ICE Director Fires Back At Sanctuary California — Throws Down The Gauntlet With 4 Words

This January, a law went into effect that makes all of California a sanctuary state.

The move is a pathetic attempt to undermine President Donald Trump's plans to protect

America, and it puts California's citizens at risk.

However, ICE Director Thomas Homan had some strong words for the super-liberal state,

and he didn't hold anything back.

Governor Jerry Brown recently made California a sanctuary state.

ICE Director Homan has something to say about that.

Sanctuary policy prevents local law enforcement from cooperating with federal agents.

Specifically, it prevents them from holding onto criminals who are illegal aliens.

Police are forced to let them go before ICE or other federal officers can apprehend them.

It is a shocking violation of federal law.

More than that, it jeopardizes the safety of every law-abiding citizen.

Liberal bastions throughout the United States have some form of sanctuary policy.

Democrats love them because it protects illegal aliens.

They are under the delusion that if they pander to illegals, they'll vote for them.

I'll let that sink in.

Yes, Democrats are that stupid and desperate.

These policies protect criminals.

They put the interests of murderers, drug dealers, and rapists above citizens.

Liberals don't seem to mind.

Acting ICE Director Homan spoke about California's new sanctuary status.

He very plainly said it's not going to stop the federal government.

California "better hold on tight."

Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Thomas Homan said California "better

hold on tight" after its liberal Democratic governor allowed a sanctuary state law to

take effect this week…

"I think it's terrible," Homan said, adding that Brown's action put politics

in front of public safety…

He said that rank-and-file police officers are opposed to the new measure and that Brown's

administration didn't consult them before approving the law.

"If [Brown] thinks he is protecting the community, he's doing quite the opposite,"

Homan said.

"[Brown] is knowingly putting law enforcement at risk."

"There's no sanctuary from law enforcement," he said.

"California better hold on tight – they're about to see a lot more deportation officers.

If politicians don't protect their communities then ICE will."

ICE Director Thomas Homan is not mincing words here.

Because of California's new sanctuary law, more ICE officers will be in the state.

Sanctuary laws only work if federal agents can't get to the arrested criminals in time.

ICE can conveniently circumvent the policy by having plenty of agents on the ground in

CA.

This might seem like a petty response by Homan, but he, in fact, has no choice.

Because of this terrible new law, California will become a magnet for criminal aliens,

more so than ever before.

Drug cartels, human traffickers, and other criminals will prioritize entering the U.S.

through California simply because they know they are safer there.

Doesn't that make you want to move to California right now?

No one in their right mind would say yes to that.

ICE Director Thomas Homan has to send more agents to California because of the increase

in danger.

Legions of criminal aliens will flood the state because of Jerry Brown's terrible

new law.

Homan said illegal alien smuggling organizations will use the California law as a "selling

point" and that Brown "bit off a lot more than he can chew."

Homan said that Brown and other sanctuary-jurisdiction leaders may have violated 8 U.S. Code § 1324

– relating to "harboring certain aliens."

He said he hopes the Justice Department will look into whether officials can be criminally

charged under the statute.

[Source: Fox New]

California does not know what kind of chaos it has unleashed.

Every corner of the state will be in danger.

Criminal aliens will exploit the region like never before.

The state already struggles.

It neglects needed infrastructure to support the free-loading aliens and criminals already.

Imagine how bad it will get in coming years.

It's a sad turn of events, for a once great state.

Liberal lawmakers are driving California into ruin.

What will it take for things to turn around?

Will the conservatives, who are still left, be able to right the ship?

Or will they smartly flee to greener pastures?

Only time will tell, but one thing is for certain: Things are not looking good for sunny

California or the slimy criminals whom they wish to provide sanctuary.

BREAKING!!! CALIFORNIA Gov To Be PROSECUTED! - Duration: 34:25.

BREAKING!!!

CALIFORNIA Gov To Be PROSECUTED!

It's happening, folks!

California might be on the path of being great again.

They've been hoarding illegal immigrants for ages, and it could all come to a close

sooner than we think.

Gov. Jerry Brown and his liberal Democratic leadership have placed public safety in harm

for way too long.

Every time an illegal immigrant criminal is protected under sanctuary status, the people

are then placed in danger.

California is like an apartment building overcrowded with illegal immigrant criminals and Hollywood's

sexual predators.

Almost sounds like a prison, right?

Throw in a few wildfires, and you've got a crazy movie that could write itself!

Too bad it seems like the California government already wrote the script.

Now things are changing.

Now Gov. Jerry Brown is facing prosecution and a force that can't be reckoned with.

If he has any morals or sense left, then he'll make things right by cooperating with federal

law and eliminating every sanctuary status that lingers in California and making the

streets less safe for everyday Americans.

California's Governor is about to get a knock on the door from Thomas Homan, the current

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director.

Homan straight up said that California "better hold on tight" the moment Brown allowed

the sanctuary state law to happen.

The point was made that the sanctuary city status might protect the criminals as they

illegally creep around our beloved American cities looking for another victim, but ICE

has plans to snatch them from their hideaways and send them packing.

It's time for the law to be followed, not turned into a joke, and Americans deserve

safety from harbored criminals who came to America illegally.

Fox News reports: "Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement

Director Thomas Homan said California "better hold on tight" after its liberal Democratic

governor allowed a sanctuary state law to take effect this week.

Neil Cavuto said that Gov. Jerry Brown claimed the law will protect illegal immigrants living

quietly in the shadows of society from law enforcement intent on "yanking them out

of there."

"I think it's terrible," Homan said, adding that Brown's action put politics

in front of public safety."

If Gov. Brown thinks he can protect all the illegal immigrant criminals and that's good

for Americans, then he's wrong.

That's not good for anyone except for those who break the law.

Imagine living in a city crawling with illegal immigrant criminals lurking by the wayside,

just waiting for the next victim to be at their mercy.

Some of the illegal immigrant criminals are involved in sexually related crimes that often

have children as victims.

Is that who Democrats like Gov. Brown wish to protect?

Those types of violent illegal immigrant criminals should be the first people deported.

Fox News continues: "There's no sanctuary from law enforcement,"

he said.

"California better hold on tight – they're about to see a lot more deportation officers.

If politicians don't protect their communities then ICE will."

According to text of the federal law cited by Homan, any person "knowing… the fact

that an alien has come to… the United States in violation of the law, conceals, harbors

or shields from detection… such [an] alien in any place" can face fines and/or up to

several years in prison."

Homan essentially suggests that Gov. Brown's activity could lead him to prosecution.

If liberal Democrat leader Gov. Brown is prosecuted and removed from office, then ICE could do

their work without facing any pushback from those who wish to harbor illegal alien criminals.

America has enough of its criminals, so why would anyone wish to contain more in their

country?

This is the same Gov. Brown who made it possible for people to infect others with HIV purposely

and it's no longer a felony.

I believe Governor Brown is breaking the law, needs to be prosecuted, and the people of

California will suffer significantly from him being in charge.

The time has come for an actual change and to Make

California

Great Again.

Mike Tyson Is Building A WEED RANCH in California | What's Trending Now! - Duration: 4:16.

Weed is officially legal in California, and Mike Tyson is getting in on the

"green rush" to profit off the newly open market. Welcome back to What's Trending,

I'm Shira Lazar. Be sure to LIKE this video and SUBSCRIBE for more social

media news daily. Mike Tyson has been many things in life: a boxer, a movie star,

a video game star, an animated detective, and a real-life criminal. And now he's

adding a "weed entrepreneur" to his Wikipedia page. According to The Blast,

Tyson and his two business partners planned to build a massive "cannabis

resort" in the deserts of Southern California. The trio officially broke

ground on their property in December. For some of you who may be living under a

rock, as of January 1st, California became the 6th state to legalize

recreational marijuana, so Tyson and countless others now have the ability to

sell marijuana legally with a license. And for all of you who want to buy it and

smoke a lot of weed, you can! Now I could tell my kids that back in my day we

dealers were sketchy creeps who just went to prison and were losers and now

they're millionaires! Oh how times have changed. The resort is called "Tyson Ranch"

and will dedicate half of its 40 acres to growing and cultivating the plant.

They plan to employ" professional growers" who will research and develop new

strains of weed. Also, Tyson Ranch plans to have an educational school and a

hydro-feed plant and supply shop for people looking to learn more about

growing cannabis themselves. But the main draw for Tyson's Ranch will be their

"premium 'glamping' campgrounds and cabins." And, don't worry, you won't be roughing it.

This is basically 'glamping.' They'll also have live music, an amphitheater, and a

factory for edibles. So you can have bowls of fun! The property is also close

to Edwards Air Force Base, and the plan is to staff the ranch with mostly veterans.

Tyson Ranch will also supply those in service with CBD, which is the compound

in marijuana. It doesn't get you high, but does alleviate stress, which has been

used to treat PTSD. So basically Mike Tyson is saving the world,

because he's gonna be supplying jobs, helping veterans, and guess what? When you

do anything with weed, you pay taxes, and that could help a lot. Like help with the

education system, and clean up our roads, and just help overall pay off the debt

of all of our cities. So it's a win-win! And to give you a

sense of how big this is, not just big in terms of how many people will be smoking

weed, but how much it can actually help, there will be thousands of jobs made and

California has the ability to collect 1 billion in tax dollars in 2018 alone. To

give you a little comparison, it took Colorado 3 years to hit 500 million.

That's half of what California would hit with this legalization in a year.

So, go California! Congrats on all your smoking. So we don't know

when Tyson Ranch will open, but the new business already has official support

from the local government. We're hoping the attraction will usher in a rebirth

for the surrounding areas. And Mike Tyson was known to use marijuana

well before it was legal. He even said in his memoir that he would get high before

a big fight. He also was very public about his marijuana use when he was

arrested for cocaine possession in 2007. So I guess he was ahead of his time. And

a lot of people on social media are posting their supports with comments

like: "I'm ready to work. Sign me up." And "How long will it take before he's gonna

shill a weedcoin?" But not everyone thinks that this new development is

amusing. According to Leafbuyer, a marijuana

industry website, California produces about 5 times the amount of weed that

Californians smoke. Even with tourism accounted for, California already makes more

marijuana than it knows what to do with. This also makes it much harder for

smaller businesses to compete in the market. And when industries like this go

mainstream and more celebrities jump on board, it's harder for mom and pops to

survive - the ones who have been there from the beginning. I mean think about

your local weed dealer. Doesn't he or she deserve a shot? at Tyson Ranch won't be

America's first weed resort. Colorado opened the country's first ever one in

2016. Called "CannaCamp," it's a 170 acre ranch with cabins,

supplied meals, and of course, an open smoking policy.

They also offer yoga! Now to state has several vacation packages with names

like Kush Tourism and High Life Tours purely for out-of-state visitors who

want to experience the pleasure of hassle-free bong hits. So what do you

think? Will you be planning a vacation at the Tyson Ranch? Let us know in the

COMMENTS below, and be sure to LIKE and SUBSCRIBE for more of What's Trending.

Santa Ana winds rapidly spread wildfires through shrubland,

tall grasses, and brush in southern California in December 2017.

In the Landsat 8 image from December 9th, smoke is carried

west by strong winds, which also spread fire through the

dry terrain, mountain passes, and canyons. The diagonal lines

are an airplane contrail and its shadow cast on the ground.

Landsat 8's December 25th image reveals the burn scar

and shows how close the fire burned near Santa Barbara.

As of January 2, the Thomas Fire has burned over

280,000 acres. The fire is almost entirely contained, but not before

becoming the largest fire in California's modern history.

Landsat's shortwave and near infrared bands combine to

clearly show the burned and unburned vegetation.

BREAKING!! A Day After Liberal California Legalizes Pot, AG Jeff Sessions Rains On Their Parade - Duration: 5:37.

A Day After Liberal California Legalizes Pot, AG Jeff Sessions Rains On Their Parade

With the start of the new year, California has legalized pot.

It is now legal to grow, buy, or use marijuana in the super liberal state.

I guess the leftist governor, Jerry Brown, was more concerned with getting high than

protecting his citizens from criminal aliens.

However, before Californians light up that spliff, they might want to learn what Attorney

General Jeff Sessions is doing.

It'll end your enjoyment pretty quickly.More and more states are legalizing marijuana.

It is a disturbing trend.

Legalizing "vice" is a popular tactic in Europe.

Governments think that by legalizing things like drug use and prostitution, they can better

control it.

The assumption is people are doing it anyway, so why not make it legal?

That always works out!

Instead, legalizing vice only leads to greater problems.

Just ask Colorado, which has been suffering ever since they legalized pot.

There has been a sharp increase in marijuana-related traffic deaths, poison control calls, and

emergency room visit, according to USA Today.

It has also only increased the black market.

But, hey, they increased tax revenue by 1.18 PERSENT.

To be clear, there is a big difference between medical marijuana use and recreational use.

Considering the serious drug epidemic in America, legalizing recreational drug use is shockingly

irresponsible.

California and other states are doing it simply to pander to a small group of citizens.

They are not thinking about the long-term consequences.

Hmm, liberals not thinking about the future?

Sadly, that sounds about right.

Now, Attorney General Jeff Sessions is weighing in on the issue.

Reports have come out that say he has overturned the long-standing policy that prevented the

federal government from intervention.

It looks like the DOJ is about to go hard on drug users across the country.

Better hide that bong, buddy!

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is going after legalized marijuana.

Sessions is rescinding a policy that had let legalized marijuana flourish without federal

intervention across the country.

That's according to two people with direct knowledge of the decision.

They were not allowed to publicly discuss it before an announcement expected Thursday

and spoke on condition of anonymity.

The move will leave it to U.S. attorneys where pot is legal to decide whether to aggressively

enforce federal marijuana law.

The move likely will add to confusion about whether it's OK to grow, buy or use marijuana

in states where it's legal, since long-standing federal law prohibits it.

The decision comes days after California began selling recreational marijuana.

Sessions compares marijuana to heroin and blames it for spikes in violence.

[Source: Fox News] You need to understand one thing: California's

legalization of pot is a direct attack on President Donald Trump's agenda.

Much like their recent sanctuary status, Governor Jerry Brown is doing everything he can to

oppose the administration.

President Trump announced one of the goals of his White House is to end the drug addiction

crisis.

Millions of Americans suffer due to drug abuse.

It is at epidemic levels.

DRUG ADDICTION AND OPIOIDS ARE RAVAGING AMERICA: Hundreds of thousands of Americans have lost

their lives to drug abuse, and it will only get worse unless action is taken.

In 2016, more than two million Americans had an addiction to prescription or illicit opioids.

Since 2000, over 300,000 Americans have died from overdoses involving opioids.

Drug overdoses are now the leading cause of injury death in the United States, outnumbering

both traffic crashes and gun-related deaths.

[Source: White House] At a time when so many families are suffering

from drug abuse, Jerry Brown legalizes marijuana.

How sensitive of him!

You'd think a party that pretends to care about regular people wouldn't put a loaded

gun into their hands.

Liberals claim they want to help the poor and working classes, but legalizing a drug

that so many of them abuse will only deepen their problems.

But, who cares, right?

At least Governor Brown got to stick it to Trump again!

Attorney General Jeff Sessions is getting ready to bring the pain to California.

With the rescinding of that policy, federal agents will go hard against anyone violating

drug laws.

States can pass all the laws they want; that won't stop the feds from busting in their

doors.

Make no mistake: liberals will continue to defy the president.

They will continue to push policies that are destructive.

It doesn't matter how many American lives are lost in the process.

We will only be free of their terrible leadership, once every last one of them is voted out of

office.

Until then, hacks like California's Jerry Brown will seek to drive us into the ground.
