Auto news on Youtube Feb 7 2019

welcome friends today on the show we are going to talk about the difference

between self rising flour and self raising flour two similar yet

different products born out of the same patent in the 1840s one is a uk-based

thing self raising so any of the Commonwealth countries will probably say

self raising and they mean one thing and the us-south its self rising and it

means something different so at the core both of these are flour and baking

powder now almost all of the conversions are going to tell you to use all-purpose

flour or plain flour depending on where the recipe was written and that is fine

so here I have the two variations the first one I'm gonna talk about is self

rising flour and you're gonna see this mostly in u.s. recipes from the American

South and in its most simplified version it is one cup of all-purpose flour one

and a half teaspoons of baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and you just

whisk that together now you can sift it together two or

three times whisking is going to get you 99% of the way there and since you'll

probably already have a whisk in your hand whisking it is just fine so there

we have at its most basic the American self rising flour this is how we make

British UK Commonwealth self raising flour again one cup of all-purpose or

plain flour and two teaspoons of baking powder same thing just get in there with

a whisk and whisk it together now self raising flour was invented by a British

Baker he patented it in 1845 and he tried to sell this to the British

Admiralty something about giving sailors fresh bread or fresh quick bread on the

ships while they were out fighting their Wars

he then took out a patent in the United States in the late 1850s and it just

seems to be hit and miss as to whether it is available to you and it is used

regularly or not where we are we can buy a self-raising flour in the grocery

store but it only comes in a really small bag you don't see it too often

most people don't have it in their pantries and it just wasn't marketed

here and that really is what it comes down to in the u.s. South it was

marketed heavily there were few flour mills that made it regularly and it

really sort of grabbed ahold and stuck on part of the impetus for this video is

the series that we're doing on Sunday mornings where we're going back through

really old cookbooks and it sort of brought to the forefront of my brain

that there was a time that people who wrote recipes were trained recipe

writers and there was a certain flow to the way that they put things on the page

and they were very careful about how they wrote their recipes for the

audience that they were going to reach cookbooks were fairly regional and so if

you saw cookbooks that said self raising flour it was probably because you could

only get self raising or self rising there wasn't a lot of cross talk but now

with the internet you've you're able to look at recipes from all over the globe

and I think it's very important to get consistent results and in order to get

those consistent results you need to know what the ingredients are and you

have to be very careful when you're looking at what's written in the recipe

the other side of that of course is that now you've got a lot of people who

aren't trained in writing recipes and they're gonna make mistakes because they

might not know that there's a difference between these two products so if you

were expecting to get a really high loft on a cake and you used this product

self-rising flour instead what you're gonna get is a lower cake and it's going

to be too salty because this has salt in it and vice versa so there's one other

thing to talk about with self rising and self raising flour some brands for both

of these don't use all-purpose flour they use cake and pastry flour and it

has a lower protein content which makes sense because in most cases you're going

to use this in a cake or a scone or a biscuit and cake flour might be the way

to go so if you really love the brand in this self-raising is Brodie's it is a

cake and pastry flour if you're using white lily in the u.s. south it also is

a softer flour more akin to a cake or pastry flour so I don't know if I've

actually helped you I may have confused you more than when I started out but I

will leave the relative conversions in the info section below the video thanks

for stopping by hope to see you again soon

What is Black Hat SEO? Search Engine Optimization (Explained) - Duration: 11:18.

okay everybody so today I'm gonna talk to you about blackhat SEO if you don't

know what blackhat SEO is it's still a thing it's still out there it's a way

that people basically try to target your website and take your website down

that's negative SEO that's a type of blackhat SEO and it's also this concept

of getting ranked or doing things in Google that are against their guidelines

so blackhat SEO is anything that violates search engines Terms of Service

my name is John Lincoln I'm an SEO expert I'm gonna tell you everything

that you need to know a black about blackhat SEO in this video

so first SEO in blackhat SEO it's kind of broken up into two different areas so

there's link schemes and then kind of the general blackhat SEO stuff right so

let's start out with the link schemes so what are the link schemes that are

considered against Google's Terms of Service first thing is buying links so

if you're buying links from other websites you are not allowed to do that

just purchasing a link Google doesn't want you to do that they want you to

earn the links next link exchanges so if I say excuse me sir if you link to me

I'll link to you from this website that is not allowed and if I say oh if you

link to me from this website I'll link to you from another website that's also

not allowed they don't want you exchanging links this used to be a huge

thing that people would do years and years ago and it really worked very well

but today you cannot do that article marketing guest posts anything that's

low-quality so if I write a hundred articles and I get them posted on a

whole bunch of other websites around the web Google is gonna pick up on that

pattern and you're gonna get a manual action penalty which will show up inside

a Google search console or you might get a penguin penalty which is what happens

when you have too many links pointing out your website with the same anchor

text anchor text is just a term that basically means the text that's inside

of the lake so if this was linked to for example it said link exchanges link

exchanges would be the anchor text of that link so you can do guest posts you

can do article marketing but it can't be massive it can't be low-quality articles

it can only be if you write a really great article and you link to something

relevant within the article to something that's relevant on another website or on

your website anything that's automated is bad so

there's a lot of different programs out there that do something called link

indexing so basically if you get a link on another website there's a chance that

Google might not even see that link so you can use these automation programs to

build a whole bunch of they're links to a whole bunch of other

links that would then go to that final link so if your link is here and you

have all these other links that are on these other sites and then all these

other links on my on these other sites that are built by an automation program

these would link to these these would link to these and so on and so forth and

build more authority to this link that's going to your site right so automation

programs are against Google's guidelines and there's quite a bit of them out

there they're not quite as big as they used to be though and then profile links

so if you go out and you just build a whole bunch of social media profiles or

you build a whole bunch of profiles on forum sites so on and so forth profiles

anywhere around the web and then you put links in those two pages that you're

trying to get ranked higher you can get a penalty for that as well that's

blackhat SEO and then link networks so any type of network where you go and you

pay and they put you on a whole bunch of different websites and link from those

web sites to your website that's also blackhat SEO and Google is taking those

down all the time okay so we covered most of the linking stuff let's get into

some of the other type of blackhat SEO things that are out there comment spam

so if you are using a program to automatically generate comments on other

web sites or to automatically generate comments on your own website any type of

fake comment that's helping you rank better in Google or hurting your

competitors and making them work rank worse than Google through negative SEO

is not allowed and that is black hat SEO sneaky redirects so if you have one page

that's ranking and then you're redirecting somebody else to another

page that's an example of black hat SEO as well trading products for links so

that's another thing that you can't do so you can't necessarily say here's a

product link to my website here's some money link to my website that's the same

as buying things and link Bay in switch so if you create a scholarship for

example say you have a scholarship and you're

a whole bunch of links in through this scholarship because educational

institutions are seeing the scholarship they want a link to it so that their

students can confine the scholarship and this is something you really can't do

anyways but say you do that and then you eventually 301 redirect that page to

another page to get the links going to another page that is also blackhat SEO

in something you can't do keyword stuffing putting too many keywords on a

page is enough is something you can't do cloaking showing Google one page but

then serving another hidden content you can't hide content on a page that's not

allowed articles spinning just creating articles

and just creating pages so that they rank in Google and they're very thin

content a lot of people will do this through some type of PHP script there's

something called a Content matrix where you can create five versions of a

paragraph have dynamic field spin it create doorway pages that rank in Google

you're not allowed to do that either scraped content stealing content from

around the web serving that on your site so that it gets ranked that's also not

allowed funny thing about that Google won't allow you to do that for their

Terms of Service you can't scrape content but yeah if you actually think

about what Google does they scrape content to serve it in their search

results and they're doing that more and more and more especially with the new

knowledge panels Rich Snippets things like that and then even meta titles and

descriptions I mean that's just scraped content of course we want to do all this

for Google because we want to get that traffic right and it's the biggest

search engine in the world any Auto generated content you're not allowed to

do and then bait-and-switch stuff we talked a little bit about social media

spam if you're just getting thousands and thousands of shares from other

social sites that you're buying that's blackhat SEO and something you're

not allowed to do and then rich snippet markup spam so putting Rich Snippets

on pages so putting elements in the code that are going to enhance your listing

inside of Google that's not actually relevant to that page that's considered

spam as well so that's another thing you can't do it's blackhat SEO

any automated queries so if you're using something to generate fake traffic

that's searching for your company or your keyword and then coming in and

clicking on your website that's called an automated query that's nothing that

you're allowed to do within Google so no automated queries and no negative SEO so

if you really hate your competitor you're like I don't like this guy or

girl and I'm gonna build thousands of low-quality links to his site to get him

a penalty to make it look like he was doing all this blackhat SEO stuff you

cannot do that that's considered blackhat SEO if you're doing blackhat

SEO a negative SEO against your competitor okay

URL injection spam so sometimes what you'll see happen is somebody will hack

a site like WordPress and then they will inject links into pages or they will

hack pages or they will create thousands and thousands of pages and this is just

done through a script and then what happens is they put links on those pages

this happens a lot in spaces like viagra cialis you know these these pills right

and these are notoriously kind of spammy areas for SEO so watching out for hack

hack 2011 on and then domain squatting so if somebody goes and buys coca-cola

and they won't sell it to coca-cola and they're just holding onto it even though

that's their trademark you're not allowed to do that as well

blackhat SEO these are all the things that you cannot do now what do you do if

you are being targeted by negative SEO or you're being targeted by blackhat SEO

from a negative perspective or you've done blackhat SEO and now you want to

get your website back into a good place well that's a good question so all the

links scheming type of stuff that really goes through disavow files that as far

as going into Google search console you want to disavow links you want to block

those links you have to go in and remove a lot of these links so you'll have to

go back can take them down there's actually a

tool called a remover which is really good for sending out masked messages and

keeping track of how many links have been taken down and how many haven't

been you can send automated messages in a sequence to take those things down

you're gonna have to take down and and cancel any type of automated programs

any type of sponsors you have delete any profile links and get get out of any

link networks if you want to get out of that whole blackhat side and have your

website be looked as a clean quality website inside of Google now these type

of things also are gonna need to be dealt with so if you have done keyword

stuffing you're gonna have to reduce it if you've traded products for links

you're gonna have to go back and clean that up maybe do a Rhian clusion request

with Google if you've done cloaking or hitting content or malicious content

you're gonna have to clean all those things up if you have doorway pages

you're gonna have to take them down you're gonna have to redirect them if

you've done bait and switch you're gonna have to push that old page live that was

there we're you're gonna have to remove the pages entirely in form of forum if

you've got URL injection spam if your domains been hacked you're gonna have to

check out the hacked area within Google to find out what's gone wrong and how

you can fix it and there's so much more to so much more to negative SEO and

blackhat SEO that I didn't cover today so that's it for blackhat SEO if you

have a comment make sure to leave one I'd love to answer any of your questions

on the topic it's something that's out there something that's still very real

today if you liked this video make sure to like comment and subscribe and I'll

Queen Royal - Queen accession: What time is 103 gun salute to celebrate Queen's accession anniversa - Duration: 3:40.

Queen Elizabeth II was proclaimed sovereign on February 6, 1952, after the death of her father, King George VI

During this time, then Princess Elizabeth who was just 25-years-old, was on a Commonwealth tour with the Duke of Edinburgh

King George VI died in his sleep after suffering from lung cancer in the night between February 5 and 6

As the day also commemorates her father's death, the Queen does not hold a formal celebration

Queen Elizabeth II will spend the day at her residence in Sandringham, where she has been since her winter break

She spent Christmas and New Year in Sandringham with senior members of the royal family

To honour the day, a 103 gun salute will be heard echoing around London. Read More: Queen news: Why the Queen WON'T be out in public today What time is the 103 gun salute to celebrate Queen's accession? There are two separate rounds of guns fired during a 103 gun salute, the first being at either Hyde Park or Green Park

In the parks, The King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery fires the salute, the first round usually being fired at noon

Today's salute will be fired from Green Park, with 21 rounds fired at 10-second intervals, followed by 20 more shots as it is a royal park

Then one hour later at 1pm, the salute at the Tower of London will begin, fired from four twenty-five pounder guns

These are located on Tower Wharf facing the River Thames and will be fired by the Honourable Artillery Company at 1pm

This will be a 62-gun salute, the standard 21-round salute, plus 20 more because the Tower is a Royal Palace, and then 21 on top of that because it's within the City of London

The firing will be heard from the Tower Wharf for around 10 minutes. Gun salutes became more commonplace as a maritime tradition in the 17th century

In the earliest days, seven guns were the acknowledged British national salute because seven was the usual number of weapons on a vessel

The early regulations declared that although a ship would fire only seven guns, the forts on shore would fire three shots to each one shot afloat, hence the number 21

The next gun salutes will be for the Queen's birthday on Sunday, April 21 2019.  This 41-gun salute will take place in Hyde Park at midday, followed an hour later by a 62-gun salute at the Tower of London

Was Jesus Christ the LAST PROPHET? - Duration: 3:51.

In 1842, Joseph Smith, the first prophet and president of the Church of Jesus

Christ of Latter-day Saints wrote down 13 of the religions fundamental beliefs.

Number 9 on the list says this, "We believe all that God has revealed, all

that he does now reveal and we believe that he will yet reveal many great and

important things pertaining to the kingdom of God." What does that mean? Let's

talk about it after the intro video.

In summary, as exemplified throughout the history of the world, we believe in

continuing revelation. Prophets have revealed God's will to mankind since the

beginning of time. There have been periods of time when the people reject

the prophets and that help is temporarily lost but when the people are

prepared, God always reaches out to his children again through prophets and I'm

not just talking about people with the gift of prophecy, I'm talking about fully

authorized servants of God like Abraham, Moses, and Peter. We believe God has

revealed truth to us in the past and you can read all about it in the Holy Bible

and the Book of Mormon. Additionally, we believe God is still

revealing truth, guidance, and counsel to us today. You get a taste of that at

least every six months at General Conference. We also believe that there's

plenty of stuff we don't know yet that God may reveal in the future which is a

pretty exciting concept. Some faiths believe revelation and prophetic

guidance ceased after the death of Jesus Christ and the Apostles. We agree that

the martyrdom of God's authorized servants at this time and deviation from Christ's

original teachings did eventually mark a period of apostasy for the ancient

church but once the world was prepared again we believe God again called

prophets and will continue to do so until Christ Himself returns. Some faiths

cite Hebrews chapter one to show that the Bible teaches there would be no more

prophets after Christ. "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners, spake in

times past unto the Father by the prophets hath in these last days spoken

unto us by his son whom he has appointed heir of all things by whom also he made

the world's." We believe this is just Paul expressing how blessed the people of

that era were to have been taught by Christ himself. He's essentially saying

"Man, those ancient prophets were great but this Jesus guy, he's the son of God."

We don't believe he's saying, "Oh, by the way, there will never be another prophet."

In fact, the Bible even mentions prophets, some by name who existed or would exist

after Christ. But different religions can interpret scripture in different ways,

we're all just trying our best here. As for us, we believe the Bible clearly

outlines God's prophetic pattern and we believe that pattern continues today but

the principle of Revelation is not exclusive to prophets and it's not

exclusive to Latter-day Saints. You can receive revelation through the Holy

Ghost for yourself, for your own life. Mothers and fathers can receive

revelation for their families. That said, revelation is not an exact science. It

comes in many forms and for a variety of reasons. In fact, you've probably already

experienced revelation to some degree. For example, have you ever been reading

the scriptures and something just clicks in your head and you're like, "Of course,

that makes so much sense!" That's probably revelation or maybe one

day you get this feeling that you really need to reach out to a friend and you

don't know why but you do it and it turns out that you were an answer to

that friend's prayers. That's probably not a coincidence. God is trying to

communicate to us through his spirit and through his prophets. If you want to know

more about what Latter-day Saints believe God has revealed to prophets

both ancient and modern, go ahead and check out the article links in the

description and keep an eye out for our next video coming out soon.

LeBron James baffled as Dallas Mavericks trade Harrison Barnes while he is ON COURT - Duration: 1:53.

LeBron James has hit out at the decision to let trade while he was still on court

Dallas Mavericks forward Barnes was in action when he was shipped out to Sacramento Kings on Wednesday night

The decision brought some bewilderment across the sport with James suggested the incident should take some of the spotlight off players who want to move

His comments come with Anthony Davis going public on his desire to leave the Pelicans for the LA Lakers

NBA legend James posted on Instagram : "So let me guess this is cool cause they had to do what was best for the franchise right???  "Traded this man while he was literally playing in the game and had ZERO idea

"I'm not knocking who traded him because it's a business and you have to do what you feel what's best but I just want this narrative to start to get REAL/CHANGE and not when a player wants to be traded or leaves a Franchise that he's a selfish/ungrateful player but when they trade you, release , waive, cut etc etc it's best for them! I'm ok with both honestly, truly am

" Read More LA Lakers 'pull out of Anthony Davis talks' over "outrageous" Pelicans' requests    Barnes was traded to the Kings in exchange for Justin Jackson and Zach Randolph

He continued to sit on the bench in a particularly awkward moment following the trade before taking to social media to thank the Mavericks for their support

Liverpool News - Former Liverpool defender opens up on the night he was shot in the backside - Duration: 3:26.

Former Liverpool defender Jon Otsemobor has opened up on the night he was shot in the backside in a Merseyside bar, and how he pleaded with Rafael Benitez to stay at the club

The ex-Reds right-back played six games for the Anfield club, but is mostly remembered for an incident in October 2003 when he was out celebrating the birth of a friend's baby

"We went to a place where Robbie Fowler had a bit of a trouble a few months earlier," the Reds academy product told Planet Football

"But I wasn't a high-profile player and I was just out with my mates so I didn't think anything of it

"My friend was having trouble with a lad in the club so he took a gun off another lad, despite us telling him not to

"This other guy fired a gun in my direction, probably to scare me away, but it took some other lad's hand off and then it hit me

"I felt a bit weird and when I pulled out my hand from down the back of my pants it was like I'd dipped it in red paint, there was so much blood

"  Otsemobor says that the incident unfairly portrayed him in a bad light, and following loan moves to Bolton and Crewe he was let go following Benitez's arrival to replace Gerard Houllier in 2004

"People started saying I was involved in gangs - you know, a young, black Scouse lad, so anybody who didn't know me would automatically believe what was being said," he continued

"I still had a year left on my contract, so went on loan to Crewe.  "When I came back, I met with Benitez in his office and he told me he wasn't going to give me another contract

"I didn't want to leave Liverpool and I was sobbing in the room, asking Benitez to give me just an extra year, but he told me he had made his decision

"   Otsemobor - who also played for Rotherham, Norwich, Southampton , Sheffield Wednesday, Milton Keynes Dons and Tranmere - says he doesn't feel that Trent Alexander-Arnold, another locally-born right-back, will see his career go the same way

"I have watched him a few times and he has been exceptional," he continued.  "I don't know Trent, but I have heard he's a nice, well-grounded lad and doesn't mix in the wrong circles like I did when I was his age

"I do have regrets - I wouldn't have gone to the places I used to go to when I went out because it painted the wrong picture of me

"People know me for the wrong reasons."

Former Liverpool defender opens up on the night he was shot in the backside - Duration: 3:42.

Royal Az - The True Story of Ted Bundy's 'Girl Who Got Away': Teen Put Him Behind Bars — and Her Li - Duration: 12:17.

On a recent sunny Saturday in Utah, Carol DaRonch spent more than an hour talking about the worst night of her life: when Ted Bundy, already with a trail of dead or disappeared women in his wake, tried to abduct and murder her in the Salt Lake City area more than 40 years ago when she was 18

"It's still really scary to me that I survived, that I was even able to survive," DaRonch, now 62, tells PEOPLE

She did more than that: A little more than year after escaping him in the fall of 1974, DaRonch, at 19, confronted Bundy in court at his trial for aggravated kidnapping

"She never wavered at all," says retired district attorney David Yocom, who prosecuted the case

"She obviously didn't like the idea of testifying, but she knew it was her duty."  "I thought she was an excellent witness," he says  In 1976, Bundy was convicted of DaRonch's violent abduction — the first proof of his rampage across the West and a crucial development in unraveling what was then a mystifying web of missing-persons cases and homicides

Bundy was adept at leaving little trace of his crimes, and experts believe he murdered at least 30 people

But DaRonch was an exception. She shares her story in the Netflix docuseries Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes, out now

"She represents that rare person who was able to get away," says director Joe Berlinger

"I thought was very important for people to understand the horror of who this guy is and how he is a master deceiver and manipulator

"  "He generally was able to kill people before they even knew what was going on," Berlinger says

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, DaRonch — fiercely private about the parts of her life Bundy has not touched but long used to relaying what she simply calls "the story" — takes another view on her brush with America's most notorious serial killer, when she was an "extremely shy teen

"  "It made me angry to think that he thought he could just take me like that," she says of their encounter

"I think that I couldn't be this shy little girl anymore," she says. "I mean, I had to stick up for myself

" Escaping Ted Bundy  Bundy approached the teenage DaRonch at a mall in Murray while she was out shopping one night in November 1974

As he had with his other targets, he lured her to his Volkswagen with a lie: He claimed to be a police officer investigating a break-in of her own vehicle — complete with a badge to flash, reassuring her

Describing that evening now, DaRonch makes clear she wanted only to be helpful to an authority figure

She was not persuaded by Bundy's appearance or personality — qualities which led to media fascination with him after his crimes were revealed

"I thought he was kind of creepy. … I thought he was a lot older than he was," she says, noting that she smelled alcohol on his breath

(From behind bars, Bundy later said he usually drank heavily before killing.)  Once inside his car together, Bundy struck and the fight of DaRonch's life began

She tells PEOPLE that it was luck that spared her. Bundy unsuccessfully tried to handcuff both of her wrists, and she had declined his suggestion to put her seatbelt on as they drove about a half-mile away from the mall

Though he wielded a crowbar and brandished a gun, "I was able to open the door on my side and get out, and he came out after me over the seat, and we just fought outside of the car," DaRonch recalls

By the side of the road Bundy tried to bludgeon her into submission, DaRonch says

But then Wilbur and Mary Walsh approached them in a car from the other direction

Hysterical but determined, "That's when I broke away," DaRonch says.  When she leapt into the passing vehicle, Bundy's pair of handcuffs dangled from her wrist

Unbeknownst to DaRonch, Bundy, foiled in one murder plot, went later that same night to a nearby high school where he made 17-year-old Debra Kent his next victim

Belva Kent, Debra's mother, tells PEOPLE that DaRonch was "the lucky one."  "She suffered a lot, and she was very blessed … to go on and testify and do what she needed to do," Belva says

Making Him Pay  Initial news reports about DaRonch testifying against Bundy described her as tearful — fearful even — but looking back those aren't the emotions she describes

"I was totally happy to do it. I thought that the sentence he got [for kidnapping], the one to 15 years, I thought it wasn't enough," DaRonch says

"I thought, 'This monster tried to murder me, and he might be out in two years.' I thought, 'I will go and help them get a murder conviction and have him put away

' So I never felt that I wouldn't testify. I thought it was really important that I do

"  The initial scene from 1976 — DaRonch a quiet teen coming forward about a lunatic still unknown to most of the rest of the world, with Bundy sitting just a few feet away — replayed multiple times until his death sentence in 1980

After being found guilty in Utah, Bundy was sent to Colorado to be tried for murdering Caryn Campbell, a 23-year-old nurse

DaRonch pursued him to Aspen. By that time Bundy was acting as his own attorney, as he would in subsequent trials, which allowed him to cross-examine DaRonch

"He was so arrogant," she says of their face-offs at trial. "I just think he thought he was going to get away with everything

"  Says Yocom, the prosecutor: "It was quite a confrontation in the courtroom." He remembers a dramatic moment when Bundy questioned his onetime target: How can you be sure it was me that night?  According to Yocom, DaRonch told him, "I would never forget your face

"  "I surprised myself of the strength I had to get through all that," she says, "but I had a lot of support

"  For all of her efforts, though, it's impossible to say if DaRonch could have prevented more deaths: Bundy twice slipped out of custody in daring escapes — the second time for the more than a month, during which time he traveled to Florida and killed two college students and a 12-year-old girl

When he was charged in those crimes, DaRonch headed south.  "My relationship with him was purely to make him pay for what he had done," she says

Her Life Now  As much as people have always asked her about Bundy ("I just think I'll always be known as the girl that got away"), in truth he occupied only a small part of her life, DaRonch says

Even during his various prosecutions, she traveled to a court a few days here and there

Otherwise, she says, "My life continued normally."  "I was able to detach myself from an event that could have ruined my life," she explains

"It may not be a reasonable solution for everyone, but it is how I have been able to move on

"  Other than an early incident very soon after the kidnapping, when a magazine-seller approached her car in a grocery store parking lot, DaRonch says no terror lingered

She grew "more cautious around strangers, more aware of my surroundings and less trusting," but Bundy didn't take up space in her head

She did not have nightmares about him.  Bundy's periodic trials were only pauses in her return to normalcy, including her night classes in business management and weekend lake trips with her boyfriend

DaRonch earned a degree in business management and has long worked in the telecommunications industry, where she met her partner of more than 15 years, Michael

They live together in the same part of Utah, around Salt Lake City, where she was living with her parents when Bundy first approached her

"Even reliving it now, I'm not entirely comfortable," she says. "I enjoy my anonymity — when I have it

I also realize that it is an important story to tell, and if someone can benefit in a positive way from it, then that's what I want

"  DaRonch's son, Levi, 28, convinced her to participate in the Netflix series, she says: "We both agreed that I had an important story to tell

It needed to be heard again."  Were she not talking to reporters about her life's crossing with Bundy, DaRonch says her daily life would be unsurprising

She loves the nearby mountains and lakes — "I'm just minutes away from all the major ski resorts" — and Utah's embrace of all four seasons

She golfs often.  "I'm really happy and healthy and just live a normal life," she says

Since The Ted Bundy Tapes premiered in late January the response from friends and family, even strangers online (or at her local coffee shop), has been very positive

That, in turn, has boosted a Facebook page where she posts about Bundy victims and other cases

"It is still hard for me to talk about his victims and their families," DaRonch says

"Bundy destroyed a lot of lives, and I came so close."  Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes is available now on Netflix

Queen accession: The HEARTBREAKING reason the Queen WON'T celebrate Royal romance: How Philip stood by the Queen's side during accession  Then one hour later at 1pm, the salute at the Tower of London will begin, fired from four twenty-five pounder guns
