REVEALED: How many would die on first day of war with North Korea

Tensions have ratcheted on the peninsula recently as the US and its allies carry out joint military drills.

With tubby tyrant Kim Jong-un vowing to detonate a hydrogen bomb over the Pacific Ocean and US President Donald Trump threatening to "totally destroy" the hermit kingdom, a third world war is looming.

Academic Dr Colin Robertson worked with a US military think tank to work out the cost of a conflict and made some truly shocking findings. He said: "It is clear that in any conflict with North Korea, US forces will emerge victorious.

The cost of victory is another matter – indeed, there is a tremendous risk of loss of lives and massive destruction.

"Some military estimates put the civilian and military toll in the first day as high as one million." Robinson pointed to various scenarios which could trigger an all-out nuclear conflict.

North Korean fighters may shoot down a US aircraft – and have done in the past.

"Some military estimates put the civilian and military toll in the first day as high as one million" Academic Dr Colin Robertson In 1969 regime troops took out out a US reconnaissance jet off the North's coast, killing all 31 aboard.

There was no retaliation, but such a move would likely trigger a response now. US nuclear bombers are currently on 24-hour alert status, a move not seen since the end of the Cold War in 1991.

Kim may also carry out a ballistic missile strike on the US and kill hundreds of thousands.

However, this "probably bring near instant and overwhelming military retaliation". Robinson believes the North is also capable of smuggling a nuclear device into a South Korean city.

Combined with an artillery attack from the demilitarised zone, this would signal and "all out war". In an effort to cripple North Korea's military complex, the US may target its nuclear facilities.

But this could unleash devastating radiation that spreads into China, Japan and Russia. Kim has concealed much of his nuclear arsenal in North Korea's mountains and a range of unknown locations.

The US yesterday sent a third aircraft carrier to the Pacific Ocean in a show of a force against the secretive state. USS Nimitz has joined USS Theodore Roosevelt – dubbed the "Big Stick" – and USS Ronald Reagan.

Each vessel is accompanied with a cohort of destroyers and submarines, and USS Ronald Reagan has been carrying out war drills since last week.

It is unprecedented to three aircraft carriers in the region at one time, and is a huge gathering of US sea power. Meanwhile, missile boss Thomas Kennedy assured Americans that Kims missile can be shot down before they reach the US.

A defector from the rogue state has also spoken out revealing life is hell in Kims kingdom as two other runaways are feared to have been kidnapped and returned to North Korea.

How many filters does your vacuum have? How to clean the vacuum filters. - Duration: 2:12.

Okay. So the vacuum cleaners... One of the biggest things people don't do with

their vacuum cleaners is check their filters or clean their filters. So on

this particular vacuum cleaner it's actually got one filter in here which is

filthy. I'm gonna show you. Another filter that collects things in here which is

also filthy and it has another filter in here which I actually have to go to

Godfrey's and buy another one which costs about $40-$50 AUD.

You really have to know where all the filters are otherwise you're going to wreck

your vacuum cleaner. This particular filter here is a washable one and

it needs to be washed.. it says every six months.. but we use it a lot and we need

to wash it a lot... I only washed this about a couple of months ago and let me

show you how disgusting it is

(PS that is paint in the bottom of my sink)

Use warm, just warm water and really make sure you've got gloves on but look at this!

This is just disgusting. Now yeah I wash this filter a lot and I'm always

surprised how quickly the dirt you know ... oh look at this

It will go to the bin. So basically you have to squeeze it out squeeze it out and wash it again and

again until it rinses clean and then let it dry for a couple of days before you

can use the vacuum cleaner again. Gross isn't it? I'll collect all these bits

and throw them in the bin later

Thanks for watching. Please subscribe.

How Many New JFK Files Are Being Released & What Is In Them? | CaCao TV - Duration: 5:04.

How Many New JFK Files Are Being Released & What Is In Them?

How many JFK files are being released?. Thousands of never-before-seen new JFK files are being released on Thursday, October 26, along with thousands of more files that were previously redacted.

These have been scheduled to be released since 1992, but President Donald Trump could have decided to hold them back. In 1992, the John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection Act was approved by Congress and signed by former President George H.W.

Bush. This act required that all JFK assassination records be disclosed within 25 years, which falls on October 26, 2017.

Federal agencies could contest that release, but only the President could have a final say in whether some files would be held back for national security reasons.

Despite urging from some security officials to not release all the files, Trump has indicated thus far that he plans to release them all.

Since 1992, nearly five million pages of JFK-related files have been released, either in full or redacted form. Thursday marks the last set left to be released.

That includes 11 percent of files that were previously only released in part, due to sensitive information, and an additional one percent of JFK files that were withheld in full. The files being released on October 26 will include:.

3,100 files never before released, totaling tens of thousands of pages 30,000 pages of National Archives files previously released with redactions, now with those redactions removed.

It's not known exactly what will be in the files, but experts have some ideas. Most believe the files won't contain a new bombshell reveal about JFK. But some topics that experts believe may be in the released documents include:.

Mentions of Cuba and the Soviet Union, including how the NSA kept tabs on Cuba's agents, The Intercept reported.

Possible CIA operations in Mexico City Details about the CIA's surveillance of Lee Harvey Oswald while he was in Mexico City NSA's knowledge of Cuban agents' cover names Files on top CIA officers from the 60s and 70s who were following Oswald before the assassination Jefferson Morley, a former Washington Post reporter, said that these top officers would likely include CIA officer William K.

Harvey, who led agency assassination operations and had frequent feuds with Robert F.

Kennedy Also possibly files on CIA officer David Phillips, who oversaw ops against Fidel Castro and was well-versed on the surveillance of Oswald when he was in Mexico City Files about the Watergate burglars, CIA personality profiles about Oswald.

A secret communication between the CIA and the Office of Naval Intelligence marked as "unintelligible." The communication was about Oswald, weeks before the assassination. In 1963, Oswald's appeal of a dishonorable discharge was denied, leaving him outraged.

Some hope the "unintelligible" communication will be revealed, but others think it's lost forever.

Some officials surmised that national intelligence had urged Trump told delay the release because of recent diplomatic tensions between Cuba and the United States, including claims that Cuba used some type of sonic device against U.S.

Others have said the security agencies were concerned about potential embarrassments, such as pages on Watergate burglars that might indicate they were connected to the CIA.

The released documents are expected to encompass a total of 113,000 pages. An earlier set of documents was released in July.
