Auto news on Youtube May 21 2018

hey there YouTube so if you haven't heard I'm in a bit of a reading slump

I'm having a hard time finding the motivation to read. I've been kind of

slowly working on that with my may TBR. I guess as a bit of inspiration

to myself to try and kick my butt in to gear, here is a list of books series that

I haven't finished yet. These first two I'm not entirely sure if they count

because they are rereads. But they're also series that I haven't read since I

was a child and I started rereading them but never finished it. The first one is

the Lost years of Merlin series. So these are the last two books; The Mirror of

Merlin and The Wings of Merlin. the-- this is a series by T.A. Barron and I was

obsessed with this series as a child. And a few years ago I started rereading it. I

got through like the first three books and I never finished the rest of it. So, I

really want to finish this up. These are like middle grade books so they're

really fast to get through so and they're like relatively short so why is

it taking me so long? It's been years since I started rereading! The second

series that is a reread is the Dark Is Rising Sequence by Susan Cooper. I talked

about this in my May TBR, but this is a series that I need to finish. I read the

first two books so I read Over Sea, Under Stone and this one, The Dark is Rising as

a kid but I never read the other three books in the series. So now that I

actually own them I really want to finish reading this. I was so excited

when I bought these and I just like didn't finish them. I bought them last

year in like September. Next up I have the Remanent Chronicles. This is the last

book in the remanent Chronicles series. this is the Beauty of Darkness. And I

really like this series, it really surprised me on how much I actually

liked it, and I haven't finished it. I bought this book, I think ...where did I get

this? I think I got this on Book Outlet. and I really want to finish it but I

think the thing that is putting me off is that this book is so big! Like,

I wasn't expecting this book to be this big but it is and I was I'm very scared.

This is like two of the first book. So it's very daunting to read but I do like

this series. So, hopefully I will be able to finish this up soon. The next series

that I really really like that I haven't finished yet

is The Magicians Trilogy by Lev Grossman. I love these books so much. They're super

interesting. And I really wanted to know how it ended and I put off buying the

third book forever even though I knew it was like in paperback, so it was, like, cheap

and then I finally got it and haven't - haven't finished. I don't know why. These

books are actually very, like, long and sometimes they're a little bit hard to

get through. But maybe that's why it's been - I've been putting it off? Or

I don't want it to end? I don't know! I just please finish this, Christy Lou, please

finish this. The next series, there's only two books in it! And I don't know why I haven' finished it. so it is

the Monsters of Verity trilogy. I actually don't own the second book of

this duology yet and I really need to get it because I want them both in

hardcover. And I feel like is the that book has been out for a while and it's

gonna disappear from hardcover and it is only gonna be in paperback. And then they

won't match. So I really need to pick that up soon so I can have my matching

set. And the last series that I have that I need to finish like ASAP is also by VE

Schwab, and it is the Shades of Magic series. So this is the second book A

Gathering of Shadows. I am actually working on this right now.

I have probably less than 200 pages left which is really good. Hopefully I'll be

able to finish this within the next week. Atill have to pick up the last book in

this series, A Conjuring of Light. I was waiting for it to come out in paperback

because I owned this one in paperback. I actually don't open the first one

either because I read that on audiobook initially. But I was waiting for the

third one to come out in paperback and I believe it's out in paperback now. I

think I saw it online in paperback. I'm probably gonna pick that up along

with the first one to complete this series. Just kidding Shades of Magic

wasn't the last one. I have, he Six of Crows duology that I need to finish.

I literally just finished Six of Crows the other day, so I didn't really think

about Crooked Kingdom all that much. But I've been wanting to read this duology

for like 500 years. So ,I have it. I bought them both together so that I could read

them like in succession. Those are all the series that I need to finish!

Hopefully finishing all of these will kind of like give my TBR shelf some

relief. There won't be so many things that are, like, staring me in the face and

be like oh you've started this already you need to finish it. Hopefully I can

get to those soon. Maybe not in May because I've already got like a TBR for

May. But possibly in June I will work on finishing up all the series that I need
