Auto news on Youtube May 8 2018

Hi guys! Well summer is just around the corner. So you know what that means,

time for some summer shorts shopping. Just another excuse to do a little bit of

shopping. As if we need one. Well we checked out lots of stores and picked

out a few of our favorite summer shorts and then we combined them with some

outfits that we already own to bring you some great summer outfit ideas. This

first outfit features a pale pink pair of linen shorts that I picked up from

Express. I also found this adorable pink and black animal print summer scarf

while I was in Express which inspired me to create this look. I paired them both

with a black t-shirt and my black flat espadrilles. I think this look would be

perfect for running around on a summer day.

I found these khaki shorts at Old

Navy and I knew they were a great choice for summer. The classic color can be

paired with so many tops which makes them so versatile. Here I threw on a

basic white tee and a colorful summer scarf and added a brown belt and a tote

bag. This look is perfect for a casual summer day out.

Since I really loved the

linen shorts at Express, I also picked up this cream and charcoal

striped pair. My first thought was to pair them with a black or grey top to

match the stripes but I really liked how the off-white cami and cardigan on top

really keep the look so soft and summery. To keep that theme going I paired it

with a nude espadrille wedge, nude bag, and a delicate silver necklace. This

makes the perfect outfit for a nice Sunday brunch or a girls day out.

Here I'm wearing some olive green shorts also from Old Navy.

I chose the three and a half inch length because I felt it was most flattering on

my body but they had several lengths and styles available. I paired them with my

floral Portofino button-down that I picked up on my spring break haul, and my

nude belt, and wedges. I was so pleased with all the great color options this

summer. And I feel like I'll be able to put together so many outfits with these

shorts. This look is super casual and comfy yet still makes me feel stylish and put together.

These white denim cuffed shorts are from Old Navy and I

paired them with a short sleeved button-down striped top that ties at the

waist. I threw on my comfy converse style white sneakers and a summer straw bag.

And I'm ready for some outdoor fun and running errands all over town.

Here I chose a pair of coral shorts from Old Navy and paired it with my navy blue

floral blouse, and threw on my navy blue belt. I added a light tote bag and nude

wedge to keep the look summery. I can see myself wearing this to a barbecue or

a family day out.

We hope you enjoyed our summer shorts lookbook and feel inspired to put some

cute summer short outfits together yourself. If you like this video please

Met Gala red carpet: Celebrities show faith in fashion as New York event goes Catholic - Duration: 3:33.

(Cheering)

I'm so excited.

This is my first time.

I'm the back wall of the Sistine Chapel.

I'm the last judgement technically came along 20 plus years later.

But I'm where Christ decides who goes to heaven and who goes to hell...

...so I feel fairly important in this outfit I have to say.

Crosses-nails, crosses-rings, you know, head piece, red.

People have been posting like how many years it's been going on...

...I can't even believe how many years I've been coming to this as well.

It's always a magical night.

You feel like Cinderella coming up these stairs and you know getting dressed up and having such a fantasy...

...so it's a beautiful night in New York.

Honestly, I prefer sitting at home.

Eating chocolate chip cookies, but I got to say we are both New Yorkers.

She is from the Bronx, I played in the Bronx.

Any time we can celebrate fashion in New York City and she looks like this, yeah!

I feel good, girl!

This! All of this!

Met Gala 2018: Standout Fashion Moments | THR News - Duration: 3:10.

New York City got a little more heavenly Monday night as

some of the biggest names across film, television,

music and fashion stepped out at the 2018 Met Gala red carpet.

The dress code for this year's event was "Sunday Best"

to tie in with the opening of the museum's

"Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination" exhibition.

Suffice to say that many a cross, crown and halo were seen.

Attendees came dressed as saints, sinners, angels, even a female Pope,

which made for some "sublime and some ridiculous fashion statements,"

according to Booth Moore, editor of Pret-a-Reporter,

The Hollywood Reporter's fashion and beauty destination.

Moore reviewed the night's standout style statements,

so let's take a look now at how it all broke down.

Katy Perry went kitsch this year in 6-foot-wide Versace angel wings

and gold go-go boots, while Sarah Jessica Parker opted for

a Dolce & Gabbana baroque-patterned cathedral

train and an actual Nativity altar on her head.

But, says Moore, "Both were outdone by Rihanna, reigning goddess

of the Met Gala red carpet." Indeed, the singer,

who served as co-chair of the Gala this year, outshone

pretty much everyone in a custom corseted mini-dress

by John Galliano which took 250 hours to sew.

As Moore puts it succinctly, Rihanna "stuck it to the patriarchal

Catholic church by dressing as the female leader it's never had."

Meanwhile, for her political statement, actress Lena Waithe

donned the rainbow-colored flag of LGBQT activism.

And Scarlett Johansson made a bold move by stepping

out in a dip-dyed, scarlet-red gown by Marchesa,

the brand co-founded by Harvey Weinstein's ex-wife Georgina Chapman.

Johansson is the first A-lister to wear the brand on

the red carpet since the sexual harassment scandal broke.

Though Kanye West sat this Met Gala out in the midst of

his recent controversial comments, Kim Kardashian West

hit the red carpet in a Versace gold chain mail gown.

Most likely due to the theme of the event, there were no

nearly-naked dresses or butt-baring gowns this year.

As Moore puts it: "There were actual holy rollers in attendance,

after all, including men of the cloth, and I don't just mean designers."

In fact, Madonna "looked positively pious," says Moore,

in her Goth gown with cross motif by Jean Paul Gaultier.

The French designer has been dreaming up her looks

since back in the day when she was getting

condemned by the Vatican for wearing cone bras.

Meanwhile, Frances McDormand displayed the feisty rebel spirit

so familiar from this year's Oscars. The Academy-award winning

actress arrived in zero makeup, but she did wear about

40 butterflies as part of a headdress to top off her Valentino couture.

The men, meanwhile "were certainly no altar boys," says Moore.

Chadwick Boseman rocked a white Versace suit embroidered with crosses,

while Donald Glover stepped out in a lilac Gucci tuxedo

with churchy white loafers, "looking like he was

ready to take the pulpit and preach 'This is America.'"

Jared Leto, who Moore calls "the patron saint of Gucci,"

suited up in baby blue, wore a gold crown on his head

and escorted Lana del Rey. For her part, Del Rey wore a gown

with sacred heart and dagger motif inspired by Our Lady of Sorrows.

And Jaden Smith, who really knows how to accessorize a look,

"did not disappoint," according to Moore.

Last year, the son of Will and Jada carried his freshly-shorn dreadlocks,

and this year the Louis Vuitton-clad Smith carried

the gold-certification plaque for his new hit song, "Icon."

A$AP Rocky Roasts 50 Cent Back Over His Fashion Sense - Duration: 4:11.

A$AP Rocky Roasts 50 Cent Back Over His Fashion Sense

50 Cent holds no bars when it comes to roasting people.

Whether its Kanye Wests liposuction reveal or his feud with Jim Jones, he has jokes for days and brings it to Instagram for others to laugh with him.

A$AP Rocky was his most recent victim on his online roasting.

Fif had some jokes to get off over A$AP Rockys Gucci bag.

50 isnt someone whos known for his fashion senses so it didnt take long for A$AP Rocky to clap back at the OG and his mentor, Eminem.

A$AP Rocky had to remind 50 Cent why hes one of the most fashionable people in hip hop.

The Bad Company rapper went in on 50 Cents fashion choice in the Instagram comments, although it was all in good fun.

OH U AKADEMICS, ENEYCE, GENO GREEN WEARING MECCA MODEL IN THE FACE ASS , U STILL BUY ECHO 4 YA SIDE HOES, Rocky wrote in the comment section.

Fif wasnt letting that one slide and responded, dont get me at me, because you dressing like a little girl.

I love you my brother, LOL..

However, Rocky wasnt done just yet.

FIF DRESS LIKE HIM N EMINEM GOT THE SAME STYLIST..

Clearly, this was done in good fun and hones into their New York City upbringing.

Hopefully, well see a 50 Cent guest appearance on Rockys forthcoming album, Testing.
