The £70m summer signing from Real Madrid scored as a substitute in the 3-2 defeat to Burnley last weekend. But he claims that was just the first of many as he backs his new club to challenge for silverware on four fronts.

Morata said: "I need to make an explosion in my career and I am at the perfect place, the perfect club to do that.

and it's like pulling teeth to get it--

and every month we're making the same request!!!

I can see how frustrating this situation would be –

it's making work, not accomplishing it.

Our question today comes to us from Gail who lives in Florida.

This situation seems to fit with Einstein's definition of insanity: "Doing the same

thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Clearly something is not working well between you and your accounting group.

It's incumbent upon you to determine what that "something" is and address it.

Choose a time when you don't need anything from accounting and ask to meet with them

in a neutral environment.

Take the onus on yourself and approach the conversation seeking to understand what the

issue really is.

Try to clear your mind of judgment.

The premise behind this conversation needs to be, "Help me understand what I'm not

doing or providing that is causing us to have such difficulty every month."

Then really listen to the answer—and probe to make sure you get what the problem is…

understand what's getting in the way.

It might be that there are other deliverables that outrank yours that are due at the same

time each month.

Or it may be that the person responsible for your deliverables changes month-to-month.

Or it might have nothing at all to do with your project and instead be a misunderstanding

in terms of priority.

Regardless, it's your responsibility to figure out how to get work done efficiently

and effectively.

So you want to take the time to understand and rectify the situation.

Tolerating difficult or inefficient processes is a major drain of energy.

Take action to control what you can.
