Dark Souls 2 True Pacifist Run [4] - Ruin Sentinels - Duration: 14:27.
My friends, fellow respawning zombies, my name is Sol, also known as SolTheCleric, the
Dark Souls pacifist and welcome to episode 4 of my True Pacifist Run
of Dark Souls 2 Vanilla.
In this episode we'll have to face the Ruin Sentinels and, in order to survive in the
Bastille, I'll have to make extensive use of a certain spell that I just bought from
master Carhillion: the "Yearn" spell.
Similarly to Alluring Skulls, this spell can be used to divert the attention of quite a
few enemies in this area for at least a few seconds and this will hopefully save my undead
life multiple times.
So the first step now is to get back to Majula to raise my intelligence to 19 just to able
to use it.
Our
next step now is to meet Lucatiel to be able to summon her again against the Lost Sinner
and, at the same time, I'll also try to get my hands on the Covetous Silver Serpent Ring
to gain a little extra souls every time an enemy is defeated, so, to maximize the amount
of souls gained, it's important to get this before defeating the next few bosses.
A little dangerous, but still worth the risk.
Also, finally, welcome to the Lost Bastille.
With this scary jump I can easily unlock this door and access this little area from this
side even if I'm totally not supposed to be able to.
Come on...
damn it doggos, please...
There you go...
And we're totally still alive guys, I just have to...
Ok... nevermind.
Well, RIP 6000 souls I guess as it's just not really worth it to get back just
to pick them up so, well, let's go meet our next boss instead.
Now, the white phantom that I'm going to summon for the next bossfight is Pilgrim Bellclaire.
She's extremely powerful but alas fragile, a classic glass cannon mage and, considering
that I just gave up my healing capabilities to be able to cast Yearn, I'll have to make
sure that she doesn't take too much damage in the following fight.
Well, wish me good luck on this one.
This can go either way.
Bellclaire, well fought.
So behind one of these illusory walls, there's a chest containing the Hush spell, which might
be useful for sneaking past some enemies undetected later on in the run so it might be useful
to pick it up here.
There it is.
Ok then, in the next episode, alongside Lucatiel, we'll reach Sinner's Rise and hopefully lit
our first Primal Bonfire there so see you guys in episode 5.
This is SolTheCleric and peace out.
