Minecraft How To Build A Horse Stable Tutorial - Duration: 9:04.

hello guys my name is Rose Isle and today I am going to be showing you how

to make a Minecraft medieval horse stable so I originally came up with this

design for my building Thrones let's play so if you want to check that out

there'll be a link in the description below but anyways guys let's get

straight into building this so the first thing we're going to want to do is add

the foundation I chose spruce wood logs for this but you can use whatever log

you want and you're going to want to make a rectangular shape that is 23 by

15 blocks long now once you have that basic shape laid out where you're going

to want to do next is extend the width of the foundation out one block to serve

as columns later on these columns are going to be three blocks apart however

they're going to be five blocks apart at the center as there's going to be a

doorway there and once you have those columns done you're going to want to

extend it inwards as well five blocks leaving a three block gap in the center

of the building for a pathway later on feel free to pause it here so you can

get a good look at how the foundation is supposed to look though before we move

on to the next step for the next step all we're going to do is build up a wall

which you can already see me doing really all you have to do is build up

the wall four blocks from every log that you have placed for the foundation now

I'm just gonna be using stone bricks for these walls however if you're using a

default texture pack you might want to add a mixture of a couple other blocks

such as cobblestone or just regular stone to these stone bricks as well once

you have the walls completes what you're going to want to do next is to add the

ceiling or floor for the second floor of the building so I'm just going to be

using spruce wood planks to fill in the ceiling but also be sure to extend this

one block out from the wall as this will serve as part of the overhang for the

roof later on so once you get the ceiling filled in the next step is going

to be building the roof so the roof starts off with a small slope using

slabs and regular blocks and then will point up towards the center using stairs

so feel free to pause here as copying this exact design for the roof will

probably be the trickiest part of the building

however once you get a one block wide frame of the roof done it's going to be

very simple from there as you will just need to extend this frame across the

rest of the building is probably going to be the most tedious part of building

the horse table but once you get this done that will pretty much be it for any

large amount of block placing so once we get the rest of this roof finished up we

are then going to add a stone brick trim to the outer edges of the roof this will

give the roof much needed depth and detail that is otherwise lacking if we

had only used spruce wood planks for the roof so just follow the pattern I have

got going here and it should be pretty easy to place as it just aligns itself

with the roof we have already placed down also trim the front of the

building's roof with stone brick slabs and then repeat this trim pattern to the

other side of the roof and to the back of it as well now that we have all the

sides finished up we are then going to add stone brick slabs to the top of the

roof as well and then this will finish the roof completely so the next thing I

am going to do is fill in this top section I use Graywolf for this as it

has a nice med evilish look when used with this texture pack however if you're

using the default look you can use any white or gray blocks such as weld IRA or

quartz also I'm going to leave a gap in this wall and then add fences to the

side to serve kind of as a barn like window so once I got that all filled in

I thought this wood plank beam that overhangs here looked a little bland so

I just added in some spruce wood slabs on every other block and I think it

makes it look pretty nice but the next thing we're going to do is add some

windows to the front and back of the building so basically what I did here is

take out the top two rows in between the columns and then extrude it out one

block putting stone bricks on the top spruce fences in the middle and upside

down stairs on the bottom that the fences will sit on these windows will be

at the back of each stable basically serving as a window for the horses

themselves I'm going to go inside now and the first

thing I'm going to do is at the back of each stable I'm going to replace the top

row of stone bricks with stairs so it is easier to look out side of the windows

once that is complete the next step is going to be laying out the floor of the

building so on the inside of each stable I'm going to replace the floor with a

mixture of spruce planks in coarse dirt the core stir is there to basically

signify that an animal has been living there as it kind of gives it a messy

look and I decided not to follow any specific pattern here and I just added

the planks and coarse dirt at random so once I got the stable floors all filled

in I then added the floors to the walkways or the rest of the building I

decided to only use Spruce planks for this but if you like the messy look of

the floor inside the stables feel free to copy that for the rest of the

building if you want so once the floors are all finished up I

then added these spruce wood logs to this side of each of these middle

columns doing this will make the doorway to each stable two blocks wide instead

of the three that they were next we're going to add trapdoors to the top of the

spruce logs we just placed this will prevent the horses from being able to

walk on top of the block and escaping and it also gives it a nice look as well

so once we get these place we are then going to add two fence gates to each

stable the horses won't be able to walk over these and opening both of these

will allow us to go in and out with the horse we are then going to add a

staircase to the middle section of this building I decided to go with an odd

staircase that is one block wide on each end and then leaving a wall in the

middle the stairs will then loop back over this wall becoming a single three

block wide staircase to access the second floor so on the second floor I'm

going to use this area as a storage room for hay bales I didn't really have any

strategy for placing these mounds of hay I just randomly placed these until I

thought they looked good so once we get the second floor looking

nice I am then going to implement some of these hay bales into the stables as

well you can randomly place these to your

liking as well for me I kind of went with this triangle shape as you can see

here but into addition to these hay bales I'm also going to add a cauldron

in each of the stables and then fill some of them with water to act as a

trough or whatever once that is complete that is pretty much going to do it for

the inside though what I'm going to do next is to do some detail work on the

outside so I'm going to start off by adding some decorative features to the

sidewalls as these are part of the most bland part of the exterior so the first

thing I added was some flowerbeds which is just added three dirt blocks along

the middle of the wall and then put trapdoors over them and then adding

whatever flower I want the benches I just use upside down sprue stairs and

then I used slabs in the middle as like the sitting seating area and then I for

the windows I just knocked out two 1x2 windows along the middle and I just used

trap doors as shutters and then regular glass panes for the windows so just copy

this design over to the other side as well and then the sidewalls will be

looking a lot better okay so once we get that done the building is basically

complete I'm just going to add some extra features in the front starting

with this pathway you can do whatever you like for this I just made a path to

the river here and then forked it off the other way as well now I just used

coarse dirt as the material here I then also edit a mound of hay to the front as

well and then edit fences along the side of it

fences are there so someone could tie up their horse or whatever with a weed if

they wanted to I then spammed a bunch of bonemeal

around the building as the grass and flowers give some nice detail obviously

and then lastly the most important part of course is adding in the horses

themselves since that's the whole point of this build all right yeah so anyways

that's going to be it for this medieval horse stables tutorial I hope you guys

liked the design and hopefully the tutorial wasn't too hard to follow I

personally made it fast paced though since I'm not a huge fan of those long

20 minute step-by-step tutorials so yeah guys that's going to be about it

for this build before I go though I'm going to show this build in the default

texture pack as well as with shaders I'll also probably be doing more build

toriel's in the future mostly on builds that I make in my building thrown series

Let's Build A Prison -- Prison Architect -- Episode 4 -- Briscarben - Duration: 20:07.

Good morning

my fellow prisoner Architects

Today on Episode four we're gonna be waiting for the rest of these prisoners to come in so we can get an extra almost

$40,000 to start spending as you can see right now. We're about $1,000 in the hole, which is not too big of a problem

But we want to make sure we don't run out quite yet, so when these 79 prisoners come in

We should give us 40 back about $40,000 where we'll be able to continue to build the rest of this block

Hopefully we'll be able to build enough cells in here to house all of them

we're also gonna have to hire more guards as you can probably guess because

there's gonna be a significant large significantly larger amount of prisoners in our population so

I'm gonna speed this up see if we can get our prisoners in here our objectives tonight are gonna be the kind of

outlast the rest of this short term investment and the raise our capacity up to 50 so that way we'll be able to

Actually start making more money as you can see

We're still thousand dollars in the hole

All right so all of our prisoners have just come in

So what we're gonna do

Is we're gonna go ahead and start quick building some more cells

Just so that way we can get all of our stuff that we need done

530 is not too bad as far as cost of cells go

All right subsistence of the land has destroyed a section of our outer wall you have you should have it repaired immediately

Wonderful, so let's go ahead and pause real fast, so it seems that our wall has been destroyed some reason

All right, so we have an influx of prisoners

Not very many guards left

That's okay. Let's fill. This up what we're gonna. Do is we're also gonna hire a bunch more

All right there we go, so let's go back to quick building so we can get the rest of our cells put where they belong

again, we don't really have a whole lot of money to work with and we need to get all these prisoners housed as soon as

Possible let's go ahead and pause this as well real fast so that we can stop the intake

Because right now we're we have way too many prisoners in our population

There's 100 that we have and we only have capacity for 28. Let's go ahead continue doing this

Hopefully we'll have enough money to actually pay for all of this

So we'll just keep going up like this

OOP screwed that one up, but that's okay, so we go

There we go now we're back

So we've got that working, let's go ahead and build the brick walls all the way down

There we go alright, so we're gonna go ahead get this work and let's speed up the process

We'll do it I'll put more guards in here as well because again just got an anomaly large amount of cruisers

All right there we go

We keep burning through all of them now we have no money, but

Fortunately if you look we're almost at 64% capacity or to where we need to be

We're not making nearly enough food

Just problematic, so let's go ahead and see

We can do

We have our maximum amount of employees there

We're gonna hire some more cooks

We're gonna get one all right

So all most of the capacity we need we can now house 41 inmates out of the hundred that we have here

Let's see wondering how much it would cost a quick build

This entire chunk

All right, so that's $2,100 that's not too too bad

Okay

So what we're gonna, do is we're gonna finish up the rest of these cells

Should give us the next little bit that we need for the cell block

With that money that we received for doing that we're gonna go ahead and we're going to

Alright, so we've got that grant

Let's access another one real fast

There's a block C

So let's see raise our capacity to a hundred that's exactly what we need let's slow everything down real quick

So now we've got thirty thousand dollars to work with again

What we're gonna want to do is eventually we're gonna want to fix this whole cell block issue thing. That's going on

But currently let's go ahead and just start working on the next wave of

cell blocks

Alright, then we're just going to figure out what we're gonna do in this little hallway area, okay, so let's see that done

All right, so all of those cell blocks are done again. We're not gonna have enough for the hundred, but we could do

I'm gonna start busting this stuff down and start fixing it the way that we need to

Go and we can get those worked up

All right, then once we start making more money, then we'll be able to hire more kitchen staffs that we'll be able to feed everybody

Fortunately with what we have going on now

We don't have to worry too much about the danger level even though the danger level is not looking too great

And we have quite a few issues with the staff exhaustion and so

While we're and do we have the dogs we do have dogs they don't have

We don't have any Armory done yet

Yeah, so we're gonna have to build an armory at some point in the near future

But it's just gonna become problematic

With where we're at right now. I think what I'm gonna try and do in the next maybe one or two episodes

We're gonna try and just finish out this

prison and sell it

because right now

We're looking at

So if we sold this prison it would be a hundred and seventy dollars

That we would have made so we wouldn't made 120 versus what we started with which is pretty good

especially since it's gonna continue to rise the more that we

build on the cell or build on to the jail

So let's go ahead and speed things up

We need to get all of these other prisoners

Cells that they belong in

What we'll do in the meantime is will do a shakedown

Of everybody because we have so many new prisoners we want to make sure everybody's

Not anything bad as you can see right off the bat. We've got a ton of

things coming in

It was so almost all of the cells were made, but we still have a lot of issues with them

We have a lot of issues down here

All right, so let's check out our utilities, so we need to get water flowing

Alright, so what do we need to do this we need to dismantle that dismantled this?

Need to rebuild the walls

Oh

Good thing maybe what we need to do is just build a really big dormitory

Yeah, I think that's what we're gonna do we're gonna build a dormitory and then we'll just put a bunch of prisoners in there

Dormitory that should be able to help us get

for next a little bit of a grant that we need then we can start building the next part of

our

Jail

And what we'll also do is while we're thinking about it, let's go ahead and run fight

All right so our

Workers getting a lat were dealt. Let's speed it up

Hopefully we'll be able to get the rest of our prison Block C done soon. Oh

There's a dead body apparently

So there's a dead body, which is not good that means?

Actually, yeah, it impacts the amount of money that our prison you work

All right, so we have to outlast 24 hours for the dead body to go away, so these look like easy scores

So let's go ahead well get rid of the governmental security rating

Do a crackdown on drugs

And we'll do uh

Well, we can't do a short-term investment. Let's see here

Alright, so what I does

Just did is I just bought the rest of the beds to make this into what we need um

I think what we might have to do is turn this into another security room

Just because there's no real easy way for us to watch all the movies guys so maybe

is create a

CCTV network

That's gonna. Be very expensive for us to do

All right, well we got the capacity we needed

We're not taking it anymore prisoners

Let's do another shakedown remove all of the stolen weapons, so you may be moving at that $20,000 to a cleanup

What we're gonna do in the meantime start planning on making this into a yard out here

So looks like we just had a huge ball in the cafeteria

so let's go ahead and try this on the slow so that we can see what's happening I

So apparently three deaths today

Let's stop the shakedown cuz right now we have police that are earth people overall driver

We're gonna call them the riot police to try and get this under control

Let's get let's get all of our riot police in as fast as we can try and take control of the situation because

They've killed a couple officers

So all havoc is breaking out right now

Some paramedics in

Hire some more guards

So you hired a whole bunch of new guards hopefully they'll extend all of the issues

Alright, so we're locking all the doors. No one's getting anywhere

All right, so all of those people are locked out Wow everything that's really taking a turn for the worst

Once we get this ride under control

All right, I don't think the riots going on anymore

So that was absolutely awful, so we lost the riot police one's dead

All right, let's pick these guys in here

All right, so I think everybody's finally getting under control

Let's go ahead

Send a send away these riot. Please keep the paramedics here have them start actually helping everybody get to where they need to be

Let's check out the back. Let's see who we have left with a couple more doctors

Yeah, we'll hire well alright, so who all now we need to check out see what happened as far as the dead

So we've lost so the warden

He's dead wow they really did a number on us, so they killed the warden they killed the foreman

Let's go ahead hire. Everyone real fast and

Then they also killed the accountant man, they sure as heck did a lot to us

Get all those people who fixed up and send home the paramedics don't need them anymore

All the dead people are being taken away

You can also trim off these walls put a door

So we can actually access the yard it'll be a bigger yard for everybody to be in

Alright what else do we need to get done so 83 prisoners were shackled in their cells or in solitary

8 dead bodies God

prisons gotta be worth nothing now oh

Goodness ok so with all of that

We are quite

In debt with the way that our prison is looking so we can't sell it off

Yet until we get rid of all of these 24-hour deaths. There's almost 600 thousand dollars is what we've lost

Because of this little mishap that happened

The view is I want to hire more guards

We're gonna take everything really slowly and try and decrease the amount of danger that we have in this prison

All right

So I think for tonight

I'm gonna call it quits on this episode as you just saw that riot got handled

We lost a few inmates we lost a lot of employees

But right now our main objective is going to be to kind of repair and fix all of the things that went wrong

so that way next time we'll be able to get our facility back up to a higher level of
