7 Things NO MAN Should Wear in Fall/Winter - Duration: 4:27.

What's up you guys? It's Jose Zuniga from Teaching Men's Fashion, and for today's

video we're gonna be talking about seven items no man should wear in the fall and

winter. The first thing guys shouldn't be wearing in the fall winter are no-show

socks, man ankles are a great thing in the summer but are completely

counterintuitive and fall and winter. You're trying to insulate heat so this

is the perfect season to bundle up and show off some of your sock game and

improve your style a bit. Number two, color for patterns and florals. I love my

Hawaiian shirts as much as the next guy but they are completely summer inspired

and just will come out of place in the fall and winter season. A great

replacement print for this, plaid. Plaid, you'll find it in your suits and your

flannels this always has been a prominent print for fall and winter

and a much better alternative. Number three are sneakers. Now there are a great

addition to any stylish wardrobe and a must but if you want them to last a long

time, you don't want to be putting your prime knits

or your canvas through snow or rain.

They will deteriorate quicker and completely expel all your body heat and

make you colder. Now to be fair there are winter* enhanced or revamped type of

style of sneakers that I covered in this video for five fall footwear essential.

But hands-down the best options will always be a good sturdy pair of boots,

and our sponsor Thursday Boots has you covered. They don't call this boot season

for no reason, boots are specifically created for the

fall and winter. The high ankle design is perfect for insulating heat, the thicker

leather will not only keep them warm but protect your feet from the exterior

weather from the rain, from the snow, and also it'll make sure you keep your nice

sneakers and dress shoes intact and won't get ruined.

Boots are usually built a lot more sturdier that you can beat them around

and they'll still look good, whereas, your regular shoe not so much. Honestly if you

don't have a pair of Thursday Boots already I don't know what else to tell

you to convince you, of how amazing these boots are. The thing is that I've traveled

with these in the snow time and since they have a rubberized sole when it's

icy outside I'm fine I'm not slipping, whereas other people they're easily

slipping around, especially on an icy sidewalk. With a good pair of sturdy

boots you don't have that problem. But the amazing thing with Thursday Boots is

that you're not buying some ugly hiking boot or something that's completely

unstylish. You get all the functional features of a

boot that you should be wearing for fall and winter

in a well-thought-out stylish package. Something that you can rock with your

outfits to make sure they still look stylish and you don't forfeit on style

during the colder months. Now if I'm gonna make you guys a personal

recommendation go with the suede Chelsea Boots, I've talked about them before.

Not only are they the most comfortable boots to walk around all day, they're the most stylish.

Now they're trending right now and given that their suede you get that

extra added style bonus. But these are not your regular suede, they're a weather

safe suede, so you don't have to worry about them getting wet, getting ruined,

making you cold, they're completely protected against the

harsh weathers to keep you warm and dry. If you guys want to check out Thursday Boots

our sponsor, I'm going to have them linked below definitely check out their

whole range of by now you must own at least one pair. The fourth thing no man

should wear in fall and winter are lightweight fabrics, such as linen. These

fabrics are specifically crafted for summer for a reason, the lightweight

thread and open weave design are intended to expel heat from the body and

keep you cool. This is the exact thing you want to avoid during fall in winter,

you want to insulate as much heat as possible. And the fabrics to do that are

the ones that are very closely knit and thicker, such as your tweed, your flannel,

your heavy wool, these are the ones you should be investing in for fall and winter.

Number five is a t-shirt. This was pretty much common sense but you will

always catch that guy that's trying to play tough and act as if it's not really

that cold, it is. Throw on a coat or at least a sweater. And to go along with

that, the sixth thing you never want to wear is shorts, even when you're going to

the gym. Why go through the pain of having to suffer through a cold winter

when you can wear something just as stylish as sweatpants or joggers, keep

you warm and still perform athletically. And finally number seven are those boots

with fur trimming. Now this one might not be a spare because it's it's kind of

just a personal pet peeve of mine. But rocking boots with fur rims on it is a

definite no-no for fall and winter. Sure that around your neck on a coat or

around gloves you look like a baller, around your boots not so much. And that's

basically it guys. Does are 7 things you never want to wear in fall and

winter. If you guys like this video and found it informative don't forget to

drop us a like down below. Also don't forget to check out our sponsor,

Thursday Boots, they're gonna be linked down below as well.

That's it for me today, see you next!

Of Course, Gabrielle Union Steals Clothes from Her "Fashion Warlock"-Husband Dwyane Wade - Duration: 9:02.

Of Course, Gabrielle Union Steals Clothes from Her "Fashion Warlock"-Husband Dwyane Wade

The first rule of journalism may be dont make friends with the rock stars, but Gabrielle Union makes it damn hard to stay objective.

And by the end of our interview, Im torn between begging to be her friend and asking if I can borrow her kimono.

Luckily, said kimono is available at New York & Company for $130. She designed it, along with 35 other pieces created for modern, working women, and theyre all available online and in stores.

(Our pick: this $90 blazing pink blazer that fits right in with Tom Fords latest catwalk hit.).  As for the friends thing. well. lets take it one step at a time, and get through the interview first.

Theres a mob of fans outside waiting to see you. Youre like the Harry Styles of the Upper East Side. Except I'm more of a Zayn girl. That's on the record. There's only one direction and it's Zayn's direction.

This collection has lots of workwear. But your career isnt in an office. How did you decide what styles should be included?.

Luckily, the character I play the most is Mary Jane Paul, and she's known for her wardrobe. In six seasons, I've learned the ins and outs on material, cut, shape, and what's most flattering for a long-ass work day.

And thats the thinner scuba material that functions as a kinder version of Spanx. It's a light Spanx-ish kind of material.  I usually make someone buy me dinner before I let him lightly Spank-ish me.

You're my kind of girl. But yeah, anything that sucks you in and holds you up for hours and hours? That's what I want in a work dress, or a party dress, or an outfit that needs to take me to both.

So that's what we tried to do here, and honestly, thats what Mary Jane would try to do, too. Is it too much if Mary Jane wears mary janes, or is that cool?.

No, she cant wear Mary Janes. Its just too much. It's also too much if Mary Jane smokes mary jane, and a lot of people tuned in because they thought it was Weeds Part Deux. Its not a show about pot, sorry.

Its better! Its a show about a TV host. And she wants Barack and Michelle as guests. So, is that happening?.

You have to tune in next week to find out if MO and BO actually show up. It's a whole plot point next week, so you'll see.

Theres also a character similar to Tomi Lahren, who tweeted about it. Would you ever invite her to be a guest?.

Mary Jane would love to have Tomi Lahren on the show! But they hired a fake version of her named Dani. And I don't know which one is worse, Tomi or Dani.

Although Dani shows some growth and compassion, whereas so far with Tomi Lahren, there's been no evolution. Maybe that's what she's waiting to do on Fox News.

Perhaps she'll come out and admit, all of a sudden, that she's a Bernie Bro. We just don't know. But also, the real Tomi is so young. There's time for her to grow.

Its clear Mary Jane influenced this collection a lot. What about your husband, Dwyane Wade? Is he in here, too?.

The ming blue, the yellow, the kimono—we spend two weeks every year in Asia, and you see bits of our travels in the collection for sure. Youve said he has his own shoe vault.

True. The Vault is real. Whats your advice for women with partners who are way more into style? Because youre a fashion maven, but how can you compete with a shoe museum?.

I'm a fashion maven, but he's like a fashion warlock. So if that's your relationship, you draw inspiration from your partner.

There's times, and by times I mean two days ago, where I go into his closet and I wear his stuff. I took a denim robe [Visvim] and I did multiple Snapchat stories in it.

He was like, "Are you wearing my clothes?" Yes, D. New York & Co is a classic mall store. What is your favorite mall food?.

Oh, Auntie Annie's! It's at the gate when I get off in the Delta terminal in Miami. I try to find it and I can't. They have cinnamon and sugar pretzels. You didn't know that, did you? Yeah.

They also have nacho dipping sauce. I fall prey to it every time.   You were in Bring It On, Shes All That, and 10 Things I Hate About You. Which was the best experience for you?.

10 Things because it was my first movie that I ever did! And it was a lot of people's first movies, and a lot of people's first big thing.

We were all paid the same on that movie, and we all shared trailers. I had a double banger with Julia [Stiles] or Susan May Pratt, I cant remember which.

And we all ate together; we spent every day together. I thought all movies were like that—where everyone's friends, you all get paid the same, and you all go home after ten or twelve hours. No.

Youve admitted that youre hyper-competitive at the gym. Is that healthy, or can it go too far?.

I think Ive got it under control, because I'm competing with everyone, but it's okay because they're not aware. I can't shut that impulse off. And I'm glad, because that impulse keeps me on the treadmill.

If I didn't have it, I would be like, "Great! Ten minutes! I'm good." But if I'm competing, I can see what level someone's on and I can top it.

If Im on the treadmill next to you, youre looking at my dashboard?. I'm looking at your levels. I'm looking at your heart rate. If you're holding onto the rails I want to see. I'm looking at your outfit, and your form.

And it makes me feel like I'm having my own Olympics, where I'm always the USA and the other person, they're usually Russia. The goal in my head is for everyone to root for me.

I like to think I'm the Mary Lou Retton of Equinox, going for gold and winning.

What ELLE's Fashion Editors Are Wearing to NYFW - Duration: 2:41.

What ELLE's Fashion Editors Are Wearing to NYFW

How does one conquer dressing for seven non-stop days of appointments, runway shows, and a party or two? We asked our staff to dish on their NYFW style, and their practical tastes might surprise you.

Read on to see what they plan to wear wear for one of the industrys busiest weeks. "Im excited to try the no-brainer suiting trend with my favorite sneakers this week. Its a look that is equal parts polished and comfortable.

Ill most likely wear a variation on the same jewelry everyday: hoop earrings and a few colorful studs." —Nikki Ogunnaike, ELLE.com Fashion Features Director.

I am looking forward to embracing the raw denim trend and going full-on denim on denim. I love the idea of layering a turtleneck underneath and button down, adding warmth for this early Fall weather.

As for accessories, an easy red bag adds a pop of color and plays well off the denim, and simple minimalist jewelry is always my go-to." —Jade Frampton, Executive Market Editor.

This fashion week (/in my life, always) I am all about being comfortable.

This Veronica Beard dress is hands down the best purchase I've made this season: it's a throw-it-on-and-think-about-nothing outfit—except how much I love the dress when people compliment me on it (hiCaitriona Balfe!).

I'm also sticking to white sneaks whenever I can this week, but will keep these absolutely perfect Valentino Mary Janes in my bag (along with my computer, which joins me everywhere) for any emergency fancy moments. —Sally Holmes, ELLE.com Executive Editor.
