Since arriving in Hong Kong, these designers have had a jam packed schedule.

But now is the time they have probably all been dreading...

which is the judging.

I'm here at Asia's largest fashion event, Centrestage,

to catch up with judge, and Fashion Director of The R Collective, Denise Ho,

to find out what she is looking for in the winning collection.

So Denise, this is going to be the grand prize for our fashion designers,

to design a collection for you guys.

Yeah.

So what are you looking for from the designers?

We're not only looking for talent, we're actually looking for someone

who can transfer waste into something very relatable to fashion nowadays.

Have they done enough research to make sure the material they are using is

truly, truly good for the environment?

And I think that construction, for us, is very, very important.

Because, obviously, if it's not finished properly then your clothes will break

very easily and that means that it goes back to the bin again.

Joining Denise on the judging panel are

Clare Press, Sustainability Editor-at-Large for Vogue Australia

Roger Lee, CEO of TAL Group

And co-founder of Fashion Revolution and the queen of up-cycling - Orsola de Castro.

The opportunity to present in front of these amazing judges is an opportunity of a lifetime.

Just to be in a room with them is a humbling experience for me.

Super nervous, actually!

I feel weirdly calm.

So let's see how this goes.

I start marking on the side.

The judges give the designers scores based on creativity and originality,

sustainability, marketability and workmanship.

Okay beautiful, should we start?

My name is Tess Whitfort and my collection is called 'Juxt'.

I wanted to create something that's really different to what's often seen within sustainable fashion.

We were only given three minutes to pitch.

It really made you focus on, like, what's the most important parts.

For me, being a sustainable designer

means being a bit of a rebel and not being afraid to

sort of, break the mold and try new things.

By repurposing what the mainstream culture has disregarded

I wanted to find stuff that was easily accessible in thrift stores,

so, menswear shirts,

work wear,

tablecloths,

and so on.

The way that you chose your fabrics, in terms of up-cycling, is ideal.

You went where you knew you could find as much as you want. The way that you chose your fabrics, in terms of up-cycling, is ideal.

You went where you knew you could find as much as you want.

She went straight for the right fabric,

straight for the right uses for them,

but I didn't think that it was a fashion collection.

I thought her knits were great!

If it was just on sweaters...

...she'd win.

Lucia from Spain.

I thought she was delightful, what nice energy.

I liked the way she explained her vision.

I always try to show how I feel in my collection

and I started developing some different techniques

for showing my frustration with the fashion industry.

I made liquid silicone threads,

I also made origami pleats.

Some patch needle and hand-painting...

It felt very experimental.

Yeah.

And I used also asymmetric shapes

to show that I was feeling unbalanced.

There's a lot of tests going on, like she is trying this and trying that.

But then it was a really, really coherent collection. Nicely finished.

Me and the other judges definitely have different opinions.

While working on this I was inspired by the documentary 'Chasing Ice'

which is about the climate change.

I didn't really understand the concept.

I liked it.

So he had been inspired by collapsing ice shelves

and then his concept was about the collapsibility of the silhouettes.

I was able to manipulate faux fur from the curtains.

Oh, so you've made this faux fur effect from strips?

Yes.

That's interesting.

He was a great sewer.

Yeah.

What did you think about Sarah Jane?

I thought that Sarah Jane was also such a beautiful sewer and it was nice to see

and I did think she was a bit nervous.

I want to talk to you a little but about, erm...

the limitations that I've...

...that have inspired me to create this collection.

When I moved to Tokyo I lived in a tiny little shoe box.

So I started thinking about creating a capsule collection for...

Sorry, I...

I started think..oh, god.

Honestly,

Erm, I think I bombed it.

I'm really terrible, my nerves just get in the way.

Thank you, I think it's really polished and beautiful

and your make is so nice, well done.

Thank you.

Her skill as a craftsperson was the best.

I agree, I think it was lovely,

that it could do well in a little atelier.

Again, to me it didn't speak fashion enough.

Tess from Australia?

The look is not my look

but the depth of thinking, very deep.

This process is more about pushing the limits of zero-waste pattern cutting

and really seeing what I could achieve. This process is more about pushing the limits of zero-waste pattern cutting

and really seeing what I could achieve.

For my most complex garments I used conventional blocks and then

jigsawed all the pattern pieces together.

You scale this, it's going to cost you a bazillion million to sew it

because of how many pieces.

So what's your solution on that?

In terms of actual commercial production?

I really like the concept of looking into

using AI software programs that can really scale this

Okay.

And I've started discussing that with some people.

Her zero-waste technique is impeccable.

I've never seen it done that interestingly.

Do you feel like the technique has gone deeper than before?

Totally, completely.

I recycle, like, bridal wear

and also the obi and kimonos.

I used tree bark.

It's called 'bark lace'.

I used tree bark as a raw material.

Through repeated hammering to stretch the fibers

we can get a very beautiful and natural lace look...

...bark fabric.

The bark lace was innovative.

I admire the fact that he'd used different sustainable techniques and fabrics.

He was consistent. I admire the fact that he'd used different sustainable techniques and fabrics.

He was consistent.

Ganit from Israel...

My project started from the old shredding machine

I found in my father's garage.

I am taking the fabrics that no one will use again

and turning it into a raw material

that I can make into new textiles.

Have you considered how your client will be taking care of these pieces?

Erm...

Have you washed them yourself?

Not yet.

So you have to have all of the information

for the aftercare of the garment that you are producing.

The pre-judging, it was hard actually.

What are the sustainable properties of liquid silicone?

Why did you choose it? How would you care for it?

Okay, there are many kinds of silicone...erm...

Mostly...

I wasn't expecting that hard questions, for example.

Have you thought about the weight of the garment?

When someone wears it?

How will you grade this?

What about these materials, what's their origin?

Sorry...

The yarn from the knitwear, this is 100% recycled plastic bottles.

And I did the knitwear fully fashioning to shape...

Sorry which one is the plastic bottles?

So this is made from 100% recycled plastic bottles.

I'm really, really sorry but anything made out of plastic

has such a negative environmental impact

as soon as you attempt to wash it.

It essentially reacts like a polyester, so it's easy care.

I know, when you wash polyester

it sheds millions of microfibers into the ocean.

You can also get guppy bags in order to like...

Guppy bags are not effective anymore.

For me, there is a fundamental lack of research problem.

In general, they all lacked a lot of research I found.

But I liked her way of pushing limits a little bit more than other people did.

I created this very heavy lace

from the very tiny pieces that I couldn't use for anything else.

How long did it take you to make this?

About two weeks.

Design wise, the first piece that took her two weeks was beautiful.

I wouldn't say what I have now is a solution.

But let's keep learning from our mistakes and keep going.

It can be a little bit overwhelming

being a sustainable fashion designer, definitely.

Especially as we create more solutions

they often seem to like, create new issues.

Not one person has the right answer.

The only way that we can achieve

some sort of change is if we learn from one another.

I spent the last two years living in between

the UK and a factory in Shanghai

to try and understand further the manufacturing process.

That was a really interesting experience

and it's really informed the way I've approached design going forward.

For this collection I used nylon for the project.

I thought that Lynsey did some interesting things

when it came to the up-cycling of stockings and tights.

We know that's a big waste stream.

But knit on the body...

...whether it's nylon or not

knit doesn't sit.

That's a collection that doesn't take into consideration

the physicality of the person that's going to wear it underneath it.

I wanted to create sustainable fashion

that a consumer would genuinely want to buy

and be encouraged to reuse.

I did get the impression that this woman knows her customer

and she designed for her customer.

Did you say these pants are reversible?

Yes, these pants are the same pattern as this.

Oh, reversible as in you can wear it front and back?

Yes, like this one so you can...

I found her to be a very good candidate

because I feel like her stuff is commercialised a little bit

but it's very, very beautiful as a collection.

Going back to Tess,

does she have the versatility to design something different?

I don't think so.

That's a concern.

I think that's what she does.

Actually, R Collective is getting into zero-waste

so that could be interesting for us.

How about Jesse from Hong Kong?

I love Jesse from Hong Kong!

In this collection, I use collected objects

like curtains,

and shopping bags,

umbrellas,

it's all from my home.

And I transform them into pieces with added sentimental value.

This is umbrellas?

Yes.

This is interesting, this can go round and round.

That's my favourite use of umbrella.

The socks...

Socks?

Is it?

It's all the socks from my grandma and my mum and cousins.

The socks?

Socks was...completely brilliant!

With visible darning being one of the coolest things in the world.

Is it he just stumbled upon waste and he figured out how to use it?

Or he really understood? Is it he just stumbled upon waste and he figured out how to use it?

Or he really understood?

The only way that you can really understand waste

is if you have the instinct

of knowing what to do with it when you stumble upon it.

Okay.

He's got potential.

Thank you.

Thank you so much, thank you.

It's so hard isn't it.

I guess, you know, the good thing is

It does change when you see them

really worn and on the runway.

To see them move. really worn and on the runway.

To see them move.

Yeah.

Can't wait!

Me too.

In the next episode of Frontline Fashion

It's show time!

The designers hopes and dreams will walk down the runway

at the Redress Design Award Grand Final.

Seeing my designs on the runway

It's insane, I mean who does this?

and the judges reveal who wowed them to win first place.

Meghan Fashion - ROYAL OUTRAGE at Prince Philip's 'appalling special treatment' after Sandringham c - Duration: 3:38.

The Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a horrific crash last week on the Sandringham Estate as he collided with a car containing three passengers

Prince Philip crashed into a car containing two women and a nine-month-old baby. The impact of the collision resulted in the driver, Emma Fairweather, breaking her wrist

Just a few days after the crash, the Duke was pictured driving without a seatbelt, which has enraged factions of the public

Graham Smith, CEO of Republic said: "This isn't special treatment because of his age, it's special treatment because of his status

"Two women and a child could have lost their lives this week, they're lucky to have gotten away with relatively minor injuries

"Yet Prince Philip will face no consequences. READ MORE: Prince Philip crash: Shock footage of 1964 crash REVEALED "This simply wouldn't happen if it were anyone else at the wheel, regardless of their age

"So the police need to be challenged on their leniency towards the Royals." Following the incident, Norfolk Police commented they had given "suitable words of advice" to the Duke

The recent crash has awakened a debate about whether the Duke, 97, should even be behind the wheel of a car

READ MORE: Royal FEUD: How Prince Philip 'made Prince Charles CRY' Crash victim, Ms Fairweather, 46, also added that she is still yet to receive an apology from the Duke although the Queen's lady in waiting has reached out

Mary Morrison sent well wishes to Ms Fairweather but despite that, the 46-year-old insisted the Duke should not be allowed back on the road as she spoke of the "traumatic and painful time"

Mr Smith also concluded: "Three years ago it was Thames Valley Police turning a blind eye to deliberate damage of property by Prince Andrew when he drove his vehicle into gates in Windsor

"Now a much more serious incident is treated with the same indifference. "The lack of apparent concern from the Royals has come to be expected, but the police have a duty to protect the whole community without prejudice

"All police forces must treat everyone equally, giving someone an easy time because of his family connections is appalling

"I'll be writing to the relevant authorities, including the Home Secretary, to raise this matter and push for a police re-think on their attitude to the Royals

" Buckingham Palace said last week contact had been made "privately" with the people in the other car "and well wishes exchanged"

Meghan Fashion - Suits season 8, episode 11 release date: When will Suits return? - Duration: 6:08.

Suits season nine is confirmed to be the final run of the legal drama after more than a decade on screens

The USA Network recently confirmed the news in a release. Suits may be coming to an end but fans still have the second half of season eight to look forward to as well as the whole of the final run, which is expected to debut later this year

When will Suits season 8, episode 11 be released? Suits season eight, episode 11 aired on The USA Network in America on Wednesday, January 23, 2019

Netflix then dropped the episode for UK fans at 8am on Thursday, January 24. The series went on a midseason break in September 2019 following the broadcast of episode 10 titled Managing Partner

The USA Network legal drama was then off screens for several months with filming continuing on the second half of the run

The USA Network has yet to share a return date and is likely to do so next year

Each episode will air in America first and then be available the following day on Netflix UK for British fans from 8am

Once again, it's likely that the midseason finale will finish on a cliffhanger much like the seventh cycle's Donna, which saw the firm's COO (played by Sarah Rafferty) locked in a kiss with attorney Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht)

This year it looks like the midseason finale will see discord as there's a battle to become a named partner at the firm

Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl) will be fighting Alex Williams (Dulé Hill) tooth and nail for her name on the sign

However, fans are likely to be left on the edge of their seats with the winner set to be revealed next year

HOW MANY EPISODES ARE IN SUITS SEASON 8?What will happen in Suits season 8, episode 11? The central conflict will involve who will be named partner at the firm, which will have ramifications on all the characters - especially whoever is the loser

Leaving the big plot line to one side, Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) and his continuing insecurity issues will have a part to play in the second half of the run

Meanwhile, fans of Donna and Harvey - fondly known as Darvey - will be holding out hope that they will finally get together after nearly a decade of their will they/won't they chemistry simmering away

Korsh recently addressed the romance after one fan asked: "Wish you could just decide if you want them together or not

HOW TO WATCH SUITS SEASON 8 ONLINE "I feel like you use darvey a lot because we are a huge part of the audience

Just want you to decide for good and be honest like: forget this s**t. "Keep giving us hope and we keep waiting for something impossible ZzzZzz

" Korsh answered: "That was not a lie. More was Mike's vows over D/H walking the aisle

Meant 2b nod 2fans that backfired b/c I honestly c things differently [sic]." Season eight proved to be quite a shift for Suits following the exit of Patrick J

Adams, who portrayed genius conman-turned-attorney Mike Ross and Meghan Markle as Rachel Zane

Suits, which hinged on the central buddy friendship between Mike and Harvey, had something of a reboot this year which saw the introduction of Samantha

Previously speaking about joining Suits, Heigl told Harper's Bazaar that her character Samantha was something of a surrogate daughter figure

WHERE IS SUITS SEASON 8 FILMED? She went on to tease about her character: "I don't know where [Sam's] storyline is going beyond the basics, and beyond the overarching goal that she wants to be a named partner, she wants her name on the wall

"I'll be interested to see what relationships she's going to form, and if there's going to be a real emotional connection between her and anyone aside from Robert

"I think so far she has a connection with Louis, because I think she gets him, and she appreciates that his craziness is what makes him so good

"Beyond that, I think the question is very much whether Sam is going to be a friend or a foe to the firm

" She added: "Can she be trusted, or do they need to get rid of her?" Suits season 8 will air on Netflix on Thursdays at 8am

WINTER FASHION HAUL & WHAT I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS | High Street and & Designer Fashion | JASMINA PURI - Duration: 24:40.

everyone and welcome to my channel thank you so much for tuning in and today I

have for you a video that I've seen so many people do and I love watching these

videos and so what I got for Christmas video I have a few things in there which

I purchased for myself over Christmas but also lots of gifts that I got from

friends and family so I really do hope you enjoy the video but without further

ado let's get straight into this one but before that don't forget to hit that

subscribe button I have a new video every week and I would love to have you

here on the channel I know a lot of you watching without subscribing but it

would really honestly mean the world to me if you subscribe and also be hit that

little Bell button it will get a notification every time I play a new

video and also please follow me on Instagram

I will leave my username on the screen now it's at Jasmine Emporia but please

please follow me on there I know a lot of you have been unfortunately

unsubscribed because it's gonna glitch on Instagram so check out my profile

make sure you still follow me on there so you can see all my pictures on my

knees Vita and also my stories because I put a lot of wishlist items and cooking

stuff in there some recipes so please do follow me on there but without having to

eat let's get straight into this video

okay so starting off with a couple of bits that I actually got for myself very

very affordable bits from H&M and it is these really beautiful

tram soles I am gonna be trying everything on so you guys can see it but

I got these and I got it in this sort of greenish ivory color and I also got it

in a black they are really beautiful do you have these Arab straps which you can

adjust which is really nice because that means that you know if you are a little

bit shorter like me sometimes straps can be too long so it's nice that you can

adjust them and it is really small and dainty so you can't really see it very

much I really like the lace detail on the front I think it makes it look so

much more expensive and I love these consoles to layer them underneath places

you guys know I have my tux blazer from theory which isn't like a cream I

recolor and at that time when I wore it for the party that I bought it for I was

desperately looking for something like this but I could only find these lacy

ones in expensive brands and they would be like you know 150 pounds and I was

really thinking you know like I really can't justify spending 150 pounds on

something like this so these are really nice they're not real silk but they have

a really beautiful texture the ivory one I have to say it feels a bit more kind

of flimsy but the black one has a really lovely quality this happened to me with

ones that I bought from Zara a couple of years ago the black one is amazing

quality and I bought like a nudie color one and that one was really flimsy I

don't know why it is that the black ones are just better quality black but just

feels a little bit thicker but they do you feel really nice it definitely feels

like a satin it's really nice I really love the lace the lace doesn't look

really bad quality it looks quite sturdy and very dainty at the same time but it

does it'll have like threads coming out which I know with like you know stuff

that sort of fast fashion sometimes you can have really bad quality lace and it

does look really the threads can just be like pulling out and everything so this

one seems a really good quality I love the far foot it's a bit of a V on

the front I think it's really nice I think that silhouette really suits my

body and I really like it with Blazers because I like the fact that it's a

little bit of a V it does have the lace going all around the back as well so if

you are gonna wear it you know just on its own without

anything on top I think it also makes it look really nice you can also layer this

over a t-shirt which I know is really on trend this year it's not really my style

but I have to get a lot of people wearing it and yeah they're just really

lovely and a really good basic that I think is so best how and definitely a

must-have in everyone's order another bet I got from the high street is this

address over here from Zara it is a little bit big on me I have tried it on

and unfortunately this is the smaller size I think I went oh it is an extra

small it has meant to be oversized but I really think that it was a little bit

more kind of straightly fitted for me and not so baggy it would look better on

me I also feel like because I'm not very tall it does look slightly wrong I would

like it to be slightly shorter so I am going to shorten the hemline a little

bit and I am gonna get it tailored a little bit but I'm looking for a good

tailor if you do know of any good affordable tailors here in New York do

let me know in the comments down below because I am looking for someone to help

me alter this it definitely looks a lot more higher than it is I got it here in

the US and it was 49 90s basically $50 but I know that in the UK and in Europe

it's probably cheaper cuz there is a little bit more expensive here but

really a gorgeous piece I really like it it does have this pleating detail on the

kind of bottom third of the drafts which i think is so nice and what makes it

look so sophisticated it is flat on the front which I really like because

sometimes when they have pleating on the front they can just kind of pop out in a

weird way so this one's like flat in the center of the back in the center of the

front but it's got a really beautiful silhouette and it has these light breeds

which is so on-trend I like the fact that it has the sleeve which is sort of

kind of mid arm I think it makes it look so sophisticated if you are like me and

you have small shoulders and you want to build it out a little so that your

silhouette looks a little bit more balanced I think adding some really

small shoulder pads can definitely help the silhouette I am wearing some here in

the cutaways because it just makes it look so much more sophisticated I think

this looks amazing with like tiny boots but I think over the spring and autumn

hands or silica mazing with flat shoes and I

think my georgette your flats would look amazing with this I'm so sophisticated

and with like a little dated your bag I think I would look like the perfect your

app module if you want to sign me onto your please call me I would love to be

sponsored by them but unfortunately I'm not but yeah I think it's just such a

great piece moving now on to jumpers you guys know I absolutely love you know

short sleeve jumpers and something I got over Christmas from my family was at

this jompa this from a Spanish designer

called Holly Zamora and I absolutely love his stuff sometimes his stuff can

be very plain and basic and a little bit more runny ish but sometimes you do get

these amazing pieces this one is really beautiful it has this front which is in

a tweed and it has all these colors you knew I never usually go for colorful

stuff but I really wanted to make an exception like this one because I really

like it and I think because it's mixed in with a beige it looks a bit more

subtle and it lots of different stuff I love the least threatening at the bottom

I think it gives it a very Chanel feel because it has so many colors I feel

like it goes with so many different things and then I really like the mid

back and the knit sleeves which make it into more of like a sweater sometimes I

feel like the front can look a little bit stiff but overall I really like and

I really like this neckline very flattering great to like layer and

jackets but also to wear it on its own I think in the spring months but is like a

pair of white plaid says it'll look really cool but yeah I'm so happy with

this one and I also think that it looks really nice if you layer it with a shirt

because it has shorter sleeves if you want to wear it in the winter I think

you can definitely aren't Popish and leave

let the sleeves show and it would look really chic another bit I got over

Christmas was this jumper and this one and my mum got me it wasn't a planned

present we went to century 21 you guys I've never heard of century 21 it is

like an outlet sort of discount store here in New York as a few of them I went

to the one in downtown which is the biggest and it is definitely a huge

place where you have to go and like you know spend your time and hunt around but

you can't get some real gem there we weren't we spent about three hours I

think just walking around browsing and when you go to those sort of places it's

a bit like best a village in the UK I think you need to go with like nothing

set in mind just kind of like browse around if you find something amazing

just get it but you can't really go with like a fixed idea of I'm looking for

this because you're not likely to find what you're looking for and you will

probably find unexpected stuff so this chopper was one of those finds it was

originally um $800 which I think it's quite a lot for an it but it is from

Russia's Paris this brand it does a lot of what to catch here I feel like not

enough people talk about it but they do have some really really fancy stuff and

I caught it for one hundred and twenty four dollars so it was 84 percent off

which is a real bargain I love that it has this coin blue color I think it's so

such a beautiful color and something you don't normally go for but even though

it's blue I think because it's got like a little bit of a grayish undertone it

still feels quite neutral again it's this short sleeve jumper I love that

it's a little bit tighter here so it gives it a little bit of a puff on the

shoulder it has this beautiful laser-cut detail around here on the sleeves I

don't know how well the camera is picking that up but it's really gorgeous

and it's a really nice detail it has a crewneck but it's not too tight on the

neck and then I really like the fact that it has this hemline which is like a

little bit of a more on the back and a little bit shorter on the front with

this little cutout in the middle I think that gives it a bit more of like a young

sexy vibe if you're wanting a waist of trousers you'll probably be able to see

a little bit of skin on the side but I think usually these kind of jumpers with

the shortest keys were very like kind of preppy style and they were associated

with kind of older women's wear but I think this one has a very young vibe to

it very flattering it has a silk blend so it is super soft very very finely

knit which means that it's like really nice and flattering I think it'll look

amazing under a blazer if you want to wear it with formal to make me work or

something like that but it can also look really nice with like a pair of leather

trousers if you want to give it a more casual vibe and I think in a springtime

of the world white plaid says it is going to look fabulous and I also can't

wait to wear it with my Balmain tweed shorts because they sort of have some

threads in this color and I think together it's going to

look really nice and super super chic so I can't wait to work with that and yeah

I'm totally in love with this one and it was a real true find staying on the

topic of jumpers I have this one that my husband gave me for Christmas and it is

from a brand called either a zombie I recently discovered them they have some

really gorgeous gorgeous pieces they retail through their own website they

also have them stopped in Saks here in the UK in the u.s. sorry and they also

have them in Harvey Nichols and in Harrods in London but like I said you

can't get it online and you can get them through far fetch as well their stuff is

absolutely gorgeous they have the best jumpers I find that I love knits for the

winter just because they're so comfy they're so cozy they're probably the

best thing to wear you can throw them on over a pair of trousers with a skirt and

I just find out where so much knitwear but sometimes I find it like it's really

boring my all knitwear sort of looks the same to me sometimes but they really

have given it an edge I love these fre sleeves these ones

aren't sort of a mix of black and like a creamy beige they are so gorgeous

I actually initially saw this jump up on Olivia Palermo which if you guys know is

my absolute style icon she was wearing it in black and then I found it in this

burgundy color it has a cashmere blend so it's really soft and my skin is

really sensitive but I don't find it itchy which is a real achievement for me

so that's really nice it has a crew neck but it's sort of like a relaxed crew

it's not too tight it is kind of a slouchy oversized of it which I find so

so flattering I will insert some pictures also on-screen now I have

posted some on Instagram and you guys absolutely loved it I love the fact that

it has like a shorter hemline again on the front and a bit longer on the back I

think it makes it really cool and young and trendy and yeah it's just so nice

and I love this burgundy color I do think they do it in like a corally pink

as well and they do have other ones which instead of like these ones which

is so like long hairs do you have like a more of a kind of shorter haircut and

it's really nice and again and they also have some

and stuff I I definitely am gonna be getting more stuff from this Brian

because I absolutely loved their style but yeah such a gorgeous piece and again

I think it makes it so dressy you can easily wear this on a night out with a

pair of leather trousers and some stilettos and it could look so cool and

so trendy and at the same time you're warm but it also feels so dressy because

of this detail so I'm over the moon with us when I think I'm gonna wear it in so

many ways yeah I can't wait to get more stuff from the brand moving now on to

coats I have us a special piece from this

Christmas which was a kind of Christmas gift slash 30th birthday gift from my

parents and this was a really special place a huge investment piece but it was

so gorgeous it has sort of these like layers I don't know how to describe it

very well but it has like a tiers that's what I wanted to say it has like tiers

which makes it really modern and trendy I feel like these kind of coats can

sometimes be you're ganna say seated with like you know an older lady style

but this one is definitely very young and vibrant I love the fact that it's in

like a light gray I think it's such a flattering color it has I'm gonna insert

some cutaways here so that you guys can see cuz me holding it up makes it really

difficult but it has a really beautiful chimney neckline which is really nice

it's not gonna all the way up but it does keep you really warm in it if it's

not too windy you can get away with not wearing a scarf I love it with like a

pony neck underneath but it also looks great just you know on its own or with a

scarf underneath you can leave it open as well and wear a scarf that's one kind

of long like this if you like that style better I did post a picture on Instagram

and you guys asked me so many questions about this coat it is really a gorgeous

piece my parents got it from a designer in Spain called Carmen bought hush she

has a boutique there she only retails there I don't think

they sell online if you are visiting Madrid I would definitely recommend you

go there and you say that I recommended it and you know she's really lovely and

she knows me really well so you know if you are amateur definitely pop over they

have some really beautiful stunning pieces all my best is also from there I

have like a navy blue one you guys have seen and like a brown very coat as well

so it's all from her but I have only very very similar piece of a brown berry

I'm gonna talk to you very briefly in and it's called lishka I will link it

down below that stuff is also amazing quality and they do retail and far fetch

so you can get that stuff online I also love the fact that it has kind of a cape

as your silhouettes at the back which means that you can also wear this coat

with a belt and it looks really flattering and also this leaves you

can't fault them up if you want to show off some gloves maybe but you can also

leave them down and looks more casual I prefer them down I think it gives it a

more of a young buy but if you do want to really dress it up I think folding

them up and having them kind of in the middle of your forearm also it looks

really nice so I think a piece that would flatter lots of different body

types and I like the fact that it's not too long it is kind of about this much

over my knee even for me that I'm not very tall obviously you can get these

pieces altered as well but for me I really like that length because it means

anyone want to work with jeans and a pair of trainers is casual enough but I

can also read dress it up and wear it would like a skirt or a dress and some

heels if I want to wear it on a night out another coat probably this brand I

was coming to you about lishka this was a gift that again I gave it to myself

over Christmas I had bought quite a few things for myself but this coat I got

when I made what I planned on getting when I moved here to the US cuz everyone

told me the winters were gonna be so so so cold and that I was gonna need it

something that was really warm and you know that was gonna keep me properly all

over the winter months so I wanted to go for a puffer jacket and I did look at

stuff from Montclair and other brands like that but I did find that you know

for spending 1200 1500 even 2000 dollars in some cases I did find their designs

were really kind of brave like I just thought the special thing about it was

that it said Montclair and that obviously it was really warm but I found

that a lot of brands are very very similar designs I wasn't between one

from Micajah and the one I got if you haven't heard of my couch I will link

that down below they do you have any beautiful pop coats as well I wanted

something that was definitely down because I wanted something that was

gonna be pretty really warm because I naturally am a person who always feels

very cold so I feel it's something that was gonna keep me really warm but I do

find with a lot of these down puffer jackets they can look a little bit

overwhelming and I am poteete so they can't overpower my frame

and make me look like I'm sort of lost in this huge jacket so I wanted

something with a belt ideally because I did want a long puffer jacket that was

gonna reach almost to my knees that it would really keep me because sometimes

with jeans I can make my legs do you feel really cold so yeah when I found

this one online I was over the moon I got it on sale and I got it for nine

hundred dollars which was a great deal because I think that was like 40% off or

something like that I love the fact that it is blue it's long it keeps me warm I

love the belt it has a golden detail at the front and

you guys know I'm obsessed with gold but yeah it just I just find it so

flattering so cute I really liked the Far around the hood it has a big hood

which is really nice but when it's snowing

raining it'll keep me really warm and then at the front and the back has these

furry detail which is so nice and then the elasticated belt I feel like it

looks really young and modern it is very similar to one that I spotted on Olivia

Palermo I will insert a picture on the screen and back if I can find it but

this one is really similar but it was at a fraction of the price of that one that

one I think was almost 5000 pounds it was from a British brand called

Caramella and this one is very very similar but at a much more reasonable

price and I also really liked the fact that it had the belt there

my only gripe with a brand snob gripe with the brown but the smaller size is

like a 42 Italian which for me was like about three sizes too big for me they do

run a little bit small so I did feel but it wasn't let definitely one extra size

for me but they have opened a showroom in New York and they very very nicely

got it altered for me the customer service is amazing I got a personalized

note when I ordered from far fetch it did say on Farfetch'd so they didn't

ship to the UK so I contact them didn't directly and they said there was no

problem they shipped to the US sorry I think I said you came before and they

don't ship to the US on farfetched but they actually do so if you have any

problems and you're based in the u.s. just send them a quick email and Aaron

who is the owner was so so lovely go back to me immediately and they have

some really or just pieces the quality is amazing it

came in this beautiful dust bag the packaging was great their customer

service was amazing I got it altered here in the US and now it looks

absolutely perfect for me I got it shortened a little bit because I'm not

too tall and I also got it taken in at the waist because obviously I am you

know a smaller size so they did take it in for me and it's just been a seamless

process so good and I'm over the moon with it and it is so so so warm I think

the best I think I've been bested in or winter another really really special

gift I got this year from my in-laws which was again a 30th slash Christmas

present gift was this stunning diamond bracelet it's a tennis bracelet I got it

in a marquise cut and it is just so gorgeous I love to layer this with my

watch I think it looks so gorgeous together I will do some close-ups now so

you guys can see but it's just such a gorgeous piece I absolutely love it and

you know it's such a special thing that I think I'll cherish for life and

probably pass them to my children it has like I said a marquise cut it's a very a

simple design but very beautiful again timeless completely elegant and I'm

absolutely over the moon with this because I wanted to tennis bracelet for

a long time say this one is gorgeous and I love to wear it on its own

layered with other bracelets or like I said with the watch I think it's

probably my favorite next up is this beautiful scarf I got it's in like a

black and a light gray it is honestly it's so nice and it's like a stole and

basically it's kind of stretchy and I really really love this one it is so

snuggly and so warm and I love the fact that it's super versatile as you'll be

able to see now I am wearing it as a stole to jazz up this jumper I really

like the style I thought this was so nice I'm just wearing a jumper by

dragonburn really fitted jumper something quite basic and then I've just

popped this on over the top and I just think it gives it such a glamorous vibe

you know just at the store over the top of the jumper you know making it so much

more space and I think it's so nice that you can

you know pop it over different ones and just give it a completely different look

and because it has quite neutral colors I think it works so well I also like the

fact that it gives you a little bit of volume on one shoulder and it just sort

of makes you look a little bit wider for people like me that are very narrow on

the shoulders you can also wear it as a normal scarf it's really warm and

snuggly and I think it just makes a coat look so much more glamorous and I also

love the fact that you can wear it over your shoulders like I'm showing you here

I think this would look amazing if you have like an off shoulder jumper that

you know was it was kind of showing off your shoulders and I think this would

just give it such a glam vibe I really want to try and find one to try it out

but this was such a special gift my parents gave this to me with my coat and

it's from the same designer cutter mombasa and it's just so so lovely I

will try and see if I can find a similar one to link down below because she

doesn't meet online but I know lishka the brand I mentioned earlier has very

similar pieces and they are also gorgeous and then something that I

actually bought myself is this little sort of hairband that I bought and I

featured it in my last vlog I will link that on the screen now and 70 of you

commented on it because I don't normally wear hat I'm really not a hat person

they usually really really really bother me but since I moved here I suffered

from really sensitive ears and I find that the cold just made them really sore

and they actually hurt when the wind was blowing into them so I had to find

something to cover them up and this was perfect because it doesn't kind of press

my head on the top I got it at Saks and it is just so cute I'm gonna try and put

it on and show you so as you can see it is super cute it

covers my ears completely it's elasticated and it's not too hard so you

don't feel like your head is getting pressed which is something I find a lot

of hats do and I find it really uncomfortable you can actually see my

hair over the top which is nice because I find with a lot of hats they just kind

of put your head on and you guys know I love my hair with loads of volume so I

absolutely hate when that happens and then run the back it's a little bit

thinner it's really comfortable I really like that it's kind of a gray and a

black mix it is so nice and so soft and you know I just think it looks really

cute and it was a good way to cover my ears without having to wear a hat and

finally for this whore these boots from aqua Zara I am over the moon with these

I had such a hard time getting them they were a gift from my husband and also

from Christmas and I've had such a hard time getting my hands on these they have

a high heel for me this is an 8 and 1/2 centimeter heel which I thought I will

be able to walk a very long but they are so surprisingly comfortable that I have

walked in these three hours which for me is completely unheard of it is a block

heel but it is quite hard for me but they are so comfortable guys after three

hours I didn't even have any like foot pain or back pain I wasn't tired I mean

I was a little bit tired of a height but there was absolutely no pain they are so

comfortable I love the fact that it's got like this kind of almond a little

bit rounded toe I don't like the one that you square and I do like the moment

to point just that's a little bit rounded they are in calfskin I got them

in the black they do have them in beautiful kind of like a snake sort of

printed Ascar skin but they do have like a snake print and they have them in like

a burgundy color and a green and a pale pink

I think the burgundy ones are stunning but I just really wanted a pair of black

boots so I'm glad I found the black ones um anyway guys that was it for me I hope

you enjoyed seeing what I got for Christmas do you let me know what has

Meghan Fashion - Royal SNUB: Prince Philip's sisters BANNED from royal wedding for SHOCKING reason - Duration: 3:23.

The royal couple's blissful marriage has gone from strength to strength over 72 years, which has seen Elizabeth transform from Princess to Queen, have four children, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren

When the monarch's father King George VI gave his blessing for the couple's marriage in 1946, Prince Philip admitted he had "fallen in love completely and unreservedly"

The Duke of Edinburgh proposed to the Queen with a three-carat round diamond ring consisting of "a centre stone flanked by 10 smaller pave diamonds"

The nation tuned into to the radio broadcast of their wedding in 1947, but according to 2016 documentary "Prince Philip – A King Among Princes" there were some "hiccups along the way" on the big day

Author Gyles Brandreth claimed Prince Philip's sisters were not invited to the wedding for a shocking reason

He explained: "The time of the wedding of Princess Elizabeth and Prince Philip his sisters were not invited

"Simply because they were Germans, living in Germany with German husbands.  "One of whom was still going through the denazification process

"So you know, they had to be careful." Prince Philip was born in 1921 to Prince Andrew of Greece and Princess Alice of Battenberg and had four older sisters — Princesses Margarita, Theodora, Cecilie, and Sophie

A year after Philip's birth, the monarchy in Greece fell and his family sadly broke up

The Duke of Edinburgh was was sento to a boarding school in England, Princess Alice was diagnosed with schizophrenia and committed to an asylum, his father took up residence in Monte Carlo with his mistress, and three of Philip's sisters, Margarita, Cecile and Sophie, married German aristocrats who filled senior positions in the Nazi party

The youngest of Prince Philip's sister actually named her oldest son Karl Adolf after the German dictator

Sophie, who was married to Prince Christoph von Hessen, admitted that she was initially charmed by Hitler after they had a private lunch

She wrote in her memoir: "I have to say here, that, although Chri [Prince Christoph] and I changed our political view fundamentally some years later, we were impressed by this charming and seemingly modest man, and by his plans to change and improve the situation in Germany

The Most Glamourous Gowns At Couture Fashion Week - Duration: 1:28.

The Most Glamourous Gowns At Couture Fashion Week

Olivia is the executive fashion news editor of British Vogue

During a time when the world appears to be crumbling around us, the realm of couture can offer a fantastical respite from reality: an unabashed celebration of fashions most intricate techniques, of ornate embellishments and majestic gowns. Here is a sanctuary reserved for the most indulgent sort of artifice, the most storied ateliers, the most monied audiences – and, while the culture it inhabits might evolve, this world retains a peculiar timelessness, its patrons immunised against political or economic downturns, its aesthetic eternally opulent.

Thats not to say that some of the collections this week havent been underscored by distinctly modern values – most notably s remarkable reframing of the couture clientele at , which starred a diverse cast of models dressed in his spectacular designs. You always saw white women in the centre and black women on the side… I wanted to put black women in the centre, he explained of his decision. I like classic couture, I dont like modernism in couture. So, in order to change couture, you change the meaning of it and not the codes. By marrying the most audacious femininity with contemporary values, he gracefully evolved its historical exclusion to reflect a new reality.

Another explicit reflection of coutures shift was found at , where meme culture was offset against laser cut layers of tulle: Insta friendly slogans appliquéd atop overblown gowns ironically, s Artisanal collection, presented several hours earlier, contemplated the excess, the artifice and then the decay of the digital age . At , exquisite engineering was layered atop latex; enormous bows mutated into couture grade backpacks. I tried to take the most modern approach possible with everything, said .

We are living in a decadent time, explained s to Vogue in a preview. We have to understand that our world is finished, because we were born in another time of fashion, when the world was more simple… [now] we have to think about fashion in a different way. Its exciting. The theme she adopted for her collections narrative perhaps presented the most apt analogy for the season: the circus, both its extravagant aesthetics and its underlying darkness. While these gowns might maintain the same impact as in decades past, the context they exist within has radically shifted and their fairytale splendour now appears politicised. In 2019, even this extreme glamour can adopt a subversive quality.
