Hi guys, today we are back. We are gonna be showing you our top 5 favorite fall
items that we found this year. There have been so many different trends that we
found and have fallen in love with and we've shown you the different videos
breaking down all of the different trends for this season. So now we're
gonna show you our five top ones that we just love and the reasons why. And if
you've been watching all of our fall trends videos you've definitely seen
these items appear over and over and over again. And that's why we selected
them as our top 5 fall fashion favorites. So now we're going to show you some
different ways that we've styled them and linked all of the items down below
so that you can pick them up as well. So our first item we selected is the red
bag and these are two of our favorites. we've also linked some different red
bags that are very similar in different price ranges and we love the red bags.
It's just such an easy fun accessory to add a pop of color and it really you
know adds a little something extra to your fall outfit. So I picked up my red
bag from Coach and obviously we've got a beautiful one from Gucci but you know
really it's the shape that we were really gravitating towards. And red is
such a hot color for this season and truthfully for me I just love you know
adding that pop of color to all of my outfits. Whether I'm wearing denim or black
whether it's you know a white a neutral. I just feel like it it's something that
I feel like I'm adding an element to my outfit that really helps to kind of
brighten up. I agree and red is such a big like you said fall trend.
Is such a beautiful color pretty much for all year round so whether you invest
in you know a designer bag or you go for a more affordable style it really
doesn't matter. There's so many great choices out there but we prefer the
crossbody style right because you get to see that pop of red across your
outfit if you like or you can wear it you know one shoulder style.
And the smaller you know square type of bags but there are so many great bags
out there and we've seen some at Target, Express, they've got them at GAP. I mean just
you know it's just a really fun. Fun thing if you're going to you know add a
handbag to your collection this season I definitely would recommend red. I agree.
Our next item is the leopard belt. I love this belt. Yeah this one's mine. She
kept stealing it from me but we finally got her to get her own. This belt is awesome and
I'm sure you've seen it in so many of our videos. It just works with so
many looks and we've linked this one from Express as well as a few other
options that are very similar. And it's just a great little something to add to
a very simple outfit. I agree it is that perfect touch of Leopard that you can
always add to your outfit that just makes it look complete and pulled together.
So love it. Absolutely love it. I just think that
the color of the browns and the black. I just I love it I really do love the belt and especially the
buckle, the gold. Yeah the gold with the leopard is just really pretty I think
it's such a classy look and it's something different. If you don't want to
do you know a printed bag or a printed shoe you can do the belt keep the rest
of your look you know neutral or a pop of color and it just works in so many
ways. So we had fun putting together lots of different looks with this belt.
And I feel like instead of just grabbing maybe a typical black belt
adding the leopard like you see. Obviously it looks good with her outfit, it looks good with this.
Leopard goes with everything. This is such a great belt and it's also such
a good deal. It is. I know I recently looked on there and they actually have
it on sale as well so we'll link it down below. You probably got
it on sale. I did, I did. No fair. So another fall favorite that we have is the long cardigan. Absolutely
love love love long cardigans. For myself I definitely have a little bit of a hip
issue that's going on so I love the fact that it covers over any of those
insecurities and really helps to just kind of create a nice long lean line
when you're when you're looking at me. So I don't look so frumpy and dumpy.
Definitely never look frumpy and dumpy but I do love these. These are great
they're so cozy you know when it actually is cooler out if you actually
are experiencing fall weather they're just like something comfy and I feel
like you can throw it on top of a simple t-shirt or a cami or anything and it
just like raises the style level up a few notches. So they're really hot
for fall. They are! They're everywhere. They are.
I've seen so many pictures yes everybody is wearing them yeah I love the long
cardigan. The ones that we are showing in these looks are all from Old Navy and
they actually have some striped ones and you know different variations but I've
seen these everywhere and they're just such a great piece and they're all over
Instagram. I mean I can't look at Instagram without seeing someone with
the long cardigan and they're just such a great thing to have in your wardrobe for fall.
And I think the reason why we gravitated towards the Old Navy ones is because
they just weren't too too chunky. They created that look
that you were looking for but they also have like a nice thinner lightweight
material which really doesn't add any sort of bulk. And you can't beat the price point of course you know.
They're great so definitely something you want to add to your fall list of
these to pick up. And the next item on our list is the striped tee so I have a
short sleeve one this is like an ivory with navy stripes.
Christina has the black and white stripes. Surprise surprise it's basically
black with just a little bit of white in there. But perfect for fall, when we
were thinking about what were the items that kept popping up in lots of our
looks and we kept reaching for. The stripes tee was an obvious choice. over and over. definitely you know when we were coming up with this idea of you
know what were fall favorites. The first one I was like we've got to use the
striped tee - you know we keep using it. And that with the red bag. yeah that's true. and
they really did make an appearance many times on our Instagram on our YouTube
videos. They just came in handy a lot more than I actually
ever thought that they would. So it's a great piece to add. It looks great under
the long cardigan, looks great with a denim jacket, a blazer, you know this one
I actually had tied up to the side in a knot and some of my looks you can do a
little front tuck with it but it's just it's really versatile. It is more
versatile than we actually even realized. Absolutely pick them up. It was
definitely like a purchase where we thought oh this is kind of cute. And then
it was oh we gotta grab the striped tee with this outfit, Oh I bet it will really
go with this trend as well. So happy. I really feel like it is a good investment. It is. Just a fun little
interesting element. I know for me I wear and I think you're the same way like
neither one of us wear a lot of print. We tend to gravitate towards solid
colors so you know usually we might have our prints and a detailing in the shoes or
the belt but this is kind of something a little different a little interesting
with the stripes. So it's a fun fun you know fall trend. And I think that's
the reason why we like it. Yes. And for our final item we have the fun printed
mules. Saved the best for last. Exactly love love love mules. you know
they're easy you just slip them in and go. I also like the fact that most mules
that we've picked up are really good price points. That you can do things that
are you know a little bit more adventurous as far as color or design or
pattern. It really helps to spice up your outfit and you're not having to invest a
lot of money in them. So yeah Target has been doing such a good job with their
mules lately. These two pairs, the studded black and this beautiful fuchsia color
Why am I holding black again. Hmmm I wonder. Their both Target A New Day brand. Super good price
point under $25 and so it's a really fun way to do a trend. This one I just got
from Soul Society and this is the leopard print this one was a little bit
more expensive but still under $100 and just a great great shoe.
So mules are just really fun it's kind of a trendy cousin of the ballerina flat.
So true so you know it's just like a little bit more modern and I love this
pointy toe it's pointy but it's not super pointy it's almost like a rounded
pointy. So they are still very comfortable and it just gives you like a
little bit of an edgy look to it. So it's really fun trend this is probably one of
my favorite trends for fall. So if you haven't already
pick up some fun mules in a bright color or some studs or a nice pattern and
which happens to be leopard. surprise surprise. so
yes definitely a fall favorite definitely you know made their way into
lots of our videos. And one thing that you will notice is when we're showing the
different looks and the different pictures is that many of these looks
incorporate a couple of these items so when we were pulling the pictures it was
like we'll do we use that for the belt? Or do we use that for the
mules? Or do we use that for the cardigan because they're all in there. Yeah but
that's why they are our favorite. Exactly because they really we did
use them so much over. Absolutely so you know when you buy them you feel good
about you're gonna get a lot of use out of it. I love something that I'm using
over and over and over again. Yeah and we hope that the images really help to give
you an idea all the different ways that you can wear our five fall favorites and
you know kind of inspire you to start incorporating maybe some of these
instead of using it in the same way every single time. Absolutely and it's
good to see that you know trends doesn't mean like trendy or or too young trends
You can incorporate them into your know classic looks that you have
and just that little something just to make you look modern is really fun. So

I've always worked with black this time I was like okay let's spice it up a
little bit let's infuse white and just we had a great time with the collection

very clear about what she wanted and I think that also is a way to inspire
people and I think a collection says it all and I'm glad that Nixon has this
