You need is a zipper foot the right length zipper and sewing essentials

A welt zip is ideal for dresses and skirts and can also be used as a pocket

So we're just about to get started, make sure that your seam allowance is at least 1.5 centimeters or 5/8 of an inch

12 Weird Fashion Moments from 2017 That Made Us Say, "Wait, What?"

Fashion-wise, 2017 had a lot of highs.

It was a year in which there was more diversity on the runway, a year when designers used their platforms to make powerful political statements, and a year that included more body type inclusivity.

But it was also a year in which Crocs made (another) comeback, toilet paper passed for a purse, and thong jeans happened.

Keep scrolling for the years downright weirdest fashion moments.

1. Agatha Ruizs Donut Dress

When youre hungry and also dont know what to wear, just put on these giant f*cking donuts, as demonstrated by designer Agatha Ruiz De La Prada.

The OTT dessert dress made its way down the runway in February at Madrid Fashion Week.

2. Moschinos Toilet Paper Purse

The theme for Moschinos Fall/Winter 2017 show in February was literally garbage.

Models walked down the runway in cardboard box getups, feather-duster headpieces, and toilet-paper purses.

Fashion!.

3. Moschinos Dry Cleaning Bag Dress

Surprise! Another hit from Moschino.

The designers dry-cleaning bag dress first appeared in its runway show in February and became available for purchase in November.

Ironically, the care instructions for the $700 plastic garment state: Do not wash/Do not dry clean..

4. Topshops Clear Jeans

Clear fashion was really in this year for reasons I cant begin to fathom.

First, Topshop released clear knee jeans in March — and then, a month later, it went a step further by making pants entirely plastic.

5. Balenciagas IKEA Bag

The Balenciaga bag that sparked a thousand tweets first appeared in the brands Spring/Summer '17 menswear runway in July 2016, but it didnt go viral until April.

This spin on the iconic blue 99-cent IKEA tote could be yours for only $2,145! Almost as funny as the tote itself was IKEAs epic response.

6. Vetements Zipper Butt Jeans

In April, Vetements teased its collab with Levis and came up with these pants just perfect for mooning!!! And thats all, folks.

7. The RompHim

Male rompers (or RompHims) probably started out as a good idea.

The people behind it were so passionate that they even launched a Kickstarter in May to raise funding for what essentially are male onesies.

The designs went viral almost instantly and even were referenced on SNLs Weekend Update and Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

8. Saint Laurents Roller Skate Heels

Because high heels arent already hard enough to walk in, Saint Laurent decided to add WHEELS so you could be the most stylish skater at the roller disco.

Designed by creative director Anthony Vaccarello, the shoes debuted in August for $1,995.

9. Guccis Latex Socks

Gucci introduced latex sock high heels in its Spring/Summer 17 show in September 2016, really going all-in on this niche market.

They finally became available for purchase at luxury retailers in Spring 2017 for almost $1,400.

10. Balenciagas Platform Crocs

If someone told me a couple of years ago that Crocs would, one day, be considered high fashion, I wouldve laughed.

But here we are! Christopher Kane included gem-adorned versions in his 2016 show, and then, in September, Balenciaga debuted its own take, which involved sky-high platforms.

11. Thong Jeans

These were the thong jeans heard round the world when they debuted at Tokyo Fashion Week in October.

Sure, theyre breezy.

Practical? Not so much.

12. Halloween Costume Thong Jeans

To make matters worse, this thong jean Halloween costume popped up on the Internet.

Leave it to Yandy to jump on a viral trend and turn it into a costume.

MY FIRST HAUL (WINTER EDITION) - fashion & lifestyle - Duration: 8:52.

I've considered making videos for quite some time, and that's exactly what I'm doing now

And now, let's just go ahead and jump right into this video.

Today I have a winter haul ready for you guys - some different stuff I've purchased lately

and furthermore I want to show you the things I got in France in October since I'm making this haul.

So let's just start with the things I bought in France, since I bought them the longest time ago.

I wanna start with this jacket. Some of you might have already seen this on my blog or Instagram.

It's this cool, red biker jacket, which I got on sale for about 20 euros

It has this cool detail on the back saying: I'm not sorry, which might have been reason why I ended up buying it - otherwise it's pretty plain.

I'm SO happy with this purchase and I've already used it A LOT

and I'm pretty sure that I won't regret getting this jacket

In France I also bought this blanket that I'm currently sitting with

It's this baby pink, SUPER fluffy and SUPER soft blanket

It's just so nice and I couldn't help but get this - It was way too cute and pink and just so me.

On our way home one the ferry from Germany to Denmark you can shop tax-free

and then I couldn't resist on buying a new perfume

And I bought this one - it's from Valentino and it's called Donna and it's the aqua version

There are two versions - this is the eau de toilette

It's not as heavy and I think this one had the nicest scent of the two

It has this beautiful perfume bottle filled with Valentino's famous studs

And it's just pink and girly and just what I like

It's a bit hard to explain a scent but it's very sweet and lovely - I would wear this type of scent all year

But primarily in the winter time because of the sweetness and a bit heavier

and because of this it suits wintertime and winter events very well

I've shopped a bit at Missguided - I couldn't help but open all of the packages but at least I haven't worn anything, which is always something

I bought this sweater, it's this cream color and it has a turtleneck - then it also has these cute braided details on the front

It's a bit cropped but not to the extent that your entire belly is out

The material is super nice - I actually haven't bought any of this stuff on black friday because I tried to hold back ;)

But there was actually 50 % off the day I bought this , so I got it for under 20 euros

It's just so nice and I think it would go very well under my red biker jacket

That's what I got on Missguided - I have A LOT of stuff on my ''wish list'', but I'm trying to hold back since Christmas and presents are coming up

I did some shopping on ASOS, and the first thing I got is this little thing.

I don't quite know how to pronounce it - it's a beret - I don't know how to say it

BUT it's one of these cute hats. I just loved the color and the quality is super nice considering the price

They've been very popular so I thought 'why not?' When I was able to get this cute color

and furthermore I bought this basic turtleneck. The material is SO nice and it's from River Island, which is a very nice brand

It has this rip detail and this cute little slit in each side

It's super cute and can be styled in SO many ways - I think I'm gonna love this for skirts, jeans, jackets, coats etc.

It's one of those 'musts' for me.

Finally I did some damage at Victoria's Secret because .. I can't help myself

And on their site I bought .. some pj's

If there's something I love about Christmas it's pj's, lounge wear, night wear etc. - everything comfy and cosy

Then I just thought, why not by a new set of pi's since Christmas and winter is coming up

I think there was some sort of sale if you bought the top and the pants separately

I think I paid around 65 euros in total

And this is what it looks like - it's a lavender/dusty rose color and in this satin like material

It's super soft and comfortable

Here are the matching pants. They have these black details on each side

And a black bow - it's a bit creased right now

The shirt of course also has the black details - and it also has a cute little heart on the front pocket.
