Yo what's good everyone Oh J here welcome back to another video today
great information like always let's go ahead and get right into it and we're
starting off with a out-of-nowhere announcement for Dragon's Dogma dark
horizon on the Nintendo switch so Dragon's Dogma dark horizon is
officially coming to the intended switch on April 23rd for $29.99 publisher and
developer Capcom has announced on the action RPG first launched back for the
PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 in April 2013 followed by the PC in January 2016
and the PlayStation 4 on the Xbox one in October 2017 so not too much longer
after it originally some PlayStation 3 right guys no joking on that one well
let's go ahead and get into some more of the key features of the switch version
of the game and of course if you want the full overview of Dragon's Dogma you
can check that out link in the description below but essentially this
is a huge action RPG that I remember back playing it on the PSP released seen
the trailer I played the game originally cuz there was a demo for it but man the
trailer just blew me away back when I first saw so let's get into the key
features for the switch version of the game dynamic combat experience cut off
the foreheads of a Hydra climb atop Griffin's and fight airborne or defeat
dragons and other creatures by finding out their weaknesses tons of content
includes all previously released extra content DLC and the dark horizon
expansion content which is the highly praised combat experience and rich
customization plus a huge underground realm to explore with terrifying
monsters customisation options galore 9 different vocations for players to
choose from with a variety of skill and magic options for each armor that can be
upgraded and enhanced plus pawn companions that can be trained to fit
your desired combat style adapted user interface revamped user interface offers
improved screen visibility online functionality the iconic pawn system
comes to and endow switch with online sharing abilities between tendo accounts
and of course a Nintendo switch online membership is not required for the
online features there's also play anywhere for the first time Dragon's
Dogma can be played on the go using the no switches systems handheld or tablet
mode so you guys are checking out the trailer as well here or maybe not
because Capcom gets kind of crazy with trailers and everything but overall this
is fantastic to see a game of this caliber called the Nintendo switch and
like I was talking about before guys we're going to see a lot of different
third-party announcements and a lot of seventh gen kind of rerelease
announcements on the Nintendo switch this year last year was pretty good for
that along with new stuff like Valkyria Chronicles 4 but I think this year we're
going to see a lot more because companies saw what went down last year
with the switch and the sales of the system and they're gonna be bringing
floods of games to it or whatever games they can bring over I think Dragon's
Dogma is one of those games that people didn't expect just because it's kind of
old it originally released back on the PlayStation 3 but it's still a very good
game and over the course of its years it's had a lot of expansions updates and
everything and we're getting the best version of that and now anywhere that we
want Dragon's Dogma is one of those games that I never finished I actually
had it on the ps3 and then I don't know where that company I think I sold it
back then and then I got it on the Xbox 360 and I got maybe about a quarter of
the way through I just didn't do everything so for me this is definitely
gonna be a no-brainer purchase definitely picking up this game it's a
lot of fun to play a little weird when you first start playing it because it
doesn't control and kind of operate like a lot of Japanese RPGs out there but
once you get the hang of it it's actually a ton of fun so I highly
recommend it we don't know if there's gonna be a physical version of the game
or if it's just gonna be digital Capcom did it say I'm hoping that capcom
doesn't cheap out and make the game physical completely physical as an all
on the same cartridge yes because Skyrim was all on one cartridge so I do for
that this game can fit all on one cartridge as well so I'm hoping they do
that but you guys know how Capcom is so we'll have to wait and see but either
way I'm gonna be picking it up on the switch because this game is really good
and I do want to actually finish it one of these days so what do you guys think
about Dragon's Dogma coming over to Nintendo's switch let me know your
thoughts in the comment section below alright now moving on to the next topic
here we have a reconfirmation that a brand new bravely default game is in
production so that is something that we did talk about earlier before about
bravely default because they've been teasing bravely default mole
full times on the Twitter account we got the idea joy Khan's we got the bravely
default with the octopod traveler how the shadow was kind of showing that on
top of that we also have them saying with the new year's resolutions that a
2019 we want to do new games and the octo path and bravely series so we
already know but now we have a direct confirmation according to the official
Twitter account saying that yes a new game is in development not that we want
to do a new game but a new game is in development we don't know platforms and
there isn't any details at this point but at the same time I can guess ok or
if I was a betting person I'm not but if I was a betting person then I would
definitely say that this game is going to be on the Nintendo switch and it's
probably going to be an exclusive because Nintendo's going to be helping
out with publishing or development but we have to wait and see on that but
bravely default is one of those games probably I'm most excited to play or at
least see because of the art style right off the bat traveller has this really
cool retro art style but bravely default had this like chibi slash cel-shaded I'm
not really sure what the art style is I'm not exactly sure the style what they
use but either way it was really cool and I think that if you can adapt that
art style to where the models are bigger and you have a system that's more
powerful like the Nintendo switch because the 3ds obviously they made some
concessions just because of how it is I can only imagine what they're gonna be
able to do with that type of look of bravely default and the gameplay that is
what makes the bravely default better than so many RPGs out there is the
gameplay the class system everything that you can do so adapting that to the
Nintendo switch anywhere that you want is just something that's going to be
really good and also being able to play on the TV there were times that you know
bravely default it would have been nice to kind of play on the big screen and
everything but the graphics obviously 3ds resolution wouldn't have looked good
but on the switch really they can kind of just do whatever they want when
you're going from 3 yes the Nintendo switch so I'm excited to see what they
have for us and I think that maybe we get an announcement of a new bravely
default game at a Nintendo Direct maybe not this one here but maybe we see it at
e3 or a Nintendo Direct or an event at the end of the year from Square Enix so
yes definitely excited for this off the path was last year
this is the year that we see bravely default so what do you guys think about
bravely default the Twitter account confirming that there's a new gaming
development what would you like to see new out of the series or what would you
like to see them add into a switch version of a bravely default game and it
does seem like it's going to be a new game release not like a remake of the
original or anything like that so let me know you guys have thoughts in the
comment section below alright I'm moving on to the final topic
here we've got a brand new demo that's coming to resin e evil - it's called the
one-shot demo and it launches on January 11th with some stipulations so Capcom
will release a limited time one-shot demo for the Resident Evil 2 remake for
PlayStation 4 Xbox one and PC via Steam on January 11th which will be available
to download until January 31st the company has announced here's an overview
from Capcom so aptly named the one-shot demo players must take on the challenge
of surviving the horrors of Raccoon City in just 30 minutes if players complete
the mission objective under 30 minutes they can restart the mission until they
use up their full time if players succumb to the zombies during their 30
minutes they can continue any number of times until the full 30 minutes has been
reached the end of the demo reveals a brand new cinematic trailer exclusive to
demo participants while players cannot restart the playable demo after their
time is up there are no limitations to how many times the trailer can be viewed
in the one-shot demo players step into the boots of rookie police officer Leon
s Kennedy my favorites Resident Evil character as he arrives at Raccoon City
police station in the ultimate worst first day on the job
Leon must survive vicious zombies and solve puzzles to find safe passage out
of the station with an entire building of flesh-eating nightmares lurking
between Leon and his escape while the clock ticks down players need to be sure
they're killing more than just time now so Resident Evil 2 is due out for the
ps4 Xbox one PC on January 25th and you guys might or might not be checking out
this chair here because once again Capcom gets crazy with these trailers
and copyrights and all that but either way I am really excited about this
one shot demo I think it'd be pretty cool to stream to see what we can get
through and then at the end I'll watch the trailer once it's out so I'll
definitely be downloading and streaming this one shot demo I'm a huge Resident
Evil fan I love the New Age and I mean that as in like the Resident Evil 4 and
up games I've played all the classic ones and those are great but Resident
Evil 2 is the game that I wanted them to remake probably more than any other
Resident Evil game out there because it features Leon s Kennedy who is my
favorite resident evil character because of Resident Evil 4 that's my favorite
Resident Evil game of all time but man the way that this game is looking this
is looking like it's going to be my favorite Resident Evil game of all time
and a contender for game of the year for sure because it is just looking great
what they're doing the graphics the Xbox one X I'm gonna be playing it on there
I've talked about how I feel about the behind the back third-person view as
like you're shooting I thought that's the best way to experience Resident Evil
because it gives you that scope of being able to shoot but then also being able
to see your surroundings and your character and that's what Resident
Evil's about it's about the characters not only just the horror or whatever the
case is or the shooting but about the characters and how they're animated and
their facial expressions and as you see them as they get like chainsawed or
something like that or as they're getting bitten
that's what Resident Evil's always been about so when you put it in first-person
it just takes away that type of feeling to me in terms of how Resident Evil's
always been which is a third-person game which is why I'm a lot more excited for
this game than like let's say Resident Evil 7 so awesome to see what they're
doing here with this game this is one shot demo the beat a bit stingy with it
right giving you one shot and building the gimmick around it but hey it is what
it is they don't have to release a demo also what do you guys think about this
one-shot demo for Resident Evil 2 will you be trying it out before the game
launches on January 25th let me know your thoughts in the comment section
