 5:34.
Hillary Clinton said in an interview published Friday that current complaints about the loss of civility in American politics are nothing compared to the societal coarseness unfolding at the U
S.-Mexico border. 'What is more uncivil and cruel than taking children away?' the former Democratic presidential nominee asked, pointing fingers of blame at the billionaire who beat her in 2016
Like a growing number of Americans, Clinton is upset about the more than 2,000 minors separated from illegal immigrant parents after their border crossings
Under President Donald Trump's 'zero tolerance' policy, the adults are prosecuted
By law the children acn't be housed with them. The liberal politician, traditionally bullish on big government, lamented a federal bureaucracy marked by 'very poor record keeping and incompetence' that she said is likely to lose track of some children and fail to reunite others with their mothers and fathers before the grown-ups are deported
'The question of how we reunite the children who were taken from the parents is the one that's keeping me up at night,' Clinton told The Guardian, adding that she's 'worried that some children will not be reunited
'Near tears, she said she has personally raised $1.5 million to 'flood the border with lawyers, interpreters, experienced social workers, psychologists
''We just have to get as much expertise down there to force the federal government to give us everything
' She characterized the debate over incivility - fueled by incidents including Trump's press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders being asked to leave a restaurant and Maxine Waters, the veteran Democratic congresswoman calling for White House officials to be confronted in the street - as an example of 'that ridiculous concept of bothesidism'
'I mean, this is a crisis of his making that will damage kids for no good reason at all, and I think everybody should be focused on that until the children are reunited,' she said
Clinton used the interview - conducted during a tour of Ireland and the United Kingdom - to emphasize that she has no intention of leaving the political world
She said that she would be campaigning consistently until the November mid-term elections for Democratic candidates
That prospect is likely to raise concern in her own party over the potential for Clinton campaigning to do more harm than good
Although her presence will appeal to parts of the Democratic base, it could easily be seized upon by Trump to boost Republican turnout
But Clinton said that it felt like her patriotic duty to continue to play a part in public life
She was asked by the interviewer whether she had considered helping to heal the divides in U
S. life by leaving the public stage. But clearly angered, she said: 'I'm sure they said that about Churchill between the wars, didn't they?'The interviewer suggested it was not a 'spontaneous' reaction and Clinton quickly added: ''I mean, I'm not comparing myself, but I'm just saying people said that, but he was right about Hitler, and a lot of people in England were wrong
And Churchill was a pain. He kept popping up all the time.' Share this article Share 12 shares She also came close to intervening in UK politics by suggesting that Trump's planned visit to the country next month, when he is due to meet with Queen Elizabeth as well as Prime Minister Theresa May, should be put off until children are reunited with their families
Clinton corrected herself 'hastily', the newspaper said, saying that it was 'your own decision'
The failed 2016 Democratic candidate had traveled to the UK and Ireland to make a series of speeches
Among her engagements were a two-day stop in Wales, where some of her ancestors were from, to inspect the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law at Swansea University
While there she stayed at Fairyhill by Oldwalls in the nearby Gower peninsula, a Georgian mansion in 24 acres of grounds which is normally a wedding venue
