This is the first video in this herb-video-series where I will upload a video every month

about the herbs that you can collect at that time.

I will only speak about their uses briefly

because the main focus of this video is to know what you can collect this month

independet from their uses.

I will talk about it a little, but, as I said, not too much.

First, the nettle.

In May, you are already a bit late with collecting nettles

but you can still gather some - it still tastes nice.

You mostly use it for cooking

Just google it - there are a ton of recipes on the internet.

You can also use nettle for tea.

I like to make my tea with fresh leafes.

Next, field horsetail.

It has those... uhm...

I'm not sure if it's the blossoms

There are those "things" that are growing before the field horsetail

but you usually collect the green field horsetails that are growing now.

These other things, I'm not sure what it is...

They look very strange (here's a photo of one)

you usually don't collect those.

Next is comfrey.

Comfrey starts blossoming now.

Until the mid or end of May, it should be blossoming everywhere.

Its blossom are edible

you can decorate dishes with them.

As a herb, you can use it against various injuries

Bruises for example.

The next one is hawthorn.

This herb is good for your heart and everything that has to do with it.

Just drink tea made out of it (you can also drink it just for its taste ;) )

You can collect the young, fresh leafes or the blossoms.

The blossoms can also be used as decoration on desserts

because they taste slightly sweet.

Silverweed -

Silverweed is used against "woman's-complaints" and everything concerning your digestive system.

It is a very versatile herb that I really like to use.

You also collect the fresh, young leafes here.

Lady's mantle -

is also used against "woman's complaints"

and against problems with the digestive system.

Sweet woodruff does not exist where I live

but at places where it exists, it will start blossoming now.

You normally use it for cooking

especially for flavouring drinks.

Blue violets can be used against coughing

and it can also help to calm you down.

You usually make herbal brews or decoctions (is that the right word for "Absud"???) with it.

A tea out of the blossoms can also be made - but you should not drink it.

The blossoms are edible

you can put them on salads or other dishes as decoration.

Next one is lilac.

Lilac is used against fever and for the digestive system.

Again, you usually make herbal brews or decoctions (is that the right word for "Absud"???) with it.

As far as I know, you can't make tea out of it.

Spruce shoots - also known as "Maiwipferl" in Austria

I don't think a lot of you know the word "Maiwipferl"

My grandma used to collect spruce shoots in May

and make cough syrup out of it.

"Maiwipfer" are very young spruce shoots

and are very light green.

You can make THE BEST cough syrup out of them

recipes can be found everywhere on google.

You can also eat them - they taste pretty nice.

I always eat a few when I'm in the woods

they have a sweet taste.

But be careful to not take too much!

Otherwise, you could harm the tree.

Dandelion.

You can make honey out of its blossoms.

It is called dandelion honey ("Löwenzahnhonig").

Just google for recipes - there are different ones out there.

Some people also make salad out of its young leafes

but the leafes are already a little too big for that

because the bigger the leafes, the more bitter the taste.

So it is already too late for salad.

Next and last one is european ash.

If you want to smudge ash leafes

(you can also smudge the bark)

but if you wanna smudge ash leafes, go collect some now.

Ash is sprouting now, so it's the perfect time to collect some leafes.

What is the Foremost Concern for the Church Today? - Duration: 2:28.

What is my foremost concern?

Oh, okay, yes thank you.

Yes, I tend to be a bit of a pessimist, so I have a number of concerns.

But, I don't know, I think this kind of varies just day by day and varies according to what

I've seen and read recently, but, I just wonder if it's complacency.

If we as Christians have been very accustomed to doing well, to being able to be Christians

and still have access to good careers and high positions and all these sorts of things

and if that's just made us grow complacent.

If we're not pursuing the Lord with a fervency that we ought, if we're not evangelizing in

the way God calls us to.

If we're not just really getting to know the Lord, we're not arming ourselves with just

mountains of God's Word, getting it deep inside, praying fervently, fasting, just those disciplines

that God calls us to.

I just can't help but see it in my town, in my church, in my life, just a general complacency,

and I start to wonder, what will the Lord use to shake up that complacency, to give

us that fervent spirit for His Word and for His truth.

And, maybe it will be a time of persecution, or maybe it will be the sort of looming prospect

of persecution that will motivate us again.

And, you know you're looking back at William Carey and just how unpopular what he was saying

was at his time, yet I'm going to do it, this is what God's called me to.

And, to go back to many of those people who were willing to die for the faith.

Would we be willing to die for the faith?

Or are we just so accustomed to being able to be sort of lukewarm and still just coast

along in the Christian life and never really be challenged?

I don't know, I fear that we are growing or have grown just a little bit too complacent,

a little bit too comfortable.

because something bad happened so a lot of things happen I'm at the hospital

The recent dispute over whether Pope Francis denied the existence of hell in an interview

attracted wide attention.

This isn�t surprising, since the belief in an afterlife, where the virtuous are rewarded

with a place in heaven and the wicked are punished in hell, is a core teaching of Christianity.

So what is the Christian idea of hell?

Origins of belief in hell The Christian belief in hell has developed

over the centuries, influenced by both Jewish and Greek ideas of the afterlife.

The earliest parts of the Hebrew Bible, around the eighth century B.C., described the afterlife

as Sheol, a shadowy, silent pit where the souls of all the dead lingered in a minimal

state of silent existence, forever outside of the presence of God.

By the sixth century B.C., Sheol was increasingly viewed as a temporary place, where all the

departed awaited a bodily resurrection.

The righteous would then dwell in the presence of God, and the wicked would suffer in the

fiery torment that came to be called �Gehenna,� described as a cursed place of fire and smoke.

Early depictions of the afterlife in ancient Greece, an underworld realm called �Hades,�

are similar.

There, the listless spirits of the dead lingered in an underground twilight existence, ruled

by the god of the dead.

Evildoers suffered gloomy imprisonment on an even deeper level called �Tartarus.�

Beginning in the fourth century B.C., after the Greek King Alexander the Great conquered

Judea, elements of Greek culture began to influence Jewish religious thought.

By time of the first gospels, between 65 and 85 A.D., Jesus refers to the Jewish belief

in the eternal fire of Gehenna.

Elsewhere, he mentions evildoers� banishment from the kingdom of God, and the �blazing

furnace� where the wicked would suffer sorrow and despair and �where there will be weeping

and gnashing of teeth.� Jesus also mentions the Greek Hades when describing how the forces

of evil � �the gates of Hades� � would not prevail against the church.

Medieval ideas of hell In early Christianity, the fate of those in

hell was described in different ways.

Some theologians taught that eventually all evil human beings and even Satan himself would

be restored to unity with God.

Other teachersheld that hell was an �intermediate state,� where some souls would be purified

and others annihilated.

The image that dominated in antiquity eventually prevailed.

Hell was where the souls of the damned suffered torturous and unending punishment.

Even after the resurrection of the dead at the end of the world, the wicked would be

sent back to Hell for eternity.

By the beginning of the fifth century, this doctrine was taught throughout western Christianity.

It was reaffirmed officially by popes and councils throughout the Middle Ages.

Medieval theologians continued to stress that the worst of all these torments would be eternal

separation from God, the �poena damni.�Medieval visions of the afterlife provided more explicit

details: pits full of dark flames, terrible cries, gagging stench, and rivers of boiling

water filled with serpents.

William Blake Perhaps the most fulsome description of hell

was offered by the Italian poet Dante at the beginning of the 14th century in the first

section of his �Divine Comedy.� Here the souls of the damned are punished with tortures

matching their sins.

Gluttons lie in freezing pools of garbage, while murderers thrash in a river of boiling

blood.

Hell is God�s absence Today, these images seem to be part of a past

that the 21st century has outgrown.

However, the official textbook of Catholic Christianity, the �Catechism of the Catholic

Church,� reaffirms the Catholic belief in the eternal nature of hell.

It omits the gory details found in earlier attempts to describe the hellish experience,

but restates that the chief pain of hell is eternal separation from God.

The Vatican insisted that the pope was misquoted by the journalist.

But theologians have pointed out that Pope Francis has stressed the reality of hell several

times in recent years.

Indeed, for today�s Catholics at least, hell still means the hopeless anguish

of God�s absence.

What If Eyeless Jack Was Real? - Duration: 4:02.

Hello and welcome back to Life's Biggest Questions, I'm Ron McKenzie-Lefurgey.

Eyeless Jack is a spooky character originating from the scary stories of the internet known

as Creepypasta.

He's known for sneaking into houses at night in hopes of cannibalizing unknowing victims.

But what if this freaky fella was not a creation of the internet, but actually a real thing?

Let's explore.

Now get ready, it's time to ask the question: What if Eyeless Jack was Real?

As is common with these creepypasta creatures, little is known of Eyeless Jack's appearance.

Which makes him kinda hard to research, but such is life.

However, there are some consistencies between the stories.

Eyeless Jack is generally described as a person in a black hoodie, wearing a blue mask with

no nose or mouth.

As the name would entail, he seems to have no eyes, with large, black sockets staring

out from behind the mask.

It's also said that dark liquid, presumably blood, can be seen dripping from his eyes.

Technically, not even his gender is known, but since Jack is in the name, I'll assume

he's male for the purposes of this video.

With regards to his actions, Eyeless Jack, whom I must continuously remind myself not

to call Jacksepticeye, is one murderous dude.

Some stories tell of him sneaking into houses at night and attacking people, others tell

of him stealthily stealing kidneys and eating them.

The original story paints a pretty gruesome picture.

A man named Mitch moves in with his brother Edwin, and wakes up one night with a large

gash on his cheek.

He goes to the hospital, only for the doctor to lift his shirt and say "You somehow lost

your left kidney last night.

We don't know how, though.

Sorry, Mitch."

(beat) Look, I didn't say it was a GOOD story.

Mitch goes back home, is confronted by Eyeless Jack, snaps a quick picture, and flees.

Later, he learns that his brother was murdered by the creature, and finds a piece of his

partially-eaten kidney near the body.

Yikes.

Sounds scary…

And unrealistic, but hey, that's creepypasta for you.

Let's look past the awkward dialogue and imagine what would happen if this badboy really

existed.

The murderous aspect of Eyeless Jack isn't particularly new to this world.

Serial killers really do exist in the real world, and while Eyeless Jack might be somewhat

more effective and enigmatic than other killers, the end result would be more or less the same.

If word got out that he was going around killing people, many people would become rather paranoid

about it.

His unsettling appearance would certainly increase fear of him, although for most people,

the fact that he kills and eats people would be enough to instil fear.

Furthermore, the fact that he wears a mask would make it difficult for police to catch

him, since even survivors wouldn't be able to identify him, and his ability to avoid

capture would prove useful.

Of course, a huge factor would be whether or not Eyeless Jack was a human, or some sort

of monster.

If human, it's possible that he would eventually be apprehended by the police, or even get

overpowered and killed by one potential victim.

Some stories tell of him getting into a violent scuffle with certain victims, meaning if he

was human and made a mistake, he could be killed at any point.

However, if Eyeless Jack was some sort of mystical creature with magic abilities, he

would be difficult to stop.

It's unclear based on the stories whether or not the creature can be harmed, but it

probably could be.

The problem is, the way it sneaks into houses and somehow extracts kidneys without people

feeling it does seem to point to some sort of magical or demonic abilities.

The cannibalism would also indicate that it wasn't human, although he certainly wouldn't

be the first cannibal serial killer we've ever seen.

In this case, it's possible that Eyeless Jack would never be caught, and would simply

become a real life Boogeyman.

At the end of the day, however, even this would not change the world too much.

Even if his powers truly were mystical, there's a good chance that the mainstream narrative

would hold that he was simply a highly skilled person, who was managing to avoid capture.

The only people who would know the truth would be the victims, and as we know, they tend

not to live all that long.

And those who survive would have a good deal of trouble convincing others that a demon

had attacked them.

It would be scary to know that you might just wake up without a kidney, but then, that sounds

quite a bit better than waking up dead.

While it would be rather terrifying to run into Eyeless Jack, the addition of a single

serial killer wouldn't affect the world all that much.

One of the most outspoken anti-Trump TV hosts, Samantha Bee, was caught with her pants down.

Her show is scrambling to remove traces of segments where she supported a notorious scumbag.

She's hoping you'll forget, but we won't let that happen.

In the battle of the culture wars, late-night TV is decidedly liberal.

Once upon a time, Americans could watch an hour of comedy at the end of a long day.

It was a relaxing diversion from all the headaches of the outside world.

Talk show hosts provided "light" entertainment, jokes, and interviews.

All of America loved the likes of Johnny Carson and his apolitical content.

Those days are long gone.

Since Donald Trump was elected president, late-night TV has become all but liberal propaganda.

Hosts like Stephen Colbert openly praised Marxist leaders in response to Donald Trump

Jr. tweets.

The rest of the pack is just as toxic and hateful.

Perhaps worst of all is Samantha Bee.

Bee likes to positional herself as the only female late-night host in a crowd of men.

From her days on The Daily Show, she scored a show on TBS.

The poor imitation of The Tonight Show tries to provide comedic segments, with a heavy

dose of liberal dogma.

As a self-proclaimed feminist, Bee spends most of her time complaining about President

Donald Trump and conservatives.

She pays special attention to the hacks on the left, propping up Democrats whenever she

has the opportunity.

But all of that liberal-worship has come to bite her on the ass.

It was discovered Samantha Bee's show featured an extensive segment praising a Democratic

politician.

She claimed this man would be the answer to Donald Trump.

In fact, she even portrayed him as some kind of superhero.

Now, she and her show are scrubbing all mentions of this man.

I guess he wasn't the savior they hoped he would be?

How come?

Oh, it was Eric Schneiderman, the man who sexually abused four women and called his

Shri Lankan girlfriend a "brown slave."

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee featured a segment effusively praising former New York

Attorney General, and alleged abuser Eric Schneiderman last fall and is now hastily

walking it back.

Amidst the recent allegations against Schneiderman of non-consensual physical assault by four

separate women, Bee and her nightly talk show are doing damage control for their part in

promoting both him and his work in November 2017.

Bee's team has already removed a tweet from the show's Twitter timeline, as called out

by Jack Posobiec, and renamed the clip on their YouTube channel of Schneiderman's

appearance on the show to "Former AG Tricks Sam Into Thinking He Was Decent."

The segment called Schneiderman "a hero who stood up to democracy's nemesis",

and likens him first to Superman and then to Spider-Man.

Both in language and imagery, Schneiderman is positioned as a "hero," and President

Donald Trump his "Lex Luthor."

He is also called a "deadly viper" and a "white mamba."

Bee's show heaped a ton of praise on Schneiderman, at a time when he was barely in the spotlight.

As AG of New York, he was investigating Harvey Weinstein.

But beyond that, there was little he did that deserved attention.

Unless, of course, you're a liberal TV host.

You have to keep in mind that Democrats live in a giant bubble from reality.

The con artists in the media support the con artists in Washington, D.C.

They spend a ton of money propping up candidates like Hillary Clinton.

Schneiderman was once considered a Clinton ally; he even eyed a future in her White House.

So, it comes as no surprise that a left-wing hack like Bee would hype up this Democrat.

It's just all so ironic.

Her show portrayed Schneiderman as a Spider-man-like hero, even showing his name against a web.

They had a sit-down interview with the man, clearly hoping to give him some positive screen

time to improve his image and future political campaigns.

How did Bee not notice the warning signs?

Many are now talking about how Schneiderman had a reputation.

He abused drugs and alcohol.

His treatment of women was certainly talked about.

Years ago, Donald Trump predicted his downfall.

So, what's the story, Bee?

Were you completely unaware your "hero" was a scumbag?

Or did you deliberately ignore the rumors swirling around, because he was a Democrat?

The double standard can't be ignored.

Liberals take any rumor or hint of a rumor about Trump and twist it into a controversy.

But they ignore — or even cover up — actual evidence of Democratic wrongdoing.

Bee is only now trying to fix her mistakes after Schneiderman's crimes were plastered

all over the Internet.

Maybe Bee, and the rest of her late-night buddies, should look for better people to

worship.

this Port-A-Fort so no one knows the evidence is here I mean I doubt anyone's

in Wailing Woods right now but you never know you never know get rid of all it

sort that out and we go gone sweet so there's

definitely something under that because you can see right now don't even put my

browser maybe they could I start doing the tunnel system that we discussed we

discussed like a an underground tunnel system in loot lake but imagine if they

started the Shane: I can't believe, tunnel systems but I might, but imagine if they did that

imagine they added like some tunnel system under the map that went between

like the major locations so we're under the map now in replay mode and we're

gonna take a look exactly what is going on with this bunker at this moment in

time now it's quite tough getting under the map it isn't easy it takes a little

while to get the hang of it this is obviously risky reels where we just

looted at the start of the game and then every we're gonna head over to

wailing woods now you can actually spot this straightaway so this is exactly

where we we actually were discovering the whole thing so if we fire up a

little bit I won't go too high I go too high oh I'll disappear back through into

the actual earth but you can see the entrance right down you can see that

it's still destroyed if i zoom in on it that's exactly where we cause the damage

we through the hole Port-A-Fort now you can see the whole structure and it's a

very weird structure I don't know why it's designed like this and you can see

that's the ground that I was shooting at now it looks like there isn't anything

else to it at the moment it's just simply like a little cave but it is

quite low down and at this point this goes quite far across the map like that

the depth of this if for example we say take the depth of this and we head in

the direction of like maybe tomorrow town or something like that then we'll

find out pretty soon enough that this is level enough for it to actually create

maybe like an underground system now this is where the floor that we're in

now there's this box in replay mode once you get trapped in here there's no

escape and come back else anywhere else out under the map but what we can do is

we go underground here this is the actual base underneath the base itself

so this is the base that we were shooting this gray flooring right here

if we go underneath it it disappears and we can then see exactly where we were so

we was sat right under there we can't fly upwards into it because of course

the floor that shooting right here blocks it so you can't actually get

inside of it but we can't go underneath and then it goes invisible and we can

take a good look of what's actually inside the end at the moment there's

nothing but mushrooms and grass and it's quite disappointing I was

kind of hoping would find maybe a tunnel system of something else but maybe it's

just because at the moment they want to kind of give us a bit of a teaser as we

all know a fortnight we'll continue to add smaller bits and bobs of you know

maybe it's this or maybe it's that and we did discuss an underground system for

the whole thing of Fort Lee and we discussed it for loot Lick

but it'll be so cool if they added something else wearing a map as well

just like this and I'm gonna show you an example of what I mean by how it's in

level with everything else so for example if we look at this this is crate

and underneath crates itself this is obviously the level floor you've got

this walling that goes around and there's a huge crater underneath of

crates there's just one prime example now this is the same height as actually

going over to you know the same depth sorry as the mine itself so there's

areas like this where you know a Mayan system could connect to it also goes all

the way over here so if we head over towards places like tomorrow town and on

the edge reverse your risky wheels next of Whalum ones as well you can see all

of these dipped down deep areas anyone like that explores underneath the map

you bill to see all of this you can see right over there as well where it just

kind of dips goes towards the different mountains you've got the rock line that

dips further down like this so it could easily be a case of maybe a underground

mine system being added in so like for example areas like this in itself you

could imagine maybe a tunnel going from here and connected over to Whalen I'm

not sure how they would do it because of course tunnels would basically mean

there's gonna be a lot of people camping in those places maybe it would just be

another location where we would loot for example if we head over to it till it's

ours we can actually take a look let's go find till it so that over there is

but he's like snobby over there so till it should be over this way if we go and

have a look at tilted towers you better see the underground hidden location see

it's so weird being underground whereabouts are we right now

okay so turret towers is is that way is it this way oh there is less tilt out

okay so if we go under these two towers we can see all the hidden little areas

underneath two towers as well and this is a very similar thing of how we have

like for example this area here we all know about it where you have the chest

so we have the hidden chests underneath here and we also have the

chests that I hidden under here that you can actually go into as well so there's

loads of little hidden areas maybe they could just be adding in like underground

bunkers in the game for the future where we're gonna go get more Luke just like

they do in things like pub G you've got the military bunkers every really cool

addition to the game because these could then be locations that wouldn't make a

huge difference to the overall floor and like and how the game actually pans out

but it would offer people some extra loot and it's just a cool little

addition or it could be a larger conspiracy and it could be somewhat

attached to the whole storyline of season 4 let me know your thoughts in

meteorite as well and I've looked underneath here as well and that the

meteorite goes down it connects up here but it just isn't anything underneath

here either so who knows what this actually means but the underground

bunker at this moment in time remains empty we will be coming back in a reflow
