ALONE IN THE USA - CALIFORNIA VLOG 😱🇺🇸 [ENG SUB] - Duration: 6:48.
You know that feeling of uncertainty, when you are going to a new school
and soon you gonna know a new class?
a new place, new people
I was recently invited by the Education First to San Diego for an English language courses
Before leave, I was a little bit scared
you know
How it will be?
I dont speak aswell in English
So, I haven't known that i dont gonna have a trouble speak in the USA
I found that ...
All in all it
You only live once
And you know what?
It was the most beautiful two weeks of my life !!!!
Maybe I'll start from the most important part
I met a lot of great people from different countries
Starting with my best friends: Italian
-If you take spaghetti with Italian tomatoes
-Its very good ...
... because it is Italian - not French
- # $ * &! # the Italian food!
From France!
-Thomas Lordinot from France!
-I love you Poland!
O O O O O O O
From Holland
-In Polish is "Kocham Cię"
-In English - "I love you"
-In Dutch?
-ik HOU VAN JE
From Mexico!
* Mexican something - probably a declaration of love to me and all the Polish people *
From Canada
-I live in Quebec, Canada
-I speak French
-You can say something ...
... For example, "I love Poland" - in French?
-I love Poland!
Once again, from France, because there were a lot of them!
-Hakuna Matata! ♫
-What a wonderful phrase! ♫
-Hakuna Matata! ♫
-Ain't no passing craze ♫
From US!
Ending on my classmates and roommates:
For example - from Japan
Switzerland
German
Taiwan
Switzerland again
Although this guy, it just scared :C
I improved my English
I felt more confident when it comes to speaking in a foreign language
-you are sweet!
And of course, I travel a lot
For example, I was on the USS Midway!
YOU KNOW that I walked on the aircraft !?
I could touch a real airfighter!
Even some could enter
Fly in the simulator
Well just
The dreams come true!
Another - a museum of aircraft and space!
There was SO AMAZING!
-AIRPLANES! * * Wowowow
-Wiecie what is the worst here?
This museum is great, but ...
-... there is no aircraft, which I can enter :(
-And I'd like to enter to some aircraft
-May I will find some
-Well - we are looking for it
-Now we have just
-ROCKET!
With the Stijn we tested a hurricane simulator
-Hurricane?
Yeah, let's go!
-Come on, you first
-Ou it looks dirty, man
-ŁEEEE
But to be honest
It was a little squishy
-NO WAY, MAN
-NO WAY
-THAT'S ALL!?
-That's all...
In contrast to the space part
-This is uniform of Neil Armstrong: O
-The rock from the moon :O
I went to dangerous stone that could kill me
but if you see this movie, it not happened : D
It was really funny expedition because
We dont suppose that we are going to walk into the mountain over one hour
-I thought it will be a short way, but it'is not
-My mate
-He is from the country, where is so flat, so the mountain for him is smth like
-a challenge
-But we can do it - we are already very high
It was worth it for the beautiful views and picture
which
immortalized unforgettable moment
And I saw a real seal!
It was the sweetest view in the world *. *
I also was in the gym
once time
But you know - I wouldnt be lazy
OKEY !?
We also drove to look around and took some beautifull pictures
And of course I also visited the Los Angeles
that You can not miss on the trip in the California
I walked along the Avenue of Stars
I was at Universal Studios
-I love this song
-WOOO
-Ooo MAN!
-Now we shop
-I want to buy something for my nephew
-IT IS SO GREAT!
-It is so sweet - it is ideal for the car!
-But it is not for my head, it is for kids
O my God, i need to leave shop, because I gonna lost my all money
I was also on the Venice Beach!
In this theme park, which probably You know from GTA
Observatory and ...
I saw the LA by night!
IT IS something wonderful!
And very cool thing was that the whole time we had rented a car
Once time we had a Ford Mustang
And It was really great cause we could feel smth like
American freedom and chill that Hollywood
are showing us in their movies
And I have something like
that for me is really great to drink a coffee
in a beautiful location
That's why I drank coffee every moment
I drank and drank, and drank, and drank ..
and...
... I was happy :D
And it's all thanks to the Education First
If I went alone, and not for classes
I propably wouldnt talk a lot in English
All the time!
Additional I propably wouldnt meet new friends
I recommend You to check the description, where You can find EF's offert
Now, additionally if you tell that you are from me
you have a 5% discount!
And I came back from San Diego where were full of sun
and more than 27 degrees Celsius
to Poland
Full of snow, with temperatures below zero degree
Fortunately, I have a lot of souvenirs from this trip
and I will send you two of the postcards
Maybe I will send one postcard to You!
Post a comment - which country would like you visit - and enter your email
And the details - as always, are in the description!

Watch a raid on a medical cannabis farm in California - Duration: 14:03.
I go after them because it's illegal in the state of California to cultivate marijuana
I am in complete compliance. That pisses them off.
I bring you a message of peace. In the category: wait-didn't they do that 10 years ago?
California is legalizing weed starting January 1st 2018 for recreational use
but tonight I would like to tell a broader story in three episodes I will
take you to California and I will conveniently call these three episodes
the ghost of cannabis past. The ghost of cannabis present and the ghost of
cannabis yet to come.
So yes boys and girls we're gonna talk about a very bad thing. It's called the war on drugs
Yes it's a real war. With real people locking other people in cages.
And why? Because it's the law.
That pillar under our democracy those sacred words written in our constitutions and the
reason why Hermione Granger would have been burned at the stake a couple of centuries ago.
but before we continue hi my name is Tice. You might remember me from
episodes like Trump and weed and getting slapped in the face in slow motion
in 2012 I was a reporter for a Dutch television station and I had the opportunity to
travel all around the u.s. in a van to do stories wonderful.
I had heard that in Humboldt County you could smell weed just driving down the highway and coming
from Amsterdam that made me feel right at home
so I did what any mainstream journalist would do when wanting an expert opinion on Mary Jane
I called the cops
And what happened next and what you're gonna see in a little bit is what
basically put me on a five-year path digging into worldwide drug policy and
I've been doing that basically ever since
But I never really used the footage that I shot in Humboldt until tonight so let's now go live to Humboldt
County in the year 2012 to a 6 a.m. meeting of the humboldt county drug task
force ready to lay down the law
our crook that owns the property is a [Bruce .#$%#$]
so first thing you're gonna come is a travel trailer
I flew over this one Friday
It was up. It's still going. It looks just like this
There are people everywhere
What did you find today? - arrived on scene found five people on the property that we detained
we have marijuana growing in the house and we have marijuana in a greenhouse
We have marijuana outdoors
rough guess-timates about a thousand marijuana plants
Located one firearm in the trailer
I have a Humboldt county building planning department coming to make sure everything's up to code
That the structures are permitted
(Department of) Fish and Game is on scene making sure there's no water diversion
so you have the maximum allowable plants under that so you're adhering to the guidelines?
I have over 2000 prescriptions.
Okay and these are people that come here and tend the grow?
Well. No. Some of 'em.
You have contact information for these people so I can call them and verify that?
No that would be something my attorney will be getting you
you but you say your primary source of income is the the marijuana you're
you're getting to the collective
well it's enough for me to survive nonprofit. Pays my bills.
But if I may ask: Which problem are you solving right now?
Which what which problem?
yeah which problem are you solving?
problem I'm solving what I'm concerned about the most is that any environmental
health concerns are occurring out here
you see this has environmental protection? First and foremost?
Yes
Wait
Maybe this is a good moment to tell you
Northern California is ridiculously gorgeous
this is the home of the ents
and also home to tons of hippies that flocked here in the 70s and 80s when the war on drugs had started they hid in the hills
far away from the touristy redwoods
over the decades people moved in who weren't interested in an eco-friendly lifestyle and started fucking things up waste
dumping water diversions and even toxic waste dumps from butane hash oil producers
You know: decent fucking jail material
but before any conclusions about that we're even drawn those 1500 plants we're already being cleared out
they are probably going to jail for something else than environmental protection
that come down the road right now the cultivation of marijuana appears to be
illegal so we're still investigating
so initially may be arrested for cultivation and marijuana possession for
sales of marijuana we're not the environmental police that they're the
experts they'll inspect it takes oil samples so they find any violations
they'll submit the reports on what kind of District Attorney's Office
if I ask you what the problem is you're solving - you're not saying well drugs you know
that there's drugs out on the streets that's not what you're solving. You start about environmental protection.
Well that's what the the root of all evil is that
people grow marijuana are doing any legal they have disregard to the land and
to the environment so it's a multitude of issues yet people they're drug
dealers growing narcotics you have people that have totally disregard the
the land clearing earth to put greenhouses down to moving streams
blocking streams so it's a multitude issues of marijuana cultivation
this is a private piece of property that was bought and it was originally just gonna be a house and met somebody that told me this is a good
place to grow a good medical cannabis and so I decided to try that
I built some greenhouses and I have a very close family friend that owns a dispensary
serves to a lot of sick people that need medicine
it's it's embarrassing for people that are following the law to be shoved into a position to look like criminal idiots
And that's what the Humboldt task force has done here
I've had the sheriff come out here approximately two years ago inspected. I invited him in.
there's certain types of people that do follow the laws they are
in compliance and they are legitimately tied to a dispensary that's regulated by
a county so [??? ???] the county building guy has come here and seen everything in action
to go after them I go after 'em because it's
it's illegal in the state of California to cultivate marijuana whether or not
I'm going after on patrol going out for drunk drivers or domestic violence
cultivation marijuana is illegal in the state of California so we receive
reports or develop until we investigate it when the voters say that's completely
legal then we will no longer do that but tell the voters and state legislators
and federal government and the state government say it's illegal we will
continue I mean it's a job if people told me that drunk driving was illegal
then we wouldn't arrest drunk drivers somebody told me it was legal to walk
into a grocery store and point a gun in somebody's face and rob 'em was legal and
we wouldn't investigate armed robberies right now marijuana is a felony in the
state of California I'm paid to him force the laws of the state of California. And that's why we're here.
If he's saying he's a robot he should be following the law he's not he's intuitively interpreting what he wants to see
because you say you have you have a paper that allows you...
I am in complete compliance they don't like that. That pisses them off.
How can this guy do this legally? That's their attitude.
They say they follow laws by the book well they don't.
well the problem that we're dealing with is that there are some misinformation
out there that growing marijuana somehow legal now in the state of California or
in Humboldt County because of this medical marijuana issue it's not legal
if you grow marijuana and you sell marijuana it doesn't matter if it's one
plant or a thousand plants you're violating California law
okay here we are back to the fierce urgency of now because make no mistake
about it even though California and other states are legalizing weed the war
on drugs is far from over what I learned that day and what that trip introduced
me to was a system that is basically based on false assumptions about the
people that work in all these industries and this is not just about weed this is
about basically a lot of other drugs as well I mean the guy in the video wasn't
dumping waste in the streams but that didn't matter the plant was all that was
needed for a raid the fact that 50 years ago countries from all over the world
decided that certain types of substances were going to be 100% illegal no
exceptions has given us a system of perpetual state violence against people
who might not be doing anything wrong but using or producing even these
substances exist people are violent or they have guns and the shoot of other
people or they steal shit then of course you have to go after them but very often
it's just the drug itself that's all that needed to lock these people up
prohibition has shown time and again that it leads to corruption and
hypocrisy and it feels miserably at its own girls drug use has not gone away
it's only gone up and has been much more unsafe because of prohibition but let me
stop ranting because it's bad for my heart I tried to find out what happened
to these people in the video well as for the cops in their laws Californians
legalized weed through a referendum while real Americans like Mike Tyson and
Kid Rock elected a new president who installed this nuanced character from
Alabama as the person to oversee it all as for the grower he was booked I hope
to find out what happened at his farm but there doesn't seem to be a court
case anywhere nor were any signs of environmental violations
I did find a more recent case about him being harassed by Forest Service police
when he was delivering some cannabis somewhere
that case got dismissed.
As for me I walked out of there not understanding a thing what had happened I had so much more to learn I
basically just gave the footage to Vice in Amsterdam who then sort of offered me
a job and then I worked there for a few years actually studying the drug war Hey
in the next episode which I really need to finish before fucking New Year's
we're gonna go back to California and see how people are gearing up for
legalization I went there with my girlfriend and I had an awesome trip and
that's gonna be real soon and I need to start editing that and the last episode
I'm gonna shoot in spring because then legalization hopefully has happened and
then we're gonna see how it has all came to come to be so if you want me to stop
by just drop me a note and who knows maybe we'll find the guy from this video
and see how he's doing thanks so much for watching please
subscribe if you haven't done so give me a thumbs up if you liked it and if you
don't like me and hated this video then I give it a thumbs down and go fuck
yourself too I also want to give a shout out to Chad Johnson
he's a drone flier in Humboldt County
he lives in Arcata and he's for hire and I'm very very glad that I got to use his footage
was that it? I don't know let's see was that it?
WELL I WAS TOLD WE WERE GONNA GO DO SOMETHING WITH GHOSTS. GHOST OF CANNABIS CHRISTMAS!!!
I just don't have the money to hire anybody that animate you well
Go fuck yourself Tice!!!

As Minimum Wage Skyrockets in California, Simple Economics Strikes Back in Epic Fashion - Duration: 3:20.
Conservatives have warned for decades that constantly raising the minimum wage is not
a magical solution — but it looks like California is about to learn that lesson the hard way.
Last year, Democrat Gov. Jerry Brown signed a law that raises California's minimum wage
to $15 per hour over the next few years.
The left cheered, but nothing comes for free.
A new study has found that the skyrocketing minimum wage will likely mean the loss of
400,000 jobs… and low-skilled sectors will be the hardest hit.
Yes, the same group of people that liberals claimed to want to help will be the ones hurt
the most by the law.
"The job loss is not spread evenly.
Slightly more than one-half of the job loss is projected to be in two industries: accommodation
and food services, and retail trade," explained a report from the Employment Policies Institute.
The study was run by two professors of economics, and looked at employment trends going back
to 1990.
After carefully studying the link between minimum wage hikes and employment, the economics
experts came to a startling conclusion.
"The EPI study found that for every ten percent minimum wage increase the state passed,
employment declined two percent," summarized Breitbart.
"California's minimum wage increase had a greater impact on lower-income workers,
where employment among that group decreased five percent."
The detailed study went beyond simply reporting that the law would hurt California, but also
warned other states to avoid falling into the same trap as the Golden State.
"California's rising minimum wage has depressed employment opportunities in the
most heavily-impacted industries," explained the study.
"The conclusions should give pause to states or localities interested in emulating California's
wage experiment."
It's common sense, which is probably why most liberals completely miss it: Businesses
don't have an unlimited stash of cash.
Otherwise, why not just make minimum wage $100 per hour tomorrow?
The answer, of course, is that it's not sustainable.
Forced pay increases must come from somewhere.
Often, the "somewhere" is low-skilled workers who are just getting started in a
profession.
For example, instead of hiring two high school workers for $7.50 an hour, a fast-food restaurant
might suddenly be able to afford only one new hire at $15… or, increasingly, they
turn to automation.
Every minimum wage change affects something else.
It often isn't sufficient to just give raises to low-level employees, because higher paid
workers then don't make as much by comparison.
Everyone demands more.
The cost of everything increases.
The entire pay scale shifts, and costs are saved by cutting jobs or passed on to customers
in the form of higher prices, basically negating minimum wage raise completely.
The result is inflation and lost jobs, and the cycle repeats itself.
Frustratingly, it looks like short-term schemes to garner votes is more important to politicians
in California than the actual well-being of the state's economy and its people.
The rest of America should pay close attention.

Touching moment Jay Z halts concert in California for emotional cancer survivor
Jay Z showed fans a glimmer of how truly good-hearted he is after halting his concert in California on Saturday.
The world-famous rapper, 48, stopped the entire production of his 4:44 show to bring a fan on stage who had suffered from cancer twice.
After spotting Christina Cruz and her glittering sign while in the middle of his set, he stopped and motioned for her to come up.
She had been standing near the front row with her sign, which read: I beat cancer 2x 2 see u! I love u!!! Selfie or hug?.
Jay Z noticed fan Christina Cruzs sign while he was performing .
The rapper gave the cancer survivor a hug after calling her on stage .
The Run This Town artist read out the sign to the crowd before saying, I gotta give you at least a hug.
He was then cheered by fans as he went on to ask: Could somebody help her around please? Help her around!.
A video captured the rapper helping Christina on stage and giving her a hug.
The rapper, 48, stopped the entire production of his 4:44 show to bring her on stage .
Someone who claimed to be a pal of hers shared the footage on social media and commented: My bestie got to meet #Jayz last night! If you were there last night tag her! @krstna03 #f***cancer #shesASurvivor #444tour #sheLovesHim #christinacruz #jayzconcert #jayz444tour.
Later, she took to Instagram as she described it as the best night of her life.

California Duck Hunt: My First Canvasback! - Duration: 6:03.
What is going on guys it is the morning before we are getting ready to go duck hunting
Now I'm gonna say
Bring a lot more decoys with us. I don't know if you guys saw the last one. We've
Racked up on decoys everybody was kind of bitching at me getting our decoys on all right we did it
So we are doing a solo hunt this time
I'm not bringing anyone out nobody else could make it out, which is no issue for me. I like going out alone
but
We are going to try some new spots tomorrow
You know we're not bring anybody out or anything, so we really don't have to worry about hitting ducks
So I want to try some other spots out we're gonna go ahead
Try this Slough tomorrow
between these two large open ponds
Because tomorrow it's gonna be kind of windy so I think the Ducks will get moving
But I don't think it would be much cloud cover so who knows
So I want this decoy spread to be really visible so that anything flying over. It really gets attractive it sees it
And I also got some new duck calls so my duck calling is definitely getting a lot better
Honestly that promotes easy Mallard crap is just piece of shit
So I went ahead and Chuck that but I've got some new calls
Definitely a different sounding definitely sounding a lot better so very happy with that
So I think tomorrow will be a good day
Stay tuned and see if it is
Decoys are out there. I don't know if you can see them
But we are all ready to go we got about 10 minutes until shooting light
And then we're going to start clobbering some ducks
Alright guys, this is the first step in the day very nice canvas back
So
We his decoy spread is great. They came swinging through
And then they came riding in the middle they were a blast this guy wasn't able to get double three came in
But they really get this guy selling real good
We've tried out the spot here pretty much all morning
And out here been in the spot for about
two hours two and a half hours or so
One duck, and I'm out here kind of scouting areas too next weekend or the weekend after that are going to have
Somebody coming out with me so I make sure I get them some ducks
So we're gonna. Do is we're gonna grab our decoys here we're gonna move up
Just a little bit and sit in a spot for a few hours and stuff and see what happens to the producers
If we got in we get any more ducks, but so far
You know the way I am if I get something for the day. I'm happy so we're gonna do a little traveling around and
Get these decoys over to a different spot and see what happens spot here
Already had some ducks fly over a smaller setting up the decoy so really stoked for this, but I just want to say
Earlier I know you left your fucking trash
Well boys and girls changing spots worked out we've got a dead duck out there. We gotta go get come out
Just go get this thing
Alright, so we've got a nice
three winged teal I
Love these things do that look at that color?
Awesome, we've got two ducks
We haven't limited out on anything yet, so we're gonna continue, honey
Definitely definitely a better spot. I believe let's see what comes back

What To Make Of California's New Advice On Cellphones And Radiation - Duration: 10:33.
What To Make Of California's New Advice On Cellphones And Radiation
People have long been concerned about radiation from cellphones, but none of the research has persuasively or credibly made the case that the low levels of radiation emitted from personal electronic devices pose a threat to human health.
Still, public health authorities made the decision to offer advice to those who are concerned about potential dangers.
The U.S.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released a guide on the issue in 2014, saying that for now there is no scientific evidence to link health problems to cellphones.
Connecticut did the same in 2015.
The latest public health department to do so, the California Department of Public Health, released a document on Wednesday called, "How to Reduce Exposure to Radiofrequency Energy from Cell Phones.".
The problem: The California agency never meant for the document to be a public warning of any kind.
"This is a response to concerns that have been expressed to us, over and over again, by the general public," said Dr.
Karen Smith, director of the California Department of Public Health, who described the document as an alert rather than a warning.
"Our response is, if you have a concern, here are some very practical things you can do.
In fact, a previous version of the document had been released after a court order ― not because California's public health officials thought that people should be warned about risks.
Joel Moskowitz, director of the Center for Family and Community Health at the University of California, Berkeley, wanted to see the guidance on cellphone use that the state agency had been working on since 2009.
Earlier this year, a judge ordered the state to release the document, as well as previous versions, to the public.
This week's guidance is an updated version of the documents the public health department released under pressure.
Smith told HuffPost that the agency had been working on a draft on cellphone use but decided to spike it when the CDC released its guidance in 2014, making their work "redundant.
"At that point, we shelved the idea of needing to put out guidance while we continued to study the science and waiting to see if anything new evolved," Smith said.
"But the fact that we did not issue that guidance at that time was seen by other people as having some other motivation, like there was something we were trying to hide.
That wasn't the case.
When people express worry about the radiation that cellphones give off, they're mostly concerned about its possible link to tumors and cancer.
So far, most population-based studies in thousands of people over several years don't show that more cellphone use leads to more brain tumors, although a study in Sweden did find that people who had used a mobile phone for over 25 years had threefold higher odds of developing brain cancer.
However, the American Cancer Society notes that this Swedish study is not definitive, as most other studies have not come to the same conclusions, and Sweden did not experience a rise in the rate of brain tumors over the course of the research.
The most alarming study to date, conducted by the National Institutes of Health's National Toxicology Program, has found that rats exposed to low levels of radiation for nine hours a day, over the course of their two-year lifetimes, had a higher risk of brain and heart tumors.
However, it's unclear what, if any, application this may have for human beings.
There are also several caveats to the study that should give people pause about its significance, like the fact that only male rats got the tumors or the fact that their entire bodies were exposed to radiation, not just their heads.
In light of the current research, California's guidance document states that the research linking cellphones to health problems is still uncertain and that scientists disagree about how great the risk might be for users.
The document advises people worried about radiation to send text messages instead of talking on the phone and to store phones in purses and backpacks instead of in pockets or against the skin.
It also advises people to avoid using their cellphone when the cell signal is weak or when they're in a moving vehicle or train, because the cellphone emits higher levels of radiofrequency energy to make up for the weak signal strength.
Finally, it says people who are worried about radiation should not sleep with their phone in the bed or near their head unless it is off or in airplane mo.
Cellphones and other devices, including televisions, radios and microwave ovens, emit a kind of energy called electromagnetic radiation, or radiofrequency energy.
This type of radiation is weak and does not damage cells or DNA, but other kinds of radiation on the higher end of the electromagnetic spectrum, such as UV rays from the sun, can damage DNA in cells, leading to health problems including cancer.
A survey of most of the major public health bodies around the world actually do agree on a few things about cellphone radiation: namely, that no research has ever confirmed that low levels of radiation can harm people.
The CDC, the American Cancer Society and the World Health Organization all agree that there is no scientific evidence to date that definitively confirms that radiation from electronic devices poses a threat to human health.
In fact, WHO states that there have been approximately 25,000 articles published over the last 30 years about the link between radiation from devices like cellphones and their effects on human health and that to date there has not been any data that confirms any health threat to people.
"Despite the feeling of some people that more research needs to be done, scientific knowledge in this area is now more extensive than for most chemicals," WHO states.
"Based on a recent in-depth review of the scientific literature, the WHO concluded that current evidence does not confirm the existence of any health consequences from exposure to low level electromagnetic fields.".
The American Academy of Pediatrics says that more research should be done on this issue but that the question of cellphones' effect on health should be a good reminder for parents that these devices are not toys, especially not for infants or toddlers.
The AAP also notes that limits to screen time may serve a dual purpose, to both enhance children's cognitive development and prevent unnecessary exposure to low levels of radiation.
Based on a few limited studies that have found a possible link between cellphone use and brain tumors, WHO's International Agency for Research on Cancer classified radiofrequency energy as "possibly carcinogenic to humans" (group 2b) in 2011 ― a far-ranging category that includes a wide variety of everyday objects and professions, such as exposure to lead, gasoline or traditional Asian pickled vegetables, and being a carpenter or working in textile manufacturing.
IARC uses the 2b category for research that finds a credible causal link between substances and health risks, but can't reasonably rule out chance, bias or confounding factors in the results.
While studies have yet to find a causative link between cellphone use and health risks, what is obvious is our growing dependence on the device, Smith said.
"While the science of whether or not cell phones pose a threat to human health is still evolving and is not definitive, what has become apparent is that the pattern of use of cell phones is changing," she said.
"Many more people are using them, and they're using them in ways that add hours to the amount of time [in use].".
