As a soldier stood in line at a California grocery store a woman wearing

a burka confronted the store's cashier about their American flag lapel pin and

everyone in the store heard it however a man standing behind the soldier wasn't

having any of it and by the time he finished the entire store was cheering

a man named hunter green recounted the outstanding story on his Facebook wall

telling about how his son had gone to California and encountered many

different people most of whom thanked him for his service and fighting to

protect our freedoms however one incident at a grocery store as he headed

back to base stuck in his mind that's when a Muslim woman dressed in a burqa

had some not nice things to say about our country in the flag that represents

it

Green said that as his soldier son stood in line he heard the woman ahead of him

loudly remark about the cashiers US flag lapel pin

in response the cashier reached up and touched the pin saying yes I always wear

it and probably always will apparently that didn't sit too well with

the Muslim woman who claimed to be of Iraqi descent and she shot back by

asking the clerk when she was going to stop bombing her countrymen well that

was the wrong thing for the woman to do and after a man standing behind the

soldier heard her asinine remark he spoke up

as hunter green recalled in his post putting his arm around my son's

shoulders and nodding towards my son he said in a calm and gentle voice to the

iraqi woman lady hundreds of thousands of men and women like this young man

have fought and died so that you could stand here in my country and accuse a

checkout cashier of bombing your countrymen it is my belief that had you

been this outspoken in your own country we wouldn't need to be there today but

hey if you have now learned how to speak out so loudly and clearly i'll gladly

buy you a ticket and pay your way back to iraq so you can straighten out the

mess in your country that you are obviously here in my country to avoid

ouch this man is 100% right apparently everyone in the store thought

so too as Green said that they all started cheering after they heard what

he said while the story can't be verified it does bring up a lot of great

points the Muslim woman's attitude exemplifies

the problem with many of the people who come to our nation seeking refuge from

the hellholes they've created back home they want to enjoy our freedom our

economy in our country meanwhile they turn around and insult us every chance

they get

as the man in the store said to the woman at the time if you don't like

America we'll gladly send you back to the third world SH asterisk though you

came from just let us know when you'd like to leave

share the story and leave a comment by clicking one of the buttons below

US Works to Uphold Flawed Honduras Vote - Duration: 12:51.

GREGORY WILPERT: Welcome to The Real News Network.

I'm Gregory Wilpert coming to you from Quito, Ecuador.

The conflict over the November 26 presidential election in Honduras continues unabated.

More protests are taking place Wednesday through Friday.

So far, 22 protesters have been killed in clashes with the police.

Last Sunday, the Honduran Electoral Tribunal officially declared the conservative incumbent,

Juan Orlando Hernández, to be the official winner with 43 percent of the vote.

The margin of victory of 1.4 percent over his closest challenger, the center-left candidate

Salvador Nasralla.

Earlier this week, the OAS and the opposition called for completely redoing the election.

Joining me to take a closer look at the international dimension of this vote is Mark Weisbrot.

Mark is the co-director for the Center for Economic and Policy Research and President

of the organization Just Foreign Policy.

Thanks for being here today, Mark.

MARK WEISBROT: Thanks, Gregory.

Good to be with you.

GREGORY WILPERT: So, one of the biggest reasons really to suspect that there was fraud in

the election has to do with the fact that on the night of the vote, with 57 percent

of the ballots counted, the Electoral Tribunal said that Salvador Nasralla, the challenger,

was ahead by 5 percent of the vote.

However, shortly after that, the vote count was suspended.

Then when it restarted some 30 hours later, the incumbent, Juan Orlando Hernández was

ahead by 1 percent of the vote.

Everyone says that such a dramatic turnaround is highly suspicious.

Tell us about what the analyses that have taken place so far, and what explanations

have been offered about how credible these explanations for this sudden catching up of

the incumbent Hernández.

How credible are they?

MARK WEISBROT: The government's not giving any explanation.

You don't hear anything from anyone.

In fact, it's hard to find anybody even saying openly that this vote is for real, that they

really won.

They're just establishing themselves as the winner.

So, originally the government said, "Well, all these votes came in when the vote shifted,"

from this lead that you mentioned for the opposition to a huge lead for the government

after the shutdown of the vote results.

They said it was because they came in late from rural areas, the ones that were coming

in later were from rural areas.

And that's where Juan Orlando Hernández had support.

But The Economist magazine just looked at the numbers and showed that there was absolutely

no correlation between rural areas and this shift in the vote count.

So, they didn't say that much after that.

Now there's no explanation, and I want to emphasize that as a statistical matter, if

they don't have that explanation, it just really can't happen randomly.

It's billions to one, at least, against the probability of that happening.

So, nobody could believe that.

There has to be a geographical explanation, and they don't have one and they're not offering

one.

And they gave an eight-page response to the OAS report, which questioned this result and

they did not even mention any explanation for how this happened.

GREGORY WILPERT: So, just yesterday, the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, despite all

these challenges, congratulated President Hernández for his reelection.

I think I just now also saw that the Israeli ambassador to Honduras also issued congratulations.

Now again, as I said, despite all these challenges to the vote and calling for a new vote.

How significant is it to have these governments recognize the result and do you expect other

governments to follow suit?

And if they do, what would that mean for the election result?

MARK WEISBROT: Well, you can see this has happened many times like the 2006 election

in Mexico, or other international events where the United States wants to gather support

for its position.

This time it's been more transparently obvious than previously, 'cause you had a Reuters

report that the US government actually coordinated the Mexican government's recognition.

And then the US government said, "Oh we're gonna follow Mexico and also recognize this

election."

The Trump administration didn't even mention that the OAS was calling for new elections

in their own statement.

So, it's very clear, obviously.

Well, we knew this anyway, right?

In many ways it's a repeat of the 2009 military coup, only in that case nobody could recognize

that, so the United States pretended that it didn't accept the coup until it did.

And in this case, it's very obvious the US is organizing its allies to congratulate the

government.

And the problem you have, of course, is this time the OAS secretary general has put out

this statement in an OAS report saying these elections are not credible, calling for new

elections.

But I think what the strategy of the Trump administration, what they're betting is that

Almagro, who's been a very tight ally of the Trump administration on foreign policy in

this hemisphere, that Almagro will just let it go.

He did something similar when there was the coup in Brazil in 2016, the parliamentary

coup.

He wrote a very strong letter saying that this was really against the Brazilian constitution,

and it was unjustified, the impeachment proceedings, they didn't have a crime and so on.

And then he just forgot about it altogether.

And I think they're hoping, and there's a good chance that he will just kind of forget

about this.

He did appoint two people, former presidents Colom of Guatemala and Quiroga from Bolivia,

to try and negotiate with both parties in Honduras, with the result of trying to get

a new election.

But I could easily see him just dropping it.

GREGORY WILPERT: You know, I was actually going to ask about the history, really, of

the OAS in this regard because they tended to ignore also the apparent fraud that occurred

in Mexico in 2006 and then in Haiti in 2010.

So, this seems to be, he's playing a slightly different role here, I have the feeling.

How do you explain that?

What is going on with Almagro?

It sounds like he has two tendencies and, as you said, the pro-US one usually ends up

winning but how do you interpret what's going on here?

MARK WEISBROT: Yes.

Just one addition to when you said Haiti in 2010.

The OAS actually did something nobody's ever done, they overturned the results of the Haitian

election.

So, that was one of the most outrageous things the OAS has done.

Yeah, I think the OAS right now under Almagro, also because there are right-wing governments

that are the most loyal to the United States that you've seen in decades in Argentina and

Brazil and Peru, although he's hanging by a thread right now.

It's very much answering to the US.

If I were to explain why Almagro is on the side of democratic elections in this case,

I'd say he probably does feel this way but I think most importantly, he had no choice

because the OAS observation mission, the people on the ground could just not accept this.

It was just not believable at all, so I think he had to go with that no matter what.

I think he probably wanted to as an individual, he's not a right-wing person, he just mostly

I think allies with the US because that's where his power is right now.

And really, he hates the left governments I think, much more than he cares about Honduras.

GREGORY WILPERT: Turning to the European Union, they also had the election observers there

and it seems that they've been taking a back seat of it.

That is, they've even expressed support, it seems for the recount effort, saying that

the recount which took place, set aside their suspicions about the vote, which it clearly

didn't do for the opposition, and not even for the OAS.

What do you think is going on here with the European Union?

MARK WEISBROT: Well, the European Union is playing the role that they've done.

Sometimes, they go back and forth.

It depends who's in charge.

But yeah, they're allying themselves with the Trump administration.

You gotta remember, the biggest thing here in Honduras, there's a general policy of all

US governments and Latin America, and again the Trump administration is not significantly

different right now from the Obama administration or the Bush administration on Honduras or

Latin America.

So, it's consistent.

They want governments that will follow their foreign policy.

They don't care as much what they do internally, as just being their allies.

And in this case, it's even more important and that's why I think there was never any

doubt what the Trump administration was going to do because they have their only military

base in Latin America is in Honduras, and that's the fundamental problem here.

The Hondurans cannot have democracy from their point of view because if they do, they will,

sooner or later they'll kick that base out.

They'll vote for a government that'll kick that base out of there.

GREGORY WILPERT: And finally, because of all this violence that has been going on and protests,

and the repression against the protests, and I mentioned there were 22 people killed, and

there are also these fraud allegations.

What is happening in Congress given that this is really something that is attracting a lot

of attention?

Not perhaps as much as it deserves, especially in the media but it has attracted some attention.

What is happening in Congress with this regard?

MARK WEISBROT: Yes, I think that's extremely important 'cause people can do something here.

They can write to their members of Congress because a couple dozen people already have

signed a letter just in like a day or so, to the administration, and is threatening

that Congress could cut off assistance to Honduras, its so-called security assistance

at least.

There's a lot more they could do as well.

And they want, they're supporting the call for new elections.

And they're also demanding that the government respect human rights.

I think this is the most important thing.

Amnesty International has also put out an urgent action that people can make calls and

they can find that on Amnesty International's website.

This is very important because Congress, there's a lot of members of Congress.

This effort in the House is led by Keith Ellison, but you also have Patrick Leahy in the Senate,

you have a lot of other members of Congress, that really see this government very much

as a repressive government.

After all, the opposition called themselves The Alliance Against the Dictatorship and

it really is a dictatorship now, especially since they obviously stole this election.

And they're using violence to repress the opposition.

So, I think people can contact their members of Congress and try and get them to sign on

to this.

That would be one of the most important things, as well as the Amnesty Urgent Action Alert.

GREGORY WILPERT: Okay, great.

Well, we're going to continue to follow this, of course.

I was joined by Mark Weisbrot, Co-Director of the Center for Economic and Policy Research

and President of the organization Just Foreign Policy.

Thanks again for being here, Mark.

The United States, Japan and China have also reacted to the new UN sanctions.

President Trump wrote on his Twitter account,... that all 15 members of the UN Security Council

have supported more sanctions on North Korea.

He claimed, the world wants peace,... not death.

Tokyo-based Kyodo News Agency reported that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said the

sanctions are of an unprecedented level and urged Pyongyang to show a sincere attitude

and take actions to start denuclearization.

China's foreign ministry said... the international community should fully implement the sanctions...

but added the North Korea issue should be resolved through dialogue and negotiation...

and that the new sanctions shouldn't have a negative impact on North Korean civilians.

US NAVY PILOT WHO FLEW CLOSE TO UFO DISCLOSES A TECHNOLOGY - Duration: 4:34.

US NAVY PILOT WHO FLEW CLOSE TO UFO DISCLOSES A TECHNOLOGY THATS NOT FROM THIS WORLD

BY ARJUN WALIA

The US Department of Defense recently admitted to running, tracking, monitoring and sending

military jet pilots to intercept UFOs.

Although they claim the program ended a few years ago, insiders from within the Pentagon,

including the former director of the program, Louis Elizondo, say the program is still in

operation today.

Regardless, for the first time in history the United States has released official footage

of a real UFO, which you can see below.

The video shows an encounter between two Navy F/A-18 Super Hornets and an unknown object.

This has hit multiple mainstream media platforms, and its concerning because its been

more than a decade and there are now millions of pages of documents from military, governments

and intelligence agencies detailing hundreds, if not thousands of UFO encounters.

These encounters have had multiple factors in common, one being the fact that they can

travel at speeds no known air-craft in the world can.

Secondly, they perform maneuvers that no known air-craft can perform, and last but not least,

jet interceptors, when approaching the vicinity of the object, commonly experience critical

instrumentation (weapons and electronic equipment) failure.

This may be new information within the mainstream, as its never received this type of serious

inquiry and revelation before, but for those who have been researching this subject for

a long time, this type of thing is a common occurrence, and the most shocking footage

thats been held by the Department of Defense and governments of this world is, most likely,

a lot more eye opening.

That being said, the incident below is also quite extraordinary.

This is one of multiple objects from the video, which was travelling against 120 mph wind

at a speed faster than the jet interceptors.

The one this pilot is describing is a glowing white bright object, approximately the size

of an airplane.

He also mentions seeing two other smaller objects which came out of the bigger one.

As I got close to it, probably within a mile to half a mile, it rapidly accelerated

to the south and and disappeared in less than two secondsIt had no wingstheres

no roters (like a helicopter)this was extremely abrupt like a ping pong ball bouncing off

the wall it would hit and go the other way and change directions at will.

And then the ability to hover over the water and then start a vertical climb from basically

zero up towards about 12000 feet, and then accelerate in less than 2 seconds and disappear

it is something I had never seen in my life.

The pilots name is David Fravor.

Important Points To Remember There are a lot of questions to be asked here.

When it comes to information sharing, mainstream media and the government (Click here to see

and read about documents regarding mainstream media and the influence intelligence agencies

have over it) have always used, distorted and completely changed information.

In doing so, they shape the perception of the events which happen in the world.

The best possible example might be 9/11.

This is why its important for us to exercise caution and critical thinking.

Is the existence of UFOs being used for an ulterior motive?

The same way weapons of mass destruction and terrorism, which by the way seems to be

sponsored by the same western military alliance which claims to be going after them, was used

to push political global elitist agendas?

In my opinion, most likely.

We will have to see where this goes, as there are lots of questions to be asked, and topics

to be discussed with regards to the massive shift in human consciousness which we are

currently living through.

Migrant seeking asylum says his toddler was taken away at the U.S. border - Duration: 6:13.

JUDY WOODRUFF: The New York Times and The Washington Post have reported that the U.S.

Department of Homeland Security is considering new rules to deter those entering the U.S.

illegally, separating children from their parents.

Under current rules, families are kept together, unless immigration officials determine parents

do not have sufficient documentation for their children.

From PBS station KPBS in San Diego, Jean Guerrero reports on one family already undergoing the

traumatic experience of separation.

JOSE DEMAR FUENTES, Asylum Seeker (through translator): I feel powerless not being with

them, not being able to hug them, kiss them, play with them.

JEAN GUERRERO: At least four Central American men in this Otay Mesa detention facility say

officials took their children from them after they arrived at the border asking for asylum.

In a statement, ICE said, "For the safety oft children involved, ICE must require documentation

of these family relationships."

The agency says that's because smugglers often pair children with non-parents.

The agency says the men didn't have enough documentary proof that they were the fathers,

and that officials are trying to verify familial relationships through the consulates.

But Jose Demar Fuentes says he gave customs officials at the port of entry his son's original

birth certificate and his Salvadorian I.D.

KPBS has seen copies of those documents.

JOSE DEMAR FUENTES (through translator): I wasn't going to come to a strange country

that isn't mine, to present myself with a child, without documents.

JEAN GUERRERO: Immigration officials sent his 1-year-old son, Mateo, to an Office of

Refugee Resettlement facility in Texas, more than 1,500 miles away.

Fuentes traveled from El Salvador to the U.S. with his partner, Olivia Caceres, and their

two sons, Mateo and Andree (ph), in a caravan of asylum seekers.

They were on the road for more than a month, traveling on Mexico's infamous train, La Bestia.

The family says they were fleeing gang violence and extortion at home.

We visited Fuentes' partner, Olivia, at a migrant shelter in Mexico, where she's staying

with Andree until they learn more about what's happening with Mateo.

OLIVIA CACERES, Mother (through translator): This is the first document they give us in

the hospital, so I kept it.

He had the original birth certificate of the boy.

JEAN GUERRERO: She says the family split up in Northern Mexico because they were in a

rush to get Mateo to the border.

The boy was weak and dehydrated after weeks of traveling.

The couple didn't have enough money for the four of them to get to the border right away.

OLIVIA CACERES (through translator): The priority was always Mateo, his health.

Andree is older.

He says, mommy, mommy, don't go, mommy.

Mateo is fine with his dad.

JEAN GUERRERO: The couple didn't think us immigration authorities would separate a father

and a 1-year-old child.

They thought the duo would either be detained together or released on parole.

Lisa Chavarria is an immigration attorney.

She says families seeking asylum are less likely to be released on parole under the

Trump administration.

LISA CHAVARRIA, Immigration Attorney: Now what I see is a leaning toward detain, detain,

detain.

And if there's not a place to detain a father and a child, then it's -- they're going to

detain them separately.

JEAN GUERRERO: Chavarria says family detention centers are currently focusing on women and

children.

She says the separation adds to the traumas of violence they're fleeing in Central America.

In the migrant shelter in Mexico, Andree plays with other children whose parents also brought

them from Central America.

They sing songs they learned on the journey.

BOY (through translator): Why do they kill us?

Why do they take our lives?

JEAN GUERRERO: Caceres says she's been repeatedly calling the facility in Texas where officials

sent her youngest son, Mateo, but that all she's received is a single call back letting

her know that the boy is fine.

The Office of Refugee Resettlement has declined to comment on the boy's case, citing privacy

concerns.

Immigration officials have the discretion to let the father out on parole at any time,

but under the Trump administration, the policy has been to detain for at least six months.

Caceres says the boy has a right to be with his father, that Fuentes is the best caretaker.

OLIVIA CACERES (through translator): Everyone knew him in the caravan because, once, when

Mateo was very sick with a bad fever, all night, Jose was holding him and pacing with

him.

JEAN GUERRERO: Caceres says she's heard that U.S. officials take good care of children

and that she's trying to focus on that, to stay positive for Andree.

Back in the detention center, Fuentes says Caceres tries to keep him calm over the phone.

JOSE DEMAR FUENTES (through translator): She gives me strength.

How am I, do I eat, do I sleep to relax, that everything's going to be fine, that Mateo's

in good hands, that she's taking care of Andree.

JEAN GUERRERO: Fuentes graduated from the Catholic University of El Salvador with a

degree in journalism.

JOSE DEMAR FUENTES (through translator): I like to know stories.

I like to write.

JEAN GUERRERO: But before he could pursue his dream of becoming a journalist, he and

his wife began to fear for their lives.

The couple says gangs were extorting them for money they didn't have, and Fuentes' close

friend was killed.

Fuentes says he wanted to be a good father because he never knew his own.

He was raised by his mother, who died a few days before he graduated.

JOSE DEMAR FUENTES (through translator): She told me she was proud of me.

It's sad to have the family fragmented.

One person in one place.

My mother in the sky.

My son, I don't know where.

Olivia with Andree.

JEAN GUERRERO: He says he's placing all of his faith in the institutions of the U.S.,

and hopes he will be reunited with his family on American soil.

For the "PBS NewsHour," I'm Jean Guerrero in San Diego.

U.S. Readies North Korea Pre-Emptive 'Bloody Nose' Strike: Report - Duration: 2:24.

The White House is preparing a North Korea option that would include a bloody

nose targeted pre-emptive military strike to knock out its nuclear weapons

program according to a Wednesday report by The Telegraph a strike could involve

targeting a launch site before it launches a ballistic missile test or

targeting North Korea weapons stockpiles the hope is that military force would

show Kim jong-un that America is serious about stopping further nuclear

development and trigger negotiations The Telegraph reported the report cited

three anonymous sources one inside the administration and two former officials

familiar with the White House's thinking the Pentagon is trying to find options

that would allow them to punch the North Koreans in the nose get their attention

and show that we are serious one former security official told The Telegraph the

plans indicated that President Donald Trump is more willing to use military

option than previously thought Republican Senator Lindsey Graham told

the Atlantic last week he believed there was a 30% chance of Trump using a

military option but that if North Korea tested another nuclear weapon that

percentage would jump to 70 North Korea tested a nuclear weapon in

September its sixth and most powerful nuclear bomb test North Korea also

tested three intercontinental ballistic missiles this year the latest one had a

theoretical range that included the entire continental US experts believed

that the missile wasn't yet capable of carrying a nuclear payload or if North

Korea had even developed a working nuclear ICBM warhead but the country's

rapidly developing weapons capabilities have put the White House in a tough

position Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has

reached out numerous times to North Korea pushing diplomatic negotiations

but Trump admonished him publicly on Twitter and has repeatedly threatened

North Korea and insulted its leader Kim jong-un there appears to be a split in

the rhetoric between Tillerson and Trump

Kim would respond to such an attack is a mystery experts believe that North Korea

has more than one ICBM launcher and possibly around 15 nuclear weapons the

US government estimates North Korea's nuclear weapon count is as high as 60

North Korea also has artillery along its border aimed at South Korea

Mahmoud Abbas calls on France to step up as he rejects US as peace broker - Duration: 2:06.

Mahmoud Abbas calls on France to step up as he rejects US as peace broker.

The Palestinian president, Mahmoud Abbas, has said that he would no longer accept

any peace plan proposed by the United States, instead calling on France and Europe to play

a stronger role in peace efforts between Israel and the Palestinians.

His comments on Friday came after the UN general assembly voted overwhelmingly to denounce

Trumps recognition of Jerusalem as Israels capital, largely ignoring Trumps threats

to cut off aid to any country that went against him.

One Palestinian man was killed and another four were wounded on Friday, during renewed

protests over Trumps Jerusalem announcement.

Washingtons unilateral change of policy on Jerusalem continues to reverberate in the

Middle East and European diplomats are pessimistic about the Trump administrations peace plan

which is being prepared behind closed doors and will be presented to both sides in 2018.

The United States has proven to be a dishonest mediator in the peace process and we will

no longer accept any plan from it, Abbas told a joint press conference with the French

president, Emmanuel Macron.

Macron repeated his earlier condemnations of the US decision on Jerusalem, but he also

ruled out recognising Palestine as a state unilaterally, which France has mooted previously.

The Americans have marginalised themselves and I am trying to not do the same thing,

Macron said, conscious that any move to recognise Palestine would antagonise the Israelis.

On Thursday the 193-member general assembly adopted a resolution by 128 to nine with 35

abstentions that rejected the US decision on Jerusalem.

The defeat for the US came despite threats from Trump and the US ambassador, Nikki Haley.

Abbas hit out at efforts by the US to intimidate countries ahead of the vote.

I hope that the others will learn the lesson and understand that you cannot impose solutions

by using money and trying to buy off countries, he added in Paris.

Abbass visit to Paris less than a fortnight after a trip here by the Israeli prime minister,

Benjamin Netanyahu, has raised speculation about whether Macron might be tempted to mediate

in the worlds most intractable conflict.

He and French diplomats have ruled out any fresh French initiative, insisting that the

American effort must run its course first.

Vice-President Mike Pence postponed a trip he was due to make to the region this week,

after Palestinian and Arab Christian leaders expressed reluctance to meet him.

The 40-year-old Macron has emerged as a dynamic international figure since his election in

May but his team insists he is focused on reforming the European Union, avoiding instability

in Lebanon, and anti-terror efforts in Syria and west Africa.

But Abbas, like Netanyahu before him, praised the young centrist at the Paris news conference,

notable for the warmth of the exchanges and the relaxed body language.

We have trust in you.

We respect the efforts made by you and we count heavily on your efforts, Abbas told

him.

Macron replied that he had committed myself very clearly to doing everything to further

the peace process and would visit the Palestinian territories in 2018 and intensify contacts

between the French and Palestinian governments.

Palestinians have been clashing with Israeli troops since Trumps Jerusalem announcement

on 6 December.

Nine Palestinians have been killed and dozens more wounded so far.

In Bethlehem on Friday, some Palestinian protesters held anti-Trump banners reading Mr. Trump,

its not your land to decide to whom it belongs, Jerusalem is ours and it belongs

to us and Jerusalem is the capital of Palestine.

North Korea issues chilling WW3 threat: 'We will make the US bitterly regret its strategy. - Duration: 4:32.

North Korea issues chilling WW3 threat: 'We will make the US bitterly regret its strategy.

A foreign ministry spokesman for Kim Jong-un claimed that the Trump administrations

arrogant National Security Strategy report was nothing but the proclamation

of aggression aimed at holding sway over the world.

The spokesman added: The international society should remain vigilant against the

manoeuvres of the gang of Trump to invade and control the DPRK by igniting a nuclear

war at any cost in the Korean peninsula.

And see through the ulterior motive behind the US repeated talk of dialogue, designed

to cover up its evil intention and mock the world.

"As the US set its diplomatic and security policy at crushing us militarily and is publicly

aiming a sword at us, we will make the US bitterly regret its strategy with our cannons. On

Monday the Trump administration unveiled its National Security Strategy which detailed

the challenge posed by North Koreas nuclear missile programme to the US.

The report said: North Korea is ruled as a ruthless dictatorship without regard for

human dignity.

For more than 25 years, it has pursued nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles in defiance

of every commitment it has made.

Today, these missiles and weapons threaten the United States and our allies.

The longer we ignore threats from countries determined to proliferate and develop weapons

of mass destruction, the worse such threats become, and the fewer defensive options we

have.

In a foreword written by the US President, Donald Trump added: We are rallying the

world against the rogue regime in North Korea.

Following the reports release, Pyongyang on Friday hit back claiming peace and stability

on the Korean peninsula had been jeopardised by previous US administrations throwing out

all agreements.

The official said: Out of our will to safeguard the peace and stability on the Korean peninsula

and put an end to the nuclear threat and blackmail and the hostile policy of the US, we held

bilateral talks with the U.S. and various forms of multilateral talks such as the Four

Party Talks and the Six Party Talks over the last two decades and during the course we

had reached some agreements.

However, the previous US administrations threw all the agreements reached with us into a

garbage can like waste paper under the absurd assumption that the DPRK would collapse

even branding it as a rogue state, axis of evil, outpost of tyranny and target

of preemptive nuclear strike.

We chose the road of possessing the nuclear weapons to defend our sovereignty and rights

to existence and development in the face of ever increased hostile moves and nuclear threats

and blackmail of the US.

We are convinced that the only way to ensuring a lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula is

to have the deterrence that ensures a practical balance of force with the US.

The gang of Trump likes to pose itself as if its country is a world superpower.

However, the US is nothing but a corpse going to the grave. The news comes amid fears

Kim Jong-un could be plotting another missile launch as tensions escalate with the US.

The despotic leaders mouthpiece reported that Kim Jong-un had visited the active volcano

Mt Paektu on Friday a site which has repeatedly been used by North Korean leaders before making

significant decisions.

The ominous visit comes as satellites images reveal fresh activity at Kim Jong-un's

nuclear test site.

In November 2013, Kim visited the mountain with his aides a month before he executed

top officials including Jang Song-thaek, his uncle, and political guardian.

Then in April 2015, he visited the volcano again just before executing Hyon Yong-chol,

a former defence chief.

Kim has reportedly visited Mt Paektu five times during his six-year rule, but this is

the first time he is making a visit in December suggesting a potential Christmas or New

Year's Day launch.

Welcoming in the 2017 New Year on January 1, Kim Jong-un made a chilling announcement

that North Korea was close to testing an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM).

North Korea has since test launched three ICBMs, the first was in July and the latest

one Kim Jong-un claimed was capable of reaching all the US mainland.

A South Korea government insider warned: Kim Jong-un is following in his fathers footsteps

in visiting the mountain at times of important decisions regarding the state.

Kim Jong-il did the same, he visited the mountain right before announcing in 1974 his

list of 10 social decorum [which includes the commandment that the people remain completely

loyal to the head of the state], said a South Korean government insider.

Kim Jong-il also visited the mountain just before executing Kim Tong-kyu, then-senior

official for international affairs, in 1977.
