*dancing to song playing in the bus*

Hi, we are here now at the Santa Cruz beach.

Look at this beautiful place.

Like, all these houses, they are painted with different colors.

And I think this is my favorite wall, cause it's Longhorn color.

*hookem*

Road Trip Down the PCH - California - Duration: 2:32.

I'm here in sunny San Diego after having just taken an autumn Road Trip down route 1 for those of you

that don't know route 1 is a

Historic Highway that starts in San Francisco and run 600 miles all the way down the coast of California

And ends up here in San Diego

Over a million tourists travel down route one every year going to awesome places such as san Francisco big sur monterey

Malibu you name it if you're in a rush

Probably not for you. It's a very windy

Long Road that will take important tabler to get anywhere, but it's absolutely beautiful

You don't need a GPs or directions or anything once you get to route 1 you literally just drive straight by straight

I mean like this I get to drive right along the beach see the Pacific ocean

There's you can pick strawberries along the way stop and buy like avocados and fruits from local Vendors

To take you through a variety of different scenery like you'll start out driving down sunny

Beach and then you'll go into

flat Farmland

High Cliffs

And it'll be sunny one second and then it'll be foggy and windy the next

And I will say that if you're not a huge fan of wind

Maybe this is for you because there are some parts of it that you definitely just kind of want to probably stay in your car

Looks great though if you like birds

You're going to see alot of birds if you see so many bird that you're going to not even

Care about Birds anymore

And if you're lucky like you might even make a squirrel friend for the day or something that it's definitely possibility

There's some great squirrels. I'm sure

you're not supposed to feed them, but also like squirrels need to eat too so

That's the thing

Yeah, well that's basically it. That's all I got you know. This is probably a pretty short blog, but uh

You know it's just a road, so there's only so much you can do with a road and a vlog it's a really cool road

But at the end of the day, it's a road

So you know there's only so much I can say about a road. Im just going to slowly walk away now

Japanese Classics of the 2016 Touge California Rally - Duration: 3:05.

Japanese Classics of the 2016 Touge California Rally

A chat with any car enthusiast in Japan will undoubtedly include the word touge (pronounced "toe-geh").

Touge is the Japanese word describing the curvy mountain passes that dominate the Land of the Rising Sun and provide the perfect playground for casual cruisers and racers.

Last year, the folks at Japanese Nostalgic Car attempted to re-create those touge roads in Southern California with the first-ever Touge California rally.

The success of that event prompted this year's second annual Touge California, which combined 26 Japanese classic vehicles selected by JNC staffers.

Among those vehicles were three from Mazda's heritage collection: a 1975 Mazda REPU (rotary-engine pickup), a 1978 Mazda GLC, and a 1985 Mazda RX-7. (Click here for details on those cars.).

Touge California proved to be far from an easy, breezy cruise, with more than 200 miles of scenic and often challenging roads in and around San Diego and Orange County.

The following are all the vintage Japanese vehicles that participated in the event. Photo by Larry Chen for Mazda. The first-generation Toyota Celica was well-represented at the rally with three examples of the notchback body style.

Of the three, this 1977 Celica looked closest to stock with a stunning combination of pearl white paint, brown leather interior, and rear window louvers.

Of the handful of 240Zs, this one was particularly special because it was previously owned by Yutaka Katayama, the father of the Z car who is often referred to as Mr K.

He later gifted this Z to his personal assistant, whose son proudly piloted the yellow coupe at Touge California. 1973 Subaru 1400 GL Coupe.

The rally's lone Subaru had a deceivingly long hood that housed a meager 1.4-liter, four-cylinder boxer engine driving the front wheels with no more than 70 hp.

The quirky coupe was hard to miss throughout the route thanks to its bright green paint, which was a factory color offered by Subaru in 1976.

It may have doily-covered seats, but this 1984 Toyota Century commanded respect at Touge California. The owner acquired this mint sedan while he was stationed in Japan, where the Century is considered an exclusive ride for government officials and VIPs.

This Century is powered by a stout 40-liter, hemispherical V-8, and its air suspension keeps the ride nice and smooth. Those doilies, by the way, are official Toyota accessories. 1965 Datsun 1500 Roadster.

Luck was with this 1965 Datsun 1500 roadster. One of its hubcaps fell off during the drive, but the driver later found it and saved his classic's impeccable looks.

The owner also happens to be a designer for Nissan, which makes us wonder, could his Fairlady be the inspiration for an upcoming Miata-fighter from Nissan? We can only hope.

Affectionately called "the little Corolla that could," this tiny Toyota may not be packing much under the hood, but at least it conquered the route's grueling hills and finished the rally on its own. Some cars weren't as fortunate.
