How many shots with Crosman Vigilante and 1 CO2 cartridge - Duration: 4:21.

Hello, my name is Igor, and in this video I would like to answer to questions I got:

And that is: How many shots can we get from Crosman Vigilante 357

With CO2 cartridge. This is 12g CO2 cartridge, UMAREX

I will test it indoor and outside

The indoor temperature is room temperature, approximately 22°C

and outside (it is winter here) outside is approximately 5°C

This is my 10m shooting range, and this will be my shooting position

Let me show you the results in this table

I started with 22°C test

I took 5 shots for zeroing the scope

and then I needed 20 shots for my 10m accuracy test which you can see in my previous video

and the I replaced the target and continue with shooting aiming to same point

and next 49 shots hit the target

this give us the total of 74 shots

I was waiting at least 10s between shots

this may variate, how fast are you shooting

If you shot too fast, CO2 will cool down and lost power

OK, now let's see how many shots can we get if it is cold outside

We are now outside

In Hungary it is winter, as you can see it is 5.8°C

I have new cartridge inside

And I will shoot to that target. Until I hit the target I will count the hits.

As you know, because of the cold I will have much less hits, compared to the inside shooting.

In my test at 5°C I started with 2 shots

Then I noticed that I have to change the zero of the scope

because power is reduced, approximately 1" below target

I needed 3 shots for zeroing

Then I was shooting aiming to the same point

until I hit the target from 10m

I got 38 shots more

This give me the total of 43 shots in cold weather

also this may variate depend of the start temperature of the CO2 cartridge and how fast are you shooting

I was waiting 10s between shots

So my final answer to the question, how many shots can we get with Crosman Vigilante and 1 CO2 cartridge

it depend from several things

depend of the outside temperature, depend of the quality of the CO2 cartridge

depend how fast are you shooting

but approximately, if it is worm outside, you can count on approx. 70 accurate shots

and if it is cold outside

approximately 0-5°C you can get maybe 40-45 shots

but don't forget, in my test I left CO2 cartridge outside to cool down

But if you take out your cartridge from your pocked of from inside

then you may get more shots
