This grumpy looking dog couldn't get adopted but that a couple discovered what was wrong

This Canadian pug mix was ignored by everyone that visited the litter to pick up a puppy in 2013

Not only was the poor baby sickly looking but also had the appearance of an almost permanent scowl on his face

But one day a couple with an eye for the different pop buying could it be that the luckless pug had found his forever family?

Meet mr. Cornelius a little pug with massive appeal thanks to his adorably grumpy expression

However, the down in the mouth dog was not always as popular as he is today

Quite the opposite effect at an early stage in the game Cornelius found himself way out in left-field

pushed past by people looking for the perfect pug

Indeed when mr. Cornelius first emerged into the world in Toronto Canada. He was on the fringe of everyone's attention

Sadly that included the members of his own canine family

Including his Shih Tzu mom and pug pop

That was because Cornelius was the runt of his litter and he was so much smaller and weaker than his three siblings brothers

But the babies animal alienation did not end there

Cornelius had to watch sorrowfully as his happier looking siblings got picked out for adoption

before him

The grouchy looking pup was left unwanted and it wasn't just his grumpy seeming scowl that put people off the little pug

Potential adopters thought that perhaps there was something wrong with mr. Cornelius due to his skin coloring

It's certainly true that the four year old has always had a striking appearance

The poppers pale colouring and unusual eyes give him a ghostly appearance and it's fair to say that the Pug mix

frightened off a succession of human would-be parents

Cornelius scared off most visitors to the litter afraid that the smallest of the set was sick

Meanwhile one by one his brothers were whisked away to their forever homes

Next to his siblings who look more like their toy dog. Mom and pure pug father. Mr

Cornelius was an oddity on the other hand

That's exactly what appealed to the offbeat tastes of Toronto woman Tony cussin and her boyfriend James O'Donnell

When the couple visited the litter to find that only the runt remained, they were both smitten with just one look at Cornelius

Cussin in O'Donnell lived in the same neighborhood that mr

Cornelius was born into when the couple heard about an unexpected birth of pug bumpers on the dog grapevine

They felt they had to go and visit the litter. However O'Donnell and reservations about acquiring another animal

He was quite content with the dog the couple already owned

In fact cussin and O'Donnell shared a happy home with an attractive pug Boston Terrier Kraus called Bowie

hence O'Donnell's initial reluctance

The puppy later in question had been the result of an accidental pregnancy

But it proved to be a happy accident now that all the pups had been adopted well all but one mr

Cornelius the couple's hearts went out to Cornelius when they learned that the unconventional beautiful boy had been overlooked

He was the one that nobody wanted O'Donnell later told animal issue website the dodo in December of 2017

Everyone thought this dog was sick as soon as he clamped eyes on. Mr. Cornelius O'Donnell changed his mind about adoption

Far from the puppers unusual appearance being a deal breaker for the couple. It was what made it happen

People thought he was weird and different but we liked weird and different cussin explained to the dodo

However, despite the couple's eagerness to expand their family. They wanted to understand Cornelius a little better first. I had done some research

Custom continued in her interview with the dodo. I wanted to make sure he was okay, right?

Initially the Pug lover had thought perhaps mr

Cornelius was affected by albinism, but her research revealed that the animal was not nailed by no custom wasn't too far off the mark

However, the Pug actually had a similar condition called leucism

both albinism and leucism are rare conditions which indicate a lack of dark pigmentation in the sufferers system an

animal or indeed a person is

Centered albino when their body produces no trace of the pigment

Melanin this results in a distinctive pale skin pinkish eyes and white hair

Leucism however is down to the subjects partial production of the range of pigments and shows itself with a similar but sometimes patchy

discoloration of the hair and skin

So cousins dogged research revealed that mr. Cornelius did not have anything seriously wrong with him at all

The popper was not sickly or ill he was simply different and when cussin and O'Donnell became as official humans

The couple realized quickly. Just how unique

Cornelius is when it comes to his personality to begin with Cornelius just isn't what you would call a dog's dog

The canine much prefers the company of people there is one exception. However, he simply adores his adopted older sister Bowie

Mr. Cornelius has never once liked another dog other than Bowie cousin confirmed to the dodo in addition usually dogs

Actively dread bath time but getting in the tub has become one of the fastidious Cornelius's favorite things

He's obsessed with taking baths custom described if we go to anyone else's house

He'll find their bath and he'll sit in it and he'll be like, can you turn it on?

Furthermore. Mr. Cornelius isn't just preoccupied with baths. He also has another obsession

he loves orange objects and is

inseparable from his beloved toys of that distinctive hue during playtime if

He perhaps suffers from a lack of pigmentation. The Pug certainly doesn't lack for a bit of color in his life

Cornelius was once the dog that no one looked twice at but now all that has changed for the pug thanks to his online presence

No animal lover finds it easy to ignore. Mr

Cornelius these days as the popper pops up all over the Internet his adorable grumpy face has members of the online community

flocking to his social media accounts in droves

They can't seem to get enough of the unusual animals antics and with cussin as his manager agent and photographer

They're getting exactly what they want

Every morning when I sign on to his Instagram, it's like 200 likes and 50 comments

cussin told the Canadian current affairs website global new in January 2015 and in an article in the

Multi-language newspaper epoch times in December 2017 cussin revealed a secret which may have added to the pugs pulling power

Since his adoption these seemingly curmudgeonly. Cornelius has found his smile

It seems that the popper is not always so set in his attitude as cousin went on to admit in the epoch Times piece

He's not always grumpy

She said I just have a good eye for catching him when he is grumpy as a result of his humans keen photographic eye

Mr

Cornelius's scowl has become his trademark smolder custon said from then on he's been turning heads and melting hearts with that face in

His YouTube video filmed and hosted by the dodo

Cornelius has attracted more than 2 million views. So the pug is turning countless rounds upside down

Mr. Cornelius started life as overlooked and unwanted but now people

Enthusiastically accept him for the star he is they are mad for his antics for as cussin inform global news. He's just a crazy little

What is a self charging hybrid is it a REX BEV or a PHEV? ITS NON! 🔌🔋🚗 - Duration: 6:51.

welcome to this week's vlog on this week's vlog we're going to be talking

about an amazing system that's called the self charging hybrid system yes you

heard me right a self charging hybrid system

now if you've seen Toyota and

Lexus is adverts obviously Toyota owns Lexus they have gone for an

amazing self perpetual-motion device called a self charging hybrid yes they

have a hybrid that completely charges itself what an amazing piece of

technology I mean Newton would be proud they have

basically broken all the barriers of physics and invented a device that

completely self charges now if you see Toyota and Lexus advert it clearly says

they've chosen a device it charges itself and does not require a plug yes

that's right Toyota chosen not to put a plug on their hybrid

no no there's self charges itself now if you weren't aware Mercedes yes right

under here is Mercedes self charging hybrid battery yes you heard me right

right under here is a 12-volt standard okay it's time to drop the sarcasm

obviously Mercedes do not make a self-driving hybrid but also neither do

Toyota it's time I get technical for the first time ever in my videos and explain

the full difference between different cars so obviously got a ICE combustion

car which is a pure petrol or diesel car runs on combustion fuel 100% that drives

the wheels we all know what they are they've been around for decades the next

car is what we call a battery car BEV but a battery electric vehicle which

basically means the whole car is powered purely by electric so that includes the

Renault Zoe and obviously the Nissan Leaf and all the Tesla's we then have a

REX which is a range extender this has a electric motor and it also has a small

engine the engine charges the battery and the wheels are

powered by the battery alone so basically the even that has an engine a

combustion engine combustion engine is there to facilitate the energy of

electricity so therefore it's more efficient the engine is tuned to run it

the most efficient rate and therefore that's why REX's are actually not that

bad we next then move on to hybrids now a hybrid car works a bit like a Formula

one kurs system it constantly recharges the battery from the motion of

regenerative braking so same as what your electric car does anyway all our

cars regenerative braking but a hybrid car regenerates just purely from that energy

that loss energy doesn't it runs purely purely mainly on the ice engine the ice

engine is the main form of that movement and it uses the petrol of the ice and

the driving normal driving to repower a battery to that then gets put back into the

wheels it's more efficient than an ICE better for the environment than a

ICE but it's not as good as the other two that I've just previously mentioned

we then move on to a PHEV now this is a PHEV BMW i8 a PHEV is a

vehicle that has a plug the plug powers a battery the battery powers the wheels

now being a PHEV bit also has an internal combustion engine which also

powers the wheels and also charges the battery when the battery runs low the

idea of a plug-in hybrid is you can select purely run off the battery London

taxis are PHEVs Outlanders are PHEV's a PHEV is obviously a lot better than their normal

hybrid because you if you wanted to you could run it purely off the battery and

never use a combustion engine as long as the rangers in the battery range of the

vehicle they obviously have a much smaller battery than full BEV's but

there are a lot more environmentally friendly than some of the other options

that you can get the question is where does Toyota's system fit in would you

say it's a range extender which what it sounds like a self charging hybrid

sounds like a range extender it's not a range extender

it's also not a plug-in hybrid it's also not a full BEV it's also not

self-charging what it basically is just a hybrid it

uses the ice engine and then almost like a Kurs system like Formula one like I

mentioned before it's using the motion of the wheels of slowing down

regenerative braking to charge a little battery which then puts a couple of

miles extra range onto the ice motor yes it's better for the environment than a

full ice but it's certainly not a self charging vehicle and it certainly

shouldn't be advertised as well there was nothing wrong with the term hybrid

hybrid just means exactly what's Toyota have got they're very very first

electric car was a hybrid they called it hybrid and now they've invented a new

term called a self charging hybrid which is just a way to mislead people and

consumers into buying vehicles I find that confusing so someone who doesn't

work and sort of study the electric car industry is going to find the even more

confusing than I do now the reason I've mentioned all this is I want you to go

down to the description below there's a link to the

Advertising Standards Agency and I want you to report Toyota for they're really

basically trying to take advantage of customers poor knowledge of electric

vehicles now I've not got any problems with a hybrid which doesn't have a plug

I've got no problem with it it's better than ICE car so before everyone starts

pulling in the comments no you shouldn't say this yes it is better than than a

ice car but no problem with that my issue is the confusing advertisement

that they're using and they're doing it on purpose and I think it's deliberately

misleading to fool people into thinking that it it's got some sort of fake

collection energy device it's very poor practice of Toyota they know exactly

what they're doing and they need to stop it now you might

want to know why I was making a little joke about the 12-volt battery on the

Mercedes the reason for that is self charging hybrid gives the impression

that a battery that charges itself up now 12-volt battery on any ice car

charges itself up from an alternator so does that mean that all ice cars are

self charging hybrids no it doesn't so really what Toyota should

be doing is just calling it a hybrid like everyone else thanks very much for

watching this week's video don't forget to click here to become a

patreon click here to subscribe and check out my other videos down here

thanks very much and I'll see you again next week goodbye

Liverpool fans noticed what happened when Jordan Henderson was substituted v Leicester - Duration: 2:41.

Liverpool will head into the international break with 12 points having won their opening four matches in the Premier League

Jurgen Klopp's side earned all three points against Leicester on Saturday lunchtime, thanks to first-half goals from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino

Alisson's howler on the hour mark allowed Rachid Ghezzal to get Leicester back into the match

But Liverpool held on, despite a rather insipid performance.Klopp made one change from Liverpool's 1-0 victory over Brighton last weekend, with captain Jordan Henderson replacing summer signing Naby Keita

It was certainly a change that shocked many Liverpool fans considering the start Keita has made to his Liverpool career

But with Henderson struggling to get up to speed at the King Power Stadium, he was eventually replaced by Keita with 20 minutes remaining

At the time, Liverpool were under the cosh as the home side pressed for a deserved equaliser

However, after the skipper left the pitch and Keita was introduced, Liverpool appeared to control the game

Leicester failed to put Liverpool under much pressure towards the end of the match and many fans believe it was due to Henderson's substitution

Liverpool supporters feel their side looked so much better without Henderson on the pitch as they held on for all three points

LIVERPOOL WERE BETTER WITHOUT HENDERSON Ahead of the game, Klopp explained exactly why he had brought Henderson back into the starting XI for the trip to Leicester

"I thought it made sense for the game today," Klopp said. We have to [be], if you want, rock solid, in all departments because Leicester is a good football-playing side, so we need to defend very well, to be really compact and all different things so it helps when the boys are used to this

This midfield played pretty much the last third of the last season unchanged, so that's the reason

Breaking News - Vincent Kompany on what would've happened if City didn't win 2012 PL - Duration: 3:16.

In exclusive extracts from a forthcoming book chronicling the Abu Dhabi United group's 10-year ownership of Manchester City, key figures reveal the inside story of City's remarkable rags-to-riches transformation

Vincent Kompany and Manchester City were locked in a two-horse race with United at the end of the 2011-12 season in what was to become a memorable finale

'I think that's the game with the most pressure on it that I've ever been in,' says Kompany of the seismic April 2012 derby in which his goal saw City take control of the title race

'I'm good at dealing with pressure so I was kind of comfortable still, but it was insane because it was a midweek game so everyone was watching it

It was United versus City. It was basically for the title. 'I think you can almost see it on my face after the goal, this…' - he searches for the words to describe it- '…it's not anger, or frustration, but it's definitely pent-up emotion that comes out because you want to almost rebel against this image

You want to rebel against what everybody thinks this is going to turn out to be. 'That game was fantastic because obviously we scored the goal, which happened to be me, but we didn't concede one shot on target that game, against Manchester United, title contenders, and that to me was powerful in terms of how you react in big moments

' All City needed to do was beat relegation-threatened QPR at home to secure their first title for 44 years - But going into injury time they found themselves 2-1 down

'It makes me sick to even talk about it,' Kompany says, when asked to contemplate what would have happened if things had turned out differently

'I think we would have gone into hiding for two months. It would have been a stain, really, because we did so many great things that season

Throwing it away against a team that's fighting for relegation at home would have been a catastrophe

'I can't even describe it. I don't know where the belief would have come from for anything else after that

' Kompany believes big characters came up for the big moments. 'We went to Newcastle for the second-last game of the season,' he recalls, 'and Yaya came up to me in the hotel and he said, "Oh Vinnie

You know, you've headed the ball and tackled brilliantly all season. Thank you. Now," and he taps his chest, "leave it to me"

' 'I was like, "What's he on about?" Oh, Yaya being himself again! So, I just go and do my thing

'Next thing you know, we play this game, win 2-0, and Yaya scores two. Big players, big moments kind of thing

'Then, we prepare for the QPR game, and Kun [Sergio Aguero] does the same thing

He comes to me and says, "Vinnie, today, leave it to me". You know, they'd never done this before, they've never done since

Only these two games. I'll remember it forever.'

Black dad says he was 'beat by Six Flags guards for not wearing shirt' - Daily News - Duration: 5:52.

A black Maryland father has filed a lawsuit against Six Flags America claiming he was beat and handcuffed by security guards after a white female employee called for help during a dispute over him not wearing a shirt inside the park

Nicholaus Mims said he was visiting Six Flags America over Father's Day weekend with his family when he was thrown to the ground and attacked as he was walking to his car

Mims said the incident started when his 12-year-old son disappeared from the water park they were at and he went searching for the boy

According to a lawsuit obtained by the Washington Post, Mims was with his son at Hurricane Harbor when the child ran off

Mims said he had taken his shirt off while at the water park, and took off searching other areas of Six Flags when he noticed his son was nowhere in sight

He said as he ran through Six Flags looking for the boy a couple security guards told him that it was against park rules not to have a shirt on

The frantic father said he explained what was going on and they let him continue searching

Mims eventually found his son safe and well playing arcade games. He said he called his wife, who had his shirt in her bag, and told her where to meet them

'You don't know what crazy people are going to do out here,' Mims told the Washington Post

'Everything flashes through your mind at that time. You're worried.'He added: 'I'm nervous, afraid and scared because I can't find my child

Not one time did anyone say, "Is something wrong? Do you need any help?"'According to Mims, a white female security guard approached him minutes after he found his son and told him he needed to put a shirt on

He said he tried explaining that his wife was on her way with his shirt.   'In response, the Caucasian female employee activated her handheld radio device and called park security,' Mims's lawsuit states

He told the Washington Post that the call the security guard made for backup was racially motivated

Mims said two more security guards approached him and told him to leave the park

Mims said he again tried explaining what happened and told them that his wife was on the way with his shirt

'Man, I told you, I'm waiting for my wife,' Mims, in court filings, recalled telling security

'I don't understand, I've spent all this money — almost $400 — to get into this park, and now you are telling me I have to leave because I don't have a shirt on?'Mims said he used an expletive and that's when one of the security guards placed his hand on his mace and told the father to leave

Mims, according to his lawsuit, responded: 'What are you doing? Are you really about to mace me right in front of my son because I told you I don't know what's going on?'Mims said the guards again told him to leave so he started walking towards the exit

He said once they stepped outside the park's gate, one of the security guards told him he was under arrest for disorderly conduct and grabbed his arm

Share this article Share Mims said he yanked his arm away, and that's when several guards threw him to the ground and allegedly beat him

He said he was bruised during the alleged attack. One photo shows swelling above his eye

'This beat down is unacceptable," Mims' lawyer Donald Huskey said. Mims said he knows he broke park rules by not having a shirt on and by cursing, but he doesn't think he should have been attacked as he was trying to leave

'I could see if I was fighting with someone or not compliant, but I was leaving,' Mims said

'I broke the rules. That's my bad, but that doesn't mean you need to slam my face into the ground

'His lawsuit is seeking $10million in damages. A Six Flags spokeswoman Denise Stokes says the company believes the lawsuit has no merit

Company lawyers have denied his allegations in court.'Six Flags stands by its answer and intends to vigorously defend this matter in court,' said David A

Skomba, a Maryland-based attorney for the park.
