World War 3: US to unleash LASER GUNS, mini-nukes and ROBOTS against North Korea

As fears continue that Pyongyang might provoke , senior American military experts have warned revolutionary weaponry could be launched against the hermit kingdom.

According to The Sun, cutting-edge war drones worth billions of dollars would be deployed against Kim Jong-un's army in the event of a conflict. Called Lightning Strike drones, they can land on almost any terrain.

The weapons, still under development by Aurora Flight Sciences, could even carry soldiers for a land battle.

And the US Army could also use laser guns or unmanned tanks called Black Nights, designed by BAE Systems, in its fight against the despotic regime.

There is even the prospect of robot gun units being deployed to takeout the enemy. Military chiefs in the US have also recommended using miniature nuclear weapons to target key areas of the country, despite the obvious risks.

The paper reported the bombs' intensity can be controlled to cause as little or as much damage as commanders want.

If approved for production and successfully built, they could theoretically take out a specific town or complex but leave the rest of the country untouched.

The new weapons could be paid for from a planned $700 billion defence budget laid out for 2018 by Donald Trump and supported this week by US congressional defence committees.

Active troop levels are set to increase by 16,000 with plans to buy 90 stealthy F-35 fighter jets made by Lockheed Martin.

President Trump is currently on a tour of Asia as he seeks help to rein in the rogue state, which has caused global outrage with its missile launches.

He arrived in China today with the aim of convincing Beijing to take stronger action against its communist ally and trading partner.

Speaking in Seoul, Mr Trump used some of his toughest language yet against North Korea,a causing it of widespread human rights abuses.  He called on countries around the world to isolate Pyongyang by denying it any form of support, supply or acceptance. The President warned the regime: "Do not underestimate us and do not try us.

Mr Trump said people were suffering in gulags and some bribed government officials to work as slaves overseas rather than live under the Pyongyang regime.

Finland orders biggest ever military drill with US forces fearing Russian attack - Duration: 4:19.

Finland orders biggest ever military drill with US forces fearing Russian attack

After Russian president 's annexation of Crimea following unrest in Ukraine in 2014, the threat to Scandinavia has grown significantly and now Finland is planning to step up its defence.

Jussi Niinistö, the Finnish defence minister, has invited forces to participate in a large-scale military exercise, which could be held as early as 2020. He told reporters: "Finland has been attending all kinds of exercises during the recent years.

It's time to have our own."  Neighbouring Sweden held an exercise in September, dubbed 'Aurora', which included troops from France, the US, Nordic and Baltic countries, as well as 19,000 Swedish troops – and Finland wants to host something similar.

If Finland holds a similar drill, as planned, it would be the biggest the country has ever hosted. Mr Niinistö added: "Sweden said it is ready to participate.

But so far I've only raised the issue with my counterparts and opened the door for more discussions." The comments come as US Defence Secretary James 'Mad Dog' Mattis visits the Finnish capital for a meeting with the Northern Group, a defence forum which includes Britain, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland and Sweden.

In 2015, the Northern Group branded Russia the biggest challenge to European security and decided to come together to better defend the region against aggression from Moscow.

Last month, Norway said an electronic attack that jammed GPS on flights came from Russia and occurred at the same time Putin's forces were carrying out their 'Zapad' military drills nearby.

Frank Bakke-Jensen, Norway's defence minister, said: "We know this noise came from the other side of the border. "But disabling air traffic like this is something we have prepared for, so it didn't affect us.".

Finland, which shares a 833-mile border with Russia, has moved to develop closer ties with the West and Niinistö's meeting with President Trump in August is further proof of deepening relations with the US.

Charly Salonius-Pasternak, a senior research fellow at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, believes Washington's engagement through the Northern Group is extremely important. He said: "There is a lot less tone deafness from Washington these days about the domestic situation [in Finland].

"And this is actually allowing for more cooperation than ever before to take place, both in public and behind the scenes." Plans for the Finnish military drill will show Russia that Scandinavia is serious about defence and preventing any future crises.

Former US diplomat James Townsend said: "In the region, it's a big deal. It's a sign to neighbours, Russia and to the Finnish people that things are changing.".

US Navy to run rare strike drill in western Pacific as Trump threatens North Korea - Duration: 2:38.

US Navy to run rare strike drill in western Pacific as Trump threatens North Korea

The USS Ronald Reagan, USS Nimitz and the USS Theodore Roosevelt will take part in exercises from Saturday to Tuesday.

The strike group will practice everything from air defence drills, sea surveillance and defensive air combat training, to close-in coordinated manoeuvres and replenishments at sea.

The last time a three-carrier group took part in exercises like this was in 2006 and 2007 during drills off the coast of Guam.

Admiral Scott Swift, the head of US Pacific Fleet, said: It is a rare opportunity to train with two aircraft carriers together, and even rarer to be able to train with three.

"Multiple carrier strike force operations are very complex, and this exercise in the Western Pacific is a strong testament to the US Pacific Fleets unique ability and ironclad commitment to the continued security and stability of the region..

"It is a rare opportunity to train with two aircraft carriers together, and even rarer to be able to train with three" Admiral Scott Swift It comes as Donald Trump ramped up the fighting talk against Kim Jong-un.

Addressing the North Korea crisis, the US President tweeted: NoKo has interpreted Americas past restraint as weakness. This would be a fatal miscalculation. Do not underestimate us. AND DO NOT TRY US..

Yesterday, he landed in China for a crunch meeting with President Xi Jinping. North Korea will be at the top of the agenda as Trump tries to pressure Beijing into cracking down on Pyongyang. China is one of North Korea's only allies.

China fears unpredictable Trump: Beijing's panic over US Pesident's visit revealed - Duration: 3:53.

China fears unpredictable Trump: Beijing's panic over US Pesident's visit revealed

The US President is under the constant scrutiny from an elite group of Chinese think-tankers, diplomats and scholars known as the America Watchers.

But they have their work cut out trying to accurately define the unpredictable New York billionaire who threatens nuclear war and rides roughshod over diplomatic niceties.

Chinese President Xi Jinping thrives on stability but has found it short supply in its most important foreign relationship.

Andrew Scobell, an expert on China at the Rand Corporation, told the FT: "When they are making decisions about policy they are always very interested in how the US will respond.

"They want a predictable response, whether it is good or bad, they just want predictable.

"In that sense, President Trump is a real enigma, because he is rather unpredictable." Many of China's "Americanologists" hold doctorates from top US universities, and their speciality is one of the best-funded of the social sciences in China.  Mr Scobell said: "You'll often find someone who has one set of views in a one-on-one chat sounds very different when they are writing a column in a Chinese newspaper.

They will be much more hawkish. "They feel like they have to inoculate themselves from being considered too pro-American."  .

Mr Trump's election victory 12 months ago stunned most go China's Americanologists, who failed, along with most US political experts, to predict it.

Yanmei Xie of Beijing consultancy Gavekal Dragonomics told the FT: "There was a lot of initial panic in China when Trump was elected, a lot of 'how do we handle this guy and who do we need to contact to establish communications?' "But China's management of Trump has been mature.

They have a good reading of Washington." Mr Trump is in China as part of his 12-day tour of Asia an North Korea is high on the agenda.

Mr Trump has threatened to unleash "fire and fury" on North Korea and has regularly taken to Twitter to issue threats against Pyongyang.

But he appears to have toned down the rhetoric on his Asian tour and yesterday urged Kim Jong-un to engage in talks on his nuclear ambitions.

He wants China to stand firm against its reclusive neighbours and observe tough trade sanctions adopted by the UN Security Council in a bid to end the crisis in the region.

But Shi Yinhong, a US specialist at Renmin University, said Mr Trump's tweeting "has boiled the US-China relationship down into one issue that is not solvable: North Korea".

World War 3: US and EU back Lebanon amid row with Saudi Arabia – Gulf CATASTROPHE feared - Duration: 4:44.

World War 3: US and EU back Lebanon amid row with Saudi Arabia – Gulf CATASTROPHE feared

EU ambassadors to Lebanon said they reaffirmed their strong support for the continued unity, stability, sovereignty, and security of Lebanon and its people.

They also called on all sides to pursue constructive dialogue and to build on the work achieved in the last 11 months towards strengthening Lebanons institutions and preparing parliamentary elections in early 2018, in adherence with the Constitution.

On Tuesday, US State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert issued a declaration of support to Lebanon amid growing unrest in the Middle East. She said: "The United States strongly supports the legitimate institutions in the Lebanese state.

We expect all members of the international community to respect fully those institutions and the sovereignty and political independence of Lebanon."  The EU and US support comes after Saudi Arabia accused the Middle Eastern country of declaring war following "aggression" against the kingdom by Shia group Hezbollah.

Saudi Gulf affairs minister Thamer al-Sabhan said the Iran-backed Lebanese group had attacked his country. In an interview with Al-Arabiya TV, he said the Lebanese administration would now be "dealt with as a government declaring war on Saudi Arabia".

He claimed Hezbollah's actions were considered acts of a declaration of war against Saudi Arabia by Lebanon and by the Lebanese Party of the Devil". Al-Sabhan said the message had also been delivered to Lebanese prime minister Saas al-Hariri, a Saudi ally.

Al-Hariri resigned at the weekend saying he feared an assassination plot against him, accusing Iran and Hezbollah of threatening peace in the Middle East.

After the shock exit, al-Sabhan tweeted: Lebanon, after the resignation, will never be the same as before. It will not accept to be in any case a platform for launching terrorism to our countries.  .

Lebanese president Michel Aoun, a Hezbollah ally, has refused to accept Hariris resignation, saying he first wants him to return to Lebanon so he can meet him in person to understand the reasons.

Despite Washington's decision to side with Lebanon on this issue, the US has joined Saudi Arabia in pointing the finger at Iran for the recent failed missile attack on Riyadh.

While President Trump continues his 12-day tour of Asia, the White House has condemned the missile attack by Yemens Houthi militias on Saudi Arabia and said Iran enabled the launch amid increasing instability in the Middle East.

In a statement, the White House said: Houthi missile attacks against Saudi Arabia, enabled by Irans Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, threaten regional security and undermine UN efforts to negotiate an end to the conflict." The news comes after Saudi Crown prince Mohammed bin Salman accused Iran of arming militias - something he branded a "clear act of aggression" which could be considered "an act of war".  Iran has denied the accusations and instead mocked Saudi Arabia.

The country's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif posted on Twitter this week: "KSA [the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia] bombs Yemen to smithereens, killing 1000s of innocents including babies, spreads cholera and famine, but of course blames Iran.

Elite US Golf Club Just Sent Nasty Message To Trump – Responds With Something Better - Duration: 5:58.

President Donald Trump is a member of the elite Winged Foot Golf Club in Westchester

New York.

It's now being reported that members have had to come out swinging because the club

is refusing to honor him by putting up an official portrait of the President.

Insiders report that the Republican members amongst the 800 total members of the exclusive

golf club which charges as much as $200,000 in initiation fees have been lobbying to put

up a portrait of President Trump inside Winged Foot's stone clubhouse.

But opponents are refusing to do so.

One insider went on to state that President Donald Trump has been a member since 1969

and there is a big push to honor him at the club.

He later also added that all members should be proud that the president of the United

States is a current member of Winged Foot, "It is prestigious to have him here."

But the senior club management thinks otherwise.

The club was contacted for an official statement on the matter but there has been no reply

as of yet.

Although there is speculation that the decision not to honor President Trump is either to

avoid driving a wedge between members, some of which include many prominent New York law

firm partners and investment bankers who are left-leaning in political views, or a financial

move so as not to offend any charities or organizations that may wish to hold events

there.

President Trump was quick to respond to the fact that he has his own golf courses that

people would prefer to go to over this one who showed disrespect to our commander in

chief.

Trump Golf Links Ferry Point

Course Overview

Trump Golf Links Ferry Point is a 222-acre parcel in the Throgs Neck section of the Bronx,

located on the east side of the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge, which crosses the East River and connects

the Bronx with the borough of Queens.

It's bordered by housing to the east, while the western boundary is lined by the Hutchinson

River Parkway, and the course can be easily accessed from all of New York City's boroughs.

The 7,400-yard Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course, designed in consultation with Sanford

Design, will be operated by the Trump Golf team and will be a part of the global golf

portfolio of native New Yorker and avid golfer Donald Trump.

Scheduled to open to the public in 2015, with some programming—primarily junior golf—available

in the summer 2014, Ferry Point will offer spectacular views of the Manhattan skyline

from most of its 18 holes.

Ferry Point will be a nearly treeless, Irish links-style course, designed to look mature

from its early years and featuring tall, flowing native grasses and dunes with teeing grounds

that rise as high as 55 feet above grade.

"I think Ferry Point will be a tremendous golf experience," Nicklaus said.

"I've been asked to create something that is world-class, a source of pride for New

York City, and if they wanted to hold a national or international event, a course that will

be a strong golf course from the back tees.

Most important, the course needs to service the needs of those in the Metropolitan New

York area who hopefully will play Ferry Point.

"Ferry Point was created to be a unique public golf experience and it is our collective

hope that the golf course will add to New York City's global reputation, enhance New

York's reputation for quality golf, and give the proud residents of New York City

a place to play and call home.

Donald Trump has a deep-rooted love for New York City and he deserves a great deal of

credit for getting Ferry Point to the finish line and for delivering it to the golfers

and golf fans of New York."

The golf experience at Ferry Point will not only be a uniquely special one, with spectacular

views and aesthetics, its strength will be the strategy and shot values integrated by

Nicklaus, the world's preeminent course designer.

The Golden Bear, recognized as history's greatest golfer, has been involved in the

design of nearly 300 golf courses worldwide.

His renowned Nicklaus Design firm has created more than 380 golf courses in 36 countries

and 39 states.

More than 100 Nicklaus Design golf courses have hosted a combined total of more than

750 professional tournaments or significant national championships.

"If you are going to have a golf course that has the ability to host a high-profile

national or international event, you have to have some spice in it," Nicklaus added.

"Our goal as a public golf course is to have it play well on a daily basis and serve

the needs of those golfers who visit Ferry Point.

But when asked to host an event, we believe we have the ability to move to the back tees,

hide the pins, and create a test of golf fitting of any tournament or championship."

The course is part of a city-funded redevelopment project.

The park was originally built during the construction of the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge completed in

1939, and for two decades after World War II, Ferry Point was used as a landfill.

The Jack Nicklaus-designed course will be the first championship-level course in New

York City and will help meet the high demand for golf in the metropolitan area, as the

city's 13 existing municipal golf courses typically boast full tee sheets.

Are you freaking kidding me?

Now the picture of our president it offensive?

Many of us were very offended having to look at former president Barack Hussein Obama's

picture for 8 long and dark years, but we survived.

The left will survive seeing Trump's picture for 7 more years.

US and EU back Lebanon amid row with Saudi Arabia – Gulf CATASTROPHE feared

THE European Union has echoed US support for Lebanon following the resignation of prime

U.S. President Donald Trump addresses South Korea's National Assembly - Duration: 3:22.

Trump became the first American leader to address the nation's parliament in nearly

a quarter-century.

His speech mainly centered on North Korea,... warning the regime of the dangerous path it's

on, and calling on countries including China and Russia to fully implement UNSC resolutions.

Kim Min-ji has the highlights of his message.

Trump's address to the National Assembly, the first by a sitting U.S. president in 24

years,... was relatively reserved with no surprises.

But he did send a stern message to North Korea during his speech,... which lasted over half

an hour.

Trump said the weapons that Pyongyang possesses,... are not making the regime safer,... but putting

it in grave danger.

(English) "Every step you take down this dark path increases

the peril you face.

North Korea is not the paradise your grandfather envisioned.

It is a hell that no person deserves."

In fact, the North Korea nuclear issue has topped Trump's Asia tour,... following a series

of missile launches,... as well as the North's most powerful nuclear test back in September.

He said that the world cannot tolerate the menace of the rogue regime and its threats

of nuclear devastation,... calling on the international community, including China and

Russia, to fully implement UN Security Council resolutions,... downgrade diplomatic relations

with the regime and sever all ties involving trade and technology.

(English) "All responsible nations must join forces

to isolate the brutal regime of North Korea, to deny it and any form, any form of it, you

cannot support, you cannot supply, you cannot accept.

It is our responsibility and our duty to confront this danger together, because the longer we

wait, the greater the danger grows and the fewer the options become."

For America's part,... Trump said the U.S. will not be intimidated by the North,... and

neither will he permit his country or his allies to be threatened or attacked.

The U.S. leader warned Pyongyang that while America does not seek conflict or confrontation,...

it will NOT run from it.

(English) "This is a very different administration than

the United States has had in the past.

Today I hope I speak not only for our countries, but for all civilized nations when I say to

the North,...

Do not underestimate us.

And do not try us."

However, Trump did say that the U.S. will offer Pyongyang a better path... should it

cease its threats and dismantle its nuclear program,... despite the crimes it has committed.

(Standup) "There had been concerns that he would step

up his rhetoric... as he has done previously,... especially this being the only parliamentary

address during his five nation Asia tour.

It was instead was more or less in line with the comments he made Tuesday during summit

talks with President Moon Jae-in,... in which he called on North Korea to come to the table

and make a deal.

Presidents of U.S., China hold summit talks - Duration: 2:30.

President Trump is now on the third leg of his five-nation tour of Asia.

China's Xi Jinping is making sure Trump gets the red carpet treatment,... lavishing him

with a palace treat on Wednesday evening.

But the two leaders are getting down to business today, with summit talks being held this morning.

Oh Jung-hee reports.

The summit talks between U.S. President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping started

Thursday morning.

While specific details haven't been released as of yet,...

U.S. officials have said... Trump will press Xi to tighten the screws on Pyongyang... by

fully enforcing international sanctions... such as limits on oil exports, coal imports

and financial transactions.

(Chinese) "China is close to running out of measures

to pressure North Korea.

So, I think China may try to compromise... by somewhat stepping up the sanctions measures.

But that would be still far from what Trump expects."

In terms of trade, Trump is expected to have brought up the same issues that he had with

his South Korean and Japanese counterparts.

(English) "We've seen great growth and trade between

our two countries, but there are some concerns about having more reciprocity and reducing

the balance of payments deficit between the United States and China."

According to Bloomberg,... the White House expects to announce upwards of $250 billion

in business deals in China this week.

Many of the deals are expected be in the form of non-binding memorandums of understanding,

not contracts... and mostly concentrated in the energy sector.

Also to watch for is how the two leaders have redefined their partnership... and assured

stability in bilateral relations.

China's state-owned People's Daily reports... that Beijing aims to construct a "cooperative

and mutually profitable relationship" with Washington.

Trump landed in Beijing on Wednesday afternoon.

This is his first visit to China since taking office... as well as the first state visit

Xi has received... since the end of the 19th Chinese Party Congress.

Chinese diplomatic officials have been stressing that Trump will receive a "state-visit-plus"

treatment, with both formal and informal get-togethers arranged.

The two presidents spent their first night at China's historical imperial palace, the

Forbidden City,... drinking tea, watching traditional Peking Opera,... and enjoying

a special banquet.

the United States has had in the past.

World War 3: North Korea sparks attack warning siren tests in US

The US state already has warnings for hurricanes, tsunamis and earthquakes, but is adding an "attack warning" to the list.

From 1 December a 50 second 'wavering' attack siren will be added to the natural disaster test alert.  This attack warning was last used during the Cold War in the 1980s.

If used as an actual warning, it would signal the need for residents to hide immediately.

Hawaii Emergency Management Administrator Vern Miyagi said: You cant take time to call your wife, your kids, your husband to pick them up and try to find a shelter.  There is no time for that. Officials in the paradise islands have said an attack is unlikely, but something they cannot ignore.

Mr Miyagi said: "As Hawaii prepared for this over the last couple of months, we've been getting inquiries from other states, working with Guam also, but (also), 'What are you guys doing? Why are you doing this?.

"And like I said, this is because there was an elephant in the room, and we have to address it." North Korea exploded a nuclear device on September 3 that may have yielded 250 kilotons.

The Hiroshima blast was about 15 kilotons. The Hawaii Emergency Management unveiled a sample of the 'wavering siren' at a preparedness presentation on Saturday.

Hawaii has been depicted as a target by North Korea, but Mr Miyagi thinks a strike on Hawaii is unlikely.

He said: "He has a limited amount of missiles, and there are many, many closer-in targets that he is guaranteed of hitting, such as Japan and South Korea and even the continental United States.

If he heads it that way, he'll hit something. "Hawaii is a very tiny target.

Guam is a very tiny target for him." The island is working on a comprehensive emergency plan. Pamphlets are being revamped and a further warning system for mobile phones is being created. .

Residents have also been told to have 14 days of emergency supplies in their homes, rather than the seven that can suffice in case of a hurricane or other natural disaster.

Mr Miyagi predicts Hawaii's residents will only have 15 minutes to seek shelter once Pyongyang fire a rocket.

He said: Pacific Command would take about five minutes to characterise a launch, where the missile is going, which means the population would have about 15 minutes to take shelter. Its not much time at all.

But it is enough time to give yourself a chance to survive. North Korea have tested a number of ballistic missiles over the past few years and some western experts fear that they have the range to strike both Hawaii and Alaska.  It comes as US President Donald Trump arrived in China seeking help to rein in North Korea, telling the reclusive states leader Kim Jong-un he was putting his country in grave danger by developing nuclear weapons.

U.S. President Trump lands in China for three-day visit - Duration: 2:17.

President Donald Trump landed in the Chinese capital less than three hours ago following

his visits to Japan and South Korea.

Oh Jung-hee tells us what he and Chinese President Xi Jinping will be working on... during Trump's

three-day visit.

U.S. President Donald Trump landed in Beijing on Wednesday afternoon,... for his three-day

visit to China -- the third stop of his five-nation Asia tour.

This is President Trump's first visit to China since taking office... as well as the first

state visit Chinese President Xi Jinping has received... since the end of the 19th Chinese

Party Congress.

Diplomatic officials from China have been stressing that Trump will receive a "state-visit-plus"

treatment, with both formal and informal get-togethers arranged.

And for that, Trump's first night in Beijing, includes a special evening with Xi at China's

historical imperial palace, the Forbidden City.

Previous American presidents have only VISITED the palace.

But Trump is expected to drink tea, watch a Beijing opera,... and enjoy a special banquet

with his Chinese counterpart,... becoming the first U.S. president to do so.

The summit talks between Presidents Trump and Xi are scheduled for Thursday.

U.S. officials say Trump will press Xi to tighten the screws on Pyongyang... by fully

enforcing international sanctions... such as limits on oil exports, coal imports and

financial transactions.

(Chinese) "China is close to running out of measures

to pressure North Korea.

So, I think China may try to compromise... by somewhat stepping up the sanctions measures.

But that would be still far from what Trump expects."

In terms of trade, Trump is expected to bring up the same issues that he had with his South

Korean and Japanese counterparts.

(English) "We've seen great growth and trade between

our two countries, but there are some concerns about having more reciprocity and reducing

the balance of payments deficit between the United States and China."

Also to watch for is how the two leaders define their partnership... and assure stability

in bilateral relations.

China's state-owned People's Daily reports... that Beijing will work to construct a "cooperative

and mutually profitable relationship" with Washington.
