No One Saw This Coming!
California Is About To Make All Residents Give Up Their…
Liberals get a kick out of the chance to guide individuals.
It's their thing.
They'll claim to have a justifiable reason.
In any case, it generally sums to having the force and needing to utilize it.
And afterward utilizing it in ways which harm individuals.
Want to be healthy?
Great.
We'll force you to quit soda.Want to help nature?
Great.
We'll force you to purchase costly, pointless autos.
Via Daily Caller:
Analysts and conservatives believe a Democrat-led plan to propose a ban on gas-powered cars
in California later this year is a pie-in-the-sky scheme.
Assemblyman Phil Ting plans to introduce a bill that would ban the sale of gas-powered
cars produced after 2040.
The Democratic lawmaker said California drivers must adopt electric vehicles if the state
is going to reduce greenhouse gas emissions – but some are scoffing at the push.
"Scoffing at the push" is understating the obvious.
It's more exact to state that 'individuals who comprehend certainties are slamming their
heads against a table.'
The certainties of the issue are clear – regardless of how much a Big Nanny State may endeavor
to influence individuals to purchase something, it basically won't work if there isn't
a business opportunity for it.
You can't make a need out of anywhere.
What's more, in California – and even Democrats are conceding this – there's
no market.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE SALES IN CALIFORNIA AMOUNT TO LESS THAN FIVE PERCENT OF THE STATE'S
OVERALL CAR SALES, DESPITE THE GOLDEN STATE'S TITLE AS A CHAMPION FOR THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE
MARKET.
Read that once more, in the event that you should – an express that claims it's the
Best of the Best to sell electric autos… can just offer five of them for each ninety-five
gas-fueled autos sold.
Which, I assume, is precisely why lib legislators think they have to venture in and 'help.'
But even Democrats are almost certain this will never work.
What's more, they're dropping indications:
"It's an important conversation to have and we're glad it's starting to get some
traction," said Gina Coplon-Newfield, an official with the Sierra Club.
'We're glad to give this important idea some conversation time…'
Yeah, I'm sorry – that is simply not how you discuss a thought you believe will make
it.
That is the manner in which you discuss it before it bites the dust.
Also, given that it would demolish California's assembling and hurt poor people, well, no
love lost for it.
