Welcome to my ICBM Classic Showcase
In this video we will cover grenades and their effects.
Note: I display the explosive block recipes, to make it a grenade you need to craft the
block then put it in a crafting table with string.
First up is the conventional grenade.
You throw the grenade by holding right click.
Their explosions are smaller than the explosive's block form, and it has a longer fuse timer
than the block form.
Next up is the Shrapnel grenade.
The grenade explodes flaming arrows and will set only entities on fire.
The block form of this does 10 damage per arrow.
Onto the indendiary grenade, this grenade releases flames, obviously, and burns everything
around it when detonated.
The fire spread can be contained as shown in the video.
Moving away from the destructive grenades we have the debilitation grenade.
It will release chemicals for roughly 30 seconds.
Players near it will gain poision, mining fatigue, and slowness 3.
The
more potent version of this is the chemical grenade.
It release a fog of toxic gas that will induce Posion, Nausea, Hunger, Weakness, and Mining
Fatigue.
This is a great option for breching a base full of active players.
Upgrading the shrapnel grenade to an anvil grenade is more comedic than anything to me.
Instead of flaming arrows you will get anvils everywhere.
An efftive use of the anvil explosive would be to use a repulsive grenade with them to
increase the blast radius.
Speaking of, here we have the repulsive grenade.
The explosion will sling entites away from the blast.
This works will as a tripmine or in tandem with trip wire.
The opposite is an attrative grenade.
This explosive works well for setting traps in a larger area.
You can use this in tandem with conventional explosive or really any other explosive.
