So, we're going to head to the mall,
I want to just make sure that I'm good from a clothing standpoint for the next couple of weeks
I got a bunch of clothes that;
my form is kind of tapered in a little bit,
And so, I want to get them tailored.
At the same time I want pick up some sneakers
and maybe pick up some new stuff as well.
Make sure that I'm looking...
Looking good.
That's how I do it.
Just one store,
buy as many things as I can.
In and out.
I found this shirt, I love it.
So I'm just going to buy like seven of them.
Honestly, I just have a couple of stores that I go to,
I I know what size I am,
I know which stores kind of fit me and,
I also know which stores have the colors and the general style
that best matches my personal style.
My style is about half seductor and half elegant;
and sometimes casual, when I wear t-shirts.
Also. I follow a seasonal style pattern,
this is something my stylist taught me.
So my season is autumn.
My season is autumn because my skin tends to be a little bit tan,
I've got dark eyes, dark hair;
And autumn colors, which is what worked best for me.
So autumn colors are café, wine,
like blue petroleum, so like dark blue ,like what I have on right now.
coral, salmon,
basically all the colors you would associate with autumn.
You put those colors next to my face and I it makes my face light up,
versus what I used to wear all the time,
which was just black and blue.
Literally that was it.
All my clothes were black and blue.
While going on, basically I try 15 shirts,
and then the five that I absolutely love the most are the ones that I leave with.
I needed to get more shirts that are just more fitted.
I've lost some weight recently
I've gotten a little more cut up,
and I want to make sure that I'm wearing stuff that really flatters my aesthetic.
A lot of people think that I spend a lot of time and money on clothes,
I really don't.
I go shopping like once every six months.
Three years ago I had no idea how to dress.
Every shirt that I bought, everything that I bought was just like black,
and I think that's what most guys do, just black, blue.
There's literally not a piece of clothing that I have, with very few exceptions,
that is outside of the autumn spectrum of colors.
Alright guys, 3:10.
Mira is running a little late for our salsa class,
So, let's have a few minutes to explain...-
I just go to the same stores.
Stores that I know that have my size, my style.
So Stik is fantastic for me.
This cares to guys that are a little slimmer, more of a v-cut.
And they have a more elegant style.
So my style, again, is half seductor-half elegance,
and at times casual.
So you can see, these shirts...-
The seductor part, a big part of that really is the fit of the shirt.
So any shirt that I buy,
if it's not a perfect fit,
I'm going to bring it to the tailor and make sure that it's perfectly tailored for my body type.
What I really like about Stik in particular, aside from the size, the sizing,
is they know how to use, really intelligently use contrasting colors,
and little details that make their shirts very unique.
Nobody wants to wear the same thing that everyone else has,
so even like this shirt right here.
Just look at the this nice petroleum blue.
And so when I roll up the sleeves,
you can see...
you know, that's just a beautiful blue.
And t's beautiful contrast.
Now, this I bought just because of the way that it plays with the light.
So you'll see this shirt,
because of the little dots and because of this color blue in the material,
It's got almost like a sheen to it.
And so this looks really nice.
So if I go out like in a sunny day or in a place where I know there's going to be a lot of light,
I'll wear something like this.
This is actually somewhat out of my color spectrum,
like this color turquoise blue.
it's not within autumn,
but white and this coffee color are.
And this is just a unique enough shirt, where you'll see, I mean...-
You can see like, I stand out.
It makes my face brighter
and that's what you want to shoot for when you're buying clothes.
Pilatos is the other store that we went to.
They have really nice sneakers.
So I needed a pair of just dark sneakers,
which we got here.
And then, as I was walking out of the store,
and I needed more t-shirts.
I found this.
I love this.
So this is definitely a casual style,
but the material, I don't know if you can see this,
is just awesome material.
Just hugs my body,
it's got a good nice v cut to it;
So I ended up just buying like nine of this exact same brand of shirt.
So they're all different.
They're all different colors.
ll these all have autumnal colors.
This is petroleum blue.
This is a mustard color.
Anyway, let me get changed.
Let me see what's up with Mira.
It's almost time for salsa.
Hey guys, so just some final thoughts
as this episode is now concluded.
So, very productive day
I'm feeling really good about self-improvement dark-mode starting this coming Monday
This conclusion that we're filming right now is
actually, I guess, a day or two after the stuff that you just saw in this episode.
I wanted to kind of quickly end the stuff that I was doing with Myra and this salsa scene, so
again, my declared goal for dark mode
for salsa is going to be to dance a complete song with the same energy.
Which I don't know how that sounds to you guys;
But it's very, very, very difficult.
Even top level of dancers,
many, many, many top level dancers dont quite know,
or even understand how to do that.
Make no mistake, it's going to be a very difficult goal.
What you saw me and Mira practicing in that scene,
was basically, you can call it energy sensitivity,
where she would touch me here and I would allow my shoulder to more backwards
without any sort of...-
Kind of restraint.
Like there's a natural thing that happens if you touch the human body,
or even if you get some instructions that just kind of be free,
because of that kind of world an external...-
Externality, I think that's the word.
you know she could touch my shoulder here,
and I can, even very subconsciously or unconsciously,
Just not be free, not move backwards.
And so these sort of exercises I think are really useful for connecting with the energy of dance,
like just her doing that,
and just allowing my head to...-
and even more than that.
Just allowing my head to...
head to just kind of find its own path.
Just kind of removing the stimulus between her touching me and
And thought.
Which ultimately thought is my enemy here.
I want to just feel.
And so these practices are designed to kind of remove that additional layer that creates friction.
Ultimately when you're trying to express yourself energetically through dance.
I think that makes sense.
I mean it make sense to me.
hopefully make sense to you
Anyway this episodes over.
See you guys the next episode.
Oh shit
If you enjoyed this episode,
