My name is Justine Leconte. I'm a fashion designer. I don't agree with the way the

fashion industry works today so I created my own clothing label, in Berlin.

Everything is made in Europe, at fair wages and with high quality fabrics. I

get inspiration from everything I see and hear, from the people around me, from the

places I visit... And no one was showing that creative process on YouTube. So I

started a channel, where I talk about fashion. Fashion should be accessible and

fun for everyone. No matter where you live, how old or

how rich you are. So I share concrete tips on how to style your body type. I show you

the trends coming up, how to build a capsule wardrobe, how to find your

personal style or how to recognize which colors work well with your skin.

This channel is for you if you're interested in fashion and if you want to

get inspired. You can also see where and how I work: when I illustrate my

designs or when I'm working on a new project. I took you with me to the

photoshoot of my first jewelry collection and when I talked about

fast fashion at TEDx, in Greece. Last year was only the beginning.

Hello! Today I'll talk about the lolita categories

Let's start with "sweet lolita"

I'm waering sweet lolita and this my favorite category

This so cute and the most childhood category

The sweet lolitas wear a lot of acessories

Like rings, wrist cuffs, half bonnets

(This type of hat) and other things

The dresses has a lot of volume

the main colors are pastel tones

like pink, mint, lilac and others

the prints are candies, teddy bears and all of cute things

The next is "classical lolita"

this is most mature category, has a less volume than sweet

The dresses are a little longer and the prints are simple

The most has prints of little flowers

and the colors are old pink, beige or brown

The next is "gothic lolita"

This is a mixture with the gothic fashion and the lolita fashion

The concept is to be creppy and cute at the same time

The prints are crosses, bats and laces

creppy and cute things

The makeup is a little darker

using dark colors to match with the dress

The most used colors are black, purple, dark red and others

The next are "shiro lolita" and "kuro lolita"

'shiro" comes from the word "shiroi" that means white in japanese

in this category the girls wear only white

The dress and acessories need to be completely white

"kuro lolita" is the oposite of "shiro"

the name comes from the word "kuroi" that means black in japanese

and they only wear black

A curious fact about this categories is:

In Japan this girls are used to walk together to make a color contrast

I think this is so nice

The last category is "wa-loli"

this category isn't very popular and is a little controversial

because some peoples don't consider it lolita

To be honest I love this style, I think this is verry beautiful

This is a mixture of traditional japanese clothes and lolita fashion

The top has the long sleeves and the waist band of the traditional japanese clothes

The skirt has the volume of the lolita fashion

The only negative fact is this is a little hard to found

because this isn't widely publicized.

But is so beatiful and worth to know

It was some of the lolita categories

The lolita fashion has a lot of other categories

Maybe I can explain more categories in a other video

Golden Globes: The Weinstein Effect | Lights, Camera, Fashion - Duration: 1:21.

There's a dark cloud looming over the red carpet that we cannot ignore. I'm

talking about the inescapable Weinstein effect. A scandal so big that it actually

had a strong effect on the Golden Globe nominations. We saw how perennial

favorites like House of Cards and Transparent weren't even nominated

because their stars were accused of sexual misconduct. But at the same time,

we're seeing an emergence of strong female characters coming to light and

really making an impact at these awards. Pamela Adlon was nominated for her role

for Better Things, a show that Louis C.K. had his hands in.

Please don't talk about what Louis C.K.'s hands are doing! I will say that in

light of this, I'm glad to see shows and movies with a strong independent female

lead being nominated. It's not just the award ceremony that's being affected. One of

the most prominent Golden Globes after- parties was cohosted by Netflix and The

Weinstein Company. This year's black tie bash has been effectively canceled.

Obviously it's had a ripple effect, creating tidal waves in Hollywood. We can

only predict this will continue through the awards season, and even well after.
