Congresswoman Maxine Waters gets a brutal wake up call as the House Ethics Committee

finally presses charges against her.

After a long history is suspicious behavior, she is finally charged with corruption.

Back in 2008, Maxine arranged a meeting between the Treasury Department and representatives

from the same back in which her husband was a shareholder – OneUnited bank, reports

World News.

While being a member of the House Financial Committee, she spoke to then- Treasury Secretary

Henry Paulson about his minority-owned banks.

Despite her efforts, OneUnited back obtained $12 million in federal bailout funding to

help cover the loss from the collapse of Fannie and Freddie Mac.

After hiring her grandson to work as her chief of staff, she managed to save her husband

from losing as much as $350,000.

Melanie Sloan, the Executive Director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington,

argued:"By contacting then-Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson to request a meeting, allegedly

for a group of minority-owned banks, but then arranging for only one back – OneUnited,

in which she had a financial interest – to attend, Rep. Waters violated House conflict

of interest rules."

She broke the following rules:

A House rule requiring members to act in ways that reflect "credibly" on the chamber.

A House rule prohibiting lawmakers from suing their positions for financial gain.

A government ethics statute banning the dispensing of "special favors."

The Common Sense Show's Dave Hodges said that Maxine is something like a "poster

child" for "the congressional group who vehemently opposes Donald Trump, refuses to

work with him even though he's extended his hand across the aisle, even though he's

a man that has set up apprentice programs in Maxine Waters' district…this country

is on a collision course with civil war because of people like Maxine Waters."

RIP A California Highway Patrol officer was struck

and killed by a suspected drunk driver when he crashed into the officer's patrol vehicle,

which was parked on the side of the Interstate.

It happened on Christmas Eve, officials said.

Officer Andrew Camilleri, 33, was in the passenger seat of a parked patrol car when the vehicle

was hit around 11:20 p.m. Sunday on the San Francisco Bay Area highway.

Camilleri was in the patrol car with Officer Jonathan Velasquez, who was sitting in the

driver's seat and suffered minor injuries in the crash, Fox News reported.The 33-year-old

officer was transported to St. Rose Hospital in Hayward where he was pronounced dead.

Officer Camilleri was married and had three children who expected their father to come

home and help them open Christmas presents, said Asst.

Chief Ernest Sanchez at a news conference Monday morning.

Assistant Chief Ernest Sanchez said the driver was traveling at a high speed on Interstate

880 when he slammed into the back of the patrol car parked on the right shoulder.

The crash shut down southbound lanes of the highway for hours.

The California Highway Patrol said the driver who struck the officers' vehicle was 22

years old and under the influence of alcohol and possibly marijuana.

The unidentified driver was also returning from a party.

Camilleri began his career with the California Highway Patrol just last year on August 27,

2016, officials said.

He leaves behind a wife and three children who expected him to be home to open Christmas

presents, the Los Angeles Times reported.

"We offer our thoughts and prayers to his family, friends and colleagues as we collectively

mourn this heartbreaking tragedy," the CHP Golden Gate Division said Monday.

"We come to you with broken hearts and also anger — not just because we've lost one

of our own," Sanchez said.

"The number of fatalities we've had in the Bay Area, just in the last couple of weeks

involving people who have chosen to drive under the influence of alcohol and are suspected

of marijuana use — you'll find too many tragedies have happened."

"Today, we lost not only a hero, but a son, a brother, a husband and a father to a senseless

act and an irresponsible decision," said Capt. Tim Pearson, who commands the CHP's

Hayward area office.

"Andrew was drawn to this profession due to his courage, integrity and desire to serve.

Andrew was a great man who loved his job and loved his family."

So tragic.

Gov. Jerry Brown Pardoned Two Immigrants Criminals

Once again, California showed that they have zero worries when it comes to the security

of our citizens and the welfare of America.

Today, they continued with their disgraceful annual tradition.

On Sunday, Governor Jerry Brown (D-CA) continued his Christmas holiday tradition and granted

pardons to two immigrants who were about to get deported for horrific crimes.

Brown claimed that his pardons are an act of mercy which is clearly wrong.

This is an act of stupidity.

Via Sacramento Bee: �The Democratic governor moved as federal

officials in recent months have detained and deported immigrants with felony convictions

that resulted in the loss of their legal residency status, including many with nonviolent offenses

from years ago.

With the pardons, the reason for deportation may be eliminated, lawyer Kevin Lo of Asian

Americans Advancing Justice-Asian Law Caucus, which represented some of the men in a recent

class-action lawsuit, said in the Bee.

The pardoned immigrants will still need to ask immigration courts to reopen their cases,

he said.�

The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Brown pardoned 132 people for all kinds of

crimes.

Mony Neth of Modesto and Rottanak of Davis were the lucky ones to get pardoned by Brown.

The Cambodian men were arrested in October in immigration sweeps.

�Kong was convicted on felony joyriding in 2003 in Stanislaus County at age 25 and

sentenced to a year in jail.

Neth was convicted on a felony weapons charge with a gang enhancement and a misdemeanor

charge of receiving stolen property with a value of $400 or less in 1995 in Stanislaus

County�, The Bee reported.

Gov. Jerry Brown�s latest hit on the White House was on October where he insisted a bill

that was passed which includes more rights to the illegal aliens which naturally makes

them have more freedom to do illegal activities, mostly involved in gangs and drugs.
