ACTRESS CHRISSY METZ TALKS FASHION AND WHY SHE WON'T APOLOGIZE FOR HER WARDROBE

This is Us actress Chrissy Metz has made a name for herself as a successful, positive

influence on those around her.

Chrissy has become a prime time hero to many and fans everywhere look up to her.

A huge topic of interest everyone likes to discuss with Metz is her weight, how she deals

with it and her choices in fashion.

If one pays close attention to Chrissy and how she chooses to dress, it can be noted

you won't see her in pants much.

Style shared Chrissy's thoughts on pants.

Metz says she does not like wearing them at all.

Having grown up in sunny, hot Florida, Chrissy says it was too hot to wear pants and nobody

wanted to put them on.

Metz describes pants as "leg prisons."

Not only does Chrissy like to skip the pants and wears mostly dresses, Metz is learning

to branch out with her wardrobe choices and is choosing more edgy, colorful patterns.

Chrissy is redefining how plus size women everywhere are dressing.

In fact, according to People, it is her love for fashion and making people feel comfortable

that has led her to include creating a clothing line in her ten year plan.

Chrissy went on to say she wants to make clothes she would want to wear and refuses to sell

anything she wouldn't.

Metz has been learning to step out of her comfort zone and that has been proven by how

far she has come.

She admitted that sometimes being larger that "you want to hide sometimes."

Metz says she wanted to start wearing colorful items and not just boring black clothes that

fit.

That is exactly what she did.

One dress Chrissy wore to the 2017 MTV Movie and TV Awards had everyone talking and now

months later Metz is speaking out about her red latex dress choice.

Style shared Chrissy's reasoning behind wearing that dress.

Not only does she like latex and think it's cool, Chrissy said, "The Kardashians do

it; why can't I?"

Critics were fired up over her dress choice and to this day Chrissy remains unapologetic.

In May she responded to the critics via Twitter saying she will wear what she wants to, when

she wants to.

Fans continue to support Chrissy and she continues to inspire them.

Everyone will never forget that first epic glimpse into the life of Kate Pearson when

during the first episode of This is Us Chrissy stepped unclothed onto a scale.

That vulnerable moment resonated with fans everywhere and continues to do so.

Jim Carrey gives masterfully awkward interview at New York Fashion Week

  Jim Carrey gave an interviewer one of the most awkward interviews we have seen yet as he answered questions with theres no meaning to any of this and there is no me. The comedian attended the Harper's BAZAAR Celebrates ICONS By Carine Roitfeld party at the Plaza Hotel as part of New York Fashion Week looking decades younger after shaving off his facial hair.

However in a red carpet interview, the 55-year-old actor said: Theres no meaning to any of this.

So I wanted to find the most meaningless thing that I could come to and join and here I am.   When E! host Catt Sadler pointed out the at the party celebrates icons Jim bluntly replied with the phrase: I dont believe in icons. He continued with a paraphrased version of the commencement speech he gave at Maharishi University of Management in Iowa in 2014: I dont believe in personalities.

I believe that peace lies beyond personalities, beyond invention and disguise, beyond the red S you wear on your chest, that makes bullets bounce off. The Bruce Almighty actor, who was dressed in a black shirt and a rather jazzy blue printed blazer for the event also claimed that he had not dressed up.

Yeah right, Jim! He claimed: I didnt get dressed up.There is no me.

Theres just things happening. We arent really sure what he is referring to but he ended that statement with we dont matter.   In spite of his unusual interview, we couldnt help but notice that he was without the magnificent bushy beard he has become famous for wearing.  Unless youve been living under a rock, you wouldve known that Jims beard has been becoming more famous than him but he now looks like he did in his 90s/noughties heyday without the beard, and smiled for the waiting paps on the red carpet.

While beard lovers may be mourning the loss of such an impressive example of facial hair, we've gotta say, Jim is looking brilliant right now.

  The Mask actor is currently promoting the amazingly titled Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond – The Story of Jim Carrey & Andy Kaufman Featuring a Very Special, Contractually Obligated Mention of Tony Clifton.

The documentary features footage from when Jim went full method actor to play Andy Kaufman in Man On The Moon.

While Jim has been promoting several projects over the past few months, including TV show I'm Dying Up Here, he has also made headlines for different reasons as he is set to stand trial next April in a case regarding the death of his ex-girlfriend Cathriona White.

Cathriona took her own life in 2015, with the Tipperary native's mother Brigid Sweetman and her estranged husband Mark Burton filing wrongful death lawsuits against Jim.

Mrs Sweetman alleges that Jim gave her daughter three sexually transmitted diseases and supplied the drugs she used to overdose. Carrey denies all the claims. The trial is expected to begin on April 26, 2018.

Rodarte's co-founders, sisters Kate and Laura Mulleavy, are taking the designer-turned-director route with their debut feature-length film, Woodshock.

Kirsten Dunst, who is close friends with the Mulleavy sisters and often wears their designs, stars in this trippy film as a grieving woman who deals with a very traumatic loss through heavy drug use.

The film depicts Dunst's character through her emotional downfall as she battles between facing her intense emotions and the distortion of her reality.

Staying true to Rodarte's vibe, the film is set in California against the backdrop of the visually stimulating redwood forests (the sisters are LA-based and grew up in the forests of Santa Cruz) and all of the costumes are designed by the sisters.
