ladies and gentlemen welcome to the first video post Fashion Week and today
we are actually going to be doing unwrapping because look at this look at
this this is here we go
all of this our gifts that I'd gotten during Fashion Week
and I feel I feel so incredibly grateful and it still feels pretty surreal to be
doing this or talking about this considering that four months ago after
my company went bankrupt I was basically faced with potentially
having to leave the UK because I didn't know how I was going to be able to pay
rent um as I had no savings at the time and
you know four months later I started my self-employed journey as a filmmaker and
photographer and blogger and here we are I got into doing my first proper Fashion
Week both as a blogger and as a model actually because last Tuesday I have
done my very first London Fashion Week catwalk with Wear The Walk which is a
sustainable brand that is all about reusing amazing designer clothes and
renting instead of buying especially if you're only going to be using those
clothes once for a very special event such as a premier of red carpet so I
know that I'm in an incredibly privileged position right now and it
does feel pretty surreal but I wanted to take this as an opportunity to raise
awareness about vegan and organic brands because
this season more than ever before London Fashion Week has been all about positive
fashion what does positive fashion means
positive fashion means sustainability means organic means models that are of
different shapes different sizes different ethnicities different ages in
fact the whole hashtag for London Fashion Week this year was positive
fashion and one of my favorite favorite favorite presentations was a
presentation by a designer named Steven Tai who actually used victims of acid
attacks in his catwalk and I thought it was absolutely extraordinary that there
is more and more designers who are standing up for all women to feel
empowered to feel strong to feel seen and to feel beautiful and so I will
actually be doing a series of videos from London Fashion Week in the upcoming
weeks to share with you the sustainable brands the brands who think differently
their designers who set up for diversity but in the meantime I wanted to say a
massive thank you to all of the sponsors to you all of the gifting Suites that I
have had the pleasure of having been invited to and let's go let's do this so
ok we are going to start with
into into is an amazing grant platform that connects influences and agency
signed talent with brands who want to collaborate with them so they had a
gifting suite at the hospital Club in London on Monday Tuesday last week and
so this is some of the products that I'd come we have we have 101 remedies and
this is a organic and 100% natural origin set of cosmetics so this is a
night balm that is actually supposed to calm you and help you sleep so you do it
as a little ritual before going to bed and this is called pure air and it won a
bunch of awards if you go on the website and this is an air purifier so it's
composed of over 19 organic essential oils and it's supposed to prevent you
from you know catching a cold or feeling sick when you are traveling so you're
supposed to spray it in the room or spray it on your pillow and and that's
it
so it actually smells really nice I really like the smell so I can't wait to
try this and I go on holiday with this so thank you very very much
1001 remedies I really appreciate those and next on so this is not organic
however it's vegan gluten free and dairy free this is called hoo-hoos and their
accounts on social media is who loves who which is hilarious and I have three
of the fittest actually there's also chocolate one so
this one is mixed berry and this one is banoffee and I absolutely love them I
have never tried sweet humors in my life before and I am obsessed so definitely
if you want to try something different if you're not afraid of trying
unconventional foods then definitely go for hoo-hoos and then I love this okay
so I already tried this I had two of those noisy and damn this is an organic
white chocolate so for those of you who have actually seen my magnum video which
I believe was the previous video I think or two videos ago ah you will know that
actually a lot of experts don't consider white chocolate to be chocolate at all
however this is amazing so it tastes like lemon and it has these little poppy
seeds in it and it has Baba in it as well I've never tried top leg with
baobab but that was amazing so thank you so much too easy and um really
appreciate that
do we have okay I actually don't know what this is from but um it's it could
keep that says it's a booty call and I think it may have been from this brand
JustFab so just that was actually gifting us shoes at the in - skipping
suits so they were amazing and if you go onto my Instagram stories and my
Instagram feed you can actually see which shoes that I've chosen and then
you can shop for them on their website because I believe they're still
available so thank you thank you very much just Bob and yeah well those do we
have uh-huh yes we have a site Victoria Secret model picture and it is by a
photographer and artist who this hold Luiza
give wigs BB and her Instagram is flat space art so make sure you do check her
out it's a very nice gift thank you very much and then we have oh okay these guys
were really cool so they're called lemonade these guys are really cool
because they create all sorts of different drinks and lemonade and they
actually encourage recycling and reusing off all of their packaging and also
their packaging is in plastic its bottles and as you probably all know
drinking water or drinking any sort of soda or juice from a glass bottle it's
much better to drinking it from plastic so if you have a chance to make the
smart choice and buy beverages that are in glass bottles because you can recycle
them just help
next on okay okay this I haven't tried so this is a sanctuary spa one-minute
glow mask and I'm actually really excited to try it because I was wearing
makeup for like 14 hours a day six days in a row so my skin really needed a
break so I'm very excited to be trying us thank you so much sanctuary spa and
my last product is a glow tonic from pixie skin treats so this is not organic
either and it has 5% glycolic acid in it aloe vera and ginseng I will try it
although I usually do not recommend buying any products that are not organic
or at least from 100% natural origins I personally when I spent my money I
only spend it on organic and vegan brandstar cruelty-free okay so this is
all from into there may have been some more snacks that I've already eaten so I
apologize for that thank you so much into it was amazing to visit your
gifting soup this year thank you right so next on next we have the prep social
gifting suit and prep social is a agency that represents influencers in actually
this year they have partnered with duck and dry just off of Oxford Street and
they were giving all of the influences and people who were there blow dryers
and nail treatments and it was absolutely amazing there was
free-flowing Prosecco nurus cupcakes it was
and I'll actually show you that in my next video and this has to be my
favorite fashion week took effect because it says fashion week emotional
baggage and I think anybody who was anyhow involved in Fashion Week will
understand how ironic this is so I really really like this and inside we
have a makeup pouch which I also really appreciate and it says fashion week prep
kit from prep social and inside we have a professional whitening Beverly Hills
formula toothpaste and we have an activated charcoal toothbrush
now I haven't tried this and I don't know if I will because my mom's a
dentist and she actually discourages people from whitening their teeth rather
than encourages them because we both of whitening like current teeth whitening
procedures are not good for your health and we live in a society that will
prioritize once looks over one's health so this is not something that I stand
for at all I will always prioritize my health therefore even though I have a
mother who's a dentist and I could have had you know a her thing before white
Colgate smile I don't because I've never done anything to my teeth I've never
waiting it but thank you very much regardless
um Beverly Hills formula appreciate it and we also have
neighbourhood botanicals and neighborhood botanicals is actually made
out of natural essential oils and this is a nice facial oil so I will try this
brand neighborhood botanicals thank you so much so thank you so much prep social
for it you're wonderful bag and the little goodies inside and we are on to
the next which is actually a goodie bag from one of the presentations that I
went to so this is a good be back from t-tube Jones which was happening last
Monday so tecum Jones had actually partnered with United Nations women and
it was an exhibition that was called global womanhood part 2 16 days of
activism and so the entire presentation was revolving around a film where women
were talking about their experiences in today's society of what it means to be a
woman and this brand has actually only used sustainable wool in their new
collection so kudos from that and the wool it was from the wool specialists
John Smedley I'm not sure if I'm pronouncing this right but it was
sustainable thank you so much teaching Jones for thinking about our environment
when creating your collection and the goody bag actually contains a
fragrance a Miller Harris fragrance that is called lost in the city and this is
amazing I mean yeah this is probably one of the best this is like a full-size
fragrance so this is probably one of the best gifts and I've ever received in a
goodie bag so let's open it I have an actually open it I wanna own let's see
what it smells like no I want to smell what this smells like
doesn't make sense ah okay right ha okay so this is lost by
Miller Harris let me try this on
Oh oh yes yes yes I really like this oh this is brilliant
okay so I am so peculiar when it comes to perfumes and I've been using like the
same two or three fragrances we use now and I can try like hundreds of them but
I will not buy them unless they publish something special and I'm this because I
really actually hate like really flowery smells so this is amazing this is
amazing because it has like a little bit of like dark fruit in it it's a little
bit like Moody and it has a certain gravity to the smell like it has some
darker notes so it's not flowery and it has citrus in it it's really it's really
nice I'm definitely wearing this thank you very much Miller Harris for this and
t-tube joints this is pretty cool once again I don't actually know if this is a
vegan or sustainable brand but I'd imagine because Tetum Jones have worked
with a sustainable marina wool brand the Miller Harris is hopefully sustainable
as well but I will check that out for you and I will let you know so thank you
so much to tubers and Miller Harris or this gift and for your lovely
presentation okay and next on we have we have model village and this
is probably the most packed out of all the goodie bags so thank you so much
more than village and you may have seen on my Instagram stories model village
had actually partnered with a sustainable and vegan leather backpack
company which is called Buddha bag and I have taken a few shots of the bag back
in the lounge I don't have the bag with me right now it's an absolutely amazing
sleek beautifully designed back that looks like leather and feels like
leather but isn't leather and no animals were harmed or killed in its production
and I love it so much so thank you so much model village for actually making
me aware of that brand because boy our bags have started a Kickstarter campaign
in order to even be able to produce that sustainable and vegan leather backpack
so I'll put the link to the Kickstarter campaign below so that you can check it
out for yourself and yes so thank you so much for introducing me to dark brown
because I didn't know it and let's take a look inside of the bag haha
okay so first on we have blue meat and you can actually see what it is because
I'm using it right now so the Lummi is an amazing phone case that has built-in
lights in the front and the back of the camera so like if you see your phone you
will have lights all around it here and then all around the back so that when
you're in the dark and you I don't want to do a video or you want to take a
selfie and you don't want it from for it to be really crap quality then you can
use it so for me as a filmmaker and a videographer and someone who just loves
capturing moments this is perfect so thank you so much to
me this is amazing and think another village for that now next time I have
and once again kudos to model village for partnering with vegan and organic
brands thank you thank you for raising awareness that we shouldn't just look
good that we should feel good that we should eat good food and that we should
not pollute our environment so thank you for raising your awareness for that
right so we have a Primrose kitchen which is a orange and cashew granola and
it's organic vegan and gluten-free which is all the three things that I
absolutely love so I haven't tried to see it I will try
this thank you so much
right next this is natural and it's a
okay let's do it cacao Sutra bar and I've actually had
two or three of those and they are amazing
so the vegan they're organic they are gluten free and they basically power you
through a couple of hours if you just need a snack
the pact with mulberries Godey's GI quinoa hemp knits
and Catco and once again pronouncing it right but they are
delicious so thank you so much new trial next on we have hippies which are
organic chickpea pops and I had a couple of types of those and they are really
good once again I don't really encourage anyone to eat snacks unless you
absolutely have to but if you do eat snacks then organic snacks are
definitely a better choice so thank you hippies and then we have
and I'm really excited about this so we have a balanced skin mask by a brand
called Fela Bay of Switzerland so I haven't tried this yet but it is vegan
and it is cruelty free so some of my boxes are checked so I will definitely
try this later thank you very much feel of it and then we have a soul healer
which is a smoothing food peel so I tried this before but actually not from
this brand so I'm very curious as to what this will do to my feet from nail
sink in London and some of them really wait because they like make you feet
peel completely for like three days and I'm not sure whether that's supposed to
happen over there you know I don't know he kept it on for too long or whatever
but um I know that the previous ones I have used they make your skin feels so
smooth so we like them so I'll see what everything of that one
and then we have okay yes so we have a couple of nail sink nail polishes and it
is not organic I don't even know if it's vegan once again it looks beautiful and
so thank you very much nail Singh however I only recommend buying makeup
brands that are organic and vegan not like one or the other because once again
it's your help and the stuff that you put on your nails it your skin absorbs
it so if it has like three hundred thousand ingredients that you probably
can't even pronounce know exactly sure how good it is for your health so do
your research I am NOT a medical professional it's just my opinion from
my own research that I have done but once again if you can buy a product that
is good for your health and it's good for the environment it's always better
than buying anything that is it and then next on we have these are really like
okay and I haven't tried them yet I know I'm going to like them because they are
vegan and organic and so this is a dr. Bronner's all one hemp rose pure castile
bursa and it's certified Fairtrade and it's made with organic oils and they
also gave us an organic orange lavender hand and body lotion and lavender
coconut organic hair cream so organic vegan Fairtrade I am definitely using
those thank you so much dr. Khurana and do we have anything left
okay yes yes yes yes yes we do okay this I've already I've already used this
already open this T's are tumblers so I don't know if you guys know what this
says but these are very popular in Britain I'm not sure if like the rest of
Europe has them or not I haven't seen them in Poland and I haven't been to
France in a while so not sure but these are basically like on-the-go hair
brushes and they make they can untangle hair really really nicely and they make
your hair feel very silky I have already had one of those but it didn't have any
special design so this has like little hearts and it's as girls on them and
it's very cute thank you so much tangle teezer
definitely using that and then we have
okay I'm gonna do them all at once all right we have an nipple brownie bites
that are dairy free gluten free and vegan excited to try this haven't tried
those yet we have spelt pretzel bites easy cheesy and these are
they say they're all-natural and there without GMOs which is already good and
they are vegan and their source of protein so well done and this is PIP and
nut and it's a natural peanut butter with no hormones so for those of you who
don't know palm oil has actually really devastating effects on the environment
and we should stop using palm oil and stop paying an industry that so produces
palm oil so if you can invest in products that do not have palm oil in
them that would be fantastic guys alright and the last thing is a and that
I already drunk and I try to end it's a ten zing it's a natural energy drink so
I am not a big fan of energy drinks at all especially not once in aluminium
cans this one did taste nice and it says that it's all-natural ingredients
it's not organic but it is vegan and non-gmo the can is hundred percent
recyclable and it does have any artificial additives so it's better than
nothing once again it's not organic and I would not recommend drinking any
beverages from aluminium hands I mean if you still don't know of the negative
effects that ingesting aluminium or using aluminum in any form like in
deodorants etc has on your health then do your research there's a beautiful
thing called the Internet but yeah don't drink things that are in aluminium cans
preferably glass bottles or plastic if you can't avoid it but glass bottles or
have your own reusable caps so that is all from model village thank you so much
I may have once again missed some snacks because I already ate them but thank you
so much model village that was awesome we are back after a short commercial
break and by commercial break I mean that the camera ran out because it has a
stop time at 30 minutes so we only have 2 bags left so we have in these are bags
from fashion shows that I have been to and I was actually lucky enough to be
invited to be from fro at both of those shows so one of them was Aston Martin in
collaboration with her runway and her runway was a series of independent
female designers from all around the world who came to present their
collections in London so it was an amazing very inspiring show that also
promoted body positivity and diversity with the choice of the models that they
used and I'll be talking about it in next week's video so thank you very much
for runway so hair runway and this I absolutely absolutely adore they
actually give you some of designer pieces so so umm I have a scarf from -
Malaysia you guys should check them out I actually had a chance to speak with
them at the after party with the designers for quite a long time and they
are such a nice group of people and they absolutely love London they would love
to come back to present collection and their designs are
colorful and beautiful and make women feel empowered so you should definitely
check them out thank you very much - and we also have Sameera eyebrow me and this
is a bracelet and it has a little lucky charm which is the really I here I don't
know I don't know if you can see it hopefully you can and you could actually
use it as a corsage which is quite nice thank you very much Sameera we also have
a hair burly's London train thank you for this that I mean you know if you can
say no to free alcohol once again alcohol is not good for your health and
it is much better if you avoid it altogether but if you can't then drink
in moderation do we have anything else
oh okay um that's cool there's a pressed glitter makeup from
prima makeup now guys do not use glitter that is not biodegradable I don't know
if this brand is biodegradable but actually glitter has a really negative
impact on the environment so do you research before buying from a
brand and make sure that if you do buy glitter from a brand it is biodegradable
okay thank you so much her runway really appreciate it and then last last by not
least we have the official Victor Wong spring summer 2019 goodie bag I was also
invited to be front row Victor Wong's London Fashion Week spring summer 2019
show which was last Sunday and it was absolutely amazing and actually got to
chat to Victor after the show and we did a little exclusive interview that will
be available for you in a couple of weeks so I'm very excited to be sharing
that with you do stay tuned and let's look inside of the goodie bag okay so I
already love this because Victor Wong has actually given all of us a Victor
Wong t-shirt and I gotta say I know that these things take money and time to
produce and maybe a lot of people who are in a privileged position to even
receive those goodie bags on this setting we're done so I absolutely love
when designers take time and make the effort of giving us pieces from their

and what else do we have haha okay so we have Zabu for every
young and the packaging is actually amazing and this is a mask that you can
sleep in and I think it's made of silk it's really it's really soft it has it
has like a layer like a really puffy layer inside of it that sort of melts

Fashion Week collaboration with czar for official branding so that's very very
cool thank you so much for this and it actually comes with a pouch I mean I
have less I've never seen a sleep mask that comes with it with its own pouch
that's amazing thank you very much and

much Victor for collaborating with an organic beauty brand
they're called Evo and we have
evolve aye sir is it aye sir it's he Yellin Ronix Arab
200 for all skin types okay no it's not an ISO room it's a face
sir we have a radiant glow mask I love those I love face masks and we have they
renew facial cream I'm very excited to try all of those because they are
organic thank you very much both these are going straight into my cabinet and
this last but not least hh8 dissolving royal jelly paper travel light so this
is actually a paper with royal jelly that's supposed to cleanse your face
that dissolves when you use water so this is something that I've never ever
ever seen before and it's made in Shenzhen China would love to try this I
have no idea whether I'll use it again or not but yes and this is not organic
as far as I can say not sustainable and also this brand
probably tests on animals because unfortunately all brands that export to
China or that actually work in China are obliged by law to test on animals so
probably won't be buying this unless you guys stop testing on animals which would
be very cool so on that positive note I would like to
thank London Fashion Week spring summer 2019 for having me it was a pleasure and
an honor I know how many people in the creative industries and fashion
industry's passionate students dream of going to those shows of being front row
of seeing all the new designs before everyone else so I feel really be on it
and I hope that I did all of you guys just this once again as you know I'll
always be promoting organic vegan sustainable brands at least matching one
