How To Build A Basic Fort In Minecraft - Duration: 2:44.

Hello everyone my name is Dallin Lane this video is a very short tutorial on how to

build a basic fort in Minecraft if you have any questions if anything is

unclear or even if you have any suggestions for what the next video

tutorial should be please leave them in the comment section below and I will

respond as quickly as possible the first thing you're going to want to do is take

as much wood from a tree as possible you're going to need a lot of wood in

this tutorial you're gonna press e on your keyboard to get to this

menu and then you're going to convert the wood into the planks then you're

going to convert the planks into the crafting table and then right click on

the crafting table and what you're gonna do is create a wooden or a wooden axe

now I would suggest to create at least two because they break very easily and

then you're going to create a door so far everything in this tutorial is made

through is made through wood from a tree so that's pretty much the the only

thing you need to build a fort without all the other features like a bed and

stuff like that and this is very easy you can just see I'm stacking the wooden

planks on top of each other and the fort the basic fort is done we're going to

start mining. Drill a hole at the top and then directly below that hole you're

gonna start mining there so that the sunlight can fill that hole so you don't

have any darkness where your mining so it's a little bit of a cheat but it's

it's nice so you can see what your mining always and then you build a

ladder and then you build a furnace with the cobblestone that you've gotten also

you can build a chest in the exact same way that you built that furnace just

substitute the cobblestone for wooden planks sorry and then that's a

picture of iron ingot or iron ore you put that in the furnace at the top. You put

coal at the bottom and you can melt the iron ingot which is you just saw me

craft into shears. Use the shears on the sheep. To take the wool you put the

wool on the top row the wooden planks on the bottom row to create a bed. Beds are

very important because you can sleep during the night time so you don't

aren't ever around any monsters and then that's a torch. Torches are also very

important because no monster can spawn within three or four squares of a torch

so that's why I always place torches and then you create a hoe to plant seeds and

stuff like that. Put the hoe in the one hand and the seed in the other hand

by pressing F and then your on the other thing and then you just right

click to plant all of your crops so it's very easy, so you don't have to keep

going back and forth. So that's also another shortcut and that's a basic

then save for a 405 and buy a couple
