Vertigo REACTS | Classic Movie Trailer Reaction & Review!!!! - Duration: 8:46.

of the Holiday at Sea reaction channel?

This journey I'm about to go on I'm super excited for.
With doing reaction videos to maybe, like, new trailers,
I also am very interested in going backwards
and visiting some trailers for some of the classic movies
that have probably just been lost in time.
I, you know, they've been lost to me and many others.
You know, movie trailers have really become,
like, an art form in and of themselves in the last decade.
But they weren't always that way.
And so I'm curious to go back to some of these trailers
and see, A, how good the trailer is
or just, you know, what the trailer is like,
and then, B, like, how much it captured
maybe the heart of the film,
looking back, knowing the film so well.
So the very first movie I'm gonna do that with is Vertigo.
Vertigo is one of my favorite movies of all time.
I actually think it's probably one
of the best movies of all time, top two.
A lot of people would put it number one.
Some people put Citizen Kane.
Vertigo is just amazing.
It's directed by Alfred Hitchcock.
If you haven't seen it, I suggest you see it.
And hopefully this trailer reaction video
will get you interested in it.

I think I've seen, like, moments of it,
like the last moment.
I've never seen that trailer.
Yo, okay, so knowing the movie the way I know.
Guys, I know this movie.
Knowing the movie the way I know it,
yo, that trailer's mad dope.
So I'm trying to put myself in, like,
the place of maybe somebody growing up,
I mean, like a, you know, 21, 22 year old,
and you know, what, I'm not even sure
what year Vertigo came out.
I believe it was in the '60s, '58?
It came out in '58.
I'm trying to put myself in their shoes
and just think, like, without knowing the movie,
having never seen the movie, would it be intriguing?
Yo, that's hella intriguing.
Okay, so I was a little,
I was a little confused for a second,
because, like, man, they seemed to make this movie
way more suspenseful or horror-like
with the music and everything in the trailer
than maybe the movie is,
because the movie on the surface
seems like such a love story, so beautiful,
beautiful music, you know, immaculate,
incredible colors, all that kind of stuff.
But really at the heart of it,
it really is, like, a terrorizing story
about one man's obsession or, you know,
idolization of this woman
and the length he'll go to try to get her.
And it's really just, like,
maybe more like a cautionary tale,
which is why I love Vertigo so much,
not even to mention, like, the direction
and the editing and just all the innovation,
like, all the colors he uses
and (sighs) the framing, everything like that.
What I love about the trailer,
and what trailers nowadays seem to really suck at
is this trailer seemed to give a lot,
a lot of information to make you very intrigued,
but didn't give away the story.
Like, you didn't watch it and feel like,
oh, I've seen the whole movie,
whereas, like, you know, movies today,
it seems like that's, like, the MO,
like, to have a good trailer,
you have to give the whole story away,
which as a filmmaker myself, as an artist,
it scares the hell out of me
that I can make a movie one day for a studio,
and they'll just give my whole movie away in the trailer,
which really sucks.
This movie is, like, you saw a whole bunch,
so much, but I felt like I was,
I left with way more questions than I had answers to,
even, even seeing the movie,
just trying to take the trailer for itself,
I just seen, it just seems very mysterious,
which is great, because that's what the movie really is.
Guys, if any of you are interested in filmmaking, right,
and you want to get into it, look up Vertigo.
Look up, like, filmmakers dissecting it, analyzing Vertigo,
like, the blocking of Vertigo, the colors,
the color language, all that stuff.
It'll blow your minds,
and it will make you a better filmmaker.
I'm sure of it.
Watch it, take notes.
Hitchcock was a master, and we all follow in his footsteps.

Great trailer, loved it,
very surprised that it was that good.
I thought it was gonna be kind of weak,
just because it was '58, 1958.
But I don't know, I prefer it over a lot of trailers today,
which is actually what the movie's like, too.
Movie's old, but I still prefer it over many movies today,
'cause it just holds up so dope.

Top 6 Upcoming Classic Isometric RPG Games like Baldur's Gate 2019 - Duration: 7:00.
Hello and welcome from Eastern Europe my name is ColdBeerHD and this time I want to finish
my series about games like Baldur's Gate with a great news - this genre is not dead
"Absolutely!
Damn right", so I did my research and I want to present you a list of awesome upcoming
Classic Isometric RPG games which will enlighten our gaming path in 2019.
Iron Danger
Game is a Finnish folklore inspired story driven turn-based tactical RPG with, as we
can see, beautiful, but a bit claustrophobic environments.
Main protagonist is a women, probably meaning that you cannot create the character you want.
Well usually I would say that it's a bad thing, but after playing Witcher games I'm
not so sure about that, because you can make more realistic scenario if you know what you
are writing about.
But putting all this information aside it's kinda weird that this trailer focuses on some
beardy giant instead of main protagonist, which is a girl,right?
So it's a bit confusing.
What is the message?
"I don't understand.
Neither do I".
Iron Danger has one interesting mechanic to offer: you can rewind time and take another
patch of fighting or puzzle solving.
That would be really handy thing in a real life.
In example, if you drank a lot of vodka yesterday and today you realised that you had a bit
too many.
You have terrible headache, you're vomiting in the toilet, near toilet, on toilet door,
on your mother, it's a sad day for you.
But imagine if you could rewind your life to yesterday and instead of vomiting you could
drink all that vodka again.
Druidstone: The Secret of Menhir Forest
As we can see, game has wonderful graphics and really nice special effects.
Everything is OK in that front so let's dig deeper.
In the world of Druidstone the druids possess a great power: they can reincarnate.
Meaning that they can die and then return to the body of former self.
"I don't understand" Yes, that sounds complicated.
So, you are druid named Leonard, oh, wait.
Not Leonard, but Leonhard.
It's like a nickname for doing porn, right?
LeonHARD.
I can only imagine the meeting where the name was decided.
"I was thinking about the name.
How about Leonhard?"
"Isn't it a bit porn… ish?"
"Hmh… no" "Ok then".
Game promises challenging hand-crafted missions with playtimes from 15 to 45 minutes and unique
fantasy setting combining elements from western RPGS, JRPGS and tactical boardgames.
Druidstone will be released somewhere around spring of 2019.
Wasteland 3
Creators of Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenera are on a roll of releasing new
sequel of well known series.
It's gonna be a party-based role playing game with a focus on strategic combat and
complex story.
This time game will include environmental dangers, more fluid action system, vehicles
and also will support co-op mode.
Wasteland 3 will be set in the savage lands of frozen Colorado, where survival is difficult
and happy ending is never guaranteed.
Well, maybe except if your name is LeonHard.
Then you can get twice as many happy endings.
In Wasteland 3 you have to face difficult moral choices and make sacrifices that will
change the game world.
At the time of making this video Wasteland 3 had no exact release date announced, but
now it's known that you can play the game on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Black Geyser: Couriers of Darkness At the time of making this video Black Geyser
already had 100 000 dollars of pledges on Kickstarter, and more than doubled the amount
of money they asked for making this game a reality.
Inspired by Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and other classics, Black Geyser: is an isometric,
party-based, single-player RPG with some nice key features: You can have a party up to 5
characters with rich personalities and past, you can choose your own character from several
races and classes, you can pause the game at any time and freeroam across wilderness
and dungeons.

So when we can expect the birth of this game?

Encased
Another sci-fi post-apocalyptic isometric role playing game, heavily inspired by the
famous RPG's of late 90's.
Here player is a participant in project researching the technology and artifacts of long-gone
civilization.
So be prepared for dangerous anomalies and cool artifacts!
Like alien vodka making machine or potato salad generator from outer space.
Game is quite short, campaign will last about thirty hours, but creators say that Encased
will have significant replay potential, because world will change along with the actions you
do and the decisions you make.
If I were creator, I would say the same, but only time will tell if that's true.
Also, the game will take place in an open world, so you could go anywhere you want and
do anything you want.
"I'll CUM anywhere I want" Ok, chill out LeonHard, I doubt this will be a possibility,
but you never know, nowadays RPG's keeps surprising us.
So, anyway, in Encased when moving from one location to another, and traveling around
the world, random events can occur.
So game is quite dynamic and let's hope – not boring.
Early access will be available in the first quarter of 2019.
Realms Beyond
Creators have promised that the game will have complex turn-based combat system featuring
hundreds of spells, feats and actions.
Interesting thing that they have custom-built isometric graphics engine, that combines zoomable
2D and 3D technology which can bring to life extremely detailed and massive hand-crafted
levels.
As we can see from a trailer, game is truly beautiful and full of colors.
Creators said that here you can pick your character from 7 different races and 8 different
classes, completely customize their appearance, equipment and everything else.
Also game offers amazing opportunity to create your own adventures, campaigns or even entire
worlds."An almost godlike power".
Game will enter early access stage in late 2019.
