Today I'm going to show you how to find an SNES Classic because right now
They're near Impossible to find so if you want to find an SNES
Classic you're gonna want to stick around for this because I found a little secret from a Target employee
I don't know that they were supposed to tell me. So I'm gonna go ahead and tell all of you.
Alright so, I got a little story. I want to share with you.
Today I went to Target with the wife
And I figured you know what I'll just stop in and see if they have an SNES
Classic and what I like to do is not ask them when they're gonna get their next shipment in because most companies, most stores
They're not gonna tell you. they'll just tell you that they don't know when they're gonna get the next shipment in and I don't know if that's true and
That's because what I learned today. When I ask somebody when they got their last
SNES Classic that shipment in they said that they got him on the 29th
And they had a ton of them they had something like 85 of them. They sold out within 45 minutes. You're a typical story, right?
Then after that she said they have one system that had come in since then on October 3rd or 4th something like that
After that they haven't gotten a single SNES Classic. It's only been a little bit of time, but still having none come in
It's kind of surprising and also lets me know that ok
It's not like they're getting a daily shipments in they're not getting in weekly shipments
They're not really getting in a whole lot
So the target employee pulled out a little device and basically
She was able to type in some sort of SNES code
And it tells her exactly when the next shipments coming in she's like well
I don't know if we're gonna have the data in the system yet, but let's go and check it out
so she pulls it up and
Finds out that the SNES classic is coming to this particular target on October 20th
So that tells you a couple of things one
They are able to look up when a shipment is coming in and two
There's no need to go back to that target every single day call them every morning and bug them over and over and again
They have the ability to look these things up and I feel like I've been lied to for so many different things
I know that for the Nintendo Switch I
Definitely asked them when's the next shipment coming in and they would say oh, we don't know they come in sporadically. That's a lie
We've been lied to my friends, and I'm just my mind's blown right now. I
Let me know if you feel the same way after hearing this knowing that they can check. I mean at least at Target.
I'm sure maybe the other
Companies as well can tell exactly when their shipments are coming in and as long as they don't tell anybody
It's it's whatever it. They just don't tell anybody. It's fine. I don't know
I don't know how you feel about it
So what does this mean?
it means one probably all of the Targets, at least in my area are gonna get that shipment around the same day because
They have giant distributors that then distribute to all of the local stores
So check in with your target and figure out you're probably gonna get it around that same time
I would imagine this means that you shouldn't even worry about trying to find an SNES Classic at a Target especially if the date is
Like two weeks out now you can start focusing on
Walmart and Best Buy and other stores
That might get a SNES classic before that more than likely all of the stores aren't getting their shipments on the exact same day
So now you're able to figure out some sort of game plan and that's important
I have three different tips for finding an SNES classic at a retail store allowing you to avoid the scalpers
The first thing you want to do is always
Call ahead. Don't show up to a store first thing in the morning getting your hope super high
showing up 30 minutes before they open and just
Hoping that they've got a system in because more than likely they don't they don't. They only get them in like once a week
And if they say they get them in sporadically that's usually not how it works
It's usually once a week some stores get them in on Tuesdays some stores game in on Wednesdays
They don't have a truck that comes in there every single day giving them new shipments
So there's no point in checking in every day. It just doesn't really happen like that so always call ahead
Ask if they got one in. The second tip is find out when they got their last shipment in a lot of times
Employees won't tell you when they're getting their next shipment in but a lot of times
they will share with you when they got their last shipment in and that tells you a lot that tells you exactly what day of
The week that you want to be checking back and a lot of times
They'll tell you what time they put them out on the floors like a Walmart that is 24/7
They're not gonna have it out at midnight every time. Stores that aren't twenty-four hours a day like Best Buy and Target
They'll usually have them out first thing in the morning
My third tip is to be prepared to show up to store right when it opens. More than likely Best Buy
Target and the Walmart that aren't open 24/7 or gonna have their supply right when the store opens up
So if you know you've got work day or you know that you just can't be there
There's really no point in trying right now
There's just not enough systems out. You're not gonna be able to get it at a lunch break
They are they're being bought up as soon as the stores open up. If one store says that they get their shipments in on a Tuesday
Morning, but you can't show up there
You know what? Try a different store. Know what time the stores open up
And if you can just be there right when it opens you should be good to go
