Hello My Friends and welcome

My name is Jay and today's build Is a medieval rustic styled church which was a request by several people

We made It a moderate sized church and added It to the medieval village we are building with you here on the channel

Today we'll handle the build itself and this Friday we'll add the entire interior to it

But let's get into building this medieval church

Now first things first. If you are building the entire village, you want to start 14 blocks away

from that wooden pathway in the back of the market place

That's where we'll start with the dark oak slabs for the stairs to the church

The plot of land We'll be using, so the grass area Is 33 by 40 blocks.

The build itself however is 29 By 36

We'll start in the front center and this is the slab that Is 14 blocks away from that wooden pathway from your market place

Now once you placed that, you can place 2 slabs like this and 5 full blocks behind it in this pattern

Then you want to add 3 4-block high pillars in stone brick and then we'll start with our cobblestone

Just follow what I do on screen and leave a gap where I leave a gap, go diagonal where I go diagonal and you should be fine

I won't be speeding up one side of the build. That way you can easily follow it

Its every time a 1 block gap except for here you'll have 3 block gaps because we'll have 3 windows on this part

So 3 block gap here

And then here a 3 block gap. And after that its 1 block gaps and diagonals again

And then you want to repeat that pattern on the opposite side of the church

Its the exact same pattern but flipped... Mirrored, so you shouldn't have much trouble

If you are in doubt, pause the video and have a look at the other side and just mirror the entire thing so you have this result

Then you want to add 2 more blocks here and on this side as well because these will be the towers. These towers.

Then you want to add 2 cobblestone walls on each of the blocks around the entire outline we just placed

Also on these circular patterns for the towers.

Then on top of the cobblestone walls you want to place a full block of cobblestone and again repeat that around the entire build

With that done we can change to spruce wood.

And now we want to place a pillar behind every block with walls.

I'll do it slow on one side again, that way you can follow it easily and then again you want to repeat it on the other side in mirror

Here in that circle its just two pillars in each corner so i'll speed that part up a little bit

And then here you want to add 3 more pillars

But yeah, just follow those blocks with the walls and you should be fine.

Leave the gaps where there are gaps like here for the windows

3 block gap here

Then here we have 2 times a 1 block gap

And then 1 more gap in the back as well and then there you'll have another window

And now repeat it on this side again to have this result

Then with white concrete we'll fill up the remaining gaps basically

So here in the front, where the stone brick part is, you want to place 2 pillars in the corners

Then that gap here, you just want to fill that up in a square in white concrete blocks as well

Then every time where you see a 1 block gap you want to place a pillar

Except for where the windows are. So here we'll just place a square like this

With a pillar behind it to fill up that gap. In that gap its just a square

And then here again a square with a pillar

Then there's a few more gaps in the back you have to fill up with 1 pillar

And that big gap in the back, that's 2 windows next to each other. So this shape.

And then again repeat that on the other side in mirror

Now with that done. In these gaps here, we want to place a glowstone in the ground, a slab at the bottom

Then a slab at the top and fill up those gaps with spruce fence

And again we'll repeat that in every gap where there is only 1 row of concrete

So that's basically what you have to look at and just repeat that in every gap like that

If its a 3 block gap, that's for a window, so you don't have to bother with that for now

Again i'll do 1 side and then skip the other side because its the exact same thing

And then this is your end result for this part

Now, next...

We'll do the roof shape so replace those slabs on the sides and place stairs in there

And then you just want to go up with stairs and upside down stairs until both sides meet up in the middle

And at the top we'll use that same little shape we used on the windmill

That way it all matches together when we place the windmill in as well

At the top of these doors we want to place a slab in the corners with a stair underneath

And then we'll go up half slab each time with full blocks

Then we'll place doors in but break that middle pillar otherwise they'll point in the wrong direction

Okay, lets do the spruce wood first. So we want to place 3 blocks here and 3 blocks on this side

And then we'll remove those 2 corner blocks because you see half of those blocks in the front

and we'll place crossbeams like this

Then add 2 more pillars in the center with a 1 block gap as well

Now at the top we'll want a cross but lets fill up those side gaps first with spruce fence

so just place 2 fences...actually no, place 3 fences so one more at the top there. You'll have to point a little bit but yeah

And now here at the top we want to place a cross pattern so we'll remove this stair and this stair and place a normal stair there

Underneath that we'll place 2 upside down stairs pointing inwards

and then at the bottom of that we'll add 2 slabs and that will give you a cross pattern

Now you will want to replace that top stair with a slab as well

Then...

In the back we'll fill that up with red stained glass. Well, I am using red stained glass but if you want to use another color, by all means, go for it

But yeah, I just love red and black so I always use 1 of those colors or a combination of the 2

Let me just place a row of stairs on top so that connects

And then we'll fill up that 1 gap in the front with cobblestone and cover up the back with white concrete

And then here 1 more block of cobblestone in that gap there

Now for the roof itself. In the front here what we'll do is

3 rows of spruce wood, then a row of cobblestone

Then again 3 rows of spruce wood and a row of cobblestone

And 1 more time 3 rows of spruce wood and a row of cobblestone. That"s for the front

And now we just have to fill that up all the way to the top of the roof

And then repeat it on this side as well of course

Now in that middle gap at the top, we'll add a crossbeam in spruce wood

And then at the end we want to have that shape again with the upside down stair, normal stair and then a slab at the top

Now where those rows of cobblestone are, place a full block and then add slabs in between

And then we can do the back, and that's slightly different here

We'll place 3 upside down stairs and then full blocks in between

After that you just want to do the same thing with the roof. Its the same size so you'll end up at the same height

So again replace those slabs on the sides with stairs and then go up with stairs and upside down stairs until they meet up in the middle

And at the top you want to do that little shape again with the slab on top

Now to fill up this part. Its actually the same as in the front

So again we'll add a cross at the top by removing those 2 stairs

These ones? Yeah, these 2

then again replace that with a slab and then 2 upside down stairs pointing inwards underneath that

And then 2 slabs at the bottom

Then again with spruce wood, 3 blocks in the corners

And 2 more rows in the center

Fill up the top bit with stained glass, the bottom with cobblestone and then the sides with fence

Oh, let me just place that row of spruce...

Well, on this side its basically 3 rows of spruce and 1 row of cobblestone and then just fill it up to the middle bit at the top

So we won't go further in the back here. Then we can place those fences in and again covering all that up with white concrete blocks

And again, we'll do the inside on Friday so don't worry about how it looks right now

At the top we want to again add some spruce wood, a full block and some slabs in between

And that's the backside done.

Then next, back in the front, we'll add 2 slabs on these 2 pillars.

And then we'll extend these pillars 5 blocks. So this one...

And then this one on the corner

Against those blocks we want to place 2 stairs and 1 upside down. We'll do the same on the other pillar on the outside

And then again we want to connect these 2 by using normal and upside down stairs until they meet up in the middle

And that will give us the shape for the main roof

Then we have to repeat this whole thing in the back as well so again we'll add 2 slabs on those 2 pillars

Extend this pillar 5 blocks and then the one on the other corner

Add 3 stairs. So 2 and one upside down

Do the same on the other side and then connect them so they form that triangle for the main roof

When you did that, you want to connect them at the top with a crossbeam in spruce wood going all the way across from one to the other side

And then we'll add 5 rows of spruce, gap, 5 rows of spruce, gap and 5 rows of spruce

In those gaps you can place cobblestone

And that's the pattern we'll use for the main roof and we'll bring that all the way down to that bottom row of stairs here

So just fill up that entire roof and then of course also do it on the other side here

At the top where the cobblestone is, a full block, and then fill up the gaps with slabs once again

And now we can fill up those empty gaps between the lower and higher roof

We'll do that by placing a pillar 1 block away from that outer pillar and bring it down to where the roof is

Just to the bottom of those stairs and then 1 more next to that again with 1 block gap

And we'll do the same on the back and the front sides on both sides of that gap

In between we want to have a cross and we'll use stone brick for this and just follow the pattern of the roof here

Fill up to the top of the roof and then we'll build that cross pattern

So in the center we'll leave 2 blocks open

Then we'll come out one block and then in one block like this and then just fill it up at the top

And then you can fill up that gap with the stained glass color you used for the crosses at the bottom of the build

And now we'll just repeat that whole thing in the back as well

And with that done we want to fill up those gaps here between the pillars with spruce fence

and place a crossbeam on the height of where the cobblestone edge is of the roof

And repeat that on all sides. Now here in this corner you want to place a corner stair to close off that gap

So just place 2 stairs like this and then one against it and you'll have a nice little corner to close that off

For the rest its just that crossbeam and filling it up with fence

After that you want to cover up all the fence on the inside and also that cross at the top with white concrete blocks

And then that's your result for now

Now the sides of the build. And remember, both sides are the same so you can build them together

or you can build this side with me and then do the other side again by scrolling back in the video

But yeah, we'll start off with a pillar, so just extend that pillar and fill that up with stone brick on both sides

Then against that pillar you want to place 2 stone bricks and leave a 1 block gap each time.

And you should end up against that pillar. Then fill up the gaps with spruce wood again.

And underneath that we'll place a crossbeam going from one side to the other

Against each of those spruce blocks at the top we'll place a cobblestone wall

And then under the first 2 and the last 2 we want to place a cobblestone slab as well, but only those 4

Now next to that second slab we'll start with the roof with a full block and we'll come down a half slab each time

and then you should end up on that one block on the corner here. Just add a stair against that to finish that row off

And then repeat that on this side as well

For the windows we'll place 2 stairs at the top with a full block in between

2 slabs underneath those stairs, 2 upside down stairs at the bottom

and then a grass block with a trapdoor and some flowers on top

And then just repeat that on those 2 remaining windows on this side

And again, you can build the other side of the build at the same time, that's really your choice

Then to fill up the roof. In the center, above that flowerpot there, we'll place cobblestone and then te rest, we'll fill that up with spruce wood planks

and just follow that pattern from the side with full blocks each time and fill up that entire roof.

Then the only thing we need to do now is fill up those side gaps. Let me get to the inside, that will make it a little easier to work with

So we'll start with placing 2 slabs on this one and this one here

And then we'll fill up the sides with spruce wood sideways. So we'll have to break that slab

bring it out and then break that top slab again and bring it out to the same length

And here we will do the exact same thing, oh, I need to place 2 more there

Then fill up those 2 gaps with stone brick

And next to that we'll add a pillar going from the ground to that crossbeam at the top

Here, and then here again

And after that you just have to repeat the whole thing on the right side of the build to get this result

And now for the towers. We'll start off with a full block on each of those wooden pillars

Then place 2 walls on top of each of those blocks

And then on top of each of those walls we want to place a full block of cobblestone

Then in between those gaps we'll add 2 slabs, except for the side of the roof, there its only going to be one slab

And then behind those slabs we want to place a full block of stone brick

In the corners we'll add 4 pillars to the top of those cobblestone blocks

And then at the top we'll add 4 more stone brick blocks

Then you can fill up those gaps with windows

I'm using black here but you can use any color you want of course

Then at the top of those full blocks above the windows we'll add slabs

And on top of those slabs we'll add 4 spruce fences

Then we'll add a square like this and on top of the fences we'll add a full block of cobblestone

And then we'll go down a half slab on both sides of that full block

So one more time here

Just like that and then 2 more times

Now here we want to place 4 pillars, 4 blocks high in a cross pattern like this and then the corners, we'll add 4 cobblestone wall

Then at the top of the cobblestone wall we'll add a slab, full block in the middle and slab

A wall underneath and another slab. So one more time

slab, slab, full block, wall and slab

And then 2 more times

Then add 4 more stairs in the center of those parts

And 4 more full blocks on top of those walls

And then we can build the roof in spruce wood

We'll start with full blocks on each of those corners

Then we'll add stairs on top of those pointing inwards

and in between those gaps we'll add 2 full blocks

On top of those full blocks, add another stair

And then in the corners on top of the cobblestone, we want to add 2 full blocks as well

Then in between, 3 full blocks starting behind that stair

On top of these we'll add 4 more stairs and then we'll come out a full block at the top.

Now for the cross. We'll do that with cobblestone wall

So 5 walls like that. And then you can replace that middle wall with either cobblestone or stone brick

On that one I used cobblestone, here I used stone brick

Then we'll add 2 more walls here and here with fences on top

And then at the bottom of the roof here we'll add 2 more walls and bring fences down

And then just repeat that on the backside of the tower as well

And then all you need to do is copy this entire tower to the other side of the church to finish off the outside of the church

This Friday we will be adding the interior and further detailing on this medieval rustic church

So mark that in your agenda

I hope you like the church so far. If you do, give it a like and share it with your friends.

now let me give you a little simple

formula for goal-setting okay we take

two two-and-a-half hours on the weekend

for the whole ten-year plan we don't

have time for that tonight but let me

get you started with a little simple

formula mr. shelf gave me and maybe this

will be helpful first of all I've

divided goals into two parts first is

long range long range goals that's your

dreams your dreams for the next 3 5 10

20 30 40 years actually the rest of your

life your dream you've got to keep

dreaming Ronald Reagan president said to

the joint session of Congress a few

weeks ago the Republic is a dream and if

we don't keep dreaming we will lose the

Republic your better future is a dream

for yourself and for your family where

do you want to go what do you want to do

what do you want to be what do you want

to see you've got to dream dream there's

a Bible phrase that says without dreams

and vision people perish you've got to

have something to go for that inspires

the hearts and the soul

dream from the children of Sanchez it

says take the crumbs from starving

soldiers they won't die take the bread

from hungry children they will cry but

without dreams we all will die

you've got the dream

don't lose your dream for yourself for

your futures for your parent Lee the

dreams of love and enterprise travel and

doing things becoming something unique

on your journey here

don't lose your dream do some dreaming

that's a long-range goal you've got to

have those

well that's number one here's the second

part of gold'

short-range short-range goal that's your

goals for tomorrow this week this month

this year the immediate future

we call these confidence builders

because we set up something short-range

go for it yet it lacks latch onto it

work hard accomplish it

that starts building your strong

feelings to go for your dream

[Music]

now I divided goals into three

categories here they are number one is

economic that's your goal for money

income business profits production

economic make sure you've got your

economic dwell plan economic plays a

major role in everybody's life economics

is major which means it ought to be

meticulously well planned for tomorrow

this week this month this year long

range what if you ask somebody tomorrow

if you can see their meticulously well

planned list of economic know what were

they probably say it's say you some kind

of a nut you must be weird hey I found

out what success is success is doing

what the failures won't do make sure

you've got your economics well planned

it'll put you in the top 5% one of the

key little subjects we talk about on the

weekend is the seven fundamentals for

wealth and happiness and that's one of

them well-planned economics it's a

fundamental if you want to do well join

the top 5% anybody in this room can join

the top 5% if you will okay now here's

the second category of gold things make

a list of the things you want and on my

list of things now I put everything

little things as well as major things it

doesn't matter how small it is it goes

on my list I used to just put major

things cars home I don't do that anymore

I now load my list of everything

everything

and the reason is part of the fun of

having a list is checking it off that

says boy at the end of the day if you

can go got it got it got it got it got

it got it whatever it is right you get

into the habit so load up your list the

things you want now when you check off

something major celebrate that's an

important point to make celebrate your

achievements live it up have a part when

you reach something you've worked for

for a while see we all grow from two

experiences one is called the pain of

losing the other one is called the joy

of winning we need both of them amplify

them as much as you can which also means

make losing painful if you set up

something fools around didn't get it put

it on your cell on the other side if you

did get it

congratulate yourself self

congratulations is a sign of maturity

seeking congratulation is a sign of

immaturity

but hey winning and losing see that's

what it's all about that's the name of

the game now some people leave such

mediocre lives at the end of the day

they don't know whether they're winning

or losing they got no clue guys just

going through the day with his fingers

grow

there's a better way okay here's the

third category of goals personal

development with those goals together

personal development goals that's your

goal is to be stronger more decisive via

speaker be a leader learn a language all

kinds of skill the whole weekend seminar

was designed to improve all your skills

so that you walk away more skillful and

that's what you want the personal

development skill that's what a track

that's what brings good things to your

life the person you've become more

skillful now this is quite a package to

work on economic things personal

development for tomorrow this week this

one's this year-long ring okay that'll

get you started now here's the simple

formula for setting goal it goes like

this a work on your goal

that's step one work on them and I put

the word work there deliberately setting

goals just plain hard work I don't want

to kid you where he haven't come here

tonight the kid each other it's work I

know it's work that's why a lot of

people just let it slide it's work many

people work hard on their job but they

don't work hard on their future they

just let that fly and the work involved

is making plans I know most people don't

I understand that but don't let that be

you guy says well yeah you work where I

work but the time you struggle home is

play you copy to bite of supper watch a

little TV get to bed you can't sit up

half the night plan plan plan and the

guys good worker

hard workers in here but you've got to

be better than sincere working hard

you've got to be better than a good

worker you got to be a good planner

somebody once wisely said the people who

fail to plan are planning to say well

sit so work on your goals here step 2

write your goals down that's so

important I teach my staff around the

world

put your goals in your journal

[Music]

because one of the major people you want

to study is yourself so here's a list of

goals I'd put together three weeks ago

here's the list of goals I've put

together two years ago here are some of

the changes I made rearrange me of my

priority I scratched these off I put

these on I've gotten these study your

accomplishments study what your desires

are put them on paper write them down

here's another reason for writing your

goals there it shows you're serious

about doing better and to do better you

got to get serious you don't have to be

grim but you must be serious everybody

hopes things will get better everybody

holds poor people hope that ought to

tell you something it means the future

does not get better by hope it gets

entered by plan I used to have the

affliction called passive hope it's an

affliction it's bad

probably what's even worse than that is

happy hope now that is really bad that's

bad

happy hope the guy 50 and he's broke and

he still smile he's s not good

so get serious about your goals put them

on paper write him down there's all

kinds his goals her gold their gold

business goals financial goals financial

independence gold family goals I mean

there's so many things to work on on it

but if you don't get busy and work on a

cheering up the time will bat and here

are not five years from now you'll wind

up where you don't want to be where and

what you don't want the we're driving

what you don't want to drive being what

you don't want to be now is the time to

fix it now here's the third step to your

goals check the size of your goal and

the kinds of gold how big they are

what kind they are affects you and

here's one of the important phrases of

the evening your goals are affecting you

whatever they are your goals affect your

handshake your goal to fit your attitude

personality your goals affect the way

you want the way you talk the way you

dress all day long we're being affected

by our goals now some people have goals

but they have such lousy gold the effect

is there I asked a guy one time what are

your goals for this month

the guy said look if I could just scrape

up enough money to pay these lousy bills

that was your goal I'm not saying it

isn't a goal it's a goal but it's meant

to allow the goal the effective bit

[Music]

you don't jump out of bed on Monday

morning and say old boy another chance

to go out and scrape up the money to pay

my lousy bill so you don't do that

usually you say oh not another Monday

[Music]

and some people have so given up on life

they have joined the thank God it's

Friday plus how sad surely those are the

same people when life is over to them

we'll say thank God

oh but I think that's good advice don't

be a follower be a student right take

advice but not orders take information

but don't let somebody you know order

your life make sure what you do is the

product of your own conclusion

excellence nope

make sure what you do is the product of

your own conclusion not to do what

someone else said take what someone else

says processes think about it ponder it

it makes you wonder it makes you think

and it's valuable then when you go take

action make sure that the action not

what somebody told you to do make sure

the action is the product of your own

conclude you'll follow just little bit

of those simple guidelines telling you

the learning process can be speedy swift

powerful your learning curve can go up

and then applying it to your business

your life your family conversations

equities of all kinds you'll find some

progress like I did that first five

years when I met a teacher willing to

share with me turn my life around

progress I couldn't believe happened for

me okay

let's get started I want to review I was

here last time we talked about the five

major pieces to the life puzzle and I

just want to review those because it

lays such a good foundation for all the

risk that I want to share with you today

we got a lot of subjects to cover so

we're going to go rather swiftly okay

put on your mental track shoes here and

run with me today because I'm going to

deal mostly in concepts expect you to

you know fill in a lot of the details

because I got a lot to share I want to

get through it all

but let's lay this foundation again of

the five major piece happens to be the

title of my latest book but I think it

is so valuable in laying a foundation

it's some of the things I learned

between ages 25 and third the teacher

who taught me taught me so well he dealt

in these fundamentals we call these

fundamentals we call these safety basics

for sport fundamentals for sports

fundamentals for your business

fundamentals for the way you deal with

your family few simple things a few

basic things that if you practice every

day can make all the difference in the

world how it works out I've loaded it

down to five major pieces to the life

puzzle let's just review them number one

it's philosophy philosophy philosophy as

I taught the last time I was here

philosophy and my personal opinion is

the major determining factor in how your

life works that philosophy the major

determining factor in how your life

works out philosophy to form our

philosophy you got to think you've got

to use your mind got a process ideas and

this whole process over a lifetime

starting way back here when we were

children schools that we've attended our

parents our experiences all this stuff

that we've processed by the thinking

process helps to develop our philosophy

and in my opinion each person's personal

philosophy is the major factor in how

your life works out here's what I called

it in that last presentation when I was

here it's called the set of the sail

each person's personal philosophy is

like the set of the sail now I used to

think of a circumstances that ordered my

life

if someone would have asked me at age 25

mr. Owen how come you're not doing well

pennies in your pocket creditors calling

nothing in the bank behind on your

promises to your family you live in

America

25 years old got a beautiful family

every reason to do well and things are

not going that well for you what is

wrong here it would not have occurred to

me to blame my philosophy I mean it

would not have occurred to me then when

I got this lousy philosophy and that's

how come I got pennies in my pocket and

nothing in the bank things aren't

working well that would not have

occurred to me I found it much easier to

blame the government much easier to

blame the tax Club I used to say taxes

or to ah top tax rate when I first

started paying back ninety-one percent

back then when your income reached a

certain level all your income over that

ninety-one percent

so I used to say that's dude all right

now it's attack top tax rates about 33

percent but people are still saying what

taxes are to see if you can't use that

anymore if it's gone from 91 to 33 how

could it be too high

come on I threw all that old icky stuff

away some people found it though there's

businesses

my old lip I used to blame the traffic

whether you blame circumstances all

right people

Paul I'm too short too old I was raised

in the security raised on a farm parents

and mothers means all this stop if you

would ask me how come you find yourself

here with drone age 25 living in America

land of abundance and opportunity

pennies zero in the bank not doing well

creditors calling it would not have

occurred to me to blame my philosophy I

found it easier to blame the company

company policy

I used to say if this is all they pay

how do they expect you to do with so I

figured that you know my future was

going to be tied to what everybody else

was arranging the economy and right

interest rates

I used to say things cost too but that

was my whole explanation not my

philosophy until my teacher taught me

better that this is where the problem

was my own personal philosophy here's

what's exciting about each person's

personal philosophy that's what makes us

different than dogs and animals birds

and cats and spiders and alligators

that's what makes us different than all

of the life form the ability to think

the ability to use your mind the ability

to process ideas and not just operate by

instinct in the winter I'm telling you

the goose can only fly south

what about doesn't look too good tough

luck it can only fly cell but the human

beings are not like the goose and only

fly south I mean you could turn around

go north you can go e you can go where

you can order the entire process of your

own life and we do that by the way we

think we do that by exercising their

mind we do that by processing ideas and

come up with a better philosophy a

better strategy for our lives goals for

the future okay plans to achieve those

goals all this comes from developing our

philosophy philosophy helps us to

process what's available well when we

get here we got seed and we got the soil

and we got some rain and we've got

somewhat sunshine and we've got some

seasons and what the miracle of life now

the key is what do you do with all this

stuff

how do you turn all this stuff that's

available here into equity and promise

and lifestyle and dreams and future

possibilities all of this that's

possible now with you Nadine how do you

take all this stuff and turn it into

this equity value you don't need bitter

seed and soil in fact when it comes to

seed and soil and rain and sunshine and

seasons in the miracle of life that's

all you got now what if you blame this

stuff then you're blaming all you got if

you blame the economy and you're playing

the schools and you blame the teachers

and you blame the sermons and the

preachers and you blame you know the

marketplace you blame the company and

company policy what else is there when

some people get through it they're

blameless there is nothing else that's

all there is and if you blame the only

thing you've got to work with I'm

telling you it's called

mistake colossal

in not understanding that that's all

you've got to work with and if this is

all you've got to work with then you

don't change the seed and you don't

change the soil and you don't change the

rain and you don't change the sunshine

you don't change the seasons right guy

says I'll take three Springs four

summers nine Falls no winters no you

can't fool with this stuff you got to

take it like it come then what do you

change to make your life work well you

got to start with your philosophy guess

what I had to do at age 25 in order to

change my own future I had to change my

mind I had to change my thinking I had

to change my philosophy I was messed up

on what was causing my problem and once

I got that straightened out that all the

stuff I blame the government and taxes

the marketplace the economy and things

got too much negative relative cynical

neighbors once I got rid of that and

started going for where the real problem

was which was me I'm telling you my life

exploded into change my bank account

changed immediately my income changed

immediately my whole life took on a

whole new look in color immediately and

the early results I got from making

these philosophical changes tasted so

good I've never stopped the process from

that days of it I'm killing you with a

little consideration of the refinement

of your sale by setting a better sale

refining your philosophy your whole life

into art you came from today on you

don't have to wait till tomorrow you

don't have to wait on next month you

don't have to wait till spring don't

have to wait till 93 and start this

whole process immediately I recommend it

some people do so little thinking they

don't even have their sail up I mean you

can imagine where they're going to wind

up at the end of this week at the end of

this month at the end of this year now

is the chance to change process all this

information

number one is velocity okay and we dealt

with all that where we get ideas from

personal experience from other people's

experiences I don't wanna get into all

those details because we covered that

the last time I was here but philosophy

that's number one my first looking each

person's personal philosophy here's the

definition of success and failure just

make this note the eros failure a few

errors in judgment repeated

every day now you can automatically

assume that drone I say I can admit that

a few errors in judgment repeated every

day for six years and with my father I

think I told a story the last time I was

here my father 88 years old he's never

been ill y'all haven't retired not long

ago midnight we're getting ready to go

to bed able to do well that's water more

acres gone he's all excited at midnight

we can ready to go to bed my father's

eating what he called his midnight snack

little bite eat before you go to bed

don't have to go to bed hungry and I'm

watching him eat this midnight snack

guess what he had an apple you graham

crackers and a glass of grapefruit juice

I said no wonder my father's so healthy

my mom taught us all those good health

practice taught me when I'm growing up

I'm an only child I've never been here

that's the big 5o some time ago my two

daughters 3233 never been in my

grandkids never been in telling you the

legacy lingers on as I watch my father

have this midnight snack suddenly

occurred to me know that part an apple

what a day that's gotten to dallas-fort

worth right an apple an apple a day

keeps the doctor away good question for

this intelligent on what if that's true

you table mr. Owen if that's true that

would be easy to do then what's the

problem it's easy not to do it's easy

not to adopt it as your own personal

philosophy or the guy messed up to say

guys it's a Hershey bar today

say no no you've been watching too much

television

it is not Hershey bar you've got to be

smarter in philosophy than to fall for

the Hershey bar a day when it's an apple

adieu

you've got to be smarter than them and

if you make that kind of an error in

judgment every day for six years I'm

telling you it'll accumulate into

disaster sometimes here you say well you

know I'm still healthy now what

difference is it going to make you got

to be smarter than that

just because disaster doesn't fall on us

at the end of the first day doesn't mean

disaster isn't coming you've got to be

so smart that you look down the road and

say will the errors in my present

judgment of philosophy what's that going

to cost me in one year six years one

month six month I'm telling you the

money cost and the health cost and the

success cost is two gigantic if you look

down the road a little ways and say are

there errors in my current judgment like

an Apple versus the Hershey bar is that

just a good illustration of some of the

rest of my errors in judgment if it is

that's where I found myself at age 25 I

started working when I was 19 I met my

teacher who helped turn my life around

when I was 25 that's six years at the

end of the first six years of my

economic life I've got pennies in my

pocket

I've got nothing in the bank the

creditors are calling saying hey you

told us to check was in the mail I'm

embarrassed I'm behind on my promise I

live in America

I'm 25 year old American male I got a

nice family every reason to do well and

I messed up now what's messed up I used

to think it was the community that was

messed up and the country was messed up

and the government was messed up if

those Democrats ever get in the White

House that'll really mess things up the

Republicans stay in power that'll really

mess things up the economy was messed up

interest rates are messed up I thought

all this stuff was messed up then I

found out that's not what was messed up

I was criticizing the only thing I had

to work with what was really messed up

with my own personal philosophy my own

errors in judgment in my own personal

philosophy brought me in six years two

pennies in my pocket nothing in the bank

and trying to explain why I wasn't doing

well living in America 25 year-old

American made

got a family every reason to do with now

once I understood this here's the

formula for failure errors in judgment

being lacks about developing your own

personal philosophy I'm telling you it's

called accumulated disaster it doesn't

matter whether it's your health or your

bank account guys got an empty bank

account probably has high cholesterol

why over the last six years you never

paid attention to either one and it

doesn't matter whether it's a dollar or

what it's your money or what is your

cholesterol count all you got to do is

commit the errors and just because

disaster doesn't fall on you at the end

of the first day that you don't eat an

apple you say well I didn't need an

apple today and tonight I'm not yield

well you got to be brighter than that

someday you got to leave first grade

[Music]

reason we make those first grade s still

small so they won't fit at age 25 right

don't fall here anymore

come on now let me give you the secret

to success or another for failure a few

errors in judgment repeated every day

for one month starts the weakness starts

the disaster process you can imagine

what happens insecure now here's a

formula for success a few

simple

discipline

practice

every way and you've started a whole new

process called a whole new life a few

simple little is practice every day and

if you decide today to go for the Apple

instead of the Hershey bar I'm telling

you you have begun the process of

turning your life around and if you keep

up that process not only what your

health habits but with your money habits

and with your communication habit with

your sales habits and management habits

and every other habit that you got if

you'll start that process

eliminate the errors and replace it with

discipline practice I'm telling you can

start this process of life change

immediately after today you don't ever

have to be the same again

only by choice you don't have to walk

out of here the same as you walked in

today only by choice you can start a

whole new process you say when the

throne is at that simple

yes it's that simple where else would

you start but with an apple you don't

have to start with something staggering

what if you should be walking around the

block for your good health and you go

what'll I do in six years I'm telling

you the word of disaster you could and

you should and you don't here's the even

stronger word you won't I mean don't

make me you're careless won't probably

means you're stubborn and either weren't

called to that could cure no I'm telling

you that fly at the end of five years I

six years I found myself with pennies in

my pocket nothing in the bank creditors

calling could should won't could sure

don't is called disaster

now do you change all that the next six

years I got ribs the next six years I

became a millionaire by the time I was

31 I'm a millionaire how about that you

say well mr. Owen what happened well

strangely enough during that second six

years of my economic life the government

was about the same

I'm telling you taxes were about the

same my negative relatives were the same

I'm telling you the economy was about

the same and prices were about the same

and everything else was about the same

circumstances were about the same

then how come I got rich how come I

totally changed my life I was not the

same somebody says well where did you go

to work on to do all that I started with

my philosophy I started amending my

errors by doing some better thinking

changing my mind coming up with ideas

that I didn't have before I met my

teacher and once that whole process

started for me I'm telling you I changed

my whole life within a six-year period I

was never the same and I've checked up

that process all these years one of the

reasons why I'm here is to continue my

craft I don't want the day to come

someday somebody says you should have

heard Jim Rohn ten years ago when he was

really terrific

guess what I want people to say I heard

him 10 years ago but you should hear him

now I'm young as a man works on his

craft young needs a man's done some

extra reading I'm telling you the man

doesn't miss a trick I'm telling you

he's worked hard on himself that's why

he's able to deliver like you did the

same thing could happen for you as a

teenager it can happen to you as a

buzzer and the father as a

businessperson as a salesperson running

a business doesn't matter

management wherever you find yourself

this is the process called personal

change and what I say start with you

start with your own philosophy your

philosophy is going to determine whether

or not you go for the disciplines or

continue the errors that's called

potential business and everybody has it

within their power what we're so happy

for me to find out at 8:25 mr. shields

said mr. own you don't have to change

country but you do have to change

philosophy and if you'll change

philosophy not country you can turn

around your income you can turn around

your bank account you can turn around

your skills you can become capable

powerful sophisticated healthy

influential all the other equities that

you could possibly walk out of your life

using the only stuff there is and not

trying to change any of this stuff

appreciate all of this stuff with all of

its ups and downs with all of its

mystery of why it works and sometimes it

doesn't work don't challenge this you

don't have to ask for another planet you

don't have to ask for another country

just ask for another book ask for

another seminar ask for another idea

and you can start this whole process of

personal life thing and I could spend

the whole day on the lot that's where it

is

like if you would treat with that enough

to study it enough to ponder it to where

you pick up the commitment like I didn't

say hey as simple as an apple a day as

simple as a walk around the block

why not start right there if you know

what starts there where else you gonna

start might as well start where teens

then go to the more complicated because

if you can't handle the complex heat it

the simple disciplines how can you

handle the tough

How To Build A Financial Planning Pyramid - Intro to the Blue Dot Wealth Management Series - Duration: 2:05.

Hi!

This is Rob Young, founder of Blue Dot Wealth Management.

I enjoy educating, so through a series of videos we're going to discuss what it takes

to build a good foundation for your financial future.

Some of you may remember Mazlov's Heirarchy of Needs from school.

I love using this example to illustrate how to prioritize the steps for sound financial

planning.

The bottom of the pyramid allows people and families to establish a foundation.

I refer to this section as Risk Management.

We want to put things in place that help protect our family from unforeseen risks, like the

loss of a job, needing to repair big ticket home items, accidents, or the loss of a loved

one.

Those elements should include, but are not limited to, Savings, Life Insurance, Long

Term Care Insurance, Health, and Disability Insurance.

The next level is what we call the tax deduction bracket, which will include, however not limited

to IRA/ ROTH IRA, 401K, College plans like 529 plans, your house.

Then at the top we have everything cool!

I want everyone to fill the top part of their top financial pyramid with the things that

are important or will improve my clients quality of life.

Of course anything steady starts with a sturdy foundation.

So we'll first be talking about Risk Management.

Subscribe to my YouTube channel and follow me on social media to not miss out on this

invaluable financial information.

And if you ever want to talk about your unique situation, please don't hesitate to contact

me directly.

'We ARE building it' Trump threatens to 'SHUT DOWN' Government to build Mexico wall - Duration: 5:05.

'We ARE building it' Trump threatens to 'SHUT DOWN' Government to build Mexico wall

Speaking to supporters at a rally in Phoenix, Arizona, the underfire American President once again came out fighting. He told supporters at a "Make America Great Again" rally that opposition Democrats were being "obstructionist".

During the 80-minute speech, he also took aim at the media, blaming them for giving far right groups "a platform".

Mr Trump wants Congress to finance his controversial plan to build a "big, beautiful" wall along the United States' border with Mexico to keep out illegal immigrants.

But Republicans will need the support of Democrats to secure funding for the wall in a government spending bill, which they are unlikely to get.

In his speech, Mr Trump said the Democrats were "putting all of America's safety at risk" by opposing the wall. He said immigration officers who worked in the area said it was "vital" to stem the flow of illegal immigrants.

And he warned that if it came to it, he would risk a government shutdown - which is what happens when legislation funding the federal government cannot be passed by Congress and non-essential services stop.  This will happen on 1 October if a bill cannot be agreed.

Mr Trump said: "Now the obstructionist Democrats would like us not to do it, but believe me if we have to close down our government, we are building that wall. He added that "the American people voted for immigration control".

There was further controversy as Mr Trump chose to leave out the heavily-condemned "many sides" part of his initial comments on the fatal violence at a far-right led demonstration in Charlottesville, as he blasted the "dishonest media" to supporters at an Arizona rally.

Prime Minister Theresa May joined people from across the political spectrum who criticised the US president's first remarks for failing to condemn fascists after the clashes in the Virginian city.

During a tirade against the "very dishonest media" to cheering supporters on Tuesday night, Mr Trump recounted the infamous statement, which he produced from his jacket pocket.

He told the crowd: "We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred, bigotry and violence. But he fell short of the next three words in the statement - "on many sides" - for which he was accused of equating counter-protesters with neo-Nazis and white supremacists.

The Republican only bowed to pressure and criticised the hate groups, including the KKK, by name two days after the August 12 violence during which Heather Heyer, 32, was killed when a car ploughed into anti-fascist protesters.

After Mr Trump's initial comments, Mrs May said: "I see no equivalence between those who propound fascist views and those who oppose them.

"I think it is important for all those in positions of responsibility to condemn far-right views wherever we hear them." Among other British critics was Communities Secretary Sajid Javid, who tweeted: "Neo-Nazis: bad, Anti-Nazis: good, I learned that as a child.

It was pretty obvious." Mr Trump's latest speech was aimed at buoying core support after backtracking on his pre-election calls for the demise of Afghanistan war on Monday, when he announced he would extend the battle.

But trouble broke out outside the convention centre following a day of largely peaceful protest.

Police, who had been on high alert at the first political rally since the Charlottesville attack, fired pepper spray to disperse a crowd after bottles and rocks were thrown.

5 Keys to Building a Brand in Real Estate - Duration: 2:49.

Hey what's going on guys, Jordan here from Cave Social

I wanted to talk to you about the 5 keys to

building a brand in real estate

super catchy music

First thing when you're building your brand in real estate is

that we have to realize we're doing this over the long haul

We can't think about it like we're going to put out one post

one image, one video and expect that to carry our brand

over the long term

What we need to embrace is consistent

posting. You need to be posting a couple times a week

On all your social media channels, website, etc.

Along with that, you need to be consistent in the way you present yourself

You wouldn't different colors on your business card

than you would your website

So make sure the content you put out all falls along the exact same line

We want to make sure of that, because that you'll keep brand consistency

and when people see your brand on any platform or in person, they'll remember you

Next is content types

We can't only be posting listings

You have to approach this like you're going to add value,

be informative, be entertaining, be inspirational

These are the things you should tie your content back to

as you go and you start to produce more and more content for your brand

When you do this people will start to trust you and start to like you

And people do business with people they like and trust

Alright guys, the 3rd tip

You have got to use different mediums

so whether that's a blog or a YouTube channel like this

making infographics, going to events, posting out your message wherever it may be

Use different mediums to get in front of your potential customers in different places

The next point is about being authentic

People can read through you if you're not being authentic

People have a very, very high BS meter these days

Keep your brand authentic, be yourself

That's what got people to like you in the first place

Keep being you, and let that resonate through your messaging.

The last tip: be where your customers are

look, if you're selling to retirees embracing a Snapchat strategy is not going to help you.

You wouldn't go and put flyers in a different neighborhood than you sell

So why would you got an be on a social network, website, forum, whatever it is, where your

customers aren't there.

Acknowledge where the attention is and be there.

It's going to be different for every market and for every agent.

It might be Facebook, it might be Instagram, it might be YouTube

You have got to figure that out

Once you figure that out, go all in on those networks and those spaces

If you liked this video

It would mean the world to me if you hit that like and subscribe button

Thank you to Inman News for posting this and we look forward to giving you more content as we move forward
