Nancy when we talk about getting more wind, where do we get it from?

Now you talked about instate wind, what does that mean?

Well California should have alot of instate wind to develop, unfortunately they, the local

governments and federal governments, which owns alot of land in California have kind

of put alot of wind off limits.

Unfortunately, they've said wind is prohibited in alot of the areas where we would need to develop.

Right.

So unfortunately there aren't alot more to be developed in California, so we want to

make sure the existing wind resources, actually the pioneer resources in the 1980's, we want

to make sure we preserve and enhance those by repowering them with new technology.

California is already been getting wind from out of state.

The real issue is how we are going to make use of the existing transmission grids in

the west, because there's actually alot of capacity, there is also alot of room to move

electrons across the west

But outside of Cal ISO, there is no market for those wires, so they're reserved but they're

not used.

And so we have to see how we can get that wind onto those wires on, with what is known

as conditional firm service, to get CAISO to take control of the resources out of state

As to operate them as if they are in the Cal ISO grid and that and some advanced grid technologies,

we think there is enormous potential to get wind into California without any transmission

upgrades, without CAISO expansion.

Climate change is like a religion for the left.

California's far left governor Jerry Brown recently proved it by suggesting Americans

need brain washing to believe in it.

The Sacramento Bee reports:

World needs 'brain washing' on climate change, Jerry Brown says at Vatican

Gov. Jerry Brown challenged the world's religious leaders to further engage as he

minimized the negative effects of President Donald Trump on meeting the climate-change

challenge.

"The Trump factor is very small, very small indeed," in comparison to the commitments

taking place around the world, Brown said to a burst of applause Saturday at an event

organized by the Vatican's Pontifical Academy of Sciences.

"That's nothing to cheer about, because if it was only Trump that was a problem, we'd

have it solved.

But that's not our only problem.

"The problem … is us.

It's our whole way of life.

It's our comfort … It's the greed.

It's the indulgence.

It's the pattern.

And it's the inertia."

Brown, who arrived Friday for nearly two weeks of climate talks across Europe, said the path

to transformational change must include the mass mobilization of the religious and theological

sphere, but also the prophetic sphere…

"At the highest circles, people still don't get it," he said.

"It's not just a light rinse" that's required.

"We need a total, I might say 'brain washing.'

"We need to wash our brains out and see a very different kind of world."
